I love having this l little cafe like coffee shop/ bakery within walking distance to me. From my early morning coffee to my iced tea with lunch, I am always greeted with a smile and fresh food/ beverage. I adore the fact that they offer indoor and outdoor seating. This is a perfect location to stop by quickly, catch up on emails, do school work, event plan, or meet up with friends. Come hungry because the food wont disappoint.

One of my favorite places to visit, coffee is delicious, and the staff is friendly, personable, and always helpful no matter what questions I have or requests I make theyre always more than willing to accommodate. Re: Cake Orders-- This bakery really makes amazing cakes, well worth the price. Guests said it was one of the best cakes they've ever had. You only need 24 hrs notice for an order. Wonderful variety of flavors/fillings. I ordered a traditional cake so I can't speak to GF or vegan.

Perfect Blend is a great neighborhood spot. My husband and I love walking there on a weekend morning and enjoying coffee and a scone or egg sandwich in one of the many welcoming seating areas. The food and coffee are not inexpensive, but in my opinion, worth it!

I was apprehensive about getting a gluten-free cake for my wife who had a very high standard for baked goods. I also want quite sure what flavours I wanted to get as it was a surprise. The decorator picked up and guided me through to what kind of cake combinations and options there were. I honestly don’t remember what I ended up with. It. Was. Amazing. One of the best cakes (taste and look both) I’ve ever had.

My fiancee received a birthday cake from here as a gift from his mom. He's really not a sweets or cake person (I kind of assumed I'd have to eat most of it myself), but he absolutely loved his cake from here! I've only ever seen him eat one piece of a cake to be polite, but he has been devouring this cake. The flavor was great (blackberry frosting on a chocolate cake) and the cake itself was very moist and tasty, too. Nice job!

I grew up in Delmar - before Perfect Blend existed - and my experience this weekend made me realize what a gem this place is. I had ordered a cake for a party and missed the pickup time; arrived to find the bakery shut down/locked up. A nearby business owner made a few calls and the Cafe's owner (Dan?) quickly arranged for another nearby business person to get me into the bakery's kitchen to find my PERFECT cake awaiting in the refrigerator. I miss small town America in these moments... Thank you so much. Loyal fan for all my return trips upstate.

Love visiting here every time I come to my parents house. Good drinks (I do tea--everyone else coffee) and the food is great. Enough variety that everyone can find what they want. Definitely get yourself some dessert too! Pastries are great but the cupcakes are the BEST.

This was my first ever visit to Bethlehem, NY and oh boy, did I get lucky when I randomly chose a spot for lunch. Perfect Blend espresso is a great balance between strong and flavorful and the southwestern chicken quesadilla is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a good brew or a quick and tasty bite to eat.

I was on a mission today to find an amazing pie for my mother's birthday. I couldn't be happier that I ended up at Perfect Blend. Adelina took my order on the phone and made one of the best pies I've ever had. It was with blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, and had a crumb top. She had it done within an hour. The service was great and the pie was amazing!

This is a perfect place to have a coffee and a treat with friends! Everyone there is so friendly. Their sweet treats are awesome. And they have Gluten Free choices. What a great spot for a cafe, Located in Delmar. They have seating up front or towards the back. All the wait staff was super nice and they have a big selection of baked goods. I love a place who can do a good cappuccino, and they did not disappoint.

Two words. The Vermonster. This place is "I'm willing to wait on line for it good". Except, somehow, you barely have to wait, even when the place is packed to the gills. If I lived near Albany I'd be here every week. I was visiting from Brooklyn, but I got the inside scoop on breakfast from the locals and god damn were they right.

This is a very popular place in Delmar. Coffee, tea and baked goods. The wait is worth it. Seasonal apple cider donut is a must try. It may only be available on select days of the week. Wish they were open on Sundays but they earn their rest by providing great experiences to the community the rest of the week. Stop by and have your coffee out back when the weather permits.

One of the best bakeries in the Capital District. I love the hangout and vibe of places like Uncommon Grounds and other local coffee shop/cafe's that offer a unique breakfast experience. A Perfect Blend, however, has one of the very best varieties of baked goods and prepared items in an awesome atmosphere. There's something unique on the menu for everyone.

My husband and I got our wedding cake from here. From day one it was a pleasure working with Katie , and all the staff that we had dealt with. We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Perfect Blend Café & Bakery, which was part of our wedding package at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. The to-go tasting box was such a fun way to try different flavor combinations, and Austin was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They brought our vision to life perfectly, and we received so many compliments on both the look and the taste of our cake. They also went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with allergies by creating gluten-free and gluten-free + vegan cupcakes, which our celiac family members raved about, everyone said they were absolutely delicious! I’m not usually much of a cake person, but I was completely obsessed with ours, I kept eating it all week after the wedding, LOL!

