I am devastated our Red Robin is closing. Thank you for an amazing 20plus years. Even on your last days open, the staff and supervisors/management went above and beyond all hands on deck. We will miss Red Robin and wish everyone working there the very best on their next endeavors. Thanks for the memories..
I ordered catering from this location and it was nothing short of amazing. The service provided by Joshua Tipp (our driver) was wonderful! He was so helpful and accommodating. Joshua made sure that all of our items were labeled and presented correctly for our guest (I will provide pictures of the set up when the photographer sends them over). We even thought that we did not receive an item within our order and he was more than willing to supply us with the items that we needed. All of our attendees enjoyed the food that was provided too. If we have another event, I will definitely suggest using the catering services again.
Had a great experience at Red Robin today! The food was fresh, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. I especially want to thank Mo, the manager — he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Super friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about his guests. If every restaurant had a manager like Mo, eating out would always be this enjoyable. Definitely coming back!
08/2025 THANK YOU Red Robin!! Finally a $10 meal with burger fries and drink!!! I will be back as often as I can! Now please open a new location in Paramus, NJ. We already lost the one near the Bergen mall and lost the Secaucus location as well. If you keep closing locations, I will have nowhere to buy Red Robin meals. This Clifton location is a bit too far for to visit weekly. There is now free wifi but with no Internet connection? Not sure what that is all about? Cell connection is near zero on T-Mobile inside here. 12/24/2022 ************ Please open a location in Paramus NJ again! You are the best, but Clifton is over an hour drive from me so I can only eat here once or twice a year instead of 15x per month in Paramus NJ. I spoke with the manager today and told him about this and the zero cellphone signal at this location. He said he would pass my concerns to upper management. The old Paramus location failed due to it being hidden from the highway. Almost nobody knew it was there. Needs to be inside a mall, in a mall parking lot where it is viewable to shoppers, or on a highway. ... 09/20/2022 STILL NO FREE WIFI AFTER MORE THAN 1 YEAR! cellphone data speed & reception here is super weak, so it is crucial to provide free wifi to the guests, especially since service wait times can vary greatly at this location. My sister Gina and I have been to this particular Red Robin a few times before and the whole trip has always been good as far as the delicious food and the overall service but I wanted to write a review about our experience today in order to officially give credit where credit is most definitely due. First off, thank you kindly to Ryan for being an attentive, personable and congenial server because not everybody walks that walk nowadays and thank you very kindly to Moe as well for being one of those exemplary restaurant managers who truly cares about his customers especially when it comes to honoring whatever ought to be honored to thoroughly ensure the best dining experience possible. Now if that wasn't already enough positive energy in and of itself, let me tell you folks that the food was seriously on point today as well. Everything from the perfectly fried pickles and that absolutely tasty dipping sauce, not to mention my Whiskey River Barbecue Burger cooked up just the right amount of medium accompanied by those luscious Garlic Fries that I have been dying to try if I weren't always ordering the perpetually slammin' Onion Rings that my sister had with her delicious looking California Chicken Sandwich without bacon and cheddar instead of Swiss. Even my Jack and Coke was mixed just right by whoever was tending bar at the time. Honestly I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and the people who make it a totally worthwhile and welcoming place to dine therefore I am going to rein myself in and bring my unsolicited testimonial to a close by saying thank you again for everything and next time around I really want to try the Banzai Burger. This is an ok restaurant. The staff are friendly and kind. The food here is well priced i must say...my only problem with the food is that its too greasy. It was good...but just too much grease in my opinion. All and all i can recommend it to anyone who likes different burgers, as this is a burger spot. UPDATE... So i went back here for my sons Graduation dinner and i must say the food was definitely better than last time i was there. I got the same exact food as last time...The Monster Burger with fries and the boneless chicken bites and none of the food had grease dripping from it. It was definitely a big change that made me giv this place 5 stars!
Nice place. Enjoyed their burgers. Bottomless fries was a comforting perk. They have other refillable sides as well on their menu so its work a visit. Staff was friendly. Found a seat fast at 530pm.
The food quality has really gone down. I used to go here often. I went last month and was super disappointed. Food came out cold, it happens but the broccoli came out to the table black. I wasnt going to say anything but the manager happened to check in with us and I brought it up. He seemed to think the broccoli was totally fine like that and proceeded to offer fries. He brought a basket basically empty with the bottom of the batch type crumbs.
My last experience at Red Robin was at a different location on a rainy summer Friday, so they were slammed and the service reflected that - I would never rate a restaurant under those circumstances, and I figured this time (after work, nice weather, empty parking lot) was definitely going to be better than that. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. There were only a few other occupied tables but it seemed like closing time based on how little attention we got from our server, who I won’t name but couldn’t even be bothered to come back once to ask how we were doing. I had requested a condiment that wasn’t on the table and I was basically done with my food before she brought it. I ordered dessert through the tablet, which came surprisingly quickly, and when she brought it she asked who it was for but when I said thank you she dropped it in front of another guest at the table. Two stars because the food was good and the bathroom was clean.
Myself and my wife visited this on a not so busy Tuesday. We sat at the table for 15 mins and no one attended us. We had to ask a server from another table to help us get a server assigned to our table. The food was alright but the overall service doesn’t feel welcoming. Me and my wife have visited this Red Robin more than 5 times so far but this is the first time we had such a bad experience.
I went with my family for my wife’s birthday. The food was less than appetizing and service was slow. When it came time to pay the tab they gave me someone else’s & my son paid. The server hands me two more tabs ( one was mine the other was my son’s that we THOUGHT was his)to be paid. They didn’t take off her free burger until I brought it to his attention. THEN the manager was no help and had an I don’t give a crap attitude with us. This is the 3rd strike for this place in Clifton. THE MOST HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! The date of this was Saturday night November 8th so you know how recent this is!!! HORRIBLE!!!!
I just picked up a take out order and the milkshake I ordered is half full. I ask a worker why, he says “I don’t know, one second” then goes back to the kitchen. Manager comes out a few moments later and says they ran out of ice cream in the back. Doesn’t say anything else, as if it was ok that I paid for a full milkshake and received half of one. No refund for the drink. No offer for anything else to drink. Nothing. Terrible customer service. Being also in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, it’s disappointing to experience first hand the downfall of a restaurant/brand. And especially to write such a review. But honestly it is what it is. Do better.
I haven't been to a Red Robin in a long time but I decided to take my kids here tonight. It was awful from start to finish. The whole floor was sticky from the front door to the back of the restaurant. There was a 15-30 min wait but the restaurant was half empty. The table we sat at was also sticky. The service was terrible and slow. We were barely check on. My daughter's water tasted like chemicals. The burgers and fries came out cold. I will not go here again.
Just be aware.. I asked for jalapeños on my burger, they brought on a separate plastic container with 2 slices of fresh jalapeños yes 2 slices and they charge $2.39.. And don't touch the Screen that its on your table. We went thru to see what App's they had and got charged $2.99 . Not going back soon anyways...😡
