The food was great and the service was excellent. It's was not very busy. I found it odd, that a restaurant like this would close at 7 pm Monday through Thursday, and at 9 pm Friday and Saturday. Especially since it's a resort hotel.

Aqua Terra is a beautiful restaurant. We sat near a the window with a golf course view, with mountains beyond. We had a delightfull waitress named Andrea. The tempura fried asparagus was fantastic! The cobb salad was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

We had the pleasure of dining at Aquarerra restaurant on Halloween (2024). Our waiters’ name was Matt. Matt did everything right. He made the experience completely enjoyable. He catered to our every whim. The food was outstanding; very flavorful. I have been going through some health issues and this was my first time dining out in at least a month. Matt made it an overall wonderful experience. We can’t wait to go back. I had the Cioppino and my husband had fish and chips. Both were outstanding.

Beautiful! We sat outaide just off the gold clurse and had breafast. The eggs were pretty amazing and the thick cut bacon did not disappoint. I ordered the bottomless Mimosa which helped wash everything down.

Had our company Christmas dinner here last Friday and the service and food exceeded my expectations. They had our reservations down for 90 minutes later than I had reserved, but when we arrived they seated us right away and quickly got us appetizers and drinks. The restaurant was packed, yet our drinks never went empty and the service was the best I had received in years from all the staff. Nicole was our server and was on top of everything! Appetizers and Entrees were hot and delicious. Very happy we chose to celebrate there. We will definitely be back!

I've eaten here 5-6 times over the last 5 years. Service is always great and the food is terrific! The sushi and apps are fresh and great for sharing. Dinner dishes are hearty and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend the catfish I had it just last night and it was scrumptious! Good deals if you're local during the week.

New chef, good menu, tasty drinks with a good variety of cocktails & beer/wine selection. The golf course view from the dog friendly patio is pleasant. Live music on Friday nites. As a Fallbrook local I frequent this place monthly and it's always an enjoyable experience!

Our server Ciriaco León, was professionally attentive and made us feel very comfortable. He never let our cups of wine get empty and the chef served us the sea bass which was perfectly cooked which is difficult to do when it is over an inch thick. So for that, amazing. Not crazy about the sides, but that fish was exquisite. Nice ambience and decor.

We had a spontaneous dinner here on a Monday night. They close at 7 pm. Our service was excellent as was our Shrimp Scampi. My husband and I shared the plate, and it was plenty for both of us. We also ordered the Tempura Asparagus. It was very yummy with the sauce they pair it with. It was not very busy, they do have music on some nights. Lovely setting.

Update: I have loves and will always love Pala Mesa. When under the right leadership, Aquaterra is excellent. Although I stand by my previous experience, this is still a fabulous place to stay, play golf, and eat. I have been here hundreds of times, and I’ve seen it high and low, but when they hit the mark, it is a great place. Professional golf course, very nice hotel, and great food. Go see for yourself. Now come Pala Mesa, hit the mark and be the best in town again! Very slow/non existent service. For the price to eat there, you should expect more. Very sad because it had so much potential but just lacks in so many areas. Hope things turn around and the managers make the necessary changes.

The food is quite good but the wine list is lacking. I have had the salmon tacos which are really delicious and the tempura asparagus is yummy but it would be nice to pair these dishes with a nice wine.

It's definitely outdated but has no reflection on the very nice people that work there. I think the new owners are going to make some big changes for the positive!

The food is quite good but the wine list is lacking. I have had the salmon tacos which are really delicious and the tempura asparagus is yummy but it would be nice to pair these dishes with a nice wine.

Service was good. Food was upscale bar food. Happy hour wine is good quality. Sadly they were out of 3 different items we wanted. That was really sad 😥 We are new to the area and were excited about this place. Maybe we will try again, not sure.

Such a disappointment. So much potential. Used to have amazing chef, live entertainment. What happened to this beautiful place? We have an airbnb and struggle recommending restaurants in Fallbrook. So sad. We send everyone to Temecula. 🥺

Such a disappointment. So much potential. Used to have amazing chef, live entertainment. What happened to this beautiful place? We have an airbnb and struggle recommending restaurants in Fallbrook. So sad. We send everyone to Temecula. 🥺
