Nurlan Uyghur Restaurant Flushing Reviews
This is a clean cute place. The people in charge are excellent hosts. The food is unbelievably DELICIOUS! We enjoyed the Pearl Noodle, Qazan Kawap, Lamb Kawap, and Broccoli. Had to take some to go: Stir-fried Noodle, Samsa, and Uyghur Noodle Soup. We will be back! Thank you so much for being here!
Helal, good friendly hospitality service. Great traditional protein food and drinks. Server Ekrem is friendly and helpful person. We will visit again
Uyghur Food is here the Top Notch ! Thank you for sharing and spreading Uyghur Cuisine in United States ! All food amazing. Especially I like Uyghur Lagman cause when you say Noodle it means Uyghur Food. So proud that I came here and try today. Polo is also very good, salads are great. I adore eggplant Salad. Highly recommend this restaurant. So good atmosphere, service. Only spot in America where is free tea. I appreciate chef Mirahmet aka make this place special.
This place is an absolute hidden gem! The food is nothing short of spectacular, and the service is top-notch. You have to meet Anna—she's an incredible server who truly makes the experience shine!
We ordered big plate chicken 大盘鸡 cumin lamb 孜然羊肉 lamb kebab 羊肉串 and their yogurt & milk tea. Great food, quite spicy though. The yogurt is nice with the toppings. Milk tea is the salty kind, need to get used to the taste.
I got the stir fry noodle and my wife got the Langman special noodles. This was honestly one of the best bites I've had to experience in NYC is a long time. Words cannot describe the flavors and deliciousness of the food. Best of all the owner is a very nice humble person. The chefs in the back also deserve the praises for the food. All in all, im making the 45min drive from Long Island again next week Just for this again.
Got the Big Plate Chicken (large) for takeout and it was seriously delicious. Portion is BIG and the flavor is on point—savory, a little spicy, and super comforting. I’ve tried this dish at other places where it’s mostly bones and barely any meat, but here you actually get a good amount of meat. Also don’t waste the leftover sauce—mix the noodles they give you into it and it tastes amazing. Picked it up around 2–3pm so it was pretty quiet inside, but the food was 100% worth it. Would order again.
I came to this restaurant with my family and it was very tasty. We had the chicken lagman, lamb scallion, stir fry noodles, homemade lagman and the dumplings. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service is excellent, and the quality of food is amazing. Very underrated comfy spot that I recommend to all!
This place is a total hidden gem! The food is absolutely incredible – bursting with flavor and seriously delicious. And the best part? It won't break the bank! The only thing is, don't expect anything fancy. The atmosphere is definitely more on the casual side. But if you're looking for amazing food at a great price, this spot is a must-try!
The food here was incredible—so flavorful and comforting. Every dish felt freshly made and packed with taste. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time. We had a great meal and a really fun experience overall. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to friends.
Wow! Nurlan Uyghur Restaurant serves delicious, authentic food full of rich flavors. The hand-pulled noodles are fresh and perfectly cooked, and every dish is seasoned just right. The portions are generous, and the spices make everything taste amazing. It’s a cozy place where you can enjoy real Uyghur food.
While in the area with family, we decided to stop for lunch and try out this Uyghur restaurant that was on our list to visit. Overall, we had a great experience—the food options, quality, and service were excellent. For appetizers, we ordered the lamb shish and samsa. The lamb shish had a nice char and was juicy, though it could have used a bit more seasoning and a slightly larger portion. The samsa, on the other hand, was generously sized with a flavorful, well-seasoned lamb mince filling. For the main course, we had the plov, spicy lagman, and lamb with scallions. The pollo featured seasoned rice with carrots and lamb chunks. While the rice was flavorful, the lamb was on the dry side. The spicy lagman was the standout dish—tender lamb chunks with green and red bell peppers in a rich, spicy sauce, served with hand-pulled noodles that perfectly soaked up the flavors. The noodles had a great chewy texture, making the dish even more enjoyable. The lamb with scallions was a simple yet satisfying dish. The portion size was decent and paired well with the white rice, though it could have used a bit more seasoning—perhaps a touch more cumin for added depth. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic Uyghur cuisine.
Okay so here’s the lore. This place was really good all around but I think sometime in 2024 the original owners sold the restaurant to someone else (Turkish woman & her 2 sons I think) and bought a location by prince st in downtown flushing. Both locations still have pretty much the same menu but unfortunately they have completely different strengths. Downtown flushing location makes amazing gosh nan but their laghman doesn’t have much flavor and is too al dente. This main st location usually makes great laghman but their gosh nan is bad. It’s typically burnt, too thick and bready and is less than half filled with meat. Gosh nan used to be $14 which felt expensive but was doable. Now it’s $18 after tax for a gosh nan smaller than before (around 6 inches) with less meat. Being small businesses, the service and quality of product is inconsistent for both locations. I’ve had a really bad experience a few times since the new ownership. One incident being when I ordered 2 orders of laghman for takeout but they gave me the quantity of one split across more containers. This cuisine is different and unique to me so I enjoy it but wish I could not only support it more but feel better about supporting it if they worked on improving a couple of key things
