We had a great time here. The jazz music is always sensational. We had Caesar salad wedge salad oysters which were amazing scallops delicious crab fried rice absolutely amazing. !!!

We had a wonderful dinner here. Everything was delicious, views (was overcast but still beautiful) and service amazing! Only negative was scallops came out a little cold. Everyone else’s food was perfect, my steak melted in my mouth. We started with an assortment of oysters, all delicious! We also ordered the truffled mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts. Ended with bananas foster butter cake and espresso martinis. It was a great evening.

I had a long layover at LAX while returning from an international trip and decided to treat myself to a solo birthday dinner. I was looking for a place with a great local vibe, good food, and live music—and Eddie V’s delivered on all fronts and more. When the staff casually asked if I was celebrating anything special, I mentioned that my birthday was coming up in a few days. To my surprise, they decorated my table and even prepared a handwritten birthday card. The live jazz was exceptional—performed by experienced musicians covering a wide range of modern and classic jazz across genres and eras. The atmosphere was lively yet refined. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was warm, thoughtful, and welcoming. As a woman dining solo, I especially appreciated how gracious and attentive the service was—it made me feel completely at ease and genuinely celebrated. To top it all off, they surprised me with a birthday dessert: a beautifully presented Bananas Foster, theatrically flamed tableside. It was both elegant and exciting, a perfect blend of experience and taste, and the perfect way to start my birthday. I highly recommend Eddie V’s Prime Seafood for any occasion—and especially for solo diners looking for an elevated and memorable experience. Well yesterday I went to Eddie V’s for the 1st time to celebrate my Sista’s Girlfriends of over 50 years of friendship birthdays 🥳🎂🥂 I had been told it was a really nice upscale restaurant so I was excited! The ambiance was amazing once we walked inside it was very nice white lien’s on all the tables and with a beautiful ceiling high glass wine cellars 🍷too amazing 🤩 Our waiter Victor was very helpful, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about our menu choices. Victor greeted us with a smile and had great hospitality and suggestions. We tried a few delicious food items and appetizers off the menu. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. We tried the Filet Mignon Steak 🥩 Medallions cover with succulent Shrimp 🍤 Scampi and Cherry Tomatoes and thin slices of red onion in lemon 🍋 butter 🧈 wine sauce it was mouthwatering so delicious 😋 One friend had the delicious Chilean Sea Bass in a miso sauce on a bed of mashed potatoes with a buttery garlic sauce yummy. Another friend had the Parmesan Crusted Sole fish cooked perfectly. They had Oysters 🦪 for their appetizers and I was told they were delicious 😋 but I’ll have to take their word for it because I have not got my nerve up to taste them 😂 Our Cocktails 🍸 were refreshing and delicious. The Happy Birthday presentation Victor performed for my friends was amazing 🥳 When Victor poured the rum over the banana 🍌 foster butter cake 🍰 and lit it the flames 🔥 were amazing 🤩 Our visit was delightful and our Waiter Victor should be applauded for his hospitality and customer service he was outstanding!!! Thank you Victor 🥰 I will definitely be back with my husband 😉

Perfect birthday celebration at Eddie V’s El Segundo. Absolutely agree that from beginning to end, the service was top notch! Our server Nathan & crew are truly amazing. We had the JL Colombo Rose and Eddie V’s Smoked Old Fashioned. 22oz Bone/In Ribeye bad 18oz NY Strip and kids meal were prepared as requested & to perfection. Delicious Lobster Tacos and Sides (creamy mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, Truffle Mac, roasted carrots). Celebration Dessert and Crème Brûlée were so good! Long stem Roses for the ladies truly charming! Overall, Eddie V’s is the upscale seafood & steak restaurant to dine in the South Bay Area!

Took the hubs in a date night. This place came highly recommended and the hubs is into seafood. Very happy with the experience. Chill and elevated atmosphere with some fun art pieces. Nathan our server was fantastic! Very kind and helpful! Seafood towers was bomb.com. The oysters, tuna, crap and shrimp were the highlights. The lobster was a bit tough but ok. The salad as and calamari were also good but next time I’d just have the tower. The smoked old fashion was fun! Mango mule was enjoyed by the hubs. This version of bananas foster was the best I ever had. The butter cake was insanely delicious! The lemon tart was delightful, creamy, smooth and tart/bright!

