Chipotle Fairport Reviews
Great small village tavern. Nice friendly atmosphere.
Pretty sure I paid $9.95 for the veggie burrito with cilantro rice and black beans, tomato salsa and a perfectly large dallop of guacamole! I remember when it used to be $6.95. However, it is worth it. I also got the pomegranate strawberry lemonade, it was good, then got a refill with the mandarin turmeric lemonade, which was really delicious.
We ordered thru door dash and there is a glitch that causes only the protein to show up on the restaurants end. Manager was super helpful and showed us it wasn't their mistake, made us fresh order. Everyone makes mistakes it's how you fix them that is important.
Both team members who worked this past Friday were engaging, friendly, upbeat and great at customer service and conversation while they processed my food order and payment. My burrito bowl and chips were fresh and flavorful.
This location should be the standard for others to look to. The staff is always friendly and efficient, the food is prepared quickly and is always quality, and the store is the cleanest "fast food" chain I've ever come across. 10/10 for their attitude alone; the rest is just the queso on top.
Never would usually rate a chain restaurant, but this is the best Chipotle I’ve ever been to. I go weekly now because they’ve never disappointed. The ingredients are always fresh, the staff always friendly & the quantity is always great.
Best Chipotle location I've been to. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, good fresh food, truely a role model for other locations to strive for. I just hope the quality doesn't start to slip overtime like I've witnessed at other locations.
I had a Vegan bowl with black beans, brown rice, safritas, salsa, guacamole, grilled spicy veggies. It was delicious! I could only eat half. Saved the rest for dinner. The staff was really friendly and there was plenty of room to sit down comfortably. The only less than wonderful thing is that parking is tight and shared with Starbucks.
I love the food. There's a good variety and as busy as it is all the time im sure the food is fresh.
The 3 people working here were absolutely awesome. They were all super friendly, they joked around with me and my family and they were very efficient. Food was wonderful as well. A girl came in after me who was a legit first timer and the staff was really nice to her and helped explain everything and even offered samples. 10/10 suggest coming here!
I'm only leaving this review because of Dewey. We go to Chipotle very regularly and visit all locations. Never once have we seen someone so optimistic, friendly and professional at any location. The food was great, the location was clean, and Dewey made us feel like this was more than a fast casual restaurant. Give that man a raise. This is coming from someone who owns multiple businesses - you don't come across people like him often so you need to make sure you keep him here as long as you can! Thanks Dewey
Nice to have a Chipotle in Fairport. Good food but drive thru is app orders only and app orders are very light on the portions. You're better off going inside to get your food. Either way I was happy and the food was good. 😁
Food is good for chipotles, staff is SUPER friendly and hard working. Just watched some old Karen yell at them for not having her meal ready fast enough. I guess she waited an hour but there were a few large catering orders ahead of her that the ENTIRE crew was working on to get it done. They did not respond with anger to the customer either, very respectful and tried to explain kindly but she just stormed out. 10/10 interaction
I have only been here a few times. The food is way better then Moe's. As well as the service. Seating could be better. Definitely worth the price!
They were out of Guacamole at 530pm. Server was not personable, offered no little extra or even to bring some over when they made more. Plus it's quite expensive for the portion size.
The food is almost as consistent as you can get. My issue was with the staff. There was one kid, who seemed to be newer/younger doing all the customer facing tasks when there was a line of people waiting, and at least 5 others in the back. One of them was choosing music on a Bluetooth speaker to play, and at least three were prepping guac, at 715p on a Saturday. One of the kids came up and just stood at the register, but would not actually help and make orders from those in line.
Decided to finally stop by and check out. Didn't realize their drive thru is pick up only. So I went inside, menu is limited to A burrito, a taco, a bowl or a salad. Choose a steak bowl was: 1 scoop rice, 1 scoop beans, 1 scoop steak & 2 toppings. For $15. Food was alright but definitely overpriced.
It appears 'shrinkflation' is now the operational standard at Chipotle. Ordered a quesadilla and it was mostly all tortilla. If you're going to charge for chicken and/or steak, you better be putting it in the order. Keep this up & people will go elsewhere.
The food is good. Ingredients are fresh. Service always comes with a smile. The atmosphere is a little "stainless steel,” but generally clean. Starbucks next door for dessert. Recommend the burrito bowl with burrito lining.
