BBQ Nite Elmont Reviews
The food here is excellent. I got catering here sometime ago during the holidays and it was a hit. Genuinely high quality Pakistani food that is made to order.
very delicious food ran by very nice staff, i always get the zinger burger and masala fries. i am a regular here now, 10/10 would recommend 👍👍
I recently stopped by BBQ Nite in Elmont and tried the Zinger Burger, Mix Over Rice, and the Mix Grill. The food overall was really good — the Zinger Burger was the standout, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Mix Over Rice was solid as well, great portion and taste. The only downside was the Mix Grill. It took over 45 minutes to come out, and by then I had already finished my other food. I ended up having to take it to go, and it just didn’t hit the same as it would have fresh at the table. Overall, the food is definitely worth trying, especially the Zinger Burger, but I’d recommend going when you’re not in a rush since some items can take a while.
Assalamu Alaikum, Tonight’s dinner was absolutely amazing! Especially the chicken biryani, wings, and nuggets — everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. This is truly one of the best restaurants for Pakistani halal food. My family, friends, and I really enjoyed the experience. The staff, especially the ones at the counter, were very friendly, welcoming, and provided special attention and excellent service. InshaAllah, we will definitely visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!
I've heard a lot about this place & seen some videos on YouTube about them. The BBQ flavors are very delicious here. We had the beef cheesesteak, zinger burgers, achaari chicken, chicken makhni, seekh kabab & naan. The Zinger burgers were something else. The BBQ flavors were really robust in the burgers. The naan are huge. They are very fairly priced. All our food came out to only $60. There is no table service. Getting beverages, forks/spoons, or napkins is all self-service. They have a free small parking lot that they share with the restaurant next door, which is convenient. Spots may fill up quickly, but wait a few minutes, and a spot will open up. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody.
My gosh this spot is amazing….travelled all the way from Connecticut...the food was delicious and authentic in taste…so fresh…we ordered their specialty zinger burger it was so juicy …white karahi, nihari, qeema, garlic naans, seekh kabab and chicken Bihari was so tender…qeema naans were soft like candy floss…never had such delicious naans…the staff was very diligent and courteous…we packed some more to go too…will love to visit this place again highly recommended
Home of the famous Zinger Burger! Cheap but very good food for its price. The chicken maakni/butter chicken is one of the better ones I've ever had. Make sure to try it with the cheese naan, which is also quite good. Additionally, the Zinger Burger is famous for a reason - fried in a tasty batter, served with lettuce, cheese, and tomato on a sesame bun. Always a great experience here!
Food was really nice, especially The, chickpeas, and lamb chops rice pudding was very nice
The in laws are regulars here but it was my first time trying this place in 5 years. The last experience was not great. I did not try the food (zinger burger) but had walked in here after Jummah prayers, because of which it was rather busy. This did not put me off however, it was the sticky floors and the rather 'unclean' environment. Much better this time round though. That being said, food was all to take out. The food - Butter Chicken is the go-to for the family. Not for me, not spicy enough but they love it so 5/5. Goat/Meat Korma - Not for the family but i loved this. More like the deghi gosht back in the UK. 5/5 Keema - big let down. Way too many whole masalas in the food. Ended up biting into whole laung/laachis multiple times so completely put me off. Naans were decent - again, family swear by their naans but i felt they were nowhere near as good as we get in the uk. Decent but felt a little stodgy. 3.5/5 Zinger burger. For the kids. Took a bite and it was a standard chicken fillet. Kids ate all their burgers however so cant complain. 4/5 I didnt realise there was chutney in the bag but the brother gave us extra anyway so thanks for that. It was however a little too much on the watery side, otherwise ok.
I’ve been a regular at this BBQ nite Elmont , but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. On multiple occasions, I’ve placed takeout orders with specific instructions that have been completely ignored. To make matters worse, the staff has repeatedly lied to my face, assuring me that all the sauces were packed, only for me to find them missing when I get home. This isn’t a one-time mistake; it has happened far too many times. I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of respect and attention to detail has crossed the line. It’s frustrating and unacceptable, especially when these issues could easily be avoided. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this is the limit. Something needs to change. Today we ordered Biryani and BBQ MIX GRILL. It came out okay but there was no sauce.
Affordable but food is not the same as before... Maybe the Old chef is not working anymore... Kheer was watery and not as tasty as before... Lamb over rice was 2 out of 10.. Chicken biryani loses its flavor.... Been coming here for 4 year year straight... 100's of time... Driving from Brooklyn to Long Island just to have the food... But, not coming back.. very disappointed... Even the fries are not crispy anymore... What happened??? Maybe the owners know but I'm disappointed.. 😔☹️😔
A traditional meal should not be that complicated? Can anyone explain this?
Zero common sense for workers. We ordered our food 1 hour prior because we know it’s a rush hour. We get there and they did not start our food but fed everyone else. Never coming back here.
Went in and it was freezing cold … waited for food for 45 min and they’re so cheap they don’t even bother u giving non plastic plate or utensil .. hot food in styrofoam and plastic utensils. I got sick after eating there. Their white chutney is out in the open in a.l big bucket where people are walking around and coughing around it. I’m reporting them
Terrible service and clearly understaffed. I waited far too long just to get basic help, and when someone finally showed up, they seemed rushed and uninterested. It was obvious they didn’t have enough staff to handle customers properly. The whole experience felt chaotic and unprofessional. I definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they fix their staffing and customer service issues.
Very disappointed in the service. Been a loyal customer for years but lately it's been down hill. Rude and disrespectful attitude, had to wait 10 minutes to make a payment because the front guy on the phone talking to his habibi. Ridiculous Don’t waste your time.
The guy that takes the phone order needs to learn how to talk to customer. Very rude and disrespectful. I had to repeat my self 3 times and still guy said hold on Jesus is on the other line which is more very very important.
I rarely leave reviews, but my visit to BBQ Nite was the worst customer-service experience I’ve had anywhere. The cashier was shockingly rude from the moment I walked in and an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering them just by ordering. When I asked simple questions about the menu, they gave curt, dismissive answers and acted annoyed.
Every time I place an order, they misplace it!!!!!!!!!!!!! and their naan are always somehow burnt, even though I asked to make it well done!. Over the phone, orders are misplaced as well. I honestly like their taste but their service needs to be accurate! The masala in fries isn't giving!. The spicy burger has to level up with spice! make it make sense fr
