Forgot to take pictures. It's really a nice place to eat. We can one long ago about 5 years. The food is fresh. Had the biscuits and freshly made. It's reasonable in prices. T
All my food was so delicious 😋thank you all the workers there keep doing a great job job 👍🙌
We were passing through and food was good and prices were too.
Great food. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.
Even on New Years this place can keep up, no wait ! We love this place homemade country style cooking from breakfast to dinner ! Enjoy the Tall Texas breakfast you will not need lunch once you have this plate ! Restrooms are clean and wait staff is friendly ! Happy New Year ! 2025 !!!!!
I came here a couple times 11 months ago, and I walked in this morning, and the hostess remembered me 😊 she even gave me a hug 🤗 I felt like I was walking into my own home with the warm welcome 😁 I had the eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast, coffee and water to drink. Waitstaff are fast and friendly! The restaurant itself is clean and in order! The food is always good 👍🏻💙 I will continue to keep this as a stop I make every time I am in town. 💙
I had a bad feeling when I saw the exterior and or the interior. The paintings on the wall are about to loose the little of the color once they had. I saw some exposed wires on the front counter where the cash register is (maybe not). I order a rib eye steak and mash potatoes. Plate came with just that and a thick piece of bread with lots of butter. No vegetables or any other thing next to my steak. It was the best steak I ever had. Tender, juice, thick and for a moment I though I was eating a piece of ham. I will definitely will come back to this place whenever I pass by Eagle Pass. I don't live anywhere near this place but they know what they are doing when it comes to cooking a steak.
Our waitress was very friendly.... Enjoyed our visit
Good food. Service not that good. Breakfast good tho. Recommend.
My go to for Sunday morning breakfast. Always good.
it was all really good, even the Ice & water was very clean & good. the waitress was pleasant & good too. I got the double cheeseburger meal with onion rings. as a deprived truck driver, I say Thank You restaurant for being there.
Every Friday I always have breakfast at either a Denny’s or IHOP. There weren’t any in Eagle Pass so I had to settle for Skillets. I wasn’t disappointed, I ordered the Tall Texan. It was good size , food was great. I prefer my pancakes fluffier but overall I was content. I will be returning.
Good for what it is, something easy and fast to eat before taking the road
My family and I ate breakfast at this place August 12, 2023 the food tasted like it’s been sitting in the freezer way pass it’s time. My T-bone steak tasted old and the texture of the meat didn’t feel like meat, the hashbrowns had a weird smell and taste as if they were in the freezer past its time as well The only thing that tasted good and new was the over medium eggs and toast overall we did not finish our breakfast. My server was good.. I don’t know this place is still in service..
Had gone here for lunch and there was 2 other customers in the entire diner. One server.. and what looked like one cook. Slow day I’m assuming but it still took 20 min to get our drinks after we placed the order, and then an hour and a half for 3 burgers and a chicken Caesar salad. The burgers were said, the toppings were sad. There was ABSOLUTLEY no love shown to the food.. I’ve gotten better service from a concession stand at a football game, don’t waste your time or money you’ll just leave mad