Great food! Excellent service! My wife reserved it for my belated birthday celebration. We used the validated free self park next door. Business casual attire was unnecessary given how other customers were dressed. We were greeted warmly at the door and then at the front desk. Nice booth by the window in the restaurant. White clothed table had bday confetti and a bday card from the restaurant team!! Our excellent waiter, Nathan, greeted us warmly, explained the menu, and came back with 2 small flutes of excellent celebratory italian sparkling wine! These touches put us in a bday party mood already!! Our order: crab cake, filet mignon + scallops, salmon, truflle mac n cheese and glass of stags cabernet. Best crab cake we ever had...lumps of pure crab meat big enough for two! The lux filet was done a bit under medium, charred right, optimally seasoned with just salt and pepper and the best I ever had to date. The scallops were juicy! Good amount of truffle slices on the rich, cheesy mac...had to take home most of it. In between, manager Megan stopped by with yummy bruschetta bites...silky rich balsamic stood out. Full stomach by then and so passed on dessert! But Nathan surprised us with an ending bday treat...icing on the cake🙂!! Got to taste mini banana foster butter cake flambed at the table, small dollop of rasperry sherbet and two double chocolate cookies...so good that we made room and wiped the plate clean!! We highly recommend the place. Ask for Nathan if you can! By the way, the full menu is available in the huge bar area also, plus with 3 person jazz band and an outdoor terrace!

My family and I came for a birthday dinner and we absolutely loved all of the food. I had their special for the day and I don't remember the name but it was a steak wrapped in bacon, sitting in an amazing sauce, topped with grilled shrimp, crispy onions, and drizzled with more sauce. Everything was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. We also had their truffled Mac and Cheese for an appetizer and it was lovely. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and a lot of that was because of the amazing stuff. The staff was so nice and did everything they could to make sure my family and my 1 year old were comfortable and had everything we needed. They would come by to interact with my son and kept him smiling. They even brought him fruit and milk, and made accommodations to make sure there was soft food for him to eat. We definitely enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in trying out the food.

Went there with 10 men for our annual dinner. Place is very comfortable and appealing. Ordered every app. The wagu pot stickers not worth the money. The yellowtail was 100% delish. Salads very good. Dinner was delish. The center cut filet is very very good, while the Australia lobster is just not worth the money. I have had it many times here and just not that good. They should switch to South African or maine lobster. The crab cakes are one of the best and the crab rice was delish. They messed up my friends dinner by bringing out the wrong steak and had to go back and make a ribeye, we were all done with dinner and his steak arrived. In a place like this and a 3800 bill that shouldn’t have happened. He packed it up and left it on the bus by mistake and there went a 100 bucks out the window. Very disappointing and embarrassing for me. They should have at minimum minimum comped his ribey. Oh by the way the filet is wayyyyy better then the ribeye.

Door man was annoying asking for hats off and coffee being poured out that was in a personal coffee cup. But I get it, for the vibes! Then Kevin jumped in as our waiter and things turned around. The manager brought a treat to start from the chef. The oysters, sea bass and steak were all the rave with our group. They were super accommodating with one person needing to eat and leave early. Food was paced well, tasted amazing and the service was spot on. Remembering our names and using them throughout the night was a nice personal touch. Really good spot for a nice dinner. I went last night 01/04/26 to celebrate my birthday: The food was really good and well prepared. However, I was disappointed with the overall experience. The host never asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, so I made sure to mention to our waiter that it was my birthday, yet there was no acknowledgment at all. What made it more noticeable was seeing another guest at the bar receive a special birthday gesture. Considering this is not a cheap restaurant, I was expecting more in terms of service and attention for the price. The food itself was enjoyable, but consistency and guest experience could definitely be improved. I felt a very disappointed.

I visited this establishment once before around 5 PM, enjoying drinks, conversations, and a very pleasant ambiance. Everything seemed just right. Recently, I attended a birthday celebration here, and I'll skip to the essentials. There were six of us, and unfortunately, the food service was slow. Additionally, each component after the initial order was charged separately, which wasn't very clear upfront. My ribeye steak, priced at $76, was disappointingly tough—not what I expected for the money. Overall, the prices were extraordinarily high. It's like buying bottled water: $2-3 in a supermarket, $6-7 at a bar, $9-10 on a plane—the cost varies based on location, and the same logic applies here. For six people, the total bill came to $995, which breaks down to $166 per person, with an automatic tip included. Some of the food was excellent; however, the drinks, although well-prepared, seemed slightly different from what was described. Having a particular knowledge of drinks, I noticed the discrepancy in ingredients, which might go unnoticed by others. The ribeye steak failed to meet my expectations, but the potatoes were delicious, and my drink was enjoyable. Ultimately, satisfaction here hinges on your expectations and taste, though, admittedly, the cost was rather shocking. Regular patrons likely know what to expect. My review isn't entirely negative or positive; it's a balanced reflection of my second visit. While some elements shone bright, they aren't compelling me to return soon.
