Their veggie bowl is my go to food at Chipotle. Being Vegetarian is not always so easy when it comes to eating out. The El Segundo location is my favorite spot. Manager Maritza is very nice and professional. Server John is the highlight of the place.
OMG YUM! I ate it all in 10 min because of how good it was. Also, if you get food poisoning from the food( which I've been hearing a lot of) you are probably elergic to something you ate. It's not their fault.
I went on 12/27/2016 around 7PM and the service was beyond amazing! The line worker was very helpful. The Cashier was extremely fast pace and had a great sense of enthusiasm/personality and he had a great sense of Humor!! The food was extremely delicious and worth every dime. Overall, I Strongly Recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good food and great personalities.

My food was great!! I had left my purse there, and called and spoke with Jessie. A great guy. He had just came in and notice someone was getting ready to take off with it and he stopped them. He held it for me until I got there, which took me 2 hours, and nothing was taken out!! So grateful for the restaurant!!
Food was good quality, and the service was spot on. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh. My bowl was amazing, the amount of food you can get loaded in it is astounding for the price nowadays. They have food for all diet restrictions, mine being keto. All in all a great place, the parking can be wonkey but you can't fault them for that.
I don’t normally leave reviews for a fast food type of chain but this specific location had an amazing staff the night I rolled in pretty late to a nearby hotel and starving, them being open past 1am was absolutely clutch. Along with it being open super late the staff and I laughed it up some about some sports talk and my native city and the bowl they built me was an unforgettable one and at 275lbs I couldn’t even finish it. Jessy, Aidan, Josue, Cece were in house and each and every one of them kept the place lively and while nearing close you didn’t feel them agitated or rushing you out and allowed me to stay inside and eat comfortably. Super cool staff and anytime I’m here again I’ll make sure to drop in and show them love.
I was on a work trip, and I knew what to expect from Chipotle. The tacos I ordered were delicious. This will be my "go to" Chipotle when I'm in the area.
Always busy, but delicious food. I have very specific dietary restrictions, and aside from a little more salt than I'd prefer, I can eat here and not be bothered, which can be a real feat sometimes. They are also very conveniently located with plenty of stores around to fulfill all your shopping needs.
Loved our experience. We came and was served by Aldo. I haven't been to a chipotle for 15 years, was very concerned especially since the ecoli outbreak that got many people sick and killed a few. Aldo understood, stopped what he was doing, stayed very calm and continuously comforted me by asking the chef if the lettuce were washed and let me know how the lettuce was washed. He went WAAAY ABOVE and beyond customer service. He's awesome and super kind! Thank you for being wonderful!
The staff were warm and welcoming. I ordered my usual chicken bowl, and the counter person was kind enough to offer a taste of the steak so I could determine if I liked it for my next visit. I thought that was going above and beyond! Tasty as always!

Management here is top-notch. I work nearby and walk here for lunch all the time and it's always a great experience. The food is always fresh and quickly served. This is probably one of the best Chipotle locations in SoCal.
I love this chipotle because they open up at 10:00 am in the morning. I typically eat early in the day so this one is perfect. If you get there at 11:00 am there will be a huge line so show up early if you want to skip it. Also, please do everyone a favor and know what you are going to order before you get up to the person asking you your order. They should have a rule at Chipotle that if you get to the front of the line and do not know what you are going to order you dont get to eat there for that day.
Chicken was cooked to hardness and my son wouldn't eat it. Refunded his items without question. We go to Chipotle's all over the place while traveling and the cooking error is unusual.
Love Chipotle and their variant of Mexican food. This location is up to par with Chipotle standards but collocated with Hamburger Habit on a small lot next to a busy business hub. You can guess what a joy it is to find a parking spot during the weekday lunchtime rush if you're driving here. Plan accordingly and have a Plan B if you can't find a spot.
Expect it to be busy and double check if they have all items you're looking to order. Other than stock, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have patience as they make the menu items as some people in line were not as gracious when ordering.

