Hands down the best Pakistani food take out! Cheese naan with butter chicken is amazing. Also the prices are so cheap compared to the portion sizes. You need ATLEAST two people to finish one butter chicken serving in one go
The best Pakistani/Indian food you will ever taste 😋 👌 😜. You should order in advance for take out.
Awesome food good fast quick service i eat almost everyday recommended to all friends and family as compared to a lot of desi restaurant much better taste and quality. Completely satisfied i would disagree with the above review as. First of all sometimes for cleaning purposes certain grilled item could be unavailable temporarily it happened to me too as i went kind of early but i ordered something else and its a small restaurant not a 5 star hotel those desis who wanna spend pennies and want vvip service should look else where where they could satisfy their standards but if u r there for food definately will love it.
Absolutely amazing food! Been going there for a while now and always loved it! The service is very nice and highly respectful. I used to drive 45 min to go to the Hicksville location and am so happy they opened up nearby.. Finally a great place to eat around here!!
Great spot to find a home cooked meal from an authentic Pakistani restaurant. Service could be a bit more communicative
Best Halal cheese burger in town, try it with the side of Masala Fries (they don't do combination meals, you have to order separate). Also their lab chops is a must try (prepare yourself for a 40+ minute wait though, order in advance).
Really great food, I asked the cashier for a recommendation and it ended up tasting wonderful. Very well-priced for the taste. Would 100% return.
Many options to choose from! very nice - kababs, tandoori... each visit here is a different experience. The service here is sometimes a little slow, but nothing too harsh or disturbing. I love finishing the meal with a lassi mango!!
They have the best zinger burger!! I always try to stop by for it anytime I'm in the area!
Food here is amazing! I've been here maybe 3-4 times, and each time the food is so good. I always go for the cheese naan, butter chicken and masala fries. The portions are huge and the food is super cheap. 10/10 would recommend
I love their chicken Bihari. Anything I have ever tried here turned out to be amazing! Wonderful customer service, love the fact that it doesn’t feel like a typical desi restaurant, it just has that amazing vibe! And did I mention “their food truly is amazing !”
Really great Pakistani food. The zinger burger is a must try item here. The food has a authentic Pakistani flavor and portions are enough for two people. Sometimes takes a while to get the food but it is always hot and fresh.
We have been getting takeout orders for a while. Great food and never disappointed. Good portion and price is fair. Our usual is mixed grill, chola and naan.
This is my family’s go to spot for chana masala, Buffalo wings, and zinger burger. Literally the best. We all love the food and how fresh it tastes. I’ve catered from here and all the guests have loved their food as well. Definitely a must try!
10/10! Ordered from here for out Iftar and it was perfect. The staff, especially Badar, were so helpful! She especially helped us by explaining meal options and what the iftar box would be. The food came well packaged with biryani, naan, half a kabab, piece of chicken, butterchicken, and channa curry. It was so tasty and all under $10 per box. We picked up and everything was ready on time. Badar and the other boys helped us and really took care of us. Thank you for the wonderful food, service, and experience!
All the food here is really tasty. I have eaten here many times and was never disappointed. Price is very reasonable. Tiny place and nice people.
Best chicken qorma I had in a long time. Also try their beef qeema. I couldn't stop eating the qorma. Highly recommend BBQ nite in Elmont. Zeeshan khan
The best halal restaurant in town. Yes, service can be a bit slow at times, but it's because they're usually busy (take out is very popular.) It's not meant to be a fancy sit down place so if you're expecting waiters with proper plates and cutlery- you will be disappointed. People are complaining about asking for plates and ketchup, everything is available at the counter/fridge and you're supposed to help yourself. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious! Our usual order includes a mixed grill, zinger burger and makhni chicken, all yum. Naans are okay. I took some relatives visiting from Lahore here and they were impressed and loved the food! Also catered from here 2 years ago and their portions were very generous. (Just a tip- parking lot is very small and usually packed. Avoid peak times on weekend if you're like me and get nervous parking in tight spots.)
