Coral Tree Cafe Encino Reviews
Been going her since the first week it opened in Tarzana. The food is simply freaking awesome, the people are really nice. The parking sucks. BUT the food people is damn good.
This was my first time here. My family has come here before. It's a Thursday evening around 4:20pm. It's not busy at all. You place your order at the counter. The young lady was very knowledgeable. She helped me with my choices. She asked if I wanted some light or heavy. She helped me pick out a drink. My aunt ordered the tuna salad signature. She loves this option and it doesn't have mayonnaise. I had the grilled chicken panini with a side salad. It was super light and good. It has avocado 🥑 🥑 🥑 🥑 🥑. They have some good drinks. I tried the pineapple and ginger juice. This place is great if you work from home and want to change your scenery. Whole I was here, I saw someone working and two people playing chess. It has a community feel. The space feels like a barn inside. It was quiet. They had various sections. Some high top tables. They also have outside seating. I do plan to come back when I return to LA. They have some great options. There is a free parking lot, but it's busy. There is parking on the streets and meter parking.
I was in the area and looking for a nice place to grab breakfast. I walked past at least half a dozen others before arriving here- glad I did because it was exactly what I'd hoped it would be! Delicious food and the coffee was amazing. Beautiful setting- both indoors and out. I had my dog with me so we ordered our food and sat outside on the covered patio. Just enough sun peeked in to warm us up on a cold morning, and enough shade on the other side of the patio to enjoy a second cup of coffee as the heat of mid-day set in. An absolutely wonderful 'organic' cafe with lots of lacto/ovo vegetarian options. You, too, will love this place...!
We used to live in the Valley and Coral Tree was on our regular rotation of brunch spots. So we were delighted to have the chance to go again and remind ourselves why we loved it so much. Everything we've had is good and slightly indulgent. From their coffee drinks (my wife had a Matcha Latte which was beautiful and delicious) to their food (just a side of breakfast potatoes and muffin for me this time around. Both good.) My wife also enjoyed her Farmers Market Vegetable and Eggs. Everything was fresh and tasty and the portion size was perfect. They've got a lot of great options here for vegetarians, indulgent bread-based delights. (nothing for gluten-free folks in that department.) We really like the rustic cavernous atmosphere of the space. Glad to have re-met Coral Tree after a long absence. Maybe they can open up one in the Santa Clarita Valley. :)
This is a great cafe! I been coming here a lot recently this year and I haven’t been disappointed. Good vibes, the staff are extra friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the environment feels very comfortable. This is my go to place for breakfast or brunch when I’m having a business meeting because it’s also quiet and you are able to concentrate on your work. I did noticed alot of people come here to work on their laptops while eating. Overall the breakfast is good I have tried a few different dishes and I can’t complain. This time I went with the huevos rancheros and I was really surprised how good they were! Not made can make it good so I was impressed! It’s also a great place to have breakfast with the family I did take my baby and I think we were the loudest ones in there but everyone just mind their own business. I highly recommend this cafe. Also the mimosa’s were awesome!
So much better than Starbucks! This is a great, chill spot to meet someone for a week day coffee and not get all the noise and busyness as a Starbucks. My almond milk latte was absolutely delicious. Breakfast food was good too!
Hard to find? Their big huge sign out front is unreadable! Their logo is too busy and when sized to the sign, the name is tooo small, kind of faded too! Nice sandwiches, a little expensive, but I guess rent is high at that location!? Took a while to figure out how/where to order, needs "ORDER" & "PICKUP" signs above the counter Menu board is unreadable too! Trying to cram tooo much on it.
Coral tree Cafe is a gorgeous restaurant. I love to come here and grab a small bite to eat, an espresso drink, and just relax and read in the gorgeous interior. Every time I've stopped by the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Their lattes are good and they have a delightful assortment of pastries. I've tried their avacado toast however and I don't think it's quite worth the price and some of their items do seem to cost more than they are worth. Their drinks however are always delightful. While the price might not make this a regular place I visit I know if I'm in the mood for a quaint place to relax Coral Tree is definitely on my list of places to stop by.
I love the food here. The service is always decent as well. Some of the best coffee ever is served at this place! While everything I've ever had here was delicious, my go-to is the breakfast burrito. 4 stars because the parking is a nightmare! The lot is small. And while they used to offer complimentary valet service, you now have to pay to park as the street parking is also metered. So I try to go on Sundays for brunch when the street parking is free.
Very cute place. First time here. I came in on a Sunday around 11:30am and it wasn't too crowded. I got the two egg breakfast with potatoes and bacon. They serve a lot of potatoes. We left a lot on our plate and I don't like wasting food. I wasn't impressed with them. They were a little dry and bready. I was surprised by their spicyness. Bacon was a little too salty. Latte was okay. It wasn't rich enough considering I asked for half & half. Prices are okay for what you get. Cashier was very nice. Waiters were very attentive. I'll definitely consider returning.
I recently visited this establishment for the first time and was thoroughly underwhelmed. The 'freshly squeezed orange juice' I ordered was entirely disappointing, bearing little resemblance to authentic orange juice. Upon informing the waiter, she acknowledged the issue, stating that she too had tried it and found it lacking. Although she promptly replaced it with an Immunity Booster, its extreme sourness rendered it undrinkable. While the French toast was satisfactory, it was unremarkable and not worth the price paid. Unfortunately, my experience does not warrant a return visit.
Great open cafe atmosphere. Coffee is amazing! Food and beverage is a little over priced for what you get. Food is good but nothing to brag about. I'd definitely come here for a coffee ($7) and get some work done but that's about it. I got the chicken panini it was pretty bland for $17 and my friend got the kale salad.
I really wanted to like this place but its simply not good. Food was awful, everything tasted overwhelmingly of lemon (I ordered eggs Benedict with potatoes) and I had no idea where the lemon taste was coming from. The hollandaise sauce was overly thick and tasted sour. The man who took my order felt a bit creepy, and he proceeded to mess up my order as well. The server then had to recreate my order, who was a bit ride about it, and when comparing it to my friends latte, mine tasted like nothing. Also my order alone was $30, just for eggs and potatoes.