Always know exactly what we’re getting. Fast and consistent and tastes reasonably good on the nights when takeout is preferable to cooking or expensive dine-in options. Tortilla chips were not as good as usual though, not sure why.
I had a plain barbacoa burrito that was almost half the size I'm used to and almost double the price. I'm glad they lowered the sodium content, so it was a bit tastier for sure.
We ordered via Uber Eats, it was my first time having chipotle so I ordered the burrito with everything, the quality of the food was delicious. Carnitas tasted like Mexican Carnitas and all of the ingredients were very fresh. It was so good. I almost finished the whole thing. I did not enjoy paying such a high price for a burrito, cost benefit. I don’t think measures up to my expectations. It seems very expensive for a bean, rice, and meat burrito, even though it was delicious.
Despite regular dishes that's offered at every Chipotle, the one thing that made me give low ratings were service (during non peak hours) ... Quiet below standards, rushed and run of the mill. Then one of the staff started cleaning the floors knowing customers were sitting right there and the dust was all over the place in no time.
On several occasions, I chose to order Burrito Bowls using Uber Eats, and I picked them up. Both times, either the Barbacoa was at least 60% fat and gristle or the Steak was mostly missing. Of course, I didn't discover this until I made it home. DON'T USE PRE-ORDER, just go and watch your food being assembled, OR take the time, make a mess, and check it before leaving the store.

Very bad service, Servers are extremely Rude. Bought 4 Veggie Bowls servers could not hear me so I thought maybe its just me but they could not even hear my sister so we tried to show her what i wanted and she rudely replied do not put ur hands above the glass which i understand as that might contaminate the food but then she should she able to hear what we are trying to order. Also I asked for extra corn on side which they didnt provide so i asked again which still they didnt provide. they provided only when asked for it 4 times. Except for couple tables everything was neat so no complains on that also the food was great as well which I expect from Chipotle. My Order No. was 113.
The restaurant was clean! line was short, BUT...i shouldn't have to ask the person making my order to change their gloves after i watched them brush food particles off the counter top with the same gloves they just made the customer ahead of me order with.. maybe im allergic to whatever it was they ordered.. OTHER than that thanks for your great customer service.
Chipotle is normally spot on but I feel like the last two times I have been to this location they have been light on toppings. About half or less the amount of steak I would normally get. Maybe Covid is hitting this place hard but you don't help matters (in my opinion) by cutting back on ingredients. I am hoping these were isolated incidents but if I go back again and see the same, I'll probably start thinking about other options in the area.
Order a salad with no rice and beans, ask for extra lettuce. He doesn’t listen and asks rice or beans. And didn’t give more lettuce. Then doesn’t provide dressing. Don’t give a receipt. Go to fill up drink and they are out if it, go ask for it, takes a while. No apology for the wait. No service at this place!
The place was messy and not so organised unlike most fast food chain. Fortunately the food was good especially the chicken. Lots of parking space. The location and setup is good but needs better management of the staff for cleanliness.
Three steak taco chalk full of gristle. Either some kind of "engineered" beef or just the cheapest cut I have ever had. Not one bite was honest steak. Every bite was stringy rubber that I did not swallow. If I ever return I will for sure buy chicken.
My experience has always been positive at Chipotle. I have never been served such a tiny portion of chicken as I was served today. When I asked for just a little more chicken, the response was harshly stated I would have to pay more. Perhaps next time will be better.
Food was fine, but service was not good. I ordered my food ahead and arrived at the promised pickup time. After waiting 20 minutes and being told over and over more bags are coming, I was finally told "Oh, we made your food, someone must have taken it." When I asked if they would make it again as I obviously haven't picked it up, the girl told me "Well, we made it." She then went and got a manager, who basically told me the same thing. It wasn't until I threatened to charge back that he finally consented to make a new meal. There are a ton of other choices nearby. I will not return.
FYI they are out of large cups, so they’ll sell you a small. Then when you walk over to get drinks all the soda and drink machines are out of order. Would avoid this location in future. There is a nicer one on Artesia.
