The ladies here were very helpful! It has been a long time since we went into a Popeyes’ restaurant to dine in. I used my Senior citizen discount to get my 10 percent off of our spicy chicken sandwich and my regular Classic chicken sandwich! Both were great! Fresh and hot.
The food was great! I think we all go to Popeyes for the food not the service. I had to pull into CVS’s parking lot to wait for my tenders. I wouldn’t have minded if they would have brought me my food when it was ready instead of serving the person that ordered after me first. I watched them through the window so I watched them bag my order and then just wait. The cashier was not very friendly.
Edit: bumping up a star because I appreciate managements concern & response to me. Also, the food was good, especially the fries, they were very fresh! Thank you for understanding my earlier frustration. Lady taking drive-thru orders on evening of 11/7/25 was not very polite... at all.
Food was pretty good. Biscuits not fresh. No other customers and mobile order not ready after like 13 minutes. And something leaking on lobby floors all.over and stunk
Enjoy the Chicken order, particularly enjoyed the sides we ordered: the cold slaw, dirty rice and green beans. The personnel at the facility are not friendly, almost mechanical in manner of service. Very slow in full filling order. I had to go to another Popeyes to get the cold slaw that my wife truly wanted with the order. The other Popeye location seem to have better quantities available. As stated, the meal was worthy, the staff though almost encourage you not to return to their location.
I regret giving this place another try. Waited in cvs parking lotvas they instructed for 45 minutes. The drive through is a trap. I ended up leaving without my order. I could smell burnt grease from my cvs parking spot. Window service was nice but they just were not making it happen. I did get a refund through the app but making people pull over into the CVS parking lot to wait is a common occurrence and should be eliminated. I really dont see coming back to this location.
Unprofessional and rude. Waited in parking lot of CVS per their instructions and never received food. Had to go inside and request a refund. My order had somehow been forgotten. Just drive further down to the one on Veterans and Clearview. They’re slightly better.
The food was fine, but if you go here be prepared to “pull next door and wait in the CVS parking lot” for them to bring you your food. You will be parked next to about 8 other customers, so expect atleast a 30 minute wait. This was far from “fast” food.
The food was okay. I'm giving 1 star because of the horrible SERVICE. I ordered 12 wings & only received 1 sauce. When I came back in the manager (heavy set black woman) argued with me and wanted to see my receipt for proof of my order. Was totally unfriendly & defensive as if i'm trying to steal 1 freaking pack of ranch sauce.
Only 3 people working in store had to wait 15 minutes for spicy chicken because manager was putting up boxes - ran out of chicken!!!! Seriously
The older African American lady that had the fat cornrows was absolutely horrible. She had one of the worse demeanors. She should not be in the front. Needs to be in the back washing dishes are something- any job far away from the customers. Not only did she handle me horribly but I watched as she handle the prior customers horribly as well (middle eastern man and a Caucasian man) they had pick up orders and they were waiting around and she said to the middle eastern man “what is you waiting for, your food been ready” in the most condescending way possible as she aggressively handled the bags . The man was so embarrassed that he gave a faint smile but you could tell that he was bothered by the interaction. They was very unprofessional, the bathroom was locked and we was given the run-around as to why it was locked stating that It was occupied” but no one was ever in there.
Ordered 3 piece mild tender meal with a coke. I received 3 spicy nuggets with brown water. I will not be back and the employees don’t care.
Every time at 500 pm they have a 20-minute wait on all chicken. Isn't chicken what they sell. Have been here at Walgreens parking lot waiting since 5:10 it's now 5:38 and still waiting!!! 3rd time that this has happened. Only wait because it's on my way to my parents house!!!! Cashier was nice for a change!!! Waiting time is ridiculous!!!!! Thank you for replying! Management at that location must get ready for their 5:00pm rush. For the wait to happen 3 times within a month is an issue. My usual location is Loyola Dr in Kenner. Thank you for at least listening. I hope that next time I stop by the waiting time has improved! It's fast food after all!!!!
