Just had sushi dinner with my mom. Very delicious food, great service and cozy atmosphere. My favorite rolls were the Jalapeño, Lemon Salmon, Lincoln Hills, Spicy Ninja, and hamachi lava. I’m so glad to have discovered a new family owned place for sushi in Folsom!

I went there with my best friend at night. Last time I saw her foods, it looked delicious. So this is my first time there. I was impressed last time when me and my best friend got free tea while waiting for her food. This time we ordered a lot of sushi. Everything was so good. The server was really good. The atmosphere of restaurant is nice and cozy. Highly recommended!! Luv it!! ❤️

This is a fantastic new sushi spot in Folsom. Everything from the roles to the ramen was very tasty. The Naruto role was our favorite. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The service was a bit slow but it was worth waiting as the roles were truly superb. We will definitely be adding this as a regular spot for us!

My family had the pleasure of dining at Hokkaido Sushi in Folsom; and it was hands down one of the best Japanese meals we have had in the area! we had the sushi platter, and the fish was incredibly fresh--it literally melted in my mouth. The tempura was crispy and light, not greasy at all. The restaurant itself had a cozy vibe, and the staff was super friendly, offering great sake pairings. lf you are a fan of authentic Japanese food, you have got to check this place out. We will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing! We got edamame, 3 sushi rolls and Tonkatsu Ramen all of it was fresh and flavorful. I was skeptical about the edamame but that was also wonderful. Their service was great as well as the atmosphere! We will be back for sure, this is definitely my new go-to sushi place!

I went to this sushi restaurant with my partner, and we were really impressed. The prices are very reasonable, the sushi is delicious and fresh, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. What made the experience even more special was that they gave a small Christmas gift to their regular customers — such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. Amazing food quality and presentation! Love the little decorations on the serving platters. This is the second time I’ve been here and it makes me sad and surprised to see they are never busy. The staff are super friendly as well and really make you feel welcomed; came in the day after Christmas and our server (who I am assuming is the owner?) gave us a little gift for the holidays! Really made me and my family’s night. We might just have our new favorite sushi spot! Highly recommend!

Hokkaido Sushi is my go-to lunch spot, and for good reason. I’m here at least once a week, but often times more. I order the bento box every single time (usually switching up the main), and it’s always excellent; as a creature of habit, I have no issues with ordering the same thing every week, especially when the food is so tasty! The ingredients are consistently fresh and flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell everything is very thought out and intentional, from the presentation to the balance of flavors. On top of that, the service is wonderful—friendly, attentive, and welcoming every visit. I genuinely love this place and always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

I was in the area on a business trip and stopped by for dinner. Ordered the Tuna Lava roll and Sashimi sampler. Fresh, delicious and smooth taste. The have a large menu selection, the staff is friendly and it is one of those family run places where you are guaranteed to get good food and good service.

It’s great to see Folsom is expanding with their variety of food options, especially when it comes to sushi. Finding a sushi place that isn’t some sort of “fusion” is hard to find here sometimes and but glad to say Hokkaido Sushi is not that type of place. Decided to give this place a try while waiting for my car to be maintained and glad I did! Went to dine in a little after they just opened up and was greeted with a smile. Ordered the miso soup, edamame and Sakura roll. The miso was refreshing on this type of chilly and warm day. Edamame was lightly salted just how I liked and the Sakura roll tasted fresh. The prices were very affordable as well considering they are in Folsom. With good food, good prices and a good environment, there’s not much more you can ask for.

Food was absolutely amazing and good pricing! We had the gyoza, soft shell crab, miso ramen, tonkotsu ramen, shrimp taco and two rolls for less than $100. The waitress was so nice and even gave us a gift when we were done! Definitely recommend if your in the area. It is on the smaller side but its cute and comfortable!

The gyoza pieces were good and tasty. The rolls were good too. The salad was good. - california roll: my kid loved it and ate all the pieces. - shrimp tempura roll: the tempura was crunchy and good - spicy salmon roll: the filling was very generous. The roll had good spiciness level.

The guy also said I could select one of small sushi (not the special). Tables were not set for napkins or utensils nor condiments. I asked for tea. They brought the bento box. I made a mistake not getting option 1 because it has a salad. They young guy was nice enough to give me a complimentary salad but it was flooded by the miso dressing (taste like dressing from Costco). It took me 3 request for the $5 pot of tea before it arrived my table. They did not even give a napkin. Salmon teriyaki was dry & seems overcooked and they didn’t provide sauce for the tempura. Also the miso soup was just warm not hot. I ask the guy about the sauce and said they don’t have the tempura sauce. They use the unagi or tempura sauce according to that young guy. When i entered the resto, only one table was occupied with 3 customers and there was no settings on table.
