Tensai Sushi Eagle Pass Reviews
This restaurant has Great Food, and Great Customer Service. I was very please with each dish we were served. Our waiter had awsome recommendations! Our table and the restrooms were clean. We had a wonderful dinner with prompt service in a nice and comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to All the Staff that made our evening Amazing.
Overall a good place. Getting our food and our drinks took a little longer than the normal but the waiter was very nice. Made up for the time. I ordered several rolls to them all. Very good place.
Overall, the sushi was okay. Nothing special. It lacked a lot of flavor- we had to drown our rolls in soy sauce. The water tasted funny and the sweet tea was overly sweet. We had to pour half of my water into the sweet tea to make it drinkable. The price is fine for the amount of food you get, however I would recommend H-E-B sushi for the flavor. The service was awesome; the ladies were sweet. The atmosphere was cute. I would recommend it for a day out and about. The restaurant was nothing memorable, but it was nothing to shabby!
I haven't gone to that place in years, and we decided to go again just to realize that food flavor and quality has gone down. Our yakisoba looked like it had been in the window for some time until they had all our order ( appetizer, 3 sushi dishes, and the yakisoba). The service was not the best, our server, while friendly, server was forgetful. It was not a really busy time, and they had ran out of forks, we got plastic ones ( not a big deal for me). Server also almost never checked our table or got us reffils until food arrive. Overall it has gone down
Overall, we were very disappointed with our dining experience. We ordered 3 different sushi rolls and all of them had no flavor, they did not taste bad, however, they were just blah. Even soy sauce could not make a difference. But the worst part of our experience was the foul and raunchy music they had blasting inside. Listening to loud, vulgar-filled music was highly inappropriate. All of the wait staff was young so I'm guessing it was their choice of music to play throughout the restaurant. This was definitely not enjoyable and we would never return.
I asked for a sashimi and half of my plate was covered in ice, just 6 pcs of assorted proteins
My server was really nice. But my food was completely awful. We went there by the recommendation of a local person that has eaten there his entire life. The rice was mushy and the sushi just was not prepared properly. The seasonings were off and honestly it just wasn't enjoyable Japanese meal.
The food is decent, the tables are always dirty. When you walk in it smells like dirty rag. The condiments they give you are also dirty with fruit flies flying over them. The food and hospitality is good but overall the little things is what can make this place better.
the girls at the front, never answer the phone. sometimes they even disconnect the phone so won't receive orders. hire people that DO want to work. or not so immature. when i go inside to pick up my order, theres like 5 girls at the register, talking, laughing. I have to wait till one of the girls remembers they're clock in.
Everything is extremely over priced for what amounts to be just rice. The place is smelly. The carpet is always dirty. Staff is always lazy and not friendly. Food is always cold. Service is always slow no matter the amount of people. Not authentic whatsoever. Portions are too small for the cost. Chairs are uncomfortable and restrooms are always dirty. Overall a terrible atmosphere and a great place to have a terrible time. If I could give it a negative score I would. Whomever runs the place should be ashamed to even call themselves a professional. A disgrace to the culinary arts. It's a blunder how the place is still open and a disrespect to the community. Customers should do themselves a favor and never go there twice in their life time. I would rather eat a cup ramon than waste my hard earned money at such a disappointment of a establishment.
Very disappointed with the food. Ordered it to go and most of the meat and vegetables was just vegetables. Opened the container to find that most of the meat was just on top and the bottom half (3/4) was just vegetables and juice. The white rice wasn't any better,it had no flavor and was very starchy, honestly wouldn't recommend going there.
