Sarku Japan Flushing Reviews
Fast Food done right Is it fast? Yes Is ls good? Yes The service is always great as well. In my opinion one of the best egg rolls around. And the only pork-free one around. Yup they have chicken egg rolls and they're absolutely delicious. Nicely filled and fried to a perfect crisp. The teriyaki is great as well, with a great smokiness you don't get at other places. The amount of food you get for under $10 makes this a great deal as well. Definitely recommend Menu posted for accurate pricing
Parking: Parking lot Service: I have never gotten my order messed up (I have ordered both in person and via doordash). Wait time for food/order is fast. Food: The teriyaki tastes good. Comes with white rice (can be replaced with noodles), steamed vegetables (brocolli, cabbage, carrot), and a protein. The sauce comes in a separate container attached to the lid of the box for you to pour. Atmosphere: Dont see any issues with the restaurant. Verdict: Great value (especially in NYC) for food that will fill you up.
I came here about a week ago and ordered a large family dinner and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the cashier. She was a good listener from start to finish, even when we had to make multiple changes in our order. She was quick in grasping our order and even repeated it back to us 3 times to make sure all changes were caught and precise. The waiting time was quick and when we got our food, everything was correct from what we ordered and delicious all the way till the end. I really loved this spot, especially with how small it is and it's very nicely hidden. Very impressed with this location. Will be coming back to order here again.
Great food. Quick service as well. Especially when ordering online. I've ordered to pick up within 15 minutes and it is ready in less than that. Food is always hot, juicy, and fresh. Never had a mistake with any take out orders. Used to eat this prior to seeing a movie at College point prior to COVID-19.. Great quick dinner and price. Would highly recommend.
At sarku japan the environment is very homey and the chicken and vegetables are very good, the white rice was a tad bland and i do think they need a lot more of this mystery brown diddy sauce, overall good experience
Fast, cheap, good! I always get the beef teriyaki. You can't find a meal for 11$. Chicken even less. The beef is a little fatty but it just makes sure Im not hungry again 2 hours later. A gem.
The food taste good. Portion is great. They will give you extra sauce on the side. However, I don't like how there's no combo for chicken and beef together. If you order chicken and beef, they will charge you extra like $3.50 for beef lol so be prepare.
Food is decent, not too long of a wait. But food seems high in sodium which may be a concern for the health conscious customer. This is based on comparison to Teriyaki One in the same complex which offers very good, healthy menu options.
Don't know but the last time I went to one of this chains restaurants, I got a bigger dish because I had a bigger portion. Secondly it had more taste and more teriyaki sauce. I'll pass on this franchise
It's good that it's hot. But you would save more money by going over to stop and shop and get a TV Dinner for half the price. Same thing pretty much. For $10 you would expect a fast food to serve a good amount of food but lately it's a growing trend to price meals at $10 for small fast food portions.
I never write posts but feel compelled to share my experience. I went in ordering just the chicken and was charged the same price as a full meal while the amount of chicken I received was less than 20% of the container. They have an option for extra chicken (4 oz) for $2.89 so I figured if they will charge $10 dollars and give more than the 4 oz I received. It was an extremely disappointing experience and the cashier and chef did not seem to acknowledge that there is something wrong with charging the same price as a meal while not adjusting for the portion.
GO TO TERYIAKI ONE ACROSS THE MALL INSTEAD!!! Had a horrible experience at this location.. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE they lie to you dead in the eyes. AND THEY CHARGE FOR EXTRA SAUCE, TERIYAKI ONE does it so much better, and the portion size is a bit larger as well. Definitely won’t be back
Poor customer service, they give out cards to stamp for each time you order a platter yet if you fill it up they won’t give you a new card. They didn’t want to give me more stamps when I bought 2 entrees because they had no new card and had an issue writing down for next time that they owed me. I used to enjoy coming here until today. They laughed at me and I told them how horrible their service was because of that. I come to your business to support you and you want to treat customers this way? Horrible. I wish I could leave 0 stars.
Disappointing work ethic. They gave me this expired card to stamp on just to reject the few moment before reaching the free meal. Maybe I was wrong and got this back in '18. But the second stamp was from last week and last stamp was from yesterday. Why didn't tell me back then? Does this mean they knew it was expired yet enjoyed my mistake for past two visits? :( After all I will just head to another teriyaki store across the mall. They are selling cheaper than sarku but there are so many people during lunch time. I preferred sarku only because of short line and more tables, but now I guess there is reason why sarku is empty all the time.
