D'angelo's Pizzeria & Restaurant Forest Hills Reviews
D'Angelo's is at the end and beginning of both the q10 and 246 bus routes so it makes a perfect place to stop. If you are changing from one to the other. This plenty of seating although it could get crowded and it could be standing room only. And I have a great selection. Services. Fast food is great. Didn't get to check whether or not they had Wi-Fi. I didn't need it. Definitely a place to stop for pizza.
I Love this place. Their Pizzas are my Favorite. I always order a slice with pepperoni and extra cheese. I also Love their Chicken Cesar Pizza
Very friendly staff! The chicken and vegetable soup is absolutely delicious. I always order it for takeout — it’s perfect for this kind of weather
Had a little issue with the delivery guy hanging up, but overall the food was worth the wait meatball spaghetti and vodka sauce had bacon. I was not expecting that it’s delicious.
Seriously, the best margarita pizza with whole luscious slices of mozzarella and the sauce was chunky fresh basil. The thickness was just perfectly cooked not greasy just healthy very organic D’Angelo‘s pizza Delicious 🍕
My friends, staff and I have come to this place, and the staff ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza. The food there was wonderful, and the service was fabulous. The atmosphere was that there were people eating in there, people making pizzas, and that people were ordering.

Great place for delivery or pick-up. Garlic knots and pinwheels are two of my favorites, and really appreciate that they deliver individual slices.
I usually order takeout and have enjoged a variety of food here. Their pizza is inconsistent though usually pretty good. Gloria's is better but expensive and they often give smaller slices. This place however the slices are always large and I rarely feel I overpaid. Their pasta and chicken wings are also pretty good. Service is usually timely depending on demand and staff never gave me any problems.

Bought chicken Cesar and was surprised. The salad tasted awful and not fresh and I found couple bugs inside. Was absolutely terrified.

I work near by from this pizzeria and I like that it’s convenient by the subway and near my office. It’s a pizzeria, so I never expect it to be fancy or super clean, but they could use an update on decor & perhaps cleanliness. Service is good, never had any issues with the staff. I’ve had food from here a few times, but never had any issues. I recently ordered lunch here and it tasted fine at the moment. As the day went by I started feel a lack of appetite at work and even when it was time for dinner somewhere else with my boyfriend I barely ate anything. When I got home later that night, I started feeling unwell and realized I had food poisoning as I started throwing up afterwards and developed a fever and loss of appetite. Sad to say, I won’t be coming back here for a while or eating pizza until I’m fully recovered. Be careful with what you’re ordering here and check your food carefully.
asked how much a singular slice was, and was told $5 dollars. i paid via debit card and trusted the cashier when he rang up my bill so i didnt really bother to look at the debit reciever when i paid. however, he had yet to inform me that the debit minimum was $10, and that my final total would be $11.23 for a singular slice. i work as a server at a restaurant, and always read out the total of the bill or give disclaimers for how much an item might be. i wasn’t informed about any minimum before i paid and somewhat feel scammed. i’ve been here in the past and its been one of my go-to’s after a long night on the F train, but i don’t think i’ll be back

The cheese pizza crust was destroyed by the time they heated it. I have literal BOILS inside my mouth. LIKE WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO A PERFECT SLICE? 😭 shi was like a 1000 degrees no cap. Surely doesn’t deserve a spot right by the subway stop that’s for sure. I really want someone to explain the volcano like temp n the concrete ahh crust
In all my years living here, I have never eaten pasta as bad as this, I do not recommend it.
As a regular coming here once-twice a week for a while now, I found myself today dealing with an extremely rude employee, who told me about the $5 minimum spending with a tone that I will not respect and take from anyone behind a register. After handing over the cash he did not manage to do the math correctly giving me the right amount of change back serving me the slice of pizza soaked with marinara sauce I asked for on the side by the way. After introducing myself saying Im someone called “customer” he kept having the attitude towards me. When I asked for the manager he claimed it was him personally that was to be honest pretty hard to believe as a business owner:) I had nothing else to do at this point but to ask for my money back. I got to tell he was doing an excellent job at one thing, throwing the $20 bill back at me from behind the register. Just to indicate my frustration about this experience I have to leave a note on the side, this is my first ever google review I write on a company…
The Primavera pizza slice I got from takeout…tasted worse than it looked.
I am writing to express my concern regarding an unexpected and unexplained charge on my credit card. following a recent order. My receipt shows a total of $21.70 for a chicken salad, which i duly paid. However my credit card reflects and additional charge of $11.44, for which i have received no explanation despite contacting your staff. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I’ve been here twice with my 2 year old and both times they were very rude. The lady in front of me was simply asking for her pizza to be put straight into a box & NOT heated. The staff was talking so much to each other that they heated her pizza multiple times which caused her to wait an extra 15 mins for 1 slice of pizza. Horrible. Then when she leaves they’re just laughing, I’m not sure what is funny about a paying customer getting frustrated because of YOUR ignorance. that’s first of all .. the second time I came, I came because my autistic 2 year old loves pizza so I was forced to stop at the closest place. I get in the store at 11:10 AM And there is only 2 slices sitting there so I ask if I could have 2 fresh slices from the other pizza I’m clearly looking at.. I was told no. I said okay there’s no other pizza ? He again tells me no because he’s going to put toppings on the pizza.. which has nothing to do with me. My thing is they are so rude they just say no I’m asking how long to wait for another pizza and everybody is acting oblivious. It’s just pizza .. like relax. We come in your establishments to get quick eats and to leave , nobody wants to argue about pizza every time they come in a store especially when the store opened not too long ago and your pizza already looks old. Please.. took my money and left. Too many people go in here, have an issue AND LEAVE. Difference is, I’m going to let it be known this place sucks. If you go to places for service, taste and atmosphere? DONT go here . You’d get better service at the $1 slice places on 125th st with the crackheads outside.
Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish!!! Service was very unprofessional and rude and all of the food was burnt. Definitely think twice about going here if you want somewhat of a good experience!!
They charge 3% extra for credit card use. Before the 3% my bill was $18.45. 3% of 18.45 is 55 cents or 56 cents if you round up. Their charge was 65 cents. I noticed the same thing yesterday but didn't say anything. When I objected they blamed the machine and told me to go pound sand. They are doing this on every credit card teansaction. I wrote the mayor's office and I hope the city shuts them down!
I have ordered pizza from this location several times in the past for myself and the kids. And, although it wasn't great pizza, it was always of edible quality. A couple of days ago I ordered Penne Alla Vodka with a large Pasta E Fagioli soup to go. The Penne dish wasn't that good, but it was edible. The Pasta E Fagioli soup was so bad only one sip was enough for me. I don't know what broth they used to make that soup, but it had a strong spoiled chicken smell, and tasted like nothing that should be fed to human. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen of this pizzeria/restaurant, and I surely won't ever go back there to find out.
They will cheat you! On an $18.45 purchase with a 3% credit card processin fee, their dedicated computer calculated a 65 cent fee whereas 3% of 18.45 = 56 cents even if rounded up. When i complained they ignored me. . If they'll cheat on a lousy 9 cents who knows what else they'll do.
This place is honestly nasty. I paid cash for a slice of pizza because they require a $10 minimum to use a card and charge an extra 4% fee. After touching cash and giving me change, the worker immediately started making pizza, handling the dough without washing his hands. Money is one of the dirtiest things people touch. This is a serious food safety issue and completely unacceptable. I lost my appetite instantly.