If you're looking for fresh, great tasting Pakistani food, this is the place. Although seating is a bit limited but worth the wait. Or you can order take out.
This is the one of the best foods places in New York. 100% recommend this. The "zinger" burger and "masala" fries are the best things from here in my choice. Other food is good too but you have to try this.
I am a foodie and I eat at many Indian restaurant at Hillside ave and Jackson highest I can tell you. This restaurant has More food for cheaper price and greater taste! I thanks fot the great service.
Food was dope and the main guy khuram was mad chill and kheer on the house was a great gesture by khuram. Overall would immensely recommend anyone to try
This place food is good you have to try different items. The best part is people who work here also eat food of this restuant not order from outside I personally catch them eating there own resturant food means food is made clean fresh unlike other resturants. people who work here are respectful 99 times out times 1 percent you know we are humans. last thing i like about them there prices are reasonable and presntable according to the food and services.
Most of the food items are of high quality in terms of taste. I highly recommend them.
Great food! Very affordable and love the overall experience. Just need more parking and bigger sitting area.
amazing and friendly staff!! generous sized meals for the price too. will definitely come back with more friends😁
The staff is super polite and their food is always fresh. I love their smoked beef keema and fish curry that their Friday special .
Was visiting a friend at vellystream. He suggested to eat at this place . Actually last year I had not a good experience eating at BBQ Nite Hicksville branch .the food was made with Shan spices it was crazy busy but not my standard .So I was not sure to go at this branch but my friend Atiq-ur Rahman insist that this place is his almost 3 times a week stop as the food is excellent. So we step in was not too crowded at 6:30 pm .Atiq ordered chicken achari ( his favorite and choolay (chickpea curry) .2 Nan and 1 roti ( fresh oven baked pita bread/tortilla) .. Food came in few minutes. And we started . Honestly I never have such an amazing Choolay ( chickpea with curry) even I live in Jackson Heights where a lot of Desi restaurants ( Indian Pakistani Bangladeshi) serve Choolay but none of them can compete this one's recipe . Chicken Achari was also great .Nan were not only the best but also their weight was perfect same with Roti .In Jackson Heights and around restaurants make Nan and Roti very thin ( I can easily eat 3 Nan or rotis with a curry plate .Some times little more. But here two Nans were enough for me to full stomach meaning Dough used was weight enough. Prices were super great Choolay / chickpea curry was just $6 and was enough that not only we two person enjoyed we took rest for home which would be great for two more meals . Chicken Achari was also so much that we ate it not only at the restaurant but to bring it home and it seems will use it for the next two meals . Price just $10 a plate . Nan / Roti price was $1:50 each but again heavy in weight and excellently baked . Onion & lettuce with green Chile Yogurt sauce was also given free and was fresh . Soda $1 water bottle $1 ..So total bill $24 .For 2 person having our hungry stomach full and bringing home enough food for next two meals it's a great deal when the quality of food is great .After 7:15 the restaurant was crowded with customers. Try this place you will enjoy it and hope not will be disappointed .
PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 Eat the World NYC review: While all the rage of summer will be on the coasts of Long Island, the interior is where the good food is located, with expat communities from the edge of Queens to the middle of the fork. BBQ Nite serves three locations in this corridor, with the closest being this spot in Elmont, just past the county line.
Amazing fresh food as always! 10/10! Service is good too. Prices are reasonable in today’s economy. Just wish seating area was better, and more parking.
