One of the best restaurants on Metropolitan Avenue!! It is small so not ideal for large groups, however there is seating with view of the avenue. Unlike most of the other stores, they have long hours which is REALLY relieving. Although two annoyances are that there is no restroom & it is cash only. The service is efficient & polite, matching with its good food (including proportions!) & affordable prices. It may not look very nice but it is definitely a good establishment & still clean. (It has an A.) To summarize, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.

Let me tell you, this place has been here many years and the same owner. I know the owner actually. He is thin and wears glasses . The lady is very nice at the counter and helpful if you want your food cooked a certain way. He takes pride in serving quality food. It may look like just another take out joint but, the food is really good. Try their homemade veggie dumpings. Or ask for large wonton soup but, no broth.. (Add scallions and thin slices pork if you want ) same as in soup. Aka steamed wontons with a little oyster sauce as an appetizer. (Not on menu). Across from McDonald's on metropolitan ave in forest hills NY. Family owned take out place! It's not a 4 or 5 star restaurant. Of course you pay for what you get. But, it is very good and the quality is good. I hope this helps. I will post photos of veggie dumplings and steamed wontons and chicken with broccoli Enjoy !

Very good authentic Chinese food. Tasty, fresh, good portions and prices. People are friendly, good location with easy street parking. It's our go to place when we don't feel like cooking.

This was my team’s go-to place for lunch for the two years I was there. Always consistent and well-priced — our old-reliable. I will miss this place and their meals 🥲 Shoutout to the owners for their unrelenting dedication of feeding us robotics-hungry children after we work in a basement all day

Good local place for delivery/take out mainly. The vegetarian options are cooked well and the sauces are flavorful without being goopy, seems like they don't use corn starch, which is a plus for me. Portion size is decent.

I think this is one of the top Chinese fast food spots in our neighborhood.Their food is always on point and affordable. We love to get extra bbq sauce on BBQ ribs and it is always flavorful and juicy. Their lunch specials are delicious and filling and their prices aren’t bad. They are fast and friendly and we have ordered from them for years. Love this spot.

Always consistently good for a local spot. Food quality is better than most people would probably expect. Pickup orders are always ready when I get there.

The local Chinese food place. They have great food, have never gotten the order wrong, pricing is decent. Thier hot and sour soup is great but wonton soup has too little wontons. I also wish that their sweet and sour chicken had vegetables and chuncks of pineapple in it. The service is decently fast and everything is made fresh. My family and I order from them quite a bit. There have been no large complaints.

It's clean and I'm not expecting fine dining. I want something Chinese-y for lunch and this hits the spot. Most dishes are fine: have had better; have had worse. I do wish they'd use scallions more. Perfectly fine for lunch for me.

Small, nondescript Chinese "restaurant." Parking can be difficult and there isn't a public restroom. Offers typical Chinese fare at routine cash only prices. There is seating for about ten people although most of the business seems to be take out.

I had the sweet and sour chicken lunch special, and it was decent. Usually, chinese takeout meals are packed, at least with rice, but at Wing Wah, it wasn't. There was lots of empty space. The sweet and sour sauce was a bit bland. However, I enjoyed the hot and sour soup.

A few weeks ago walked in ordered my food. Ordered a large boneless bbq ribs and wontons. Pretty sure I was given a small bbq on purpose when I look back and compare it to my usual spots bbq ribs it was in the smaller container. I usually ask how much my order wil be and I’ll look at menu and ad it up myself. I have good reason to be like this. Anyway be careful we’re you spend your money

I know it’s lunch special but this is a joke. One wonton in the soup. Might as well give an egg roll because this isn’t worth it. The regular dish was great ***** five stars for that but not coming back to this restaurant. Boneless ribs were fresh but portion size for the lunch special is a joke. You get more at Panda Express lol next time I’ll uber eats from Kew gardens on metro because this place is not worth it.

Worst place to go to find a late night eat, ordered this item off there menu and this is what I got for 6 dollars. Worst..... save your money or if your craving Chinese food either go 3 blocks to panda express or there is another Chinese place couple blocks away on metro and 72 Ave.

Do not go to Wing Wah. The food is not even that good and the service is horrible. The chicken wings I ordered were literally drowning in oil. The french fries were soaked in oil as if after they were cooked they took a nice little swim in a vegetable oil bottle. On top of that the food that I ordered for 11:30 did not come until 1:00, and the worst part was that the owner of the store knew that the order was for a school party and the students had to go to class, but they couldn't because the food came 1 hour and 30 minutes late. That is ridiculous considering the fact that the store is like 2 blocks away from the school. And then when we checked the food it turns out they messed up the order and forgot to deliver some of the food, and when we decided to get our money back the lady refused and told us not to come back, or she will call the cops. you definitely should take this advice and not go to that dirty unsatisfying, unappetizing food store

OMG!!! Visited this restaurant and was so disappointed...food pricing was high and the food portion was half of what I'm accustomed to. It's was very ODD how the female removed a portion my rice to put it in another container. I spoke to her about it and she said/did nothing. Very small amount of rice for near $10.00... Not fair

This is terrible. I found wire in my food. It's disgusting and rubbish. No refund. I won't eat at this restaurant again. Everyone should be careful.