This location is a consistent joke throughout the years pertaining to the terrible service, inconsistent product, and management that is non-existent. A few days ago I placed an order via the Popeyes app. After placing an online order the message emailed to me: "Thanks for ordering from Popeyes®! Your order will be ready to be picked up at Popeyes®...." but in order for the crew members to fulfill the order you have to drive to the designated franchise park in the lane for online orders and press a button on the app labeled "I'm here". Not only was my order NOT fulfilled after placing online, there is a large chance it will not be filled even after arriving at the franchise and following instructions. After waiting 20 minutes in the online parking spot only having to call in to the store and explain to the ignorant manager inquiring "did you use the app right?" Yes, and I've waited 20 minutes for something you didn't bother to fulfill. The app is just as useless as the crew. Update 11/09/24 - Ordered a 3 piece dark with fries. An 8 minute wait on fries while the crew smoke cannabis in the drive thru. Finally receive my order, 2 thighs and a leg both thighs were smaller than the drumstick. Avoid this Popeye’s it’s the worst in the area.
This has to be one of the worst encounter ive had at a restaurant in a long time. I went in to the restaurant, and even though there was a cashier behind the counter ,she insisted that I ordered from the kiosk to my dismay as it is something that i hate using, and am not comfortable with using, and even though i voiced my complaint, she still insisted that I do, as it was the only way I could make a order. To make matter's worse I tried to order the fish and fry special that is posted in the front window as well as the drive thru and on the menu board for $5.99 at which point after not being able to find it I was then told by the worker, who's job I'm assuming is to just stand behind the counter, and watch customers order, that it was not a available and that it was only for lent. on continuing to question her, as to why then It is advertised in the window, i was given the same response, as if I was slow " it's for lent, it's no longer available " I asked, then why not take it out the window, at which point I was given a repet of the same answer. I did end up ordering a chicken sandwich even though it wasn't what I went in for. But decided to discard of it for my own safety. As I wasnt sure if they would have, or did anything to my food
I would probably rate it better if I got the chance to have it… Twice I’ve been to this location after work, as it’s the closest. This last time was ridiculous. Not only were the drive-thru workers having too much of a laugh to properly take an order (sounded like they were high - that’s how unprofessional it was), they got everything wrong in the process of ordering, from entree to sides to drink. Once ordered, they waited until we were at the window for a couple minutes to tell us that they were completely out of chicken. The remainder of the chicken was still frozen, somewhere deep in the freezer, and there were no plans to make it tonight. Twice they have run out of food. I give up with this location.
Ordered a tender meal and got nuggets . The cashier was rude and caught an attitude when she wasn't listening. I ordered a 3 piece tender and she got mad when I told her I didn't ask for 5 I asked for the 3 piece. And then gave me 3 nuggets instead of tenders. They "tenders" were less than a inch and a half. Food was barely warm. Horrible. Also need a new cashier who doesn't have an attitude.
I was cheated today: instead of three chicken tenders they gave me two. They make you wait extremely long time there (I had to turn off my car not to waste my gas while waiting 30 minutes with only 2 customers before me). The whole team needs to be changed including their management since they can't solve multiple problems with this location.
This Popeye's location used to be good. Last three times I've been there it's gotten progressively worse. I will drive out of my way and wait in long lines to not have to deal with this particular location again. This is the spicy chicken sandwich that they served me no it is not grilled it is the fried one.
Is was bad. This location Always has bad customer service. The line was really slow. It seems like it could have been faster since they only have drive thru service open. There was no one receiving curb side pick up so they were not busy with them. There were four cars ahead of me when I pulled in. 30 min later I had my order. 30 minutes. The guy at the window was polite. When I arrived home and ready to eat my 4 piece all white which cost extra was 4 wings. If they were out of breast like everything else i could have gotten something different. They didn't have bbq, sweet heat sauce or sweet ice tea. I was so angry about the whole thing I threw it away and had something else to eat. I live close to this store and will go to another Popeyes if I want to have it.