God forbid someone show up near closing time. They refused to get more food out and told myself and 5 other customers to pick from what was out and that was it.
Just know that if you are using the catering options...the amount of food is not nearly enough for the number of people Chipotle says it is supposed to feed. I am really lucky all 15 people did not show up to my work event or some would not have had lunch. I was a bit frustrated and completely shocked at the small amount of food provided for the nearly FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS... $400... I paid...kind of outrageous. I couldn't believe it and even called to honestly ask if the delivery guy forgot a box at the store?!! Which, by the way -- you cannot get anyone to answer at the store....not happening. I tried the 1-800 # in my order confirmation email, but good luck getting a human...no matter what you say to the bot -- it keeps referring you to the website to leave feedback or report problems (no, pressing 0 ten times doesn't work) -- it took me about 20 minutes until I finally found a catering line/option/human assistance -- then they end up just calling the local store while you wait on hold 15 mins 🤦♀️again, local store never answered. I was then transferred to a feedback department where the lady reviewed my order and explained the size of the containers that are included with the catering option for x15 - which is not anywhere on the website when you order - so you have no idea what to expect. Abundant amount of lettuce, no problem. I'd say you only get about 8-10oz of veggie toppings for whole group! And the "30oz containers" that the meat comes in? Noooo where near '30 oz' of anything - container was not even close to half full. Will say if you add on the 3-bags-of-chips-package for $58 😏 ya do get enough salsa and sour cream for an army. Food was fine I guess, at least fresh. Just sharing this so you are not as utterly shocked as I am at the small amount of food for a group catering order that costs an arm and a leg. Dear Corporate Chipotle -- please reconsider being more realistic in the amount of food you advertise for your catering options... either include more food for the outrageous price so everyone can actually eat!!! Or, reduce the numbers you claim it will feed. I would say -- AT BEST -- your order for 15 people is more appropriate for 8-9 tops.
It's the usual mini scoop of food for a kid for each adult meal. They charge double for a decent amount, and staff is usually taking their time given they're paid hourly so no rush for them luckily. I've been ignored for 5 min so they can laugh with each other, but which place doesn't now a days?? Lol.
Every Chipotle is different. They are franchised. Stay away from this one!!! They give you the smallest portions possible. Then they give you attitude when you ask for more. The girl gave me the one pinch of meat, and I asked for a little more. She said, "You get charged for double.". I said I just want the normal portion. She grabbed a tiny bit more and said, "There, that's normal." So she knew what she was doing. I pulled out my phone to snap a pic, but then she saw me and dumped a huge pile of in drained salsa on top of it. So now I have a soggy mess. The one one Rosecrans is way better and so close.
Haven't been to Chipotle in a long time because of all of their problems with people getting sick and now I think I understand why. The man serving me was touching everything with his gloved hands. When I said to him what's the point of wearing gloves if you're touching everything. He said without gloves he would be touching the food with his bare hands. I pointed out that it's the same if you're touching everything with gloves, he insisted on arguing with me. Hopefully this meal won't make me sick.
I’ve been to many Chipotle locations and this is by far the worst. The food is incredibly bland, the portions are very small and the employees are rude! To make things worse, I got food poisoning after eating here. Definitely would not recommend this location
Just go to any other location but this one. The presentation of the food is very poor. I asked for “green salsa” (I couldn’t identify the the green salsa because it was not green) and the food preparer pointed to salsa that obviously wasn’t fresh 🤢. I told him to omit the salsa. I ordered chicken tacos. They were hella fuxxn salty. Just go to another location.

Very long wait to order on a Sunday. The worst part was I got sick immediately after eating with a horrible stomach ache, then nausea. When I arrived home , the vomiting began. Not a good experience! 🥲
Chipotle Corporate, I called and got a horrible, eerie robot voice. I pressed 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 9 in a sadly feeble attempt to bypass the robot that finally said store employees don't take phone calls. HORRIBLE BEYOND WORDS!!!
