Buffalo Bar Fish Camp Reviews
The dinner was delicious and the place is cozy. The customer service is amazing. Our waitress was very attentive, kind, and caring. Her name was Geri. We had the Salmon dish. Delicious and we had the dessert bourbon toffee cake. Delicious the place is nice. Before your reservation have a drink at the bar. The bartender makes an amazing “Old Fashion” drink.
The food is amazing!!! I got the ribeye steak and a margarita!! The steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare. The mixed vegetables still had a great bite and lightly seasoned. The mashed potatoes with bacon topped it off. Got a chance to meet one of the owners/chefs. He came out to make sure everything was enjoyable. The wait staff made sure our experience was 5-star! I will definitely be back!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The perfect way to end our Californian adventure!
Cosy restaurant, simple menu. Server was great. Nice food. Crab cake n burger was nice! Seriously don’t understand the unkind reviews as I see everyone in other tables enjoying themselves too. 👍🏽👍🏽
Alisha the waitress was so attentive, and the food… omg the food was so delicious, I was recently at Ahwahnee and I have to say I was more pleased with Aroma and Buffalo bar so recommended…
Amazing but slow service, I ordered 2 pasta but after 15 minutes we thought we can survive with 1. Talked to waitress and she happily updated our order. Thank you. It has nice ambience too. Given the location prices are justified. We stayed at the inn and would definitely come back.
Cozy atmosphere with quality wood furniture and bar, great drink selection, and very tasty, high quality food (Kobe and Italian Sausage meatballs anyone?), would highly recommend and don't underestimate this small place, it is a gem in the shadow of El Capitan.
Great cozy environment! Perfect for after a long day of adventure in Yosemite National park. Food is great and of a great price. The service is good too, though the staff there seemed a little overwhelmed by the amount of people dining. But that’s probably because we visited during the thanksgiving weekend. Great place to stop by when you visit Yosemite!
Wow! The food and cocktails were delicious. This restaurant is on par with 5-star options in the Bay Area. Extremely friendly staff. Great seating options near a fire or near the large windows. This establishment has my business whenever I'm in town.

This is a lovely little tavern with DELICIOUS food. Menu options featured locally sourced ingredients and everything tasted extremely fresh. I had shrimp tacos and my hubby had a smash burger. Both were excellent and much appreciated after a long day of exploring Yosemite. The staff was very welcoming as well. Worth the stop on your way out of the park!
Had a great meal in this place. The staff were busy but attentive and helpful. Tried the chicken pot pie and it was excellent. Dessert were also great. All in all, I'm happy to have been in to eat and would go in again with no issues.
We came here mid week, only a few couples here. Great wait staff. Great cocktails, very nice meal.
Our server tonight was awesome - the food was divine. Ambiance impeccable. 10/10 would come again As a vegetarian this place was super because they made all the mains adaptable, for example the smash burger had a lions mane patty substitute!!!
Alex was the BEST hostess, waitress and Barista! She made us an amazing blueberry lemonade to go eith our awesome smash burger and topped off with locally made strawberry ice cream. We sat outside on the covered patio alone and enjoyed the peace and quiet! We will be back since we are only a few hours away. Thanks Alex for helping to make my husband's birthday surprise even more surprising! You make the place even better!
The double-double cheeseburger. The crunchy, salty fries. Both were excellent. You can’t say the fries were “on the side,” because they stand out. The Cobb salad, tasty. The service, from host to waitress to runner, was first class, essentially very nice people who know what they’re doing (and do it well) and the food they’re serving. If you’re wondering what the kicker is in the chicken pot pie, the server told me. Paprika.

Even if you're not staying at the adjacent narrow gauge Inn, this is a good place to stop for food. They have a white range of foods cooked and spiced just right. They have a variety of local brews to try, as well as traditional favorites. The service was far and beyond any expectations. And I doubt there is any restaurant on the Mountain that can beat the view from their dining hall.

This looked to be the best option in the area for fine dining. I was pretty disappointed with the food but the service was excellent. We started with the fried eggs, which were interesting but unremarkable. I was very much looking forward to the butternut squash soup but it was inedible. It was broth consistency and Overpowered by nutmeg or some other very strong spices and I couldn’t even taste the butternut squash. The vegetarian “pot pie” was a side dish sized bowl of veggies with a puff pasty accent. It was delish ish but not entree sized. My partner had the rib eye (“it was fine” ) with an avocado “bernaise” (it was guacamole) and came with French fries. For dessert we had the cheesecake which wasn’t worth ordering. Overall not worth the money for a mediocre dinner. Service was outstanding.

I had the chicken wings and the fettuccini pesto-alfredo. Both were strange. The wings: I've never seen wings with such thick breading. And they left the skin on which means under the thick coating of breading there was a soggy layer of fat and skin that couldn't crisp up due to all the breading. The flavor was decent, however surprisingly salty considering they were served with an array of sauces on the side (buffalo, bbq, and what may have been blue cheese). Why did they need to be so salty if they're meant to be dipped in sauce? The fettuccini pesto-alfredo: Even worse than the wings. I dont think they should even be calling it an alfredo sauce. It was more of a cream sauce with a decidedly soupy consistency. There was a green tinge to the sauce but since it didnt taste much like pesto, I assumed it was just from the finely minced green stuff on the top (looked like parsley?). One of the dishes and one of the knives at the table were dirty, which I swapped for clean ones from another table (it took me two tries because the first one I grabbed was dirty too). I liked the decor and ambiance, but with such a nice atmosphere and such high prices, I had been expecting a higher class of food.

Came to this place based on good reviews and was so disappointed. To begin with, the menu in the restaurant didn’t match at all the on line menu. Then the waiter informed us that most of the items on the menu are not available as “they sold out of everything, not expecting so many customers “. Mind you, it’s a Memorial Day weekend! Then we waited for a very long time to get our food. Out of 5 meals we ordered, two were not bad. The rest was just so mediocre. The only good thing about this place was our waiter, who tried to do his absolute best
We were there on Father's Day and hoped for a special meal, but were disappointed. The steak was overcooked (ordered rare and it was more brown than pink) and it had weird guacamole on top; we were offered no bread/rolls, no salad, no ice in the water, and had to ask the server for salad dressing to put on the side dish greens. It was way overpriced for mediocre food and slow service with no extras.

This place looks really cool, however, my family and I showed up over an hour till closing and were told they couldn't serve us because it's "close to closing" and since we don't have a reservation. I've worked in the restaurant industry my whole life and this is not good business, nor is it good customer service. This restaurant does not require reservations, but don't waste your time pulling into this place because they will close their kitchen whenever they choose and turn away whoever they choose to turn away. The restaurant had quite a few customers dining when we showed up, but still lots of tables open. There was simply no reason for this other than they simply decided they were done for the night. Don't waste your time coming here.
