Cava Denton Reviews
Went for the first time yesterday for lunch. I chose to create my own bowl. I did the mixed greens, chicken, red pepper hummus, few toppings and tried the dill dressing. It was amazing, filling and healthy! The pita bread tasted fresh and regular hummus was just as tasty! Definitely recommend!
Yummy :p Also thanks to Erika for being the most helpful and assisting me in building a bowl that was truly a Mediterranean culinary experience!
I’m consistently impressed with the food quality, freshness, and service at this CAVA location. The team is always friendly and professional, which makes the experience even better. My most recent visit was a drive-through order, and Casey really stood out. My order was ready even before the originally stated time, and when I arrived, Casey took a moment to genuinely interact with me while handing off the order. He was friendly, professional, and it felt authentic rather than rushed. It’s clear he cares about providing great service. Experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. If management sees this, Casey deserves recognition for the excellent customer service.
This was my first time at Cava and the lady taking my order was very nice and help me pick out an amazing bowl!! She was also good about telling me what was an up change and what came with the bowl. Nice staff, my only thing I wasn’t used to was they didn’t have diet coke but had a healthier option which I appreciated! Will definitely be back again.
I want to leave an amazing review for the young lady (I didn’t get her name) who was dealing with a customer who was being a bit rude to her. I was next up in line behind him and the interaction seemed to start off normal. He asked for a bowl with veggies and rice. Once she pour the recommended amount he went on to tell her “add a bit more love” she then told him it would cost more for him to add more. (Which is a no brainer but this comes into play later.) He then goes about making the rest of his order and I make mine, to which I’m sure he asked for extra stuff all down the line. His order came out to being $4 extra, and he began show his displeasure on his face and verbally. He went on to tell the employee how he’s been to many cava all around and this order normally comes up to being $12 (to which either he’s tried to swindle other employees before or this was his first and it didn’t go his way) Either way, she tries to show him the itemized order to show why his total came out to be what it was. He projected that the service was bad because of her “attitude” that I did not see from her end. If anything, she was beyond cordial and even compliant to his demands. Everything except for getting extra food for free. I watched as he complained a bit more and even offered to pay for the meal for him since the $4 was a make or break situation for him. I had places I needed to be and he was holding up the line. He ended up paying but also snatching the receipt from the young lady aggressively and before I left I’m sure he attempted to lie to the supervisor who was on duty at the time. She went to go explain the situation to the supervisor and he told the employee “go do you your job” in a condescending tone. I wish I would’ve gotten her name because she handled the situation in the upmost professional manner. The guy said he’d leave a review to which I want to clear her name before he tries to slander it for not getting free additional food. To the employee whoever you are, you did amazing, this store is always a great atmospheric place, and I come here daily before work. I see you all the time and your work ethic is amazing. I hope that one bad apple didn’t spoil the experience you had!
Just tried for the first time. I liked! I was there mid-afternoon (after lunch rush) and food was fresh and well presented. I had a chicken bowl and it was awesome. Reminded me of The Halal Guys in NYC. Loved the food, the presentation and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Friendly staff.
We have always loved the food at Cava, but we were so impressed by Casey and the customer service that he provided. He was so kind and willing to help us figure out what to order. It is hard to find good customer service these days, so this was a pleasant surprise. We'll return to this location because of our good experience.
So thankful to this place! I almost thought I wasn’t going to make it in time but they let me in the doors like 2mins before they closed and let me get food still. I had just gotten off a hard day at work and it meant a lot!! Especially the day before New Years Eve. Thank you to Kira especially, she was so nice and friendly!!
Casey was INCREDIBLE. We love Cava & come to this location often, but this was some of the best service I’ve received from ANYWHERE in a very long time. He was helpful & kind and brought our pita chips out to our table with a smile when they were fresh & ready. Give him a bonus! 🫶
I’ve been to this location MANY times and it’s always been great but today was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Casey went above and beyond to make the experience lovely. Super friendly, professional and accommodating. Usually people are nice enough, get the job done etc. but Casey just took it up a few notches!!! Thank you Cava for always being sooo yummy, but the award goes to Casey for the best customer service I’ve received in many, many years!! I promise I’m not a friend or relative 🤣 He really just made my lunch experience THAT GOOD!