I love the food and the customer service here. But you need to tell people to pull around at the drive thru when their food is not ready. I got to the window tonight and they told me it would be ready in five minutes. So I made a loop and got back in line to be courteous to the other customers. I then sat in line for 25 behind just 2 cars who had no care for the 10 cars that lined up behind them. My food will now be luke warm by the time I get home because I tried to be kind. The only people that will you will upset by telling them to pull around are the jerks who are most likely to be upset with your employees anyways. This will reduce the stress in your employees, help reduce your drive time, and make your customers much happier overall.
I share this feedback not to hate, rather provide feedback on how they can approve. I frequent this location at least 1x per week. I find the burritos to be solid and properly priced for what you get. My bone of contention is around food availability, particularly on the weekends. I have tried to dine there twice in the last month on a Sunday and both times they are out of key ingredients. Today it was burrito shells and both kinds of beans. Another time it was chicken! It’s like Sunday after 5:00 they throw in the towel for the week. Left both times w/o food.
Generally, Chipotle does a very good job. You know what is coming, and rarely is it not good. This location had 3 customers ahead of me and it appeared to be two workers. I had used the app, and after 10-15 past the ready time, the restaurant line was wrapping around the dining area. I wish the app could detect a busy restaurant and alter the time the food would be ready.
I didn't dine in. I did the drive through pick up. It was ready really quickly. Food tasted good but barely anything in there. I did a keto bowl so no rice or beans but you'd think they'd give you more veggies at least?
I'll echo a lot of what you already see here. The food is typically fine in my experience but what's maddening is the portion size. Last visit, rice bowls practically overflowing and I don't know how they got the lids on. Tonight, totally opposite. My daughter's bowl had maybe 3 bites of carnitas. My son's bowl, not much better, perhaps 5 bites. Rice and beans with quesadilla, the well filled maybe 1/3 of the way well when often those sections of the container are filled to the top. If they're really trying to increase portion size as so.widely reported, some members of the team at this.location didn't get that memo--while it appears others did. It's all Forrest Gump when you order here, you never know what you're gonna get. Caveat Emptor!
I stopped months ago and noticed it was very dirty and the ice machine was broken. I figured the problem must have been taken care of by now. I was wrong. It’s filthy, no ice, out of many items just like last time.
The last three times I've been there, they messed up my order, requiring me to go back and have them redo it (which they will do, but there's one guy who will have an attitude about it). First time, their printer wasn't working, which caused the order to be mixed up as it wasn't labeled. Second time, I asked for light rice and they put about a tbsp in (barely any rice, not the half amount that normally comes w/ light rice). This time, they drowned my salad in the vinaigrette that is supposed to come on the side and didn't put steak on it, even though it was on the sticker. I love Chipotle, but I'm getting real tired of getting home just to turn around because it's wrong every time.
always my go to location. just pretty disappointed this time. ordered through door dash and got a sad excuse of a burrito, was pretty much just tortilla. wouldn't recommend ordering through doordash.
Gave me the last of the chicken asked for double portion of meet did not get that was not enjoyable will not go to this location again. VERY RUSHED WITH SERVING FOODS STOOD IN LINE FOR A WHILE NO SPOONS AT THE STAND HAD TO WAIT FOE PROPER SILVERWARE
Bowls had tiny portions and wrong proportions. Burritos looked like they were rolled like a towel. Fail. I’ll avoid this location.
My family and I have ordered from this location many times and have had nothing but issues. Between rude employees, hair in food on multiple occasions, poor food quality and wrong/missing items we have never complained. However tonight my wife, who is a vegetarian, had chicken put in her bowl and we’re just over it at this point. So disappointing to see service quality continually dropping with no signs of improvement in the future.
