This KFC location has to be the best one I've eaten at in a long time. The staff was outstanding and made sure I had everything I needed for my order. Definitely will be returning again in the near future. Shout out to the cook, was told his name is Johnny, FOOD TASTED AMAZING! Managers name was Matthew(according to name tag), KFC Ennis.....keep up all the amazing work!

Jesus! When I tell you this is the best experience I’ve ever had at a KFC I wouldn’t be lying. The manager Morgan is literally the epitome of a service professional. I wish she was over all KFCs. She was helpful, kind and respectful. I could tell that she was a great manager for her staff also!

The Ennis location has been on point 3x in a row for our 10 day visit in this area!! The customer service was awesome all 3x. Every time we were greeted and served with plenty of hospitality. And the food!! Always fresh and delicious. No complaints AT ALL for this location. Waxahachielocation, however, was a big disappointment!!

These guys have pretty bad reviews but my husband and I have had consistently good food and good service from them, and we've been coming here since they opened.

I don't leave many reviews, I know here's comes the but the food was good. The service is bad, very slow, and put in an online order 25 minutes later . My order was ready . I know now for sure I won't ever be coming back to KFC in waxahachie or ennis, both suck !! 😒

The employees were friendly to me and generous. However, the chicken was soggy even a few mins after receiving it. It was never crispy. Not even the supposed “extra crispy”... and the biscuits were so dry you could almost crack a tooth. Okay, not quite that badly, but close. Lol. The flavor was good and it was still satisfying on some level. The sides were good.

Went here with my (Mexican) grandparents One of the workers at the front that was taking our order kept on trying to speak Spanish to us even though they can speak English perfectly and they spoken English in front of them but they kept on trying to speak Spanish If you're Mexican probably the best idea to either go somewhere else or make it clear you can speak English (Edit:food is pretty good and the service was not bad)

Chicken seemed to be under a light for way too long. Chewy chicken isn't for me. Is fast food, but it's not always "food" quality. Great for dog treats every now and again.

The last 2 times I have been there they have no original recipe chicken ready and no chicken breasts ready. They say 18 minute wait. Thats ennis restraunts for you. Thanks ennis.

That famous recipe just isn't the same. Extra small sides that are never full. Always have to return for missing items. The biscuits have been like rocks and the chicken so greasy that it is barely edible. Have to use napkins to soak up extra grease. Hard pass these days.

Update: 9/19/24 Decided to try it again tonight. I ordered the 8 piece mixed bucket with mashed potatoes, corn with biscuits. I got a 7-piece mixed bucket and the crispy chicken tasted old. What's wrong with this KFC. Disappointed tonight, I don't understand how a food restaurant at dinner time can be out of their main product. Had I wanted white meat I would have had to have waited 20 minutes while it cooked. Mind you it was now 7:00 and dinner time how do you not product on hand.

Didnt recieve all our order. There was a mystery piece of chicken. The bones did not look like chicken bones. None I've ever seen anyway. Lol. I didnt get all my biscuits. That's a bad, bad thing to do to a person.

Every time I go there no matter what time of day they have no chicken. Last time was the worst.i wanted 20 minutes for my food and they never even bothered to tell me it was ready. The chicken was so dark and dry my dogs would not eat it. Spent 45 dollars They never change the oil. I will never go back and they won't be in business long. This is the 2nd one that's been in ennis the first one was just as bad. Get a staff that knows what they are doing or shut it down

I've made it a habit to immediately handing my food back after receiving it before looking in the bag and telling them they got my order wrong. I've been right the last 5 times i just dont see the point in this restaurant if simple order's are always wrong. Im giving this restaurant 1 star bc it wont allow me to post without at least 1 star but in reality its negative 5 stars it cant be that hard or maybe they just dont care idk! After the food experience my fiancé had at this location yesterday we will not be having KFC again at any location for a very long time! The chicken was greasy and just nasty the taste was way off, Macaroni was mushy and tasteless. Something other than taste was off because we have been sick all night after eating there.

$50 bucks for a meal. I ordered online and it was supposed to be ready at 6 but they didn't even have the order ready until 615 and all the chicken was mauled up. All the skin was pulled off. It was horrible. I am sure they would not want to spend their money on their own chicken. Never again will I ever go to Ennis KFC.

I placed my order and pulled around and parked as asked. While waiting for 45 min for 2 wings and mashed potatoes I saw the workers bringing large orders out to people who came well after I had arrived. I went in and got my money back; I will NEVER come to this location again!! This was some of the worst service I've ever experienced. All of the workers seemed unconcerned there were so many people waiting in the parking lot to receive their order.