I've heard so many people raving about Chipotle, oh is so good, it's bomb. They must have never eaten authentic Mexican food, before, because this food has no favor to it, at all, it is bland and you could use a real Mexican cook to teach Chipotle's a thing or two. And where's the Mexican rice, since when do we use white rice? I won't be patronizing this white washed place again. What a waste of money, for some want to be Mexican food. Very disappointing.
This place gave me food poisoning. I ordered online and when I arrived I saw that they were basically selling scraps and had very little food left. Had I walked in to order in person, I would have left upon seeing what they were serving. Anyway, I took my food and ate it. 3 hours later, middle of the night, I woke up extremely sick (I’ll spare you the details). I was sick for the entire following day. This location is trash.
Stopped-in at 9pm last night looking to get a burrito bowl. The meats and fajita veggies looked dry and cold, all items were in really bad shape, and the food prep area was filthy. I enjoy Chipotle every so often, but this was food poisoning just waiting to happen. Disappointed and shocked management allows things to get so bad. Some locations are better than others of course, but this was over the top. Skip the clear risk of getting sick and go elsewhere.
The beef that they are working with is totally hard to bite. I thought it is cow beef. Not steer. But the price for that kind of food is very expensive. The location is beautiful and clean. The chairs are uncomfortable. I really do not recommend at all. You do not eat quality beef. But pay as well.
Hands down one of the worst run chipotles in Los Angeles. Always understaffed which then turns into staff rushing to get people out the door and constantly underserving. Place is a joke
Firstly, I understand portion control, however the amount of chicken I was given was far below acceptable. Secondly, the rice was very undercooked making it a very unpleasant experienced as it ruined my whole chicken bowl. You should check your food for quality before you serve it to customers. Lastly, the drinks machine poured out watered down drinks. Serious work needs to be done. As a repeat chipotle customer I have never been so disappointed with my food.
Employees working at grill and prep area were making rude jokes about people with mental disabilities. Appeared to be making fun of someone. Very wrong, immature and inappropriate. Food prep was sloppy.
Rude staff, food quality looks old whenever I go there. They are more concerned with masks then the quality of food, seems kind of funny. Even more funny is trying to pay hourly employees to implement these outrageous mandates, it only causes division not inclusion.
Came in at 8pm — well before closing. Stood at the counter for a few minutes while the employees talked and moved their equipment around…finally asked if they were still open when one of the employees replied “yeah, there’s only one person”. Looked around at the four people working and said okay. Stood there a few more minutes before someone finally asked what they could get for us…only to find out that burritos were not optional since they were cleaning the machine. Terrible customer service and every worse restaurant etiquette as they had cleaning products sitting on the equipment housing the open food container. Negative stars.

I’m convinced this is the worst chipotle location in the entire country. The worst service, worst management, bathrooms filthy, skimping on every single ingredient. Used to be good but has gone severely downhill. Avoid this Chipotle at all costs.
The food is okay here. It is just a chipotle. Basic. Simple. Sadly, the seating areas were covered with bits of food from previous customers. The forks and spoons were all about. With only near-empty bottles of hot sauce. It doesn’t seem to be a problem of the staff not caring or failing to do the job of taking care of the restaurant as much as it is that only messy, rude and gross people come here to eat. At first, I thought, “This place is a mess! They need to clean this place up!” But after seeing some middle-aged “Bro-Dad” make a mess at his table with his wife and kids, I just realized that this is how people in this part of town treat working class restaurant employees. They just want to make a mess and force the Restaurant-Serfs to come out clean up their messy tables. It stinks because I witnessed two employees come out and clean off a table and then have two people come and eat at those tables, only to make another terrible mess. Do yourself a favor and skip this location. It seems to be a “Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach People “ problem.
Disappointing experience today at this location (el segudo). Food service area was filthy. We had to clean our table before eating. No Ice in the fountain drink station. Trash cans over flowing with trash. Bathrooms a total mess. Honestly I could go on...I asked to speak to the manager, she looked up at me briefly said nothing and ignored my attempt to speak with her. Iv been coming to this location for years and have never seen the restaurant in this condition. I will think twice before taking my family to eat there again.

