If you like boba you will like this but be mindful that some tea tastes like perfume i.e. Mango Jasmine tea. I was not a fan it was a strong perfume tastes to this but other than that this is a great place. Not their fault just not my cup of tea so have an open mind if you want to explore beyond your flavors.

We had the Mango Passion Fruit Green Tea, Iron Goddess Teaspresso, and a Thai alcoholic drink. All were fantastic. The last two being milk based and the first was more fruit forward. I highly recommend all three. Great atmosphere with a nice place both inside and outside to chill and have either a normal tea or an alcoholic tea (which yes was uniquely delicious)! Go try something different! The staff is really helpful with the recommendations, so don't hesitate to ask!

First of all, the atmosphere is so positive and radiant, the customer service is EXCELLENT!!! I felt helped, appreciated, welcomed and I highly appreciate that & will be coming back! I got the matcha latte with boba which was recommended to me and WOW IT IS AMAZING!! This matcha reminds me of back when I was traveling Asia! Great product! I love it! Keep being awesome! Definitely bring your service here! You won’t regret it!

We love boba and this place is probably the best I’ve had yet. The matcha had a very smooth flavor and my mom enjoyed the passion fruit smoothie. 100% recommend!

So much fun coming and getting a drink here. Today I got the Tea-Spresso Milk Tea with Iron Goddess tea and cameralized brown sugar boba. Dude this thing was just pure goodness!

Love the drinks especially the rose tea, the employees are welcoming and the Owner. I highly recommend coming to this place. Please get their Rose tea 50% sweet and extra Crystal boba. That is the Top tier drink to get . Love their Okinawa Milk Tea with boba too.

I recently went to boba with my son it was my first time trying boba! Angel the barista was really helpful and suggested a good drink. I'm ready to go back for more. The drinks were great, atmosphere is pretty cool and the service was also great!

None the less this place has a good location and the employee was very cordial, I got the Taro boba tea because to me that's a basic drink that you can't get wrong, but the drink to me imo compared to every other boba place I've gotten the taro from seemed a little watered down. I don't know if that's just how they make it or if perhaps the drink wasn't made right on accident or something, but I would call it a Taro Lite if there's such a thing. Good place all in all, oh and there was some couch inside which was cool, but they had some stains on them, I'd get those taken care of asap. Drink wasn't as costly as I thought it was gonna be either so that is a plus

Second time visiting Rare Tea, the tea is very good, the boba pearls are nice, soft, warm and delicious. They also serve pastries, which are very good, but at $5 macaron they are pricey. My only complain was the service today. They were very busy, and understood that our order was going to take awhile. Sure enough, it took awhile, but what was infuriating was that 3 orders that were taken after us were served before me. Mine wasn't a big order that would warrant such a delay. Not very happy with how it was handled. My kids enjoyed it, but returning would be questionable

As a boba enthusiast, you can imagine how excited I was to try one of the very FEW boba tea places in EP! With a somewhat broad menu of drinks and sweets to choose from.. I couldn’t wait to put in my order and take a sip. I ordered a classic fruit tea with aloe vera, and some of their oh-so famous black sugar boba (YUM). However, I was informed 15 minutes into waiting, that they were out of their boba. (No option to wait however long for them to make more) I waited another 15 minutes (two guests ahead of me) only for my drink to get mixed up with someone else’s order and then given back to me. HIGHLY disappointing, considering none of the staff apologized for the inconvenience. I understand boba tea is still a fairly new concept to the city, but customer service should be prioritized universally. Overall, if you’re achin’ for a boba cravin’ you might want to explore other options before giving this place a gander. If you don’t mind the wait, and just looking for a cute place to pass time, this may be the place for you.

The drinks are small and over priced. Not worth the wait. The manager called us after and offered a 50% off coupon and put all the blame on the poor guys working. No thank you. There are plenty of other local businesses to support.

First and last time we go to this place , the older “manager” at the front was supper rude with my family and I, he seemed in a very bad mood. He did not wanted to be there. He did not want to explain the ingredients on any of the teas or coffees definitely not a way to treat a first time costumers also they didn’t have most ingredients.

Another time I went in they were having a 50% off deal that I had seen on they’re instagram that only lasted that one day so I went and got some and when I got my receipt I noticed they charged me full price so when I went to go ask about the deal the owner went up and told me that I was supposed to mention the special when I ordered but that he would go back and give me the partial refund for the special so I left and looked back at the post and it said nothing about mentioning it when you order but I gave it a few weeks and checked my bank account and I did not get the partial refund back.