Food is amazing and prices are reasonable therefore be prepared to wait as they are frequently busy
The food here is excellent. I got catering here sometime ago during the holidays and it was a hit. Genuinely high quality Pakistani food that is made to order.
very delicious food ran by very nice staff, i always get the zinger burger and masala fries. i am a regular here now, 10/10 would recommend 👍👍
I recently stopped by BBQ Nite in Elmont and tried the Zinger Burger, Mix Over Rice, and the Mix Grill. The food overall was really good — the Zinger Burger was the standout, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Mix Over Rice was solid as well, great portion and taste. The only downside was the Mix Grill. It took over 45 minutes to come out, and by then I had already finished my other food. I ended up having to take it to go, and it just didn’t hit the same as it would have fresh at the table. Overall, the food is definitely worth trying, especially the Zinger Burger, but I’d recommend going when you’re not in a rush since some items can take a while.
Assalamu Alaikum, Tonight’s dinner was absolutely amazing! Especially the chicken biryani, wings, and nuggets — everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. This is truly one of the best restaurants for Pakistani halal food. My family, friends, and I really enjoyed the experience. The staff, especially the ones at the counter, were very friendly, welcoming, and provided special attention and excellent service. InshaAllah, we will definitely visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!
I've heard a lot about this place & seen some videos on YouTube about them. The BBQ flavors are very delicious here. We had the beef cheesesteak, zinger burgers, achaari chicken, chicken makhni, seekh kabab & naan. The Zinger burgers were something else. The BBQ flavors were really robust in the burgers. The naan are huge. They are very fairly priced. All our food came out to only $60. There is no table service. Getting beverages, forks/spoons, or napkins is all self-service. They have a free small parking lot that they share with the restaurant next door, which is convenient. Spots may fill up quickly, but wait a few minutes, and a spot will open up. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody.
My gosh this spot is amazing….travelled all the way from Connecticut...the food was delicious and authentic in taste…so fresh…we ordered their specialty zinger burger it was so juicy …white karahi, nihari, qeema, garlic naans, seekh kabab and chicken Bihari was so tender…qeema naans were soft like candy floss…never had such delicious naans…the staff was very diligent and courteous…we packed some more to go too…will love to visit this place again highly recommended
Home of the famous Zinger Burger! Cheap but very good food for its price. The chicken maakni/butter chicken is one of the better ones I've ever had. Make sure to try it with the cheese naan, which is also quite good. Additionally, the Zinger Burger is famous for a reason - fried in a tasty batter, served with lettuce, cheese, and tomato on a sesame bun. Always a great experience here!
Its halal place for pakistani food. Food taste and quality is 6/10. You can dine in. There is free parking available. You can dine in as well although Seating arrangements are not that great. Prices are readonable not expensive. Overall it nice place.
5 stars for food, minus one stars for lack of cleanliness. (Albeit, I was there on a busy Friday evening) They have an excellent Zinger burger, excellent food. If you're a foodie, you'll love this place. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Parking may be a little tricky. But well worth it.
I ordered from Uber Eats and the food was is great. The butter naan was fluffy, the chana and butter chicken was tasty, not too spicy. Also, the price was decent. They were out of biryani and they let me know right away and swapped it for something else. Overall, my experience was good. Would probably order again if it is consistent.
The zinger burger is the bomb here! Although they lack in the housekeeping department. They need to look at their arrangements and also have a separate bathroom for males and females to use as they only have one at the moment.Friendly staff and quick service.Halal Pakistani food is served here.
They have great food but be prepared for a busy place with zero focus on customer service. This place gets extremely busy, make sure to double check your order for accuracy. Again great food but don't expect nothing else.
This is a go to spot for me I love their cheese burgers they are generous with the Sauce and cheese. My family love the Channa masala and the garlic naan it’s good. The fries however can sometimes be a bit undercooked and soggy that would be my only critique
Great food and service! Everything we ordered was delicious. We were first timers and told them we came in based on Yelp reviews. The man at the counter gave us a complimentary Zinger burger for free. As soon as we took our first bite of the burger, we were glad to see that all the workers started laughing and giving each other high fives. They've definitely made me 1 happy customer that will be coming back for more!
