The best curry I had in Bay Area. We had their to-go a few months ago and it was delicious and we wanted to dine in and eat even more fresh. We had Chicken Thali, Lamb Curry and Steamed Chicken Momo. We loved all. I had Thali that comes with variety of curries on a plate. I chose chicken for the protein and absolutely amazing taste. Well I love chicken in any form so it didn’t bothered me. But can be challenging for some folks who don’t like bone in meat. It actually makes the curry taste better because the bone makes the broth tho. Servers were very attentive and sweet. This place will be a part of our local routine stops.

We loved everything here especially their mustang aloo and beef chilli. Spice level is also perfect. The server was very friendly and nice. We will definitely be back again!

I drove here all the way from Dublin and it was worth it. The food is closer to the authentic nepalese food. Parking - Plenty available in front of the restaurant in a shared parking for the strip mall Ambience - Nothing fancy, quaint and unassuming place in a strip mall Cost - $20-30 dollars per person for an appetizer and an entrée Food Review: (All Vegetarian) Momos - 10 pieces in a plate with thin outer shell served with two sauces and pickled daikon radish and carrots. Better momo than most other places in the Bay Area Nimki/Papad Chat - Really good, took me back to streets of Nepal. Spice level can be customized. Crispy, hot and spicy with a tangy kick Thali - Looked exactly like the Nepalese Thakali. Looked very appetizing but I did not try it. Will update the review on my next visit Masala Chai - Yummy KTM Lemonade - Mildly favored lemonade with Jaljeera

Very attentive staff and service. Some of the items are unique and authentic to Nepali. I definitely recommend trying Nepali food in this family owned restaurant.

The fried rice with the Gobi Manchurian tasted delicious and a fantastic pairing. Samosa chaat was delightfully tangy and the chilli momos were saucy and flavorful. The spice level customizations are carefully done - the mild offered no teary eyes and the medium had a kick to it. The Nepal ice beer was light and crisp. Portion sizes were huge and we had leftovers over 1-2 more meals. If you'd like to avoid leftovers and are moderately hungry, share a fried rice and an entree to pair it with. Service was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back for more!

It was delicious. The spice level is customizable. So, request them to make it mild, medium or extra spicy 🥵. We went for mild and it was just perfect for us. It was Tuesday evening not so crowded 🤟, we started with veg pakora which tasted amazing. Next thing was samosas; so flavorful. We then had Jhol Chicken Momos. It was perfect. We had lamb kebabs, Chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and Kima naan. Oh! FYI, kima naan is made out of lamb meat. All of them tested just perfect. Next time I will go for Nepali Thali set. Overall, Food and service were both amazing. Recommended to everyone.

A nice little locals only Himalayan restaurant tucked into an unassuming strip mall, the food and service at Little Kathmandu are both absolutely stellar. I can't say enough good things about this place. Our server, Dawa, took fantastic care of us and everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Very tasty chicken chhoila set and nice veggie biryani. Informal strip-mall setting for dining in, not fancy but pleasant. Fast and friendly service. Seems to do a lot of takeout. We will definitely be back.

We had pani puri, dahi puri, wai wai sadeko, and the goat thali, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pani puri was fresh and flavorful, the dahi puri was perfectly balanced and creamy, and the wai wai sadeko had the right amount of spice and tang. The goat thali was the highlight rich in flavor, well-cooked, and very satisfying. Overall, the food tasted authentic and fresh, and the experience was excellent. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely back

This is genuinely one of my favorite restaurants in the East Bay! There are a ton of great vegetarian/vegan options, and the flavor and spice is perfection! Simple/cozy set up in the restaurant, and options for delivery/pick up. Very friendly staff too! 10/10!

We ordered vegetarian food from this restaurant for an event at the nearby temple, and everything was excellent. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. Food could be hit or miss! Out of all the dishes, Chana Masala was the only dish we enjoyed. Laphing was too spicy and lacked that distinct flavor. Poori was just too oily and little under-cooked. Couldn’t complain about Keema Naan and Lachha Paratha. The big disappointment was chicken Biryani. Mushy rice and lack of biryani flavor. Had to wait over half an hour considering there was only one table whose food was already out. Overall, average food this time but have heard good things about Little Kathmandu. Consistency would give them better chance of competing with so many Nepalese restaurants popping all over bay area.

Little Kathmandu! Felt like I'm in NEPAL! After several attempt I got to eat here.. they closed on Sunday. Cozy restaurant with good food! I loved their gobi Manchurian as starter* perfectly cooked crunchy and crispy and great sauce 5*/5. Got to come back for that! And other I loved their chicken thakali* perfect spiced up, get the mild spicy of you can handle chilli! great taste served with their homemade Nepali mula pickle and kheer*an dessert awesome taste 5* for that!

Came here on a quiet Sat afternoon. There were a few take out but I'm the only dine in, so food come within 10-15mins. The staff is kind and gave me recommendations. Never had the puff before so I decided to give it a try. It's fun but I wouldn't say it's tasty. The steam chicken momo is decent but with the yellow curry-like sauce 👌 overall I would come back

One of the more expensive Indian restaurants for takeout and the Indian food was hugely disappointing. Ordered Vindaloo, Aloo Gobi and both were incredibly watery without much flavour. The potatoes were only just about cooked and they removed vegetable samosas from the order, presumably ran out. A real shame.

Been here today for the first time. Order Samosa, jhol momo (dumpling with soup) goat bhutan( intestines). Samosa was oily and flavorless, it’s fine if you don’t prefer a lot of flavor. But the real disappointment was momo and bhutan. I regretted momo with the very first bite. I can taste chicken and it’s not tasty at all soup is fine. Couldn’t finish it same with bhutan, feels not well cooked couldn’t eat it at all.
