Love Shack Dfw Airport Reviews
Did not eat here, not a lot of food options on the menu. My cosmo was made SUPER wrong, still able to drink it so that’s fine. FIVE STARS FOR THE PLAYLIST!! The music was great and the bartenders were so friendly.
Was on a layover at E terminal DFW and was hungry for breakfast. As we all know, EVERY restaurant serves breakfast in an airport. Figure it’s all the same but the menus looked good here and it was close. For some insane reason I thought I would try an omelet here. Don’t ask why. Sounded good. My wife got a breakfast taco. Both were great. Like really good. Will go here every time I have an early layover in Dallas.
My gate was close, and I decided to take the crispy chicken sandwich and french fries for a plunge. Low and behold the sandwich was excellent, juicy and the spices were on point. Do note I asked for the clow slaw on the side which may have helped. Fries were also cooked to a golden crisp, no complaints and I would go back in a second, while the staff was helpful and friendly as well.
I’m at DFW airport. The staff is great. The food is in a to go box for the plane. This is a message to the CEO and central office: your manager here, Robert, is a one in a million. It’s clear that his authentic connection with people and his enthusiasm in creating those connections is what is guiding the culture and the feel foods for all the clients. This gentleman is a phenomenal ambassador for your organization. Bonus him generously.
If you are in terminal E you got to try this place. Next to gate E11. Simple menu- old fashioned burgers. I had a Jalisco Smash Margarita and it was yummy. After traveling abroad we were craving American food and we found the jewel. We had the Lover burger with fries and cheese burger as well. Atmosphere was great with some soft music. Prices are just what you expect at an airport. Service was awesome!!
Very good chicken sandwich. Did not get fries, nice that it wasn't bundled. Odd choice to serve it in a paper to go box which made it awkward to eat. Could have used a power plate. I was there at closing, but still had one sip of beer in my glass while it was whisked away.
What I really appreciated about this place was the staff and service. Especially for an airport restaurant, where staff friendliness and good service is rare, I was really appreciative of this restaurant. Secondly, the food was also decent, especially for an airport restaurant; which are typically not terribly good. I had the chicken strips and fries, both of which were well cooked and crispy. This restaurant is much more deserving of a higher score than 3.5 stars.
surprisingly the burger wasn't as bad as expected according to reviews and my first impression walking into this place. patties were decent in size and taste. just do yourself a favor and don't order these chicken tenders. they look and taste like large worms friend in flour. had to give them back. rather fast and skip any meal of the day or multiple days than injecting this into my glorious stomach
“Love” Shack? More like “Hate their customers” Shack! I know the guy working at the cashier doesn’t make the rules but it is incredibly rude to tell someone that they can’t sit down after they’ve ordered (even if it’s a to go order), especially if the order takes 15 minutes. I would have ordered “sit down” (I wasn’t sure it was an option??) if I had known. Feels super disrespectful to tell someone to “wait under the red sign”. 🛑 better to just have clear signage that explains this policy upfront.
After I receive my food and sit down, the server snaps at me telling me I have to get my food and leave. That the tables are for the servers only… there’s a polite way to express restaurant policy to a customer, and that was not it. The check out girl, however, is very kind and polite.
My wife and I were waiting for our flight, so we stop by Love Shack for lunch. It was our first time here. I ordered the Dirty Love Burger. It was missing the Fried Quail Egg, and the patty had no flavor. You literally taste every ingredient added as is. I rate my burger a 2/5. The fries were fluffy, but it got old quick, even with ketchup. Service was attentive and the staff was nice. My wife ordered the Chicken Tenders. 3/5 for the portion size, but the chicken tenders get old very fast (same texture, same flavor, despite being dipped into sauces). Overall experience, I rate it a 2☆. I would not recommend nor will be back.
I waited for my food before a flight long after it was promised. I kept getting told it was next, but never got the food I had to walk away to make my flight. I even tipped an extra $2. This was a complete waist if time and money. $26 down the drain.
I stopped at Love Shack with my boyfriend while waiting for our layover. The food was mediocre but I feel a true good experience comes from customer service. They were extremely rude and not clear with certain “rules” they had for customer seating. After I ordered a meal they wanted us to sit at a table with 3 other strangers and no space to eat. We tried sitting somewhere before this which was apparently off limits and the bartender was extremely rude about it. My boyfriend and I overheard multiple other customers talking about how impolite the servers and staff were.
I was just told to leave immediately after sitting down because I ordered a to-go drink. This was never explained until after I paid. The cashier even questioned whether I was “only getting a drink,” which would have been the perfect time to explain the seating policy. Instead, I was asked to leave after the purchase and ended up abandoning the drink I paid for. Poor communication and poor customer experience.
My friends and I stopped in this previous Sunday after our flight had been delayed for food and a drink. Our server was extremely rude and was demeaning in tone even when she asked for our ID’s. On top of her being extremely rude, she didn’t get my order right and never came back to check in. I understood that they were busy and just ate what I received. I tipped $2 on a $12 tab, because her service and attitude were not great. Today, my credit card notified me that I tipped 32%, which was strange. I looked and she upped my tip to $4. I asked my friends if this happened to them as well, and she did it to all 5 of our checks. So not only was her service extremely poor, but she also stole from her customers. I don’t think I’ve ever left a review, but this was just absolutely ridiculous. Make sure you aren’t getting robbed when you give this place your service!
Stopped in at 6:40p after landing, for a quick to-go burger. They quoted me 15 mins, so I waited. No urgency. I keep hearing I’m the last one of the night before closing at 7p. At 22 minutes, and my Lyft waiting, I asked for a refund. Cook and manager both said it’s almost done. Manager looks at me like “refund or burger” and I said why not both - that’s not good customer service”. He was shocked and so I said I’d take the burger. After another 90 seconds or so, and burger STILL not up, I just walked out - after paying $16 for a double patty burger. Small price to pay to realize I’m NEVER stepping foot in there again. Atmosphere isn’t bad but the staff vibe and service is garbage. Can’t tell you how the burger is