I am someone who frequents this store and usually do not have any issues. My most recent experience, I show up at 5:00 in the evening absolutely starving and there is not a single other customer in the store (you’d be expect everything to be well prepped given these circumstances). I got a bowl, and the rice was so undercooked that I was afraid I was gonna chip a tooth if I tried chewing it. Every forkful of food in a rice bowl will have pieces of rice in it, so essentially every single forkful was chewing on at least one rock hard pellet of rice. I am someone who easily will eat an entire bowl at Chipotle and I could not even finish barely half of it. I was pulling out tiny pieces of rice that felt like pieces of plastic in my mouth. Lastly, when I was waiting to check out, two employees were laughing and having a conversation in the back. I was eating in so my bowl was sitting on the tray next to the register. The woman running the register laughs into a cough attack and coughs right in the direction my food from a few feet away. Like cmon bro
They are always out of fajita vegetables so its not worth going to if you are looking for vegetarian options
I was served under cooked rice. Half of it was raw and other have was dry and crunchy. GROSS and unappetizing. This location is always slacking.
This was one of the dirtiest restaurants I've ever been in. The tables were dirty, the food prep/ service area was a disaster and the garbage hadn't been emptied so people were piling trash in nearby tables. This was at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. They also were out of chips and the water at the soda dispenser was not water😬
I want to start out my review by saying the manager at the restaurant was really nice. However in the past week and a half I’ve ordered from here twice. The first time mine and my husbands bowls were not right at all. We placed the order for pickup both times we’ve ordered in the past week and a half. The first time our order was wrong my husband drove 20 minutes and brought it back and went inside and they remade our bowls with no issues. This time I went to pickup our bowls and specifically asked the girl at the drive thru window if she could make sure whoever made them did it correctly because the last time within the past week and a half it was wrong. She told me she was the one who made the bowls and that it was all correct. I got home and ofc they were both wrong once again. They were both missing the correct portion of food and didn’t have extra of the things asked for. Mine was supposed to have extra lettuce, cheese and rice. Mine had maybe a scoop of rice if that, a tiny sprinkle of cheese and like 5 pieces of lettuce. My husband’s was fine besides him only having about a scoop or less of rice when he asked for extra as well. So anyways once again he drives back there for the second time in not even 2 weeks and he wanted to go in but the line was all the way to the front door of the restaurant so he went back to the drive thru to talk to the same woman who said she made the bowls because she said they were done correctly. He then tells her about the issues and she comes back with a cup of rice. So he asked for a manager and she never brought the manager over she just went back and got veggies and brought that to him. I was on the phone with chipotle at the same time he was at the drive thru because he called me to tell me all she did was give him a cup of rice. I asked to speak to the manager and she was very nice and wanted to give me the number for a refund. I said I don’t want a refund I just want the bowls made correctly. She ended up remaking our bowls thankfully and they were done right. The point of this whole review I guess is I hope the woman who made the bowls sees this or maybe the manager will see this and hopefully something will change with the drive thru pickup orders because as I said this was the second time in a week and a half it’s been wrong. Gas isn’t cheap and when someone pays for food at a restaurant or a fast food place we expect it to be done correctly and if something isn’t done right we expect that someone will help fix the issue. As I said the manager was very nice and I believe her name was Tori so shoutout to her for being so kind and remaking our bowls but whoever the woman was who was at the drive thru that lied to me and smiled in my face like it was funny when I came through the first time asking if the orders were right I hope you genuinely try and fix your mistakes and work on your customer service. Pickup used to be super convenient for us and now I feel like going to a different chipotle or like I have to go in each time just to make sure everything is correct because lately nothing is. Hopefully things change soon or we will not come here anymore. Thanks again to Tori
Since this location opened, we’ve had more than a few issues with our orders. From them consistently running out of ingredients to wait times for a pickup order. Now today really took the cake.. we ordered online, two bowls. Picked them up and headed to Victor. Sat down to eat and both bowls have undercooked rice and raw fajita vegetables. Couldn’t eat either bowl because the rice wasn’t at all cooked. Expensive meal to have to throw out. You have to do better!
I’ll paint you a picture: 7:30pm. No rice for 5 min, it’s cooking. No letttuce. No chicken. Food prep area is a mess. Not a single thank you or apology from the staff for the wait or the sad lack of crucial ingredients. Just young people working with no care for good service and no management in sight ever.
I wouldn’t recommend ordering and picking up through the drive through, it seems like every other order takes precedence over those. Ordered, waited 30 minutes, got in line, waited an additional 30 minutes with only a few cars ahead of me. The staff came over after about 10 minutes of me being at the window, it’s fine if you’re busy but you should at least say something to the people waiting. The food and the staff were fine. I’ll just order inside from now on though. Unsure if I will return to this location.