Can’t believe how dirty it was in this location. Bathrooms were a mess , the food counter where we were served from was a mess , the employees were nice, but looked exhausted, they didn’t know their product. I asked if the mesquite steak had spice in it and they said no and I could barely eat it , there was so much heat in it. Can’t believe how successful this chain is and how the multiple locations I’ve gone to are so filthy … Come on people. We spent $65usd on 2 meals , we gotta be able to clean up a bit ?
Very stingy with the meat. I thought the first couple of times was a fluke but it's the norm at this location. They give you baby scoops and force you to get double meat if you actually want to taste meat in your bowl. My kids go to school down the street so this location is convenient.-update : tried this location again today and was utterly disappointed again. Tiny meat portions. I am done with this location. Prices are outrageous for less food.
I came 3 hours before closing and they were out of barbacoa. The meat I did get was a tiny portion so I paid to get more. Then I go to eat and the meat is STALE. How long does steak and chicken have to sit in the tray to go rubbery? Essentially, I paid $23 for chips and a bowl of salsa rice. And for that reason I'm out 🦈
If I could give zero stars I would. Instant food poisoning from this location. No reason for it to have me bent over a toilet throwing up during my travel time, because someone either didn’t wash their hands AND/OR had major cross contamination.
Literally the slowest, most incompetent employees. It’s Sunday, middle of the day, and there are only two girls working the line. The line is wrapped around the building and one girl decides to mindlessly leave and stock the napkins and forks. Taking her sweet time as people build up at the register looking around. The other girl just shrugs her shoulders and keeps putting together food at a snails pace. Talk about the lowest tier work level. Good luck being successful in life. Easiest job on planet earth and they can’t seem to manage it. Chipotle, do better.
All around disappointed in the quality of food we got this evening. - Side of chips were stale and old - Steak and carnitas were not fresh - Cheese sticking together and tasted old - In general all the ingredients were noticeably old, not tasting or looking good
Extremely rude and lazy employees working here. I ordered in the app for mobile pick up for a certain time, and when I got there at that time I didn’t see my food on the shelves. So after giving them a few minutes, I decided to (kindly!) ask one of the workers if he knew if my order was ready because the app didn’t even show that it was being prepared. At first he just stared at me blankly, and then rudely suggested I “ask that guy” (another employee) despite the fact that he was currently doing nothing and there was no line. Really awful customer service; made me feel like I was inconveniencing him to ask a simple question. I don’t normally leave bad reviews and I’m by no means a Karen! But this interaction really soured my mood. Train the employees in customer service better at this location.
Totally dirty and with zero cleaning on the tables, was there with a friend and there was not a single one table that was clean, besides several were empty. I think it should be a to go place. Bad management.
Every time I go the guacamole has brown spots, the lettuce is barely fresh and tastes like it’s about to go bad. There’s almost always something out or broken from the quesadilla machine broke to being out of chips to tables being dirty. To the off taste in the beans and rice that lack flavor compared to other locations
Remember when Chipotle was a value stop. Burritos as big as a football. Nope, not anymore. They’ve cut back considerably these past couple of years and only jacked up the prices. They half scoop everything. It’s a hard pass for me now a days. Lots of other choices available
Chipotle has gone downhill over the years. The beef is almost always overcooked, and the quality just isn’t there anymore. On top of that, they’re charging a ridiculous amount for avocado now, even though it used to be included in the bowl or wrap. For what they charged me, you could literally buy an entire bag of avocados at the grocery store. It just feels like you’re paying more and getting less every time.
My order was incorrect. I did not receive what I ordered, and the items I received were overly salty and spicy, making them inedible for me. This meal is not what I paid for. incorrect items/order.

Company ordered food from here, every single order had undercooked hard rice , all the food had to be tossed in the trash and I got 0 response from chipotle regarding this matter.
