This place is okay! The chicken we ordered wasn’t oily and was fairly tasty, but the fries and biscuits were below standard. I would suggest ordering just the chicken. Also, the cashier wasn’t very fluent in English, we ordered a family meal with 6 pieces of original chicken and 3 pieces of spicy, but the order came the other way around 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. If I were rating just the chicken, I’d give this place 4 stars.

I've been here many times and loved the spicy classic wings. Today, first time dine-in. They moved across the parking lot. Nice new interior. However, the lady kept refusing to give me a second ranch because they have a limit to only giving out one for each order. "But we only got one ranch, and there are two orders." "Your husband got a bbq sauce too". Wow, shock. Finally, my husband offered to pay for the second ranch, then she gave us the second one for free. I would rather they charge for the second one from the beginning instead of making customers beg for it. Not sure if this rule apply to this location only. And two things were wrong from our order. My husband side order was wrong and my wings were not spicy. The food and the chill strawberry lemonade are decent but too much negative to the experience.

this was my first time trying popeyes! I got the fnaf meal - spicy garlic parm chicken tenders, cheese curds, and a cupcake. it came with ranch for the tenders and marinara sauce for the cheese curds. the chicken tenders honestly didn't have a strong flavor to them... not very spicy or garlic parm-y, save for one piece that got probably 80% of the seasoning. the pieces were big but pretty dry/tough, even with the ranch. the cheese curds had nice breading but didn't taste like much beyond that. the cupcake was super cold for some reason. the cake itself was wet and mushy and the icing was extremely sweet. it looked like it was iced before the cupcake had a chance to cool and then shoved in the fridge like that so it didn't look the most appealing lol. also I asked for a coke in the drive-thru and they gave me sprite. very "meh" experience, mostly went for the collab but don't know if I'd visit again. (delayed review, visit was november 2025)

I like the food but a handful of times I get home and did not receive all of my order. Today I got home and I was missing a 3 piece combo. The time before I was missing fries. Most times I don’t go back to correct my order but today I did. Bottom line, if you go through the drive thru make sure you check your items before driving home.

It sucks that this Popeyes always has the most rude employees and bad service. After 60$ I feel very unsatisfied with how they served the food, treated me, and reacted when i expressed. The Mac and cheese was so runny that it was more like water, they gave so little fries even tho my order was 2 large fries It wasn’t even enough for 3 people the box was very under filled. It’s a shame to not feel satisfied after 60$ and then to be told I can only get 3 sauces in total for 2 orders of 14 piece tender meals and yelling at me to pay for more.

I actually like popeye's. I think it's better than KFC and comparable to Chic-fila. This site, however, was trash. Not only did the representatives not get my order right (forgot sauces and gave me half hot), their communication skills were lacking and they were rude when I had to go inside to ask for some sauce: "we didn't forget anything, did we?... it'll be extra next time." Like I care about paying a couple dollars for some sauce. To top it off, the mac'n'cheese and mashed potatoes were cold. Dont they microwave it? All of the chicken was cold too. Overall, this was a horrible experience. Just go somewhere else.

I’m writing this review cos of my experience today. The food is great. I’ll give it a 5star. Some of the staff are great too at least I had a good experience with one last week when I went to get food. But today the 15th of January, I went to get some food as usual (let me cut to the chase), I go in and this old lady looks like she was going to attend to me so I say hi (like form of greeting and like im here pls come take my order) , she looks at me and ignores me and my greeting, I say hello again, she stares at me, ignores me and moves to the computer, i state my order, she goes to pack it, then places it on the tables, pushes it forward and says “there you go “”and immediately turns her back and moves on to her business. Now I wasn’t looking for a conversation or anything, I just want to get my food and go but she was giving very passive aggressive behavior and her customer service to me was unpleasant. Imagine it was black kid that went to get the food?

Some of the staff are great too at least I had a good experience with one last week when I went to get food. Customer service was really terrible. I went to the drive-through and the lady with the glasses and braces didn’t seem very nice at all when I tried to explain to her my order what I wanted she didn’t understand what I was saying at all I was very polite to her, but she was very rude to me and I didn’t give any attitude back for me to receiving this kind of service if I was able to give no stars, I would and She didn’t give me my receipt. What a terrible disgusting service I won’t be back. To the Dixon Popeyes. And my food was very cold

I was given burnt chicken and went back to get it fixed just to sit outside for 30 minutes after being told my order would be brought out to me in 12 minutes. The manager simply did not care and the workers had no idea I was waiting because she didn’t tell them. Staying away from this location.

I came to the drive thru trying to order some chicken sandwiches but they didn't have it available at the time (understandable, things happen) but the staff was incredibly rude when I was thinking a new order on the spot. no one else was even in the line but she was still trying to rush me. then they forgot the sauce in my order so I went back in and j was treated to another rude experience! she was very condescending when i was just asking for sauce. food is what you expect from Popeyes but staff are absolutely horrible.

No napkins, no ketchup, no straws, sandwich missing from the order If your not eating in open the bag even when the It's in the bag sticker is on there. Very disappointing Eat in would have been fine you could pop back up to the counter. No convenient with 15 minute drive squeezed in for lunch.

Very unprofessional for a young female manager. Continued arguing while the line was getting long and no one in the back jumped in to help. Even worse, my order was wrong when I got home and you have to ask for straws and napkins as everything is behind the counter.

If I could give a zero to this place I would. I tried calling several times today and my husband too and no one answers. We ordered 3 combos and one of the combos the fries were not there. We were so disappointed and will not be returning to this location again. No wonder why it has low ratings. Customer service sucks.

Drive thru disappointment. Repeated order several times. 12 pc chicken only. Classic mild NOT spicy. Ordered Fried pickle. Read back to me. Corrected. At the windows- no fried pickles on the check. Different person brought [ condiment type ] cold pickles, saying," hey, it's free.." 20 minutes to get home - 12 pieces of SPICY !!! Sorry, I don't recommend. Communication problem with whomever was taking the order.

Last time in here the chicken tenders was like rubber waited 10 minutes for apple pie was cold asked fir extra gravy that didn't happen no manager at all they just don't pay attention and never seen so many employees just look so miserable im done here just wow take some pride old locations was great now just like ever other pre packed food. Just take some kind of pride serving your old food also apple pie fried i. Same grease as chicken wowowow

We were passing through Dixon on our way home and stopped to get the chicken tenders family meal. We got home with our food and they gave us the regular chicken. I was so disappointed because I really wanted the chicken tenders. I’m not sure how they got the two mixed up.