This has to be the one of the worst managed chipotles in the area. They are almost always out of napkins, a meat or a chimichurri. the staff has no awareness of how to clean up the table or their work station. i eat here all the time and couldnt ignore writing a review after the last visit where they were out of two meats, sauce with an empty restaurant littered with dirty tables, trash, arguing with more than two drive through orders about whether it was wrong or not. i could go on.. its a chipotle so ultimately the food is good but this one is very poorly run.
Drive the 10 extra minutes and go to the Victor location. This location constantly messes up my order or serves over cooked scraps from the bottom of the bowls. I have given this location many times to redeem itself, yet I am constantly disappointed.
This location is hit or miss. There's clearly "B Team" days and today was one of them. Chips weren't right, burrito tasted funny, bowl missing extras (including the $7 extra protein). They clearly don't care though.
I came from out of town to grab a quick dinner. They got the order completely wrong, screwing up my diet. I drove home before learning that my food was wrong. It was so wrong, I couldn’t eat it, after downgrading $20 on one bowl. I had to go grab different food entirely. I will never eat here again. The kids that work there clearly don’t care. What a frustrating night. Skip this place and hit up anywhere else.
Just a head's up that this location is not honoring the Friday the 13th BOGO promotion. Their management is saying the tattoo must be Chipotle related.
The last 2 times I have ordered from this location our order has been subpar. Didn’t have steak last night, did not have tortillas, did not even call to tell us. They did not send my drink either . The food was inedible due to how spicy it was. They forgot ingredients. Just a overall terrible experience. Never had a issue ordering from the location in Victor. Always a great experience. Chose the location in Fairport due to being closer to my residence. Will most likely just order from Victor moving forward.
Absolutely do not order from a meal delivery service from here. Just go in. Nothing is more disappointing than when you just want something tasty or comfort food and the order is awful. Food isn’t packaged properly, it’s cold, it’s minimal amounts.
Been here multiple times only to find they are taking online orders only. Turning l”lobby” customers…. Waste of time lost a customer
This location is terrible. Consistently small portion sizes. My last burrito bowl was was the worst one I’ve ever had in my life - the steak was overcooked and dry, and the rice was so hard I nearly chipped a tooth. Super bland overall. Take it from me - go to the Victor location instead.
This place has messed up my order about 50% of the time I order from here. I just order a simple bowl and there’s seemingly random stuff in it every time. I’m not sure how this happens because it is correct on the label each time. It’s conveniently located near my work which is the only reason I still go back. They also actively ignore cars in the drive thru line and it builds up. Go to the Victor Chipotle if you can.
First time at Fairport chipotle. Burrito half built, adding toppings and they ran out of salsa the person before me and said that it would be 15 mins for more. I asked for guac at no charge instead. Manager said “NO!” I said really?!? It’s my first experience here. “Sorry!” Told them then they could eat it or throw it out. Over to trusty TacoBell!
This location is by far the worst we have ever been to. Portions are small and often are missing multiple ingredients. For instance, we just ordered a kids steak taco meal and got home to find no steal insight, just cheese and rice!! 100% worth the few extra miles to Victor!
make sure to actually add chicken... there was like nothing in my bowl
Horrible place. Slow service. They make people stand in line for 30 minutes and when customers finally get their turn to order they will tell them that they ran out of the ingredients.
I come here everyday and buy multiple bowls for my family for convince to go out on the boat after work. i buy multiple bowls everyday and own a very successful business near buy. I was unfortunately told under no circumstances could i order a quesadilla with out using the app. Iet them know they have forever lost my business and i wont reffer anyone or visit another location again. Wegmans subs and Debells it is. Horrible business model!!! What if you dont have a smart phone. What a trash company.
Employees clearly do not want to serve customers.
Worst Chipotle in ny avoid at all cost
Very skimpy on portions and food is usually old. I started going to the victor one service is way better and they give you full portions. Save your money
Do yourself a favor and never go to this chipotle. They somehow messed up 3 out of the 4 things we ordered. It’s as if they gave us whatever was left over sitting there and didn’t even try to make it correctly. Waste of money.
