First Pho restaurant we tried in CA I really enjoyed the Pho Boh Tra (meat) was very good and the soup is Amazing if you have a bit of chilli spice 2 spoon. The TRà Thai was nice not too sweet as well

This place is one of my favorite Vietnamese places in Oakland. They have their own parking lot and they have an outdoor patio. I particularly like their rice plates with grilled pork chops, but haven't had a bad meal there.

Authentic Vietnamese Pho and variety of dishes. I always have the salad and shrimp minus the vermicelli(#45), making it a true Keto/Virta/low carb meal. My husband gets a meat plate, usually the 57 without the rice. Others get the Pho soup which is tasty. Portion sizes are large. We have been coming here for years. I grew up in Asia, and the atmosphere is authentic asian....so if you are looking for plastic/Dennys look, this might not be for you. But if you love authentic Pho, Vietnamese crepes, Pork chops, etc, this is the place.

THE BEST PHO AND SERVICE HANDS DOWN! Born and raised out here, been to all the pho spots and we have a-lot of good ones but this one is my favorite. Once a week two #19s is what gets me through the week haha. Great portion and high quality meat always. Thank you Pho Mekong!!

Excellent Broth, portion size and service. While most places cut cost by using a cheaper version of sriracha, pho Mekong uses the original huy fong sriracha.

PERFECT Pho takeout! Quick and easy to order over the phone Large 'goodies' bag of beansprouts, herbs, etc. Awesome broth The best part: The noodles and meats come in a to-go bowl large enough to fit all the broth once your ready to eat it. I've never seen this done before and its amazing.

I've been to Pho Mekong several times now and without fail, they consistenty deliver on the pho experience that I crave. Their pho is always dependable and delicious with ample portions of meat and topings. I generally get their #10 Tai Gau. Their sides are quite delicious too. Their wings are usually served piping hot and are incredibly flavorful. This past visit I just tried Their shrimp cake and it was extremely rich and bursting with flavor. I'd definitely order them both again. Their spring rolls are nothing fancy but they're consistent. One of the best things on their menu is their fried porkchop. It's as thin as I've seen in other pho restaurants. It's savory, full flavored, and easily one of my favorite go tos on the menu. This is all to say nothing of their kindness as people. They've always served me and my party with respect and kindness. Yes there might be a small language barrier but it makes no difference I'm usually able to order without issue. This past visit I took a lyft to the restaurant, on the way back Lyft was having server issues so I was waiting unusually long for a ride. The kind lady offered to call us a taxi and even offered us some tea and for us to wait inside even though they had closed for the night. The atmosphere is humble, quiet, and straightforward. What it lacks in a wowing atmosphere it makes up with well prepared, highly gratifying food. In the context of pho places this is definitely 5/5. Well worth the travel if you're in the mood for pho.

Stopped into this place to have Pho for breakfast. I got the Brisket, Meatball and Steak Pho. The Steak was kinda tough but the broth had depth, it was beefy and flavorful. The basil and bean sprouts were fresh, which I appreciated. I also tried the coconut juice. It was fresh off the the tree. I felt instantly hydrated after drinking it. What a treat it was to be able to scrape the inside of the coconut out and eat it fresh. 😋

Get the Pho Thai with brisket or steak. It's great....and fantastic price. Can't go wrong with this place. Not really an intimate family joint atmosphere....but the food and value are fantastic.

Broth was very rich, fatty, deep and tasty. We had the Beef Stew(meat was a little tough) with rice noodles and the Beef combo pho. The egg rolls were nothing to write home about.

The staff working there were nice but the service was lacking. We waited a while for our food to come (about 35 minutes) and when it did,it was a bit lackluster. The portions for the Bahn Xeo ordered just had small pieces of meat and shrimp. The beef pho is just average, nothing to write home about. They have nice tables and seating outside if you like. Also ,you can play the lottery at this place. Once is enough for us at this restaurant.

A typical Vietnamese restaurant: Inexpensive food, fast (and somewhat courteous) service. The place does not look very clean though, selections are also a little limited. I ordered "bun bo Hue", the meat is chewy. Please park only on main street, I saw 2 cars parked on side street with broken windows!

The pho is O.K. The noodles were weird kinda soggy when the bowl got to us. The ladies that served us were very nice, sweet even, but the place it's self could use a good cleaning. It smelled of old rotten meat when you first enter, the dining area didn't smell... Just near the Kitchen take that how you see fit. Also my sister found a Strang object on her container as we packed our food to go.

The place looks nice but I did not feel well after eating here. I think that there is gluten in the food and they don't know how to communicate about allergies. I think that if that learned about allergies they could inform their workers on the basics to avoid giving people incompatible options, but as it stands I have to recommend against it until they clarify their ingredients

Ordered online. The chicken in the pho was the toughest chicken I’ve ever had. My husband said it felt like eating jerky. Other than that, the portions were good and the flavor was, too. Tough chicken in three dishes did not make us want to order here again.

The food was garbage. Ordered BBQ beef over rice 🍚 and they gave me some small pieces of beef with a bunch of fat on it, and I don't understand how the meat was cold if I waited 20 minutes for it.
