TLDR: There’s 3 different rooms/styles of music at all times, $20 cover, hookah/cigars, and Lotssss of security💙 This place is definitely a powerhouse. There’s a lot of places in the Sacramento/Folsom area that charge $20, this is one of the few places I felt like that was worth it. There’s tons of seating indoors and outdoors. When you first walk in, there’s a live band, a bar, and a fun light up dance floor. The live band was playing pop covers from the 80s to now, super fun mix. Second and third rooms are open air, but there’s lots of space heaters. One of the rooms had like a hip-hop/R&B type vibe. There were cigars and hookah, and I like the way they have the hookah set up definitely safe to be around drunk people. The third room had a Latin flare and an area to dance up by the dj Well drinks were about $12 and there’s a lot of staff, ample bar tenders and security so despite how busy it was- it was also easy to get a drink and felt very safe. 10/10 reccomend

It was a live band karaoke. First time I ever saw that. The band was great and had a lot of genres and songs on the list.

I went to the Sunday Blues show. It was the first time I've been in downtown Folsom. I was impressed with the venue and the music and patrons where wonderful. I will return. Well worth a visit

They don't serve food there. They do serve great live music and fun. I love that their dance floor is lit up. It looks like the floor is made with light-up tiles. So much fun. Parking is ridiculously hard to find, but that's Sutter Street in Folsom for ya.

Such a fun place to go for live music. They have a great atmosphere and ambiance. The dance floor lights up with led images and the music draws you in to dance. Everyone there was cool, including the doorman. Best dirty martinis in the area.

I had an amazing time at Powerhouse Pub. The outdoor patio was large and an enjoyable place to socialize. The staff was outstanding and very welcoming. The live music inside was excellent. I can't wait to go back! 🙌

Great bar with your normal beers on tap and good mixed drinks. Live bands are usually playing and this place is open late which is hard to find in this area. I dont think they have food but definitely the place to be if you want to feel good vibes from the locals of all ages. Plenty of room also to have big groups. Nice closing bar to go to in the area.

GREAT PLACE! Went to a birthday party here and had a fantastic night, chatting with friends & meeting new people, eating good food, drinking strong cocktails and dancing to a wonderful live band singing the songs of my era...Rock n Roll! For all you older folks, this is your place! This is where you will meet others who are older but young at heart & still having a lot of fun living life to its fullest & not ready for the rocking chair & quiet, lonely nights! Really like the ambiance, too. Its just a feel-good place.! They also have a large open patio area for those who like to smoke without feeling like a leper. Really, this place is, hands down, the BEST!

I was in town for a training. The whole group decided to drop in when we heard they have live band karaoke. This place has incredible atmosphere, in a high-class dive bar sort of way. Staff was all friendly and having a great time. Though the bell ringing may have been a bit aggressive. All the customers were in great spirits. The band was amazing. What blew me away the most was that the dance floor is made out of dvLED panels, so it’s basically a huge tv screen. I work in AV and knew it was possible, but haven’t ever seen a place make that sort of investment. It’s wild, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

My first Powerhouse experience kinda sucked, so a friend invited me out to Tuesday night live karaoke to rectify that memory. The band was awesome. They had a pretty extensive list of good songs to choose from, and the front man was very fun and engaging. The talent for the night was varied, but sofa King fun to watch. I loved watching other people fully enjoying themselves. I had a great night, and the drinks were pretty good, too. The venue is very much my personal aesthetic. I loved it.

Saw the band, Cold Blood, which is an East Bay Grease band. It's has similar roots to Tower of power and it was a great show. Service and atmosphere is fantastic but don't go there for a meal unless it's not during a show. Foods are limited but you can eat at least a snack or two. Across the street is probably one of the best pizza places that you're going to find. I like sitting upstairs for the venue since you can see pretty much everything. Warning, the floor upstairs is very sticky and it's carpet. So, think about that when you go.

Multiple bars inside and out. A Live music stage (with seating) and great bartenders. Something new and different around every turn.

Joel (the bartender) is always wonderfully helpful at advice for trying new drinks. I like to experiment and he hits the mark each time! Thanks Joel! Yummy drinks just add more fun to an already entertaining night of free line dancing lessons that start every Thursday night at 7pm. This week's yummy 'new to me' drink "Blackberry-Lime Rickey" last week was a "Dirty Martini." Great place to enjoy yourself, meet new friends, and have a good time.

One of the best places to go to dance to live music. The Covid Dragon is 5 feet tall & 4 feet wide. I Sculpted it myself and took about 200 hours. It is suspended 8 feet above the band at Powerhouse Pub. I also do epoxy river tables.

This is a fun place to go for music and drinks. Everybody has a good attitude. I just wish they served food!

Scarlet’s Saloon / Powerhouse Pub is one of my friend’s and I’s go to spots for a fun night out. It’s a spacious bar with multiple rooms for whatever you’re feeling! There’s three rooms/bar areas that each play different music and have a different vibe going on. The cover is typically $20 and they do have an atm on site you can use. One of the bars is cash only the others take card. Usually my friends and I go to the zombie room because the bartender there is super nice and makes really yummy fruity drinks. This room has tons of neon paint and funky decor, it’s also where they have live music playing and an upstairs area you can sit in. The other areas are indoor/outdoor and they have seats outside on the front and back patio you can sit and smoke at. Depending on a lot of factors you might love it or might not. There’s a big mix of people you’ll meet here and there are some interesting individuals you’ll meet. For the most part the music is decent, lots of space to dance, good drinks, and you can definitely make it more fun with a great group of people.

This place would have unique decor Inside to see from ceiling to the stage good bands from Blues too Rock would play. It also has a dance floor to enjoy two bars an upstairs second floor to view the band. There is outside close patio to still enjoy the band music or a DJ that would play at certain times with another bar outside too. Seating is available out in the patio if it gets Hot there is water mist that don't get you wet but feels refreshing. Worth going.

It’s a cool venue, and has a lot of potential but needs a deep clean and more than 2 stalls in the ladies room! Live music was great, excessive amount of large security dudes who kind of throw off the relaxation factor. Great spot to people watch, drinks were just ok and served in plastic cups. Beware, don’t get drowsy or they will throw you out on grounds of being over intoxicated even if you’re sitting at a table chilling with a water in your hand minding your own business. LOL!

Was charged $56 for a vodka cran and a vodka redbull, double shot, crazy enough. But was halfway done with the drink waiting to taste any alcohol. There was little to none in each drink. Brought it back and she refused to remake or just give us money back since the drinks were half drank. Only reason they were was because we were waiting to see if it was all at the bottom??

Absolutely horrible experience! I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. I went here on 8/31 and ordered two vodka sodas, total was $26. I gave the male bartender $40 in cash, and he NEVER gave me my $14 change. I waited about 10 minutes, confused, and then told my friend. When she confronted him, his response was, “she is drunk,” and then he poured me a “free shot” instead of returning my money. This man stole $14 from me—and I want it refunded immediately. He probably does this every night with people paying cash who he assumes are “too drunk” to notice. Management, please review the cameras on the Scarlett’s side from that night and contact me directly. I would not recommend this place at all. Your employees should not be stealing from customers.

The buster wouldn’t let me in because I accidentally stumbled on uneven ground, I went there for a friend’s 45 birthday who hadn’t seen in months! I was sober but in high heels. The African American woman was rude and said I couldn’t come in and not to even say anything about it. I’m a resident of the Folsom area for 20 plus years, I never had that happening to me there before