Our wedding cake was made by Perfect Blend and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. The 3 tasting cakes we received were plenty big enough to get a good taste and share. There were several flavors available for the cake, filling, and frosting that were all good options to customize your cake. It was an easy choice for us to pick a vanilla cake with salted caramel mousse filling and a salted caramel buttercream frosting. Our cake was perfect for our fall wedding and our guests devoured every last piece. We saved the top tier for our 1 year anniversary, since we don't live locally, and we often say we can't wait to eat it again. We absolutely recommend this bakery for your wedding or other cake needs. Yum!

Awesome cafe with an expanded menu serving breakfast, lunch, pastries, brownies, cakes, specialty coffees and more! Staff is friendly and service is fast. It's definitely a hometown favorite. The iced brown sugar cinnamon latte under performed my expectations but other than that this is a must try destination. Parking can be tricky but once parked you won't be disappointed.

So cute! Why have I not been here before? Plentiful parking and though very busy, my family of 4 got a table right away. We ordered a cake online for my son and it was ready when I got there. A sprinkle cake, almond flavored with strawberry filling. Delicious and for $25 for a 6 inch cake I found the price to be reasonable. I had a maple latte with a BC eagle breakfast sandwich, my hubby had an americano with the Vermonter and my kids had a chocolate croissant and strawberry cheese danish. Everything was delicious, prepared quickly and the staff were all very friendly. Can’t wait to return!

My old man bought me a birthday cake from here, one that was gluten free due to his fiancé being allergic to the stuff. Now normally I put GF free cakes in the same category as I do with hardtak biscuits, but Perfect Blend proves that not all things GF free must be moisture free too. My particular cake was lemon themed, with a whipped cream frosting, a very pound cake like base, and a strange lemon pudding filling in the center kept there by a ring of thick butter cream frosting. Really liked the cake itself, nice and basic, lots of volume and with that pound cake-like quality had a touch of moisture. The whipped topping was also an easy A+, paired perfectly with the cake. The inner pudding was, odd, not as powerful in terms of lemon but its consistency was what really had us pondering. The only part I feel like maybe could use some work was the ring of butter cream they used to seal in the pudding, it was just so sweet, like, overkill sweetness. And it had no lemon flavor, just rich and sweet like regular buttercream does. Still, given this is a GF free cake, I will grant it full marks.

Great place to get brunch, delicious pastries, or a coffee or tea and hang out to do work or socialize with friends. There is parking in the back or around town. We got some delicious breakfast sandwiches, the vermonster was great, and a very good grilled cheese with prosciutto. We took some pastries to go including a pumpkin cinnamon biscotti. A lovely place to spend a weekend morning.

Our catering package with Old Daley included a wedding cake package with perfect blend. We decided to do a small cake with cupcakes and were very happy with our decision. All of the cake/cupcakes were delicious! We were given tons of flavor options to choose from and ended up going with a cake flavor and 4 additional cupcake flavors. We did a sample before and were impressed with the size of the samples we were given. It was more than enough for my husband and our parents to test out the flavor combinations. Overall, I can’t recommend Perfect Blend enough for your bakery and cake needs!

Amazing place to eat and relax. Lots of seating inside and outside. Great selection of gluten free foods so the wife was happy. Service is very good and everyone was very friendly. The wife said she couldn’t even tell her sandwich was gluten free and thought it was some of the best bread she’s had. Portions are very nice sized and prices where quite affordable.

The new space here is nicely designed and comfortable. This is a very "neighborhood" place with a nice slice of the local population and events. The food options are varied and tasty, but the coffee is not the greatest .. and oddly they do not carry whole milk..

I go here often, especially for breakfast sandwiches. I particularly like the "fiesta zap" which is a a breakfast wrap with eggs, spinach, rice, beans, and cheese. They also have many other creative choices and you can build your own. The coffee is good and it is locally owned plus you get a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

Whoever was making the breakfast sandwiches last Sunday (8/15) is a magician! We had the Vermonster and the BC Eagle and not only were they super tasty but they were expertly crafted. I have never seen a breakfast sandwhich layered to such perfection that they stayed together and did not slide around. I don't get to Delmar often but I know where I'll be stopping when I do pass through. Thank you!

This is my first time here. I had a veggie Jackson quesadilla with a spinach quesadilla oh my goodness it was so delicious. The coffee is awesome too. I recommend if you're ever in Delmar to try this.