Food was really nice, especially The, chickpeas, and lamb chops rice pudding was very nice
The in laws are regulars here but it was my first time trying this place in 5 years. The last experience was not great. I did not try the food (zinger burger) but had walked in here after Jummah prayers, because of which it was rather busy. This did not put me off however, it was the sticky floors and the rather 'unclean' environment. Much better this time round though. That being said, food was all to take out. The food - Butter Chicken is the go-to for the family. Not for me, not spicy enough but they love it so 5/5. Goat/Meat Korma - Not for the family but i loved this. More like the deghi gosht back in the UK. 5/5 Keema - big let down. Way too many whole masalas in the food. Ended up biting into whole laung/laachis multiple times so completely put me off. Naans were decent - again, family swear by their naans but i felt they were nowhere near as good as we get in the uk. Decent but felt a little stodgy. 3.5/5 Zinger burger. For the kids. Took a bite and it was a standard chicken fillet. Kids ate all their burgers however so cant complain. 4/5 I didnt realise there was chutney in the bag but the brother gave us extra anyway so thanks for that. It was however a little too much on the watery side, otherwise ok.
Food was good, nice mix of spices and good blend of flavors. However the appearance of the entire place needs an uplift or improvement. Kinda looks a bit drab.
The place has Phenomenal food. The zinger burger and Masala fries is a good combo. The only thing I am concerned about is the table service. The tables and seats are always greasy when you sit down. The guy came rushing and started spraying Clorox everywhere and wiping the table getting some spray on our clothes. We were laughing but we were not pleased.
I’ve been a regular at this BBQ nite Elmont , but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. On multiple occasions, I’ve placed takeout orders with specific instructions that have been completely ignored. To make matters worse, the staff has repeatedly lied to my face, assuring me that all the sauces were packed, only for me to find them missing when I get home. This isn’t a one-time mistake; it has happened far too many times. I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of respect and attention to detail has crossed the line. It’s frustrating and unacceptable, especially when these issues could easily be avoided. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this is the limit. Something needs to change. Today we ordered Biryani and BBQ MIX GRILL. It came out okay but there was no sauce.
Affordable but food is not the same as before... Maybe the Old chef is not working anymore... Kheer was watery and not as tasty as before... Lamb over rice was 2 out of 10.. Chicken biryani loses its flavor.... Been coming here for 4 year year straight... 100's of time... Driving from Brooklyn to Long Island just to have the food... But, not coming back.. very disappointed... Even the fries are not crispy anymore... What happened??? Maybe the owners know but I'm disappointed.. 😔☹️😔
Have placed order several times at least 20-25 min before arriving to location and still staff manages to have a wait time which is unbearable. If you are in rush, Togo order, right away or at least with a 15-20 min wait time, this spot is not for you. Expect to wait 35-45 min on regular rush hours. Food brings us all back, so can't rate any lower. 🌟 🌟 for Wait time!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 For Zinger Burger!!!!
I had ordered mixed grill, chicken makhni, achari chicken, chana, and naan. It was a busy day, almost during iftaar time when I had ordered my food. The amount of naan was missed when I brought the food home. I also thought I was over charged because the menus there apparently are old menus but the waitress did not let me know that while I was there. I called them later to let the owner know that naans were missed (6 were ordered and received 2) and menus need to be changed or customers need to be told that all the menus around the restaurant are old. Aside from business complaints here are my ratings for food. Achari chicken: 3/5 Chicken makhni: 3/5 Mixed grill: 5/5 Chana: 3/5
We are customers since day-1 of opening. It was good but not any more. Since new employees are there, girl and other staff attitude is terrible. No gloves, head net & masks usually used in kitchen. Prices gone up but quality & services went down. Kept Kabab ready and giving to customers using oven. Nans order refused by girl to a regular customer who comes to buy food 2-3 times a week. Disappointing service and attitude and now going to other near by options available.
Great chicken sandwiches they are known for their zinger chicken sandwich always fresh and delicious, THEY USE TO BE GREAT Stay AWAY, seems to be new owners not friendly at all very rude. Ordered my usual 2 zingers chicken sandwiches take a bite couldn't find the chicken super paper thin disgusting ....
