Fera's Denton Reviews
We had a wonderful experience at Fera’s! It was just me and my 10-year-old daughter and the first thing we noticed was how cute the place is. The decorations were a relaxing, nature-inspired vibe that immediately made us feel comfortable. The woman who took our order was incredibly sweet and had a lovely Italian accent, which made the experience feel even more authentic. I asked her for a recommendation and went with what she suggested, which I wouldn't have otherwise got. The Chicken Aristocrat was an excellent choice. Absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the lasagna and described it as “more cheese than noodle,” which she loved. Everything felt homemade and thoughtfully prepared. There was a steady stream of people coming in on a Saturday night, which was a good sign. We’ll definitely be back, and I’m already looking forward to trying more of the menu. Highly recommend
Fera's Italian Restaurant is hands down one of my favorite spots in Denton. I’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. The chicken parmesan is absolutely the best. Perfectly cooked, rich flavors, and consistently amazing every single time. What really sets this place apart is the authentic Italian atmosphere. The ambiance and interior make you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy Italian restaurant rather than just dining out. It’s warm, inviting, and perfect whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a relaxed evening out. Great food, great vibe, and consistency you can always count on. Highly recommend!
We went here on Valentine's Day and had a great time (: the spaghetti with mushrooms was amazing and I highly recommend the cheesy bread. Great vegetarian options.
Great pizza fresh ingredients. I had the Aloha with pineapple and ham and the large was plenty for dinner and lunch. The service was prompt and friendly. Nice lower level lighting with heavy exposed rustic timber framing providing inviting ambiance. Will definately be back.
My husband and I were driving around and wanted Italian. First time visiting here. Wonderful service and food. Vodka sauce was AMAZING! Looking forward to our next meal here!
I couldn't post pics of my food... I had to be fast my family was eyeing every plate. Once my family had a taste of that artichoke App the realization hit everyone "this is gonna be amazing". It was! The veal, the pasta but the sauce 🤌 we will absolutely be back. Heck we were talking about lunch for the next day. Things we ordered, there were 6 of us so it wasn't all me. Stromboli, Veal picatta, spaghetti w/sausage,chicken parmigina, pasta sampler. Chicken fettuccine and two apps fried mushrooms and artichoke dip. Honestly it was all great. But that artichoke dip... if I were to suggest anything it was that! Do it, splurge get the app it's more than worth it. If your still not sure, understand the Picture of the child with arms back like they are satisfied was after that dip not dinner.
This hidden gem was "Awesome!!" The food was "Delicious" and the bread was to die for!! I have found my Italian Restaurant!!! The Owners are friendly and sweet!!
I thought I’d try this place out today for some takeout and it did not disappoint! I got the Chicken Florentine and everything tasted so fresh and Good, especially the spinach. Will definitely be coming back to dine in with friends next time!
Having a really authentic experience on Italian dish! We got stuffed mushrooms and meatball, which are such comforting Italian classics. The pasta was cooked just right, the sauce was flavorful and rich, and the meatballs were juicy, and full of that authentic homemade taste. Overall, it was a truly satisfying meal that reminded us of the warmth of home cooking.
I came at 6:30 on a Wednesday. It was quiet and not too many people. The owner knew a lot of people who came in so I knew this had to be a great place! The house salad was very good. Their chicken Florentine was pretty good. The cannoli was hard to cut into because it was lined with chocolate in the inside and had been in the freezer I’m sure. The roll that comes with dinner was a little burnt. It kind of overtook my senses so when I took a bite of my dinner it was a little confusing. The main dish was my favorite and the roll was my least favorite.
Took some time to try out Fera's this evening. Everything was delicious. We got a pizza (mostly to take home), half aloha and half beef/onion. It was a great pizza, excellent crust and well prepared. We also had chicken Parmigiano with vodka sauce and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Both dishes were very tasty, well seasoned, and promptly served. Sherifa, our server, was fantastic. She happily answered our questions about the food and about her. We loved the meal and will absolutely go again.
