Casa Mama Luz Floral Park Reviews
The owner is so friendly and nice as is all of the staff. The food is super fresh, absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced. This is my favorite place for traditional Dominican lunch specials during the workweek.$10 a lunch plate? Come on how can you beat that!! Notable mentions are tres golpes, mofongo, sancocho de res, pollo al horno, arroz Moro and they also make a fresh morir soñando drink. Just super bomb. Don’t overthink just go if you’re in the area and craving real authentic Dominican food. Thank you guys!
Delicious pernil with rice and beans, that crispy tasty skin 😋 Lunch specials $9.99. Great grab-n-go meals.
Got a crazy craving for Dominican food this morning, ordered their Tres Golpes, SonCocho, with rice and , pollo empanadas, bottom line, very delicious. Didn’t disappoint, I felt like I was in heaven. Will definitely order again in the future. Thank you so much 😊
Ordered here for the first time from Postmates and the food smells freaking GREAT! tostones taste good & seasoned and I enjoyed my carne empanada. :3 definitely recommend here! Affordable also.
Plantains are good, chicken was dry but the service was great and so was the goat stew
We have gone a few times and we have gotten pernil, pollo guisado, arroz con habichuelas, and arroz con gandules and everything has been absolutely amazing, flavorful, and fresh. Amazing service, we are always greeted with a smile and they go above and beyond. Highly recommend

Excellent choice for a lunch, I have tried 4-5 times now the food and every time everything is perfect 👌. The service always polite and helpful.
Friendly, fast service, clean fascility + AC, good music, GREAT food + portion size, great prices. It stood out to me that the server described every dish and their price. Loved this place!!
La Casa De Mama Luz offers authentic Dominican flavors that remind me of home. The staff is warm and welcoming, making every visit special. Their traditional dishes are always fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend stopping by for a genuine taste of the Caribbean!
La Casa De Mama Luz Café exceeded my expectations. The selection of traditional Dominican dishes is impressive, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The tostones were crispy and perfectly fried.
This Dominican restaurant exceeded my expectations! The food was bursting with flavor, and I loved every bite.
I visited a Dominican restaurant, and it was excellent. The food, especially the mofongo and sancocho, was delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Dominican experience. I will be back!
If your looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch you've just found it. Family owned with home-made taste and made fresh every day in traditional Dominican tastes. Generous servings that fill us contractors up for our work day. They also have usual drinks AND Jaritos soda in several flavors. Their goat stew was nicely seasoned and very tender. Ribs are fall off the bone tender. Chicharrones are crispy and fresh everyday. Most importantly, I went to the back and thier kitchen is absolutely spotless as well as the rest of the restaurant. We work in the area, so we eat here at least a few times a week. Definitely give then a try, you'll love it!
Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere; the mofongo and the Dominican flag dish were simply delicious. Definitely a place to come back to
Love Dominican food. Happy to have one nearby. Ordered combo three and it came with ALOT of food. The pernil (roast pork) was great, the bistec was just ok. Good flavor but a little tough. Yellow rice and red beans were excellent. The platanos had good flavor but I like them a little wetter and softer. Oxtail was very good. Empanadas were also solid. I’ve had better but these weren’t bad. Not the best Dominican food I’ve ever had but this definitely satisfies a craving and nothing like it in the area. The service is excellent. Couldn’t be nicer.
One of the best lunch spots I've had in a while! Great and friendly service, great food and great prices. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.
This is my first order and they did not disappoint! I ordered the Chicken Wings (Plain) and Tostones. The Wings were PERFECTLY DONE with just the right amount of CRUNCH on the outside and the Tostones were nice and soft. They also included THREE different SAUCES. I will go to bed with a VERY HAPPY TUMMY!

You can't leave without trying the flan. It's the best I've had in a long time. Delicious!

If I could give this zero stars I would. They sent me an old pupusa that was burnt and clearly deep fried to reheat. It was awful. The 3 Golpes tasted like straight up vinegar that’s all you could taste. The eggs had shells in it EGG SHELLS. And the salami also looked like it was cooked yesterday. My first and last experience ordering you can get someone sick like this. Not okay.

I had to throw away all my food - it tasted very bad and was cold. The empanada was completely full of oil and old. You really need to improve a lot.
