A Tea Moment El Segundo Reviews
The tea is great! Got a lychee green tea with coconut jelly and it had two whole lychee fruit in it. Also got a taro with boba. The boba was yummy—didn’t notice the brown sugar mostly just yummy boba. Definitely come back for the tea. We got less sweet for both and it was perfect. The cheesecake costs a lot for how small it is. Delicious but pretty tiny. I was expecting small from the pictures and it was even smaller than that. Went back again and got a strawberry crepe and that was really good. It was crispy and fresh. Strawberries were fresh. Chocolate was yummy. The cold crepe was also delicious. And tried the shave ice. Its got an amazing texture that turns to ice cream in your mouth. I’m definitely getting more of those as a dessert item.
Delicious Boba teas and coffee drinks. Staff is super helpful. The place is really clean and nice to sit in while enjoying a drink.

My favorite boba shop in the area south of Sawtelle! Love the house vanilla milk tea and love being able to order online ahead of time for a quick pickup.
Consistent and delicious! Thai milk tea is always my go-to. The store is small but service has always been quick and reasonable even on busy days. The staff is always nice. The claw machines always have cute and fun plushies. Great place!
This place was hard to find! Google maps kept directing us to cut through the restaurant alley instead of using the front door...I bought the shaved ice Thai tea and it was so good! Super refreshing for a hot day and had the perfect consistency. I will say I was mildly disappointed in how much I got considering the advertisement for it was in a bigger cup, but still good nonetheless.
What are the tubs in the drink prep area? Wow actual tea leaves! This def sets this place apart from other boba shops! Using brewed is always better than premixed powder and water! Great little gem of a spot in DT El Segundo!
The house milk tea is delicious and the boba is cooked to perfection, but reduce the sugar if you're sensitive to sweetness.
We went there at the first opening and it wasn’t the best but since then they’ve grown their menu and improved. I really liked my drink I had today and I’d take a pic but I already finished it!
Tried the strawberry matcha, dragon fruit soda, and Jasmine milk tea. All were delicious. Glad I tried this place out

Orders made quickly. Ordered Strawberry milk, Brown Sugar Boba, Coconut Mango Paradise, and the new flavor, Banana Milk. Just a few tables and chairs to sit inside and outside. Street parking or parking lot behind the store

I’ve gotten the lychee jasmine green tea with coconut jelly a few times here. It does the trick on a hot day and I want a refreshing drink, but honestly the tea tastes watered down and the coconut jelly are kind of lacking in flavor. I did see that they offer red bean for their drinks, which is cool and I feel like I don’t see that all too often! This place is super cute though and the employees are friendly and make the drinks pretty quickly :)

Great tasting teas and boba! The only reason it’s a 3/5 is because it seems unfair to charge customers for less ice or no ice. See photo. I have never seen this. Kids love the non tea drinks but sometimes no ice. Seems very petty. Less Ice = 50 cents more No ice = 75 cents more Hilarious so my thought is they have to add more milk or product to make up for the loss of ice. But have you ever asked yourself as a customer or store owner your adding tons of ice and charging and giving limited product? Pros Amazing tasting teas Well made Tons of variety Cons No oolong Charges extra for less ice, no ice Would I return ? Yes - but only if I don’t have to order no ice. lol 🤣
It's a very cute place with a good grip on its aesthetic. They have a wide range of drinks with varying flavor profiles. I had the Thai tea lemonade, and I did not like it. I just don't think it's a pleasant flavor, not that they made it poorly. It does seem a little boring(?). They have those tablet ordering kiosks and then there's a small window where they give you the drink; It feels like it's missing an element of humanity that would bring comfort and make me want to go again.
It is a cute boba shop that is self-order. The kiosk is pretty small and the whole shop is small so it gets crowded if there's a line to order and wait for drinks. The aesthetic is cute but the drinks were okay but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here for boba as there are other places that has a better flavor profile and stronger tea flavor if that's what you like. I got myself a House Milk Tea, which is the Barley Vanilla. It was too sweet for my liking and I got it at 50% already. I do like that they serve novelty items and crepes, which maybe I'll order if I am in the area again.

taro matcha tea with strawberry boba
Very cute shop and lovely staff! The tea was nothing special and my main reason for giving 3 stars is the boba balls were cold/not fresh so they were almost hard to bite into. A good quality boba uses fresh hot boba balls that are squishy to bite into. I hope they take my feedback into consideration and I’d be glad to return!

I drink boba multiple times a week… this was not it. The boba itself is overly chewy and not sweet. It’s definitely not homemade and if it is, this was not a good batch
I had a brown sugar milk tea and tasted like those boba kits you buy at Walmart and make it at home. Super cute place, but the tea was low quality, not exactly bad, but nothing compared to other boba places.
The tea is good, staff is friendly HOWEVER; the first time I went I thought to myself, that's a lot of ice in that cup. The second time I tried for no ice ($2 upcharge) or less ice (.75 cent) upcharge. So essentially they admit that they pad the drinks with a ton of ice. Ridiculous. A large tea with boba and no ice is closer to $10 than I'd like to spend again.

Only have 1 terminal to buy a drink. God forbid you’re behind a number of kids who can’t decide between popping boba flavor. You’ll be waiting FOREVER
