Pantheon Endicott Reviews
Gorgeous spot, incredible service, perfect cooked and fresh caught seafood. Must-visit place!
We had a great meal here, beautiful fresh fish and lovely staff
The service was amazing, and the food delicious, no wonder why it’s one of the best restaurants around the zone, and the service tall guy was so sweet and serviceable, an amazing experience.
Briefly saw this place mentioned on an online itinerary of Santander so we also took a boat to Pedreña for the seafood here. We were a little early so we explored the town until 1330. We ordered the dorado (or was it sea bass?) and it was one of the best, if not the best fish I have ever had! Grilled to perfection, soft, tasty flesh, slight tang and zest from the lemon, expertly enhanced with rich butter and salt. Staff were all also super professional and gave great recommendations. Honestly, my brother and I talk about the dish sometimes even though we visited late November 2022.
We have just had a wonderful lunch here. The best meal we have had in the Santander area. Freshly barbecued fish in a delightful and spotlessly clean restaurant overlooking the bay. We had a delicious mixed salad with gambas a la plancha followed by superbly cooked sea bass. The homemade desserts were delicious too as was the local white wine. The waiting staff and owner were so friendly and helpful. Make sure to book though. It's extremely popular and people were queuing to get a table.
Excellent! A well and professionally run machine used to years of success. Reservations a must! But even having a reservation for a second (and recommended) lunch seating, which begins at 3 PM (1st at 1:30 PM), waiting on the street (with cars passing by) is worth it. The staff is well trained and capable. Our table of 3 was ready within 15 minutes of wait on the street side terrace with bay views. This popular restaurant is simple, basic, and well managed which you notice when going to wash your hands in a small but clean restroom with all the sanitary essentials and a welcome Airblade hand dryer, not one of those tired, or, what’s worse, non working hand dryers and no paper towels. Plates, flatware, and glasses are of good quality, including decent paper napkins. Fresh bread is served automatically and added to the bill. Once seated, the initial disappointment of too much success and the resulting, and regrettable treatment at the crowded, street side entrance waiting just to claim your reserved table dissipated, this restaurant performs impeccably. We ordered standard dishes such as a salad, fried calamari, octopus, and 2 orders of grilled sardines, along with a glass of beer and a bottle of the recommended Verdejo white wine for our table of 3. The octopus and the sardines were among the best we ever tasted! Very much recommended!
Unexpectedly (for us) awesome place for BBQ sardines and all manner of seafood (you can also get steaks but seafood recommended). We walked past before it opened and went next door for a drink to wait. When we came back at opening time there was a queue. Excellent food. Fast service. Good value.
The most amazing grilled sardines and minute lamb chops! No reservations...packed at lunchtime. Good to arrive around 1 o'clock and enjoy a lovely cold white wine..Albariño or Rueda... and grab a table!
This is my first time in eight years of living in Spain that I can actually day 'Wow!' for both the food and the service. This restaurant is a must. Fresh fish grilled over coals, and for the my first time in Spain, served with a lemon garlic butter. Get here early because it fills up quickly and some fish is unavailable due to popular demand. They don't take reservations but you won't wait more than 20 mins for a table. The price is reasonable and the place comes with a superb view over the harbour to Santander.
The food is very nice, fresh and served by lovely people. So is the clientele. Excellent wine for a reasonable price and the flan is to die for. They serve canned tuna on a bed of chili jam. This is in all its simplicity awesome. Bonito del Norte con confiture del pimiento of I recall correctly. Or try the croquetas de carne, or the squid. In fact I doubt of you can go wrong.
Very good food here. It gets very busy during the summer and it is good to go early if you don't want to wait on a busy night. Very good fish grilled outside.
Amazing fish! I had never tried fish any fresh and tastier than the one here! They do special grilled fish dishes here with a super tasty sauce. Expect to pay around €90 for 3-4 people when you order a 1.5 kilo fish, a big salad, and drinks, but in all Somo and Pedrena region, I never found any better fish place than here. Definitely worth a try
Nice fish restaurant near Santander, on the other side of the bay. Informal atmosphere with good fresh fish, don´t try ordering other things. Reasonable pricing (except for the fries, 15 euros for a small plate) and good short wine list of Spanish producers. My only claim here would be the service and the desserts. Service can be significantly improved, waiters seemed always in a hurry. We had the cheesecake which we didn´t like and the selection of ice cream was quite limited. Would still recommend if you´re in the area, but probably not worth the trip. Must reserve.
The place is ok. The food is good, however some place are super expensive, thinking that is a place out of the city center. The waitres was kind of distracted and give me a salad full of tuna when I me soon that I am vegan and I don’t eat fish.
Was a bit offish when we arrived off the ferry nothing else there so everyone goes to this little place so if you get in good luck we did as we went to the bar and asked for 2 local wines then sat down was moved and we ended up eating a light lunch and about 2 bottles of wine and spent 30 euros .