How is a restaurant this new already this bad lol. After waiting in a very very slow like when I finally saw the food I left. Old. Cold. Dry. This place is under a year old they should just demolish it already it served better as a parking lot.
This place is terrible. I hate ordering from here. They almost never get the order correct, they leave stuff out all the time and never tell you… but you still get to pay for it! The drive thru lane is frequently backed up as no one is stationed at the pickup window. Terribly run location.
Quality is terrible lately. WHERE IS MANAGEMENT?? CHIPOTLE CORPORATE - ARE YOU LISTENING TO THESE REVIEWS?? Our last few online orders have had items missing and/or made completely incorrectly. Barbacoa from here came in one big disgusting lump. How on earth does someone pick that garbage up with tongs and serve it? Is management even involved?? Food is constantly cold. Chipotle issues refunds but how about TRAINING YOUR STAFF TO CARE
Never once has this location been stocked with all ingredients, they shouldn’t offer fajita veggies or vinaigrette if they never have it.
Stopped in there with a few friends and grabbed a bite to eat at 7:45 p.m. and they were out of cheese(and guac). When I asked if I could have queso for free, The guy acted like that was the most ridiculous request he'd ever heard.
Waited 30 minutes past time promised. They were out of cheese. Place was a mess. Staff did amazing job servicing customers considering the absurd situation employer Chipotle put them in.
I’m writing to express disappointment regarding a recent visit to your store. What appeared to be a difficult situation—being understaffed and overwhelmed with orders—was unfortunately handled in an unprofessional manner. At around 5 PM, during what seemed to be a rush hour, the manager emerged from the back and began yelling at customers, eventually closing the store. At no point were any customers behaving inappropriately or being irate; the crowd remained patient and understanding. The reaction from the manager, however, created an uncomfortable scene that seemed unnecessary and avoidable. While we understand that staffing issues can create stress, this situation could have been handled much better with calm communication and empathy. Closing the store five hours prior to its normal operating time without clear, respectful explanation left a negative impression. I hope this feedback can be used to improve how such situations are managed in the future—for the sake of both customers and staff.
The girl that gave us our food wasn’t very kind she argued with me that the two sides I always order she charged me 9 bucks as a veggie three pointer when it was rice and corn and am never charged that. The rice was cold and the amount of chicken on the other order was half the size of what we normally get.
All three of our bowls were missing items, and our order of chips and salsa was missing completely. Instead of refunding me for the items I paid for and didn't receive, Chipotle's solution was to give me a coupon for chips and guacamole. Feels like they stole my money.
DO NOT GET FROM THIS CHIPOTLE! Probably 7 out of my last 10 orders from here were simply wrong. Am I the problem for still ordering from here when it’s almost always going to be wrong? Maybe. But please learn from my mistakes!
I am a single mother on a single mom budget. I order from here as a treat. Every time I have to pay extra for items and they are missing from the order. I try to reach someone from the store and I'm connected to someone who barely speaks English from a customer care center. I'm beyond annoyed and fed up. Anytime I try to do something for myself I get screwed over, and of course this store makes the money from the extra items I pay for. I got 5 dollars in a refund from Uber eats and the driver refused to go back to the store to deal with the issue. Never ordering from here again. It's ridiculous unless I'm right there watching them make the food my order is never right, I get skimpy portions and missing items that I'm looking forward to. Now I have to drive out of my way with two kids just to maybe have some resolution. -50 stars.
Almost $18 for a rather small steak bowl. What a complete rip off. I was up charged over $6 for a spoon of guacamole and a spoonful of queso that they offered as though it was included. At the checkout I was told that the prices were indeed posted on the glass(which they were). So yes, I was wrong but I won't go back for such high prices and low portions. Those extras are a joke. It's no wonder people struggle to afford going out to eat.