This was my first time trying Cava and as someone who is navigating as a newly diagnosed Celiac, it was absolutely amazing! Conner and the other staff were so nice and welcoming. I went to the counter and told Conner that I was Celiac and didn’t even have to explain what that was. He immediately said ‘no problem’ and went to wash his hands thoroughly and got new gloves and everything. As someone who hasn’t really felt comfortable going out to eat because of the few experiences I’ve had so far as someone with Celiacs, this made me feel so seen and comfortable eating here. There were also way more gluten free options than I thought there’d be and the food was great! Definitely will be back!
I had a great experience at CAVA while waiting for my food, thanks to Juniper, Kira, and Connor. They were friendly, professional, and created a welcoming atmosphere the entire time. Juniper was attentive, Kira brought great energy, and Connor was quick to help with anything needed. It’s clear they all care about providing excellent customer service. Their teamwork made the wait enjoyable and left me with a very positive impression of this location.
I'd never been to a Mediterranean place before, after this I can safely say it was amazing. The food was delicious, the lemonade was fantastic. The only thing they can probably improve on is the cleanliness of the place. Other than that it was a great meal that left you feeling full and satisfied without the bloat. Definitely recommend to anyone.
Build-your-own pita sandwich or bowl featuring all the freshest Greek essentials that you're craving. Ordered a half-falafel half-braised lamb bowl on brown rice, lentils, and arugula. I put on all the additional toppings and spicy hummus and green sauce. Everything was so flavorful and good.
Dinner at Cava. Never been here before so new restaurant for me. Build your own bowl with super greens, brown rice, something called crazy feta which was crazy hot so I couldn't eat that, kalamata olives, pickled onions and tomatoes, grilled chicken with falafel. Very nice combination of flavors. I think I'll have to visit that place again. #mysteryladystravelingfeet #gypsylife #NeverTooLate #newexperiences #dentontx #tryingnewfoods #thelongwalk #mediterraneanfood
I enjoyed getting salads here for my wife and I. They have let their prices get out of hand and two salads with barely any greens is prohibitively expensive. Two meals and one with steak which is a couple dollars add on costs $34ish dollars with an added pita bread and no drinks. It's better to go to a true sit-down restaurant that offers specials and full meals with a appetizer, main course, and desert included. For a good meal check out Outback steakhouse.
I had a good experience at CAVA overall. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was clean and modern, which made for a pleasant visit. The ordering process was quick and efficient, and I appreciated the variety of options available. That said, the food itself didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. While everything looked fresh and well-prepared, the flavors were a bit underwhelming. I was hoping for something more bold or unique, but it fell a little flat. Still, I’d go back for the convenience and the healthy choices—they’ve got a great concept and solid service, even if the taste didn’t wow me this time.
My first time here and I had such high hopes for this place. I'll have to visit again to see if it was just a hiccup and poor timing. I got the bottom of the barrel when it came to the rice w saffron, that they had to throw in a lil Brown rice to compensate. The wait was another 10 minutes for fresh rice. I did ask for "a lil bit of the lentils" and the gentleman serving did the opposite which probably wouldn't have been too bad had they been cooked properly. They were hard, like hard par cooked someone was in a hurry. I gave one for my friend who loves this place and she was surprised at how hard the lentils were, not firm or al dente but definitely under cooked. That ruined the dish. Such a shame the rest was tasty and well the array of colors were beautiful. I DO LIKE PRETTY FOOD. The tziki sauce fell a lil flat for me, and i wish the chicken had more flavor as it got lost in the bowl. However, I did enjoy the red pepper hummus and the slaw very much. I'll have to get more of those next time. the garlic sauce complimented everything else in my bowl. I also enjoyed the choice of drink, I had the Pineapple Apple mint it tasted fresh and unsweetened. I must say 2 or 3 of the other options were nearly out and it was only nearly 8. Anyway, I will go back again in hopes I can give them 5 stars. Happy eating y'all or not. Now Go get your grub on.