There was a cooler with pies, brownies, cakes and other sweets . It was help yourself . In today's climate that turned me off. Decor was great , the layout was a little confusing. I didn't know who was in line or waiting for an order. And it wasn't clear what to do with my plate when I was done. While they brought my order out and auctioned it off ( standing there yelling my name ) ,it was not table service. Overall I recommend this place breakfast or lunch.b

Pleasant we got there between busy times. My decaf white chocolate latte was perfect and frosted almond scone excellent. My companion had okay banana bread and plain coffee also okay. Prices are a little on the high side but quality is good.

Always yummy food. Had a custom cake that was not ideal... It was well done, but missing a coupe classic ingredients. So that was interesting. However the pricing was spot on and the ability to choose sizes, colors, patterns is fun. Online ordering very simple, streamline. Great platform.

I love Perfect Blend. Their coffee is one of the best in the area. I would say it ranks second or third best in the Capital Region. They have a neat little bakery that supplies the cafe with amazing pastries and baked goods, and they have a menu chock-full of tasty food. My fiancee and I come here every weekend. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it's CRAMMED. If there's no where to sit, which most times is the case over the weekend, you end up awkwardly standing in a narrow little pathway dodging people and food-runners while you wait for your order. If you do happen to find a table though, they will bring your food right out to you. The customer service is impeccable and everyone is super friendly. Please expand seating!

This cafe has a great atmosphere. The menus are neatly and clearly written. I’ve gone for breakfast and lunch multiple times and have enjoyed it each time. The coffees are consistent, the smoothies are delicious and they have the options of soy and almond milk. Vegetarian menu items. Bakery items are also optional of vegan/gluten free. The space can be small depending on the time of day and the amount of patrons.

I was looking for breakfast in Delmar and I decided to give up my usual go to and went to perfect blend instead. It was crowded at 10 AM. The counter where you get service is a bit claustrophobic especially because people are walking both ways as there is an entrance on the back. My wait was about five minutes to give my order. I ordered an egg sandwich on a hard roll with cheese and a London fog tea. The tea was five dollars I believe and the egg sandwich seven. Given a choice of oat milk or almond milk in the tea, which was nice. I picked up the tea at the counter and found the seat. The egg sandwich was perfectly fine, but it needed a bit of seasoning even some salt. I would certainly return given the variety on the menu, the wonderful appearance of the baked goods. Counter service was prompt and although I usually don’t like paying with a credit card at the counter serve places because of the screen they turn around that compels you to tip. I was good though and clicked the 15% box. I would certainly be back for coffee breakfast and their lunch menu looked appealing as well.

It's a quality café, don't let the lack of two stars sway you too much. They expanded their seating areas and have a cute little patio in the back, but most of the tables in the building are way too large (4-6 seats per) and get occupied by lone patrons, making it a little awkward to find a place to sit even when it isn't very crowded. Their tea and coffee are fine, and you won't feel a lack of quality there. Their food and smoothies, however, are mostly healthy/trendy options, and it's hard to find something basic to eat. Most of the smoothies more accurately resemble protein shakes. Don't go in expecting comfort food. If you're vegan or vegetarian, or just into healthy food, this place has plenty of options. It is good, but honestly, I found myself wishing for a normal sandwich. That being said, my meal and the bite I had of my partner's were both delicious. An aside to Pokémon Go players, Perfect Blend is within range of two-ish stops depending on where you sit, and a gym.

I was going to write a 5 star review until I went to grab a coffee there yesterday. I LOVE THEIR BREAKFAST SANDWICHES. Their coffee drinks are amazing and delicious (beware, the nitro cold brew is SO strong and sweet). However, despite them cleaning, they don't do it correctly. Yesterday, I was sitting in the booth area in front of where the sweets and quiche are displayed. The employee removed the quiches from the top shelf and wiped it down while the other desserts were underneath it. The crumbs dropped on top of the desserts. This was disturbing to me and disgusting. I was surprised because I didn't expect it. I also saw the same employee wrap the quiches in plastic without gloves on. This was close to 4:00 pm so I don't know if it's different in the morning but I will be cautious of the desserts. Everything else is amazing and the staff are so nice and friendly so I was slightly disappointed. I hope I don't see this again...

Nice spot in town but often disappointed by the product inconsistency of made to order menu items. For example… the avocado toast is great tasting… but sometimes u get wicked small pieces of bread or super thin slices…. Other times u get nice large thick slices. Doesn’t really seem fair when the price is the same ($10). Other than that annoying issue, their baked goods and made to order espresso drinks are great! Also it super sucks that they covid changed their hours and close earlier than they used to.

Not a long wait around 1 o’clock, very friendly staff. Food is good, but the smoothies are pretty bland and taste more like protein shakes than smoothies. Overall? A pretty meh experience. I probably won’t come back anytime soon. Also, the seating is pretty sparse, so beware eating there rather than ordering to go.