Went into this location to place an order. At checkout, the pertain in front of me seemed to know the cashier and was chasing with him. When it was my turn to pay, the cashier exclaimed "oh no" after I had put my credit card in to pay. The cashier hadn't ensued the customer in front of me paid for his food, and so I was charged for it. He ran after customer, and after that person paid, I asked for a refund. After playing with register for a minute he went to go find a manager. The manager came out and said that they can not give a refund in store (what?!?!) and that I had to call customer service to get a refund. I was mad - how can they take money but not refund it in store? And the manager provided no other instructions other than to call, "its so easy". When I questioned this and said "so I just call and they'll just believe me? I don't need a transaction number (which I didn't have bc they didn't give me a receipt)? What's to stop me from lying and saying I spent $50? This makes no sense" to which the manager smugly replied "idk why you'd lie!" That wasn't the point. I was merely trying to illustrate that without proof of purchase other than two transactions on my credit card, I found it really hard to believe that customer service would just refund me, seeing as they aren't at the store to witness that I was indeed charged incorrectly. I paid for my food and left, and immediately called customer service. Not surprisingly, he asked for my transaction number, time of transaction, etc. None of which was given to me, even though I questioned this! The phone call was followed up by an email where I had to provide a many details as I could to get a refund. Then I got another email asking for a bank statement- which I didn't have bc those come at the end of the month and this transaction was payed on July 1st. I instead provided a copy of my online banking with proof of the charge. To this day, I have not been refunded. I called again today and still do not have a refund. The customer service is poor, the management offered no apologies and did a little a possible to rectify the situation. This happened on June 28th
This particular store is terrible. Have gone there multiple times around 7pm and I am told to leave as they are closed (signs say 10pm or later). Apparently short staffed and nobody cares. Don't bother.
This place should be shut down or get an entire new well-trained staff. That is the 3rd time they mess up my order. Today they gave us 4 pieces of dry beef(steak) in what was supposed to be 3 full bowl orders of rice, beans, corn, salsa, lettuce sour cream ect... Instead we got just a few pieces of dry steak. The manager can barely speak English and was rude. He would not even let me talk, so I left with no food yet they pocket my money and would not fix my order nor offer credit or a refund. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Just go to Victor or Pittsford, the food is better there. This location is a complete disgrace! It's just ruining the Chipotle franchise reputation. Plus, the place is filthy. I wasted money, time and energy. What a disaster in terms of customer service. Close it down or hire an entire new staff!
I placed a mobile order to go. Arrived 5 mins early (expected to wait). 30 mins later my order is still it out. A party of 12 came in and everything stopped for them. The drive thru line wasn’t moving, pickup inside (where I am) not moving. “We were told to just wait.” Literally, just wait!
I ordered a chicken quessadila online because it's digital only. The app didn't give me option to add more chicken or cheese. When I went to pick up the quesedilla the cashier only had a sorry to say. I also asked for extra rice and beans on the side and didn't get that either. The quesadilla was super small as well. I also went to call the store ahead of time and there was no phone number showing online for this chopotle. Overall very disappointing service will not be coming back here again. They used to give three pieces of quesilla and now it's two small ones and before they were a bigger size as well. I spent almost $15 for nothing.
Apparently never has money. Made $40 worth of food, to be told they don’t have change and it’s card only….where was the sign?!?! No where! So all the food was just dumped in the trash. Place is always dirty, and employees just stare at you when you ask if they can clean a table.
We were the last people there and it was prior to closing, order was placed online. They messed up my bowl completely, it was missing fajita veggies, black beans, lettuce but had a tonne of cheese on top that I didn’t order (I don’t eat cheese). My husband’s bowl had the fajita veggies I asked for (he doesn’t eat them). It was such a disaster that we had to order chipotle at another location and go all the way to get them while we starved. Considering this location has so many bad reviews management should change the staff. Something is seriously wrong here.
Absolutely unacceptable over the last month - it was closed with a sign on door during middle of the day - no explanation. Unable to order online or call in an order. Went there at 4:30 pm today only a few people inside - server said no rice available for 1/2 hour. We left and went to the Victor location and had no issues.
Trash. Quality sucks. And don’t waste your time filling out any feedback forms. They’ll offer a free drink even though you paid for three crappy meals that barely had chicken, lettuce or cheese in them. Nice job wrapping our online orders in foil w no lids. Save your money and skip this location. They also couldn’t make the basic orders. Cheese was missing on one and there was maybe a tsp on the other. Pretty straightforward order but I guess it wasn’t worth their time and effort to do the job right.