I always have Zinger Burgers from here but it’s becoming horrible. I’m not sure if it’s a different person making them but whoever is, needs to learn how to cook the entire chicken correctly. The chicken of the burger be so damn raw and the burger is so DRY. They can at least add mayo and ketchup— like how they used to make it. I’m not sure how management is at this store but I’d say the Hicksville BBQ Nite is way better and makes delicious Zinger burgers! Save your money and go somewhere else!
Can't believe this, I ordered Chicken Karahi to go for lunch, in restaurant business maintaining quality is key to your success. Please train your employees how to prepare orders with proper ratio of meat/bones etc. otherwise you will lose loyal customers like me, there are other good restaurants in the neighborhood.
When I 1st found this place about 3 years ago, the food was good if a bit uninspired; I usually got wings, or a dbl cheeseburger and some “masala” fries; flash forward to today and, quite frankly I have never had a worst meal. The wings were stale, flavorless, with the meat tough; the double cheeseburger was soggy and, again the meat was as tough. The “masala” fries were bland and soggy. Everything was over salted. Probably the last time I will get from here!
Came with my husband. Cashier is so rude and cheap. Gave us small white sauce, extra white sauce they charge. Terrible service. With an attitude she gave us a big container. Shes probably the owners daughter, guess thats why shes nasty.
I'm assuming my comments was removed but I will post it again. Several times I've ordered ahead of time and my food was prepared after I arrived a half hour later. If you are not paki, speak Urdu, or are a GUY be prepared for attitude, for you order to be pushed behind others and for men to skip in front of you in line without consequence. Unfortunately my kids loved their chicken tikka masala but we don't go here anymore because of the terrible customer service. Very sad since there aren't many halal places around here.
Just wasted $25 here. Old kebabs, overcooked naans, stale chicken in zingers. Pure disappointment on a Saturday afternoon!! Never going back. Would rather have a McDonald’s fish filet. SMH
Honestly, these guys specially in elmont were really good few years ago and kinda known for their zinger burgers but this time man it was the worst, serving poor quality not well cooked and was not served hot either. Looks like the management is changed and did not find the earlier folks behind the counter that used to be there before. Please guys don't waste your money here 🙏 and for the management please get back to your basics. It's just not about customer volume but quality as well.
Yeterday I went there and I really don’t like the Briyani
I ordered the zinger burger and chicken gyro from this location through Uber Eats. The zinger burger was stale, rubbery and it did not taste fresh. Same issues with the chicken gyro which had cut up pieces of chicken kebab in it, who puts cut up pieces of chicken kebab into a chicken gyro?! I wouldn't recommend eating from here at all, terrible place.
Ordered zinger burger with fries and chicken bihari and the girl told me it will take 20 min my kids was in the car so i said ok, and waited for more then 25 min. And still they were saying its not done yet. Worst customer service ever don’t go with the saying. The old owner was excellent this new girl taking orders are worst be careful before you place your order. Beware i wish i can give them less then 1 star if i can. Finaly after order at 7:50 got my order at 8:30 and guess what when we came hime to see there was no fries and it was cold as the burger was ready in 10 min and bihari was done after 30 min. Wow no words regarding their customer service.