This is the worst experience EVER! Bought a tender meal and the tenders were dry, dark and old. They gave me some dry nuggets instead of tenders, my fries were cold and the container was 1/2 full. I tried to call 8 times and they never answered. I took photos, which I wish I could upload so you all could see I wasn’t lying. Will never go there again!!!! Placed our order at the window and was instructed to pull around to the parking area. We noticed another car waiting as well. We waited over 20 minutes and I decided to go in. An employee came out of work area with a bag of food and headed to the drink station. I asked about my order. She said to ask 'them' and left. I approached the counter and overheard an argument between employees in back. One customer walked out. A gentleman and son had been waiting over 40 minutes he said. Obviously there are employee issues that need to be addressed at this location. They don't have to worry about me going back! Or the others!

Terrible, I will never go back you could tell the staff was angry about our choice of pieces, we paid way to fing much and they did not give us what we paid for and did I mention they made us wait 25 minutes for 8 freaking pieces of chicken and 4 strips! Save your money and your stomach oh yeah we threw out 90% of it. Even my dog didn't care for it.

Rude help. Poor service. Bad attitude. No choice of side. Just potatoes, take it or leave it. Sick less than 30 minutes after eating. Do yourself a favor and find lunch somewhere else. The dumpster behind any other place would be a better choice

The worst experience I’ve ever had. The manager tried to charge me $1.50 per container of dipping sauce after I purchased 72 dollars worth of hot wings. She gave me 4 dipping sauces and that was it and then was rude on top of everything else. You’d think that in this COVD19 environment with most restaurants closing she’d be nice but it was just the opposite

Serious lack of service, feel like the Ennis Tx location employees just don’t do their job. Ordered original recipe and they said there was no chicken and that they’d have to cook it, asked if we wanted to wait and applied yes only to hear them curse in the background. I love KFC but I only go to this location if I know I have 30mins or more to burn and don’t care about waiting. Worst service ever

This is the second time that my order has been incorrect and management or team members have not solve the issue. I went in tonight and ordered a five piece chicken tender and a number 13 chicken mini honey barbecue combo. I pulled up to the drive-through window to pay as the staff member handed me my food I asked her a second time to make sure that they were honey barbecue and she said yes. I arrived home to find buffalo chicken minis in my bag instead of honey barbecue so I drove back up to the store. When I arrived at the store I pulled up to through the drive-through and asked for them to remake the order and I was told that I would eitherHave to receive a refund or they could put me on the list to come by tomorrow when they have them ready. With 45 minutes until close this is absolutely unacceptable you take care of your customers when you wrong them step it up KFC because Popeyes is sounding really good at this point. 💯

The A/C was out. I stood there waiting to order for 10 miniutes before anyone came to take my order. Then they made our order to go .we were dining in. The food was not good. And they said they did not serve white gravy. So charged me extra for brown gravy to dip my chicken strips in.

How about getting employees off their a**** and out of dining area to greet customers and take someone's order! Never once did either of them look our way or offer to take our order. So we walked out and they were still sitting in a booth together . I'm sure for one there is plenty to clean, like the old saying "you got time to lean you got time to clean." horrible customer service and way to go KFC for hiring such lazy, disrespectful kids! Never again. This was 2.23.19.around 9pm..

I have no idea how this location is still open. They can’t even cook the chicken properly. I had three soggy pieces of chicken that were sopping in greasy and had no flavor whatsoever. Felt what seemed like a glob of mushy flour on one of the pieces. I thought I’d give this location another chance, but unfortunately was just as disappointed in the food as I was afraid I’d be. Total waste of money.

I went inside to place my order,asked for 3 pc combo 2 breasts and a wing extra crispy,got home with original recipe 2 thighs and a wing, extremely greasy. I was the only customer there and can't even imagine why the order was so wrong. So disappointing

Had the one door locked at 8:30pm. Still wanted kfc, so went through drive thru. They were OPEN! So they acted like we didn't know how to use a door. The cashier was so rude. Chicken was atrocious. We left a little after 9 and they locked the door behind us. Service at its best. Won't go back.

I am so sick of this location I love the food but the customer service is ridiculous! Out of 10 of my visits my order had been incorrect or short 8/10 times. How do you not correct this after at least a year. Poor management and ownership!!! Hope another chicken franchise opens soon in Ennis because that’s the only hold KFC has right now.

Every single time I've go to this location except a couple of times the food is always wrong or there's a 20 extra minute delay even if the app says it's ready to go. It's so frustrating when you get home and then you get the wrong sides. I do not like to spend 45 minutes out of my day for wrong food and poor service. Fries stale fries not wedges.