CLOSE THE FAIRPORT LOCATION OR FIRE ALL THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF. They make the whole corporation look lazy, rude and stupid.. which DOES NOT reflect Chipotle’s efficiency and food quality. I was so excited when I found out a location was opening up in Fairport. But since the beginning, this location has been unimpressive on a good day. At first, I figured they were new and just getting the lay of the land and training new people… but now it’s been years. And thing have only gotten worse instead of better. Sorry in advance, I’m about to write an essay, scroll down to the bottom for the fun stuff. I am originally from Fairport, but moved to Colorado in 2006. I have been going to Chipotle since 2007 (Colorado Springs then Fort Collins then various locations in Denver.) Every once in awhile the burrito was not wrapped super well or the chicken did not have the same level of spice as usual, but that was always the worst of it. How can somewhere be that consistently efficient, have tasty food, and fast moving professional staff across multiple locations? I don’t know - I am not a restaurant owner or food preparer.. I don’t have those skills. But you know who does?? Chipotle! I have traveled all over the US and Chipotle is always a bastion of quality food and consistent and professional service, even in the Rochester, NY area. When I moved back here from CO, I was worried since Chipotle was relatively new in the region. I chose to go to the Victor location - guess what! Consistently efficient and kind staff, great tasting Chipotle quality food. Then a location was opened in Fairport - since it was 4 minutes from my house, that became my new location. The only Chipotle-like aspect of this location is consistency. Consistently: - rude staff that are very annoyed to have to simply take your order and cash you out - running out of food all the time and lying by saying all locations are out of a given food (I have tested this by going to Victor and/or Pittsford immediately after being told they’re out of chicken and guac). - food that tastes and feels like it was cooked the night before and has just been sitting there since. I have watched staff members talk to each other, literally point and laugh at customers, and throw bowls/food/etc. (not crazy throwing but tossing) around - all while I or others stand there waiting for our order to be taken. No they were not working on something else. No this was not just one time. Once an employee who was handling cash with her gloves on, walked down to take my order (with the typical scowl associated with this location) and started making my food with the same gloves she was just touching money with. I asked her to change her gloves, she rolled her eyes, threw her gloves on the floor and put new ones on. No I am not a mean obnoxious customer. No I don’t have super complicated specific orders. But believe what you want lol Today, I go in. No one is there except an employee who was cashing out with some other employee. I stood there quietly for 5 minutes before he ambles down to me and says “what do you need?” I ordered and he slides it down to the cashier and says “you get all that?” Then walks away. Of course the food was cold and old as usual for this location. This time though I was sick of it and am therefore writing this post. This location needs to close or fire everyone and start over.
I like this chipotle in general. Great food and usually good service. Although, when the website states that they close at 10pm and the doors are locked at 9:25 thats ridiculous.
Every time I come to this Chipotle, I leave disappointed, particularly after 7:00pm. The staff always seem absolutely miserable and it projects onto the customers. The employee that served me tonight was extremely rude, like I was an inconvenience for ordering food. My burrito got thrown in a bag and literally hit across the counter to me with an attitude for simply ordering it. I always come hoping it will be a better experience than the last time, and it’s not. The store is always a mess and the staff is constantly unfriendly. I will not be returning to this location.
I don’t typically leave reviews, but we ordered mobile to go tonight and despite showing up on time, it took an additional 15-20 minutes to get to the window. Once there, no one was tending the window, there were easily 10 orders sitting on the shelf, and 6+ cars behind me. The reason was obvious. Instead of having someone hand out the already prepared food, they would hand out one order, disappear for 5 minutes, and then reappear for the next order. Waiting at the window for my 5 minutes, I honked at the window several times and watched several employees ignore me. I lost it with the poor guy who finally did respond. He tried telling me that they were short-staffed, but I had just watched him leisurely laughing in the store. It sure didn’t seem like he was in any hurry. If you must order from this store, don’t go through the mobile drive-through line.
Trying to support the local Chipotle fundraiser was impossible. Why? Because the workers were beyond rude (calling OUT to you as you walked in that they didn't want you there), ran out of ingredients by 7:45 p.m., and had zero intentions of restocking any of them. Super, super disappointing.