Excellent food and wonderful hosts. Both husband and wife were wonderful to talk to and made the whole dining experience as if u are eating at home. We ordered home made bread, Mostaccioli Siciliana, chicken tender and fries for my kids, and one more dish (name i can't remember). All the food was flavorfull and tasted excellent. Definitely more flavorfull then all the chain Italian restaurants. Also tried the canoli which was yummy. Would definitely go back.
I really loved my experience at this restaurant. It seems to be family-owned and the family does to appear to be from Italy. The ambience is fantastic with low lighting, traditional italian decorations, a beautifully refurbished bar area, real wooden tree trunks as decor. The seating was comfortable for plus size babes. The food prices are amazing. I got the Chicken Parmigiano--absolutely divine. They are a bit understaffed, but the staff was super nice and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.
We were in town for a few hours and wanted to grab an early dinner before our flight. All the other Italian restaurants didn't open up until 5:30 which would have been too long to wait. Luckily we found this hidden gem. Since we were early for dinner there was only 1 other table of 4 dining. The waiter promply sat us at our table and took our drink order. We looked over the menu and decided on the chicken alfredo and liguinni carbonara. At first sight of the plate of food when it came I thought it was too much, but after finishing my meal I found the portion to be just right. My son's chicken alfredo was tasty and not drowning in alfredo sauce. My liguinni carbonara was delicious as well. Traditionally it is made without cream but it was good. I can't wait to return to this place to try other dishes on the menu. The restaurant itself is an old home that has been converted into a restaurant. The outside is in need landscaping maintenance and the building need some attention. Inside was nicely decorated and welcoming. It has a sense of eating at home.
Off the bat the mood for this place is great, it gives a nice welcoming homey vibe ! I went with the cheese tortellini and it was very good maybe the best pasta I’ve had in my life ! The bread here is also of great quality. We got the garlic bread with cheese and 2 bread rolls , and both where very crunchy with a soft interior the bread rolls are just plain bread but some of the best rolls I’ve had ! The service was also amazing ! The waitress made sure everything was to our liking which I really appreciated :) I’ll Let 100% be taking more friends and family here :)
First time visiting this great place! Family owned restaurant. We had chicken Marsala- lasagna- & the trio plate . Along with the nest garlic rolls you ever had in your life! The waitress was very friendly & attentive. The food was great! My only suggestion is the entrance to the place needs attention. But then again, not eating outside. Highly recommend this place! Oh- great prices!
This review is just for the pizza, not for the dine-in experience, the pizza was very good, they got the crust right, not chewy, not hard crusty! Right amount of sauce, cheese and baked to crisp! Definitely recommend it. It’s little pricey as every thing else out there now is. They claim to be best affordable , could be relatively to other places
Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken needed a lot of salt and pepper because it was basically tasteless and the sauce was very thin. My husband had lasagna and we both agreed we have had much better food at Olive Garden.
Ordered from Slice. Estimated to be 30-45 minutes. Pizza arrived around 1 hour and 15 minutes or so from order time. Pizza arrived cold, and charred black burnt. It wasn't great. I went to McDonald's for dinner and tossed this.
I have no idea how this place has 4.4 stars. The service was horrible, we had to track down our servers for drinks (after sitting there for 20 minutes), then another 15 minutes later track them down to get appetizers, then another 15 minutes later tracked them down to try to get food. We were only 1 set of 4 tables in the whole place, so it’s not like they were that busy. The food was tasteless. The spinach and artichoke dip was like soup, the garlic knots were yeast rolls with just a little bit of seasoning on top. The only plus was it was cheap. The bathroom also was so dirty it looked like a truckstop bathroom. The toilet had pee all over it, and the sink was disgusting and filled with dirt and grime. I wish I had one positive thing to say about this experience, but unfortunately I have nothing.
