Sodam Dublin Reviews
Best mochi I've ever had (they call them sweet ricecakes). Very reasonable price — 8 for $6.50, filled with red bean. Their fishcake with soup is great. Would hit the spot even more if we had it on a cold day. Their gimbap is solid with generous portions of meat. Their tteokboki is not too spicy or sweet, but we wish it could be a little more al dente. They also have a great selection of ready to eat soups, dishes, and banchans in their refrigerator section.
It was our first time trying out this Korean restaurant. The atmosphere felt like we were in Korea. The food was very good with great service. The bathroom was clean which was very nice.
The ttaebokki is amazing! They make the rice cakes and it’s so tender and the sauce is not too spicy and sweet as well. I also love the jimpap especially the fishcake one it compliments the ttaebokki well. The staff is sweet and the service is very quick. Popular but underrated spot. Best ttaebokki I’ve had in Bay Area. :))
This place is a gem if you like Korean food at home. There are lots of sides and soups, you can buy jajangmein topping and just boil some noodles at home and pour that on top. You can buy beef bone soup and add rice, noodles and sliced beef to make sullangtong. I will definitely come back.
Tteokbokki (spicy) rice cake, kimbap, kimchi, and shikye (the best ive ever had, love the slushy consistency) Hidden gem in dublin for sure. Must go for fast and delicious korean bites🥰
OMG. Injeolmi dduk. Fresh injeolmi dduk. Local. Yes. This is what I've been looking for! The also serve coffee, some quick Korean dishes amd a variety of other rice cakes. They have a refrigerator full of marinated meats, kimchi and side dishes ready for purchase.
Very good Korean snack shop. Lots to choose from and quick service.
Sodam good!!! Honestly did enjoy picking up some food from here. Tried most of the basics- stir fried fish cakes, couple kimbaps, chicken wings, tteokbokki, kimchi... their gochujang based sauces have a nice kick to them and I was loving the flavor. One thing that would be nice is if their items had a bit more included i.e., fish cakes is just that- stir fried with green/ onion would be great too! The shop is very cozy with a tiny dining area as well as takeout. And overall the place functions as a small restaurant/ mini-market for Korean goodies. Loved the friendly and prompt service and design of this place.

Delicious food at a great price will definitely be back and have the coffee from Korea which is amazing!!
Stopped by today since I was in the area and craving Korean food. The Gimbap was amazing! I got the beef Gumbap and they were made fresh! Also the spicy wings and the Japchae were amazing! Mos def got my Korean food fix. Will return!
Hole in wall mini Korean mart with homemade side dishes and other key basics. Fresh rice cake and Korean street food. Having been to Korea 5 times and lived in Ktown, my kids and I crave this authentic shop. Nothing fancy. Just the basics and good street food
Great atmosphere. Fantastic ready to eat food also hot food is available. Highly recommend the Ttoekbokki!
What to get: Gimbap I've tried every flavor and they are all good. My favorite is fishcake. Gobo is similar but just less roll. Dumplings. Be sure to ask for either the meat/veggie/kimchi dumplings This place is one of those locally owned small businesses by authentic people. I come in here and I hear Korean hellos and thank you. It's great for takeaway but there is a small area for dine in for the desserts and prepared food like Tteoboki and soup. This place gives a great feel for Korean street food. I go here every week for lunch. It's affordable. It's fast. And most importantly it's delicious. This is the standard for me in regards to Gimbap.
Wow this place was delicious. I have never tried Korean food and the lovely cashier recommended Gimbap. I also tried the chicken wings and they were tasty. Lastly, I tried the vegetable and kimchi dumplings and they were pretty good.
I ordered kimbap and tteokbokki at very low prices. The lady at the counter gave us an extra kimbap too. There are a lot of banchan and Korean snacks for sale here as well.

Very cool place I did not know existed. It a small family owned Korean market/restaurant that offer meal take out. You can order you favorites Korean dishes and cook at home. The prices are reasonable and food was Good.
Convenient place to grab n go for lunch! There’s a good selection of Korean food here, there’s kimchi fried rice, kim bap, rice cakes, fried chicken, banchan & Korean desserts! I really liked the kimchi fried rice and Kim bap! The minimum for credit card is $10! Plenty of seating there too if you wanna eat there.
They have a variety of different banchans and Korean street food. It’s a tiny store but has lots of items for a Korean meal
Definitely a hidden gem in the city. Very affordable Korean snacks, side dishes, rice roll and pancake. You can’t ask for more cuz it’s so good.
A nice mom-and-pop Korean cafe/market with friendly service. The menu for items to order include different types of kimbap, rice cakes, a very tasty fish cake soup dish, some dessert, and two drinks. I bought the fish cake kimbap, spicy fish cake banchan, japchae, and the fish cake soup (all but the soup was already premade and ready to grab); the total was around $20 and I loved everything I bought! There was a decent amount of seating, but most of the store is grab and go. There was an impressive amount of dessert, including rice cakes, that I'll have to try out next time.