Literally the worst chipotle ever. Every single time I go they have no food. “Do you have chicken coming?” “No sorry we still have to make some” “I’ll have brown rice please” “sorry that will be 10 minutes” like are you stupid it’s literally your job to make food how do you not have anything ready? It’s actually comical how bad that place is and the workers are embarrassing. Don’t know how nothing has changed it’s been like this for years.
Extremely disappointed in the quality of service and food today. The "assembly line" felt more like being barked at—the employees were very dismissive and rushed me through the process. On top of the bad attitude, the food wasn't fresh, and they were out of staples like brown rice. For the price of a bowl these days, I expected much better.
This got to be the worst chipotle ever! We usually order online once or twice a month and for the last year they screwed up EVERY SINGLE ORDER!!! Just in the last four orders they gave me a bowl instead of the burrito EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Then today I checked and there was a burrito in the bag, but once I got home I have discovered that there’s no salsa, peppers, or corn inside and the whole thing is 2/3 white rice when I asked for a little bit of brown rice. This is THE WORST CHIPOTLE EVER. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FORM THERE!!!!
Waited in long line to be told they don’t make regular size quesadillas unless you mobile order. Asked for a kids chicken quesadilla and then worker refused to put chicken inside the quesadilla and would only give it on the side. Not one table was clean and the garbage was overflowing. Run the other way.
I wish I could leave a lower score, but waiting over 30 minutes for an order is ridiculous. They’re not plucking chickens back there! After asking about my order, the reply was, “I don’t want to stress her back there.” Super… why be concerned with your customer…. And thanks for the stale chips.
We had a terrible experience. The place was filthy. Dirty dishes everywhere. A worker came in from outside and made food without gloves and not having washed hands. They were out of chips, chocolate milk, fajita veggies, tea, napkins, and plastic ware. There was no offer of a refund. I would not recommend anyone come here. Management must be notified. For a family with severe allergies, we had multiple cross contamination issues, as well as three ingredients we did not order smothering a burrito bowl for someone with severe food allergies. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Preparation counter was filthy. Employees were hard to work with. Almost got charged for something I didn’t get. Then they didn’t have change, as in actual coins for my $20 bill. To top it all off I got everything to go and the drink I got must have run out of the syrup because it’s just fizz. Avoid this location.
My wife and I used to get online orders from here at least once a month. Recently, the service has deteriorated and they cannot honor the online orders properly or on time. When they failed to provide the correct, premium items I ordered I had to go through corporate (via NYS Consumer Protection) to get a refund for the extra cost. The chipotlane has also become useless, see the attached photo.
The clerk behind the counter messed up the person’s order in front of me. So the person didn’t take both his meals, only one. Two seconds later, the clerk is looking at me asking me what I want on it. I said that’s the meal you messed up that he’s not taking. He moves it from the counter. I proceed with my three bowls. Somehow the messed up bowl that the man left ended up in my bag And not what I ordered!! I have tried calling, I have tried the app, I have tried Facebook to get someone to fix their mistake. No one will take accountability.
I ordered ahead for pickup, but what I got was almost the exact opposite of what I ordered. I was looking forward to my meal, but key ingredients I requested were missing, and things I specifically didn’t want were added instead. It was clear no one double-checked the order before handing it off. Disappointing, especially since pickup should be the easiest way to get the order right. Will not be coming back and do not recommend. :(
I was here about 2 weeks ago. I was the only person in line. The lady walked over to me while wiping her guacamole gloves all over her apron and then proceeded to make my order. GROSS! I was in such shock I never asked her to replace her gloves. I asked for a bowl. I get rice, the new steak, cheese, sour cream and lettuce. I was given 5 pieces of steak, and barely anything. When I asked if I could have more lettuce I think they put 5 pieces on. I then asked for the vinaigrette which they then said we are out of. Ok, at this point someone from behind the counter came out I’m assuming on their lunch break to order. They said “oh my gosh you can’t be out of that guys!” They proceeded to just stare at me. The last time I had been there and they had been out, a nice gentleman said oh I will make it fresh right now for you! Took about 5-10 mins. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE this time. There were probably 8 people working. There was plenty of time and hands to make some. I then get to the counter and was charged $16!!!!!!! As soon as I got to my car i filled out the survey on the receipt. I have yet to hear back. So here I am writing this. I will absolutely never be coming back here which is sad as I work right down the road and used to love to come here.