I actually gave them one star for dirty store and than i tasted their food, complete contrast, food is delicious and mouth watering, for once cheese steak on desi restuarant was exactly how it was suppose to be, its not just burgers but a complete desi halal restaurant, i will definately be stopping by here again, but they need to clean the store frequently and wipe tables. I stayed here for almost half an hour, the wait is long and worst customer service ever, the store was not clean and left over dishes stayed on tables all the time i was here, other tables were greesy seats were dirty like no one had cleaned, Store is very clean this time, Edit ::: food is good but the service is worst they brought food one by one and by time i got my sandwich my whole group was done eating and waiting for my sandwich to come... The WORST service
I went there with friend and ordered 2 goat biriyani …the meat was spoiled in the biriyani and smell was coming from it . When we confronted it to them they were refused to accept it ! The lady was telling it was over night smell of the marination of the curd coming from the meat …. I told her that few days back I took same biriyani from them it was good and if she has a doubt she can verify it … she was unwilling to accept it ! Which is Horrible ! Typical Pakistani mentality even though staying in us … I felt very bad because I used to be a regular customer of that shop , mostly order chicken burger ,fries and lamp chop …sometimes I order biriyanis …. Still they were rude and unwilling to accept their fault… we maintained our courtesy..we paid the entire bill and left … Then my friend told me he had similar experience with another Pakistani restaurant and that’s why he never prefers to go any Pakistani restaurants
They served bad food all the time and denies that when someone pointed that out . We went there and ordered chicken biriyani , the meat was spoiled …when we said about that the lady refused to accept that …. So we left by paying the BILL … later when I said that to my friends everyone said that they had similar experience with this shop …very bad they are serving bad food left and right always …
I went there today to get some food but they was very rude no professionalism
Horrible experience every.time!! Never gets order right! Does not understand or speak lick of english making placing orders over the phone with them impossible!
Food is good but will take you a very long time to get. Even if you call ahead. I have been here a few time when you sit in and eat it will take you a very long time. And when you ask what’s going on you will be treated like you are back in Pakistan. Best thing to do go straight up to the counter and stand on top of them to make them your food.
Disgusting place got sick from here. They don’t handle your food with care they sneeze on it n don’t use gloves
Ordered 2 orders or nuggets and 2 orders of zinger. Both orders of nuggets were spoiled tasted like raw spoiled meat. Returned both orders got no refund or apology. So pathetic & typical behavior. Seems like food authority need to come and pay a visit to check expiration dates of food products.
The place is really dirty the bathroom is not clean and hygiene. The tables were dirty even the sauce bottles and everything were terribly dirty the ac was not working. Overall the place is like visiting a broken place. Just wonder when everything is so dirty. Then how can their kitchen be clean and hygiene? The food must have to be really unhealthy and unhygienic. Will never ever visit the place ever again.
A traditional meal should not be that complicated? Can anyone explain this?
Zero common sense for workers. We ordered our food 1 hour prior because we know it’s a rush hour. We get there and they did not start our food but fed everyone else. Never coming back here.
Went in and it was freezing cold … waited for food for 45 min and they’re so cheap they don’t even bother u giving non plastic plate or utensil .. hot food in styrofoam and plastic utensils. I got sick after eating there. Their white chutney is out in the open in a.l big bucket where people are walking around and coughing around it. I’m reporting them
Terrible service and clearly understaffed. I waited far too long just to get basic help, and when someone finally showed up, they seemed rushed and uninterested. It was obvious they didn’t have enough staff to handle customers properly. The whole experience felt chaotic and unprofessional. I definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they fix their staffing and customer service issues.
Very disappointed in the service. Been a loyal customer for years but lately it's been down hill. Rude and disrespectful attitude, had to wait 10 minutes to make a payment because the front guy on the phone talking to his habibi. Ridiculous Don’t waste your time.
The guy that takes the phone order needs to learn how to talk to customer. Very rude and disrespectful. I had to repeat my self 3 times and still guy said hold on Jesus is on the other line which is more very very important.
I rarely leave reviews, but my visit to BBQ Nite was the worst customer-service experience I’ve had anywhere. The cashier was shockingly rude from the moment I walked in and an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering them just by ordering. When I asked simple questions about the menu, they gave curt, dismissive answers and acted annoyed.
Every time I place an order, they misplace it!!!!!!!!!!!!! and their naan are always somehow burnt, even though I asked to make it well done!. Over the phone, orders are misplaced as well. I honestly like their taste but their service needs to be accurate! The masala in fries isn't giving!. The spicy burger has to level up with spice! make it make sense fr