This place has gone down hill the past couple months since their renovation. I went to get a tea before work today, stood there 5 minutes while the guy at the counter chatted with the guy prepping food. Walked out when I saw him blow a spitball at him. Ew. However if you're lucky you'll catch "the guy with braids " or "the girl with dreads" and they are fantastic! They get your order right every time and are great at their craft :)

I'm updating my review after a recent visit because everything seems to have changed. The coffee and pastries are still good, but what happened to the actual food? I paid $13 for a slice of toast, mashed avocado and a slice of lox, all of which had no seasoning whatsoever. I'm aware inflation has increased prices, but this wasn't even satiating. I hope this was just an off-day but I am unlikely to return when Delmar has so many other superior options.

I really used to like this place before they remodeled it for the merge with the business next door. It has become very expensive for the portion sizes and the environment lacks the homey, warm atmosphere that it once had. The staff are friendly for the most part, but they're lacking in quality customer service. My friend and I waited several minutes for the kitchen staff to realize they forgot to call our names for the food we ordered. Our hot sandwiches were placed behind the pick up counter where we could not see them, and they were cold by the time we received them.

It was a sad experience. People were nice, and the bakery looked nice as usual. The downside is that the sandwiches are now hastily thrown together, sometimes with stale buns. This was never a place for great food in my experience, but it used to be good. It's hard to tell if the management takes much interest in what happens in the kitchen.

Sad, crappy store bought bagel that they took out of the bag and toasted - crappy and tasteless, a total rip off....

Waited 20 minutes for a barely toasted bagel with cream cheese, was told "sorry, we're down a person, this has just been sitting here because no one can run food out." Unacceptable when the bagel, a coffee, a muffin, and a bottled juice +tip is $20 and the bagel was the only item that required prep. No reason to go here when McCarroll's is across the street.

I ordered a Yule Log cake for Christmas. It specifically said on the website all yule logs cakes are made gluten-free. When we went to pick it up, mostly being paranoid about getting sick, I asked to confirm that it was gluten-free, and was told no, it wasn't because I didn't order it that way. I told them that it said they were all made gluten-free on the website, but was told again that I had to order it that way. The person clearly didn't care. Had I not been overly cautious and double-checked, I would have eaten the cake and gotten sick. Totally unacceptable. Plus, after all that, my gluten-eating family members said the $30 cake wasn't even good. The frosting crumbled and fell off when the cake was cut. No one wanted the leftovers, and we threw half of it away. I will never order anything from Perfect Blend again.

I sometimes visit this place when visiting the area, usually it is nice, I do like the selection. Today I went in with my young grandson, he was excited to get a corn muffin, the girl at the counter had no personality, I said let the girl know what you want he said I want a corn muffin very excited, she never looked at him, never smiled just blank. He is only two, I was holding him and If he wasn't with me I would have said forget it. Won't come back in.

Ouch. Apparently, the barista has mastered a novel technique for preparing cappuccino: very hot, without burning the steamed milk. Make that, extremely hot. So hot, that I was lucky that I had a glass of water on the table to quickly cool my mouth. At the time, not too painful, just a little tingle... Two hours later, after I had left the shop, I realized that the coffee had been more than just extremely hot, as I felt skin begin peeling from the roof of my mouth. And, in retrospect, I realize that I couldn't possibly know if the milk was burned at all. How could I expect to taste anything? I must have forgot to use an infrared thermometer, which I will now have to carry with me to every coffee shop. The baked goods in the display case looked pretty good. And they were room temperature, so, pretty safe, also. It may be time for the barista to return to using a thermometer, and avoid injuring another patron. 2023 07 21.

Worst cappuccino I ever had. Boiled and burnt and the paper cup was only half full, which was a blessing because it tasted so awful.

If it was possible to give them a zero stars, I would. On the morning of 02/11/2020, my co-worker and I went in to "The Perfect Blend" to grab a few yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Back at work, we had a co-worker waiting for her breakfast sandwich. Once we got all of our treats, we headed back to the office. As my co-worker ate her breakfast sandwich, which she was craving tremendously, she bit into it and found a ball of hair within her sandwich. We thought it was a herb at first, but no. It. Was. Hair. I called the establishment six times, left a voice mail, and no one has responded. You can see the photo of the hair in the sandwich below. This is unacceptable. We placed a cake order for my mom’s wedding and they did not deliver the cake as promised in our agreement. They dropped an undecorated cake off at the hotel front desk, which was not the arrangement. The hotel staff did not deliver the cake at all so we did not have a cake for the wedding celebration. Were extremely unhappy with Perfect Blend’s service and their staff are not willing to provide a refund.

This place uses non compostable plastic utensils and does not serve coffee in real cups. I’m disappointed in their lack of commitment to sustainable consumption.
