Good local option for authentic Mexican food in a fast casual setting. Chile relleno burrito was yummy.

We stopped in last night after a big hike. I got the supreme burrito and it did not disappoint. I especially liked the salsa bar and reasonable prices. Very hard working staff. This place is definitely worth visiting if you’re craving good Mexican food.

Authentic seemingly family owned Mexican experience. Good food and the price was good. The young guy at the counter was super attentive and helpful when it came to dietary restrictions and helped us out without us even realizing it! (Let us know that the burrito is not Halal due to chicken stock in rice and pork in the beans)

Update to the Update!! Insider tip: If you like really spicy, ask for the good stuff from the kitchen. It will light yiu up! Update: "Great value for authentic Mexican food and personable people on the other side of the counter! We've made this a regular stop for us!Upgraded to 5 stars" ........I've stopped in a few times and always good. I had an asada quesadilla and 2 tacos. I asked which of the sauces were the most spicy and they whipped up some custom sauce with some good kick! Always good and I'll definitely be back.

Good portions for an amazing price. I can tell lots of locals eat there. They have a salsa bar. We got our food really fast. I just wish they played some Mexican music. Lots of parking around the building.

Anytime I am heading to Yosemite, or heck, if I just want some really great Mexican food, this has become an instant favorite. Chips were dynamite. Thin…crispy…warm…perfectly salted. Salsa- the salsa you order with the chips is a must. It is great and will satisfy your soul. Salsa bar- their other salsas are incredible- pico del gallo oh baby - macerated and spicy onions look out - verde, avocado salsa, spicy- hands down the best salsa bar in the valley. Loved it. Food- we got tacos because they were recommended…but anything on their menu looked great as other in the restaurant ordered anything but tacos. My wife got the vegetarian…I got carnitas and Al pastor. Any kind I would have got would have been great. Loved the food. Service- great, attentive, helpful, lovely. I cannot speak more highly of this place. High recommendations from this satisfied customer.

Honestly, a 10 out of 10 place. Food comes out quick, hot food is hot and delicious. Cashier answered all my questions and was super kind. The cooks customized the spice level for me on some food and it was delicious. They just earned a loyal customer.

Had the mixed fajitas. HUGE plate of meat. I had the enchiladas. Fantastic tortillas. The prices were good. No combo plates. Will go back. We are in Mariposa and will make the drive.

So good. The food was super fresh. I got the agua chile and it was perfect. The tacos were 🔥 and the salsa bar had so many good options. Service was great too. I’m super picky about Mexican food (I’m Mexican lol) and this is honestly some of the most authentic I’ve had around here. Definitely coming back.

Los 2 Carnales was such a great experience! From the moment I walked in, the welcome was warm and genuine. The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with love. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Great service, great people, and amazing food. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Found this spot while visiting Yosemite National Park. The food was amazing and the portions were pretty big. Pretty big menu and there is something for everyone. Their sauce bar is excellent. Definitely worth stopping if you’re visiting the area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not your ordinary Mexican restaurant - heavy on the seafood cuisine, obviously lends from Pacific Mexico, coastal origins Ceviche Tostado shrimp fajitas etc I really enjoyed it. The restaurant previously was a breakfast diner. Nice transition. The burrito is massive . Things that could use improvement. Wipe down all the hot sause bottles on the tables-:)

I wasn't thrilled with the food quality at Los Dos Carnales. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the place seemed clean and well-run. However the food itself just didn't quite do it for me. We got a few tacos and a super burrito to split. The tacos were okay: the pastor was the best one, but the chicken taco had a strange tomato sauce that didn't quite work. The super burrito was also disappointing, with somewhat bland carnitas, and onions that just didn't quite taste right. Based on our experience I'm not sure I can recommend it.

…. This hurts me to say…. I was treated horrifically in that my car was dismembered by the dilapidated and unkept parking lot, and when I pointed out that the deformed parking stall resulted in ripping the bumper off my car, they argued with me. They said “I park there all the time and nothing happens”… as if I were trying to scam the business… I asked Jose, the brother of the owner, what he could do to help me because his poor parking lot care resulted in serious injury to my car… they could not even comp my meal… I will do everything in my power to influence tourist away from your business. I will never eat there again, and my $200 a month will go somewhere else. Yes, I was spending that much a month at your restaurant before the disrespectful treatment. Never again. Thank you for showing me that even local businesses can be worthy of boycotting.