DO NOT EAT HERE. I got severe food poisoning on Sunday night. I grabbed a quick bowl (chicken, black beans, salsa, lettuce) around 8:45pm before a 14-hour flight. Biggest mistake ever. Two hours into the flight, I started vomiting. And it didn't stop. I was stuck in that awful airplane bathroom for TEN HOURS. I lost count after getting sick 8 times. The flight crew had to help me with an oxygen tank and meds. Asking doctor on plane to volunteer for injections. It was the most humiliating and painful experience of my life. I landed with a high fever and was stopped to continue my journey. I know 100% it was this meal. My husband and friends ate the exact same things I did all day except for this Chipotle stop. They were fine. I was the only one who ate here and I was the only one who got deathly ill. I'm still recovering. I can't even look at salsa anymore without feeling sick. Not to mention, they were slow in service compared to other Chipotle.
Last night, August 4, 2025, I waited in a long line at Chipotle in El Segundo with not enough employees making meals for customers. I finally got my chance to order food and there was NO SALAD DRESSING. I LEFT CHIPOTLE AND BOUGHT FOOD AT TACO BELL!
Leaving this review because I only received a half order of my bowl. I ordered for pickup on my way to work, service was exceptional when I walked in, but I get to work, sit down to eat and the bowl is so poorly thrown together and only half full. Seems like because I ordered to go, they decided to significantly reduce the portion sizes. Won’t be back here again!
I placed a catering order with Chipotle that was supposed to include three meats. Only two were delivered. I may not be an expert in identifying every type of meat by sight—but I can count to three. Unfortunately, it seems their manager can’t. Update: Yeah - I’m not going to reach out to your customer care service. The amount of time we would have to waste on this from our side is not worth it. I just won’t recommend you guys for our corporate events again. Consider yourselves blacklisted.
Chipotle seemed to be understaffed in the front… maybe in general. Ordered for pick up but ate inside and they did me very dirty with the portion amount. Cashier service was not welcoming but very understandable. Only 1 cashier and 1 making the orders so I get the stress. Men’s restroom stunk so bad as well.
Around 3:45 PM today, I ordered a bowl with rice, chicken, fajitas, and lettuce. The guy helping me was very polite and respectful. However, when I asked for fresh chicken before he served it, another employee in the back—who was cutting fresh chicken—rudely said, “The old chicken has to be finished first, only then we’ll serve the new, fresh one.” I was absolutely shocked. I told him I’ve worked at Chipotle before, and that the customer’s request should come first. I simply wanted fresh chicken. He flat-out refused. When I asked for his name, he declined to give it to me. That level of disrespect and arrogance is completely unacceptable and something I’ve never experienced at Chipotle before. It was offensive, disappointing, and frankly outrageous.
This chipotle has consistently been just hit or miss. Had some good experiences, and some negative ones (not the cleanest, occasionally skimps on portions, more so than other locations, gets extremely busy during lunch/dinner times given its proximity to offices). For this experience, I was trying to redeem a reward, but the app was having issues (which central customer support later acknowledged as well), long story short, my points disappeared. I did this all in front of the cashier. Occasional app issues are understandable. However, the main point was that the cashier/manager next to her was incredibly unsympathetic and unhelpful in resolving this, looking at me as if I was trying to cheat the company out of $3. Are you serious? I’m not complaining about having to pay an extra $3, but how I was simply dismissed, given how much I’ve spent at the restaurant over the years. Way to reward loyalty. In any case, this experience was quite negative and given how this particular restaurant was always quite hit or miss, I won’t be going back. A good example of a proper quick and easy restaurant, The Kebab Shop, is just across the street. I just wanted to mention them out because they are similar to Chipotle and they’ve had much more consistent good quality every time I’ve gone. There’s also a decent In N Out a block away. I’d avoid this chipotle if you don’t feel like gambling.
Well I just got my lunch but when I ordered the chips with queso blanco.. they only filled half the cup with the cheese.. I don’t think it’s fair that they do that. I could see if it was requested “on the side” when they want it on top of their food.. but I paid for the chips with chips.. the usually fill the guacamole to the top..
