Tastes amazing, every time we get the ceviche pescado and it is wonderful. Will have to try other things!
Great food. Me and my family will be back. They have many options.
The food was delicious. The portions were good too. The Trio Marino was amazing.
Food is delicious. Excellent service. Highly recommend the Trio Marino & Lomo Saltado!
Kitchen feels a bit slow Waitress/cashier does a good job
Food is very good so far. One of the better Peruvian restaurants in the Kearny area. Their menus which are like the weekday specials are unique and delicious. The hours are inconsistent, several times they have been closed when they should have been open. Like tonight at 5pm on a Friday is weird. Although this is a pattern I notice with Peruvian restaurants, they just close whenever they feel like.
Don't know why they charge 6.666% sales tax. That's seems scummy. But the food is decent. Paterson still have the best peruivan restaurants
If you eat in the restaurant, the food is good but be careful with the take out. Bought 2 pork tamales and the tamales were not only mushy but no pork inside, not edible at all.
And yes, it was a long time waiting for our food. My food was good. Beef, white rice , red onions & beans. And my chicken soup was good, too. But my mom's food, churrasco, beef not properly cooked. Mom was not able to cut it with ur knife 🔪 at all. We asked for beef soup and got pig feet 🐾 soup. I have no need to lie. My mom asked the lady and she said it was chancho 🐖🐷 feet not beef. And we made sure we both asked for beef feet soup. I wish I would of remember to take a picture of the pig feet soup.I asked the lady, jack of all trades, to bring my mom chicken soup and she said they had no more. And on top of all that I got charged $20 for mom's food & $10 for my when I asked for the menu. Ur place was highly recommended to us. No more. Patterson will be next to go dine in & Santa Barbara on Mt. Prospect Avenue Newark NJ
Too salty with everything , rice was dry and seemed undercooked, potato was too hard , but the sweet potato was made much better, the meat portion of my meal was OK. Fairly delicious but a bit salty for my taste. There is salt on the table for me to add because you can't take it away when done. Desert was decent. You can perhaps save your $ on this one and just go down the road for the style yet better quality food , at the same price.
I was really excited to try this place, but after seating for 20 minutes and no one came to give us the menu or to offer any drinks, it look that the same person that take the orders was also cooking the other people food, got tired of waiting and left… Must hire people to give a better costumer service.
Found a piece of glass / solid in our food. Told the waiter, she didn’t even say sorry about that, she just took it and walked away, food is almost never hot, it’s warm, not fresh, and probably frozen. Filthy place overall.
Unfortunately, this Peruvian restaurant falls to the stereotypical disappointment expectations of hispanic food: legit cuisine, but it's dirty. The entrance floor and rug were visibly dirty. Empty tables were not wiped cleaned well. To be fair, it was our first time trying this place and it was good Friday, so I don't know if they were understaff because of that, but cleaningness should be a priority no matter what. It looked like their was only one person handling the cashier and waitressing in this small location. Still, being considerate of that, i would still say the service was terrible. We sat at our table first, and then an older peruvian guy showed up and placed his order up front. She should have attended us first or at least handed us the menu. There were two other tables with customers who were already eating. The waiter then started to attend them. She goes back to the kitchen after speaking with a lady and returns to keep attending the older gentlemen. The lady then gets up and goes to the counter for whatever else. Theirs no control or manners here. Neither by the customers nor waiter. We left after 10min of not even being greeted. This is unfortunately very common in legit and "home vibes" kinds of hispanic restaurants. All that to say, don't expect professional service here. If you're OK with that, hopefully the cleaningness was a one off and your meal turns out well, but personally, when eating out, service is everything to me so won't be returning here. P.S. Parking is terrible! You pay for parking on the main street as well and it's coins only
