Sea Level Fort Lauderdale Reviews
Superb bar and deck at the Ritz, service is on point with the brand, the food and drinks are excellent. My favorites are the coco-rico drink (sub tequila for Malibu rum), the Tuna Poke and Ceviche are delicious. Our server Scott is one of the best in the business. The views are unbeatable as well as the amenities.
We came here for lunch after our conference. Great location next to the pool overlooking the beach. It was so relaxing watching all the boats and barges coming into Fort Lauderdale. We started with the Trio Dip with queso blanco. It is a huge portion so I only recommend if you’re a party of 3 or more. It comes with red salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, and the star was the queso blanco. God I could’ve taken a bath in it, it was so good. I got the Mahi Mahi Tacos which were also great. They were two street style tacos with huge filets of mahi mahi. They packed a ton of flavor with the avocado mousse and spicy chipotle aioli. Also wanted to give a shout out to our server Ashlee. She was busy with quite a few other tables but we never had to wait cause she was constantly moving. She always made sure our waters were topped off and kept our other drinks coming since we had some drink coupons to use from our conference. Thanks Ashlee!
This was such a great experience! We stayed at the Marriott where this restaurant is located, and both the food and service were truly 10/10. Our server, Justine, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our visit outstanding. We ordered the dry rub chicken wings (well done), and they were absolutely spectacular. Justine also recommended the non-alcoholic piña colada and strawberry daiquiri mix-it was delicious! We definitely recommend this spot and can't wait to come back. The photos of our chicken wings don’t do justice of how good they were.
Absolutely delicious Tuna Playa Bowl - great flavours, fresh ingredients, excellent tuna. It’s described as a shareable, but required a fork and knife to eat. Not a large portion, but a side of fries fixed that. The servers were wonderfully attentive and friendly despite the busy venue. Went back and had a Cobb salad - also delicious. Service really is so friendly again and again.
I recently spent a delightful day at Sea Level with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The service we received from Tim was outstanding, making our visit even more special. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The view of the beach from Sea Level is simply amazing, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop for our day. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the pool service was excellent, contributing to our overall enjoyment. Sea Level is a perfect spot for families looking to spend a relaxing day by the beach with top-notch service and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!
Reasonable food price. Great service ( i didn't like the female bartender but i liked our server). Cubano sandwich was 3/5. Mahi taco 5/5. Fries 5/5. Sweet potato fries 1/5 ( so hard and too crunch). Humus 10/5 definitely get it! Great view is PLUS!
Great view, nice vibe, amazing Fajita Quesadilla (try the Jerk chicken with it) and also highly recommend the Pima colada with a twist!
Sea Level is a must-visit in Harbor Beach Marriott Fort Lauderdale! The recent remodel has given the restaurant a fresh, modern feel while still keeping its relaxed, beachy vibe. The ocean views are unbeatable. The food was excellent! I Recommend their wings, the flatbread, and the burgers. Whether you’re a local or staying at the Hotel, this is a fantastic spot to enjoy great food with an incredible view. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is located at the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. You can sit indoors or outdoors and it has a nice ocean view. The nachos were actually out of this world and might be some of the best nachos I’ve ever had in my life. Our waiter John was super nice and friendly. This is a great lunch spot if you’re staying at the hotel and want a good quick meal for lunch.
I have to admit, while the kids meals are average I loved the wings for adults. I ordered it few times I was staying on site and they were always hot and crispy. We ordered both from the pool side and at the restaurant. It’s def faster to get it at the restaurant. Price is what you would expect to pay at resorts (not cheap).
Everything was wonderful. My only complaint was that the chimichurri that came with my steak was basically just slightly seasoned oil.
Definitely check out this restaurant. The food is very fresh and delicious, service at the bar and inside the restaurant is great, and the live music by the ocean is a bonus.
Great place to grab a bite to eat or a drink on a beautiful night! Food was fresh and delicious.

Great place to grab a bite to eat or a drink on a beautiful night! Food was fresh and delicious.
I came here three times during my stay, and all of them were very good. I got a different dish each time, and each tasted great! Service was good, and it was nice to sit outside and just watch the ocean. They even had live music one night. Would definitely go back.
Adjacent to Marriott Harbor Beach Resort (on The Club side), easily accessible from the pool and the beach. Live music is loud enough to be background, but not loud enough to cause us to have to shout across our table. The patio is perfect in the Spring and Fall. We recommend the tortilla chips with the queso option and the pimento cheese crab dip for appetizers, then the Cubano, the Mahi tacos, and the Seafood Cobb dinner salad. Dinner menu available at 5PM. Libations from the bar are a strong pour. TVs at the outside bar are for timely sporting events (March Madness, Kentucky Derby, etc)
We had our wedding brunch here and they did not disappoint. Although they were busy, we still had stellar service. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience here at the Sea Level Restaurant! Great food, great service, surrounded by beautiful beach views, and the ocean. Tom and Neyma made our dining experience all the more enjoyable!
Kristen is phenomenal! She os so attentive without being overbearing. She should be appreciated! We have stayed in Marriott all over the world and she is literally the best of the best.
We ate outside, under the stars with the waves lapping the shore below the deck we were on. It was very pleasant, and the food was delicious. We would absolutely eat here again.
The beautiful scenery overlooking the water at sunset was lovely. We all enjoyed our meals. Our food was delicious. Enjoyed the live entertainment as well.
The view along the beach is amazing, the food is great too! This restaurant has the best sweet potato fries I have ever tried
Mike Gomez is the freaking man hit this place up
Sorry but I did not take any pics, but I am not a salad person and I went twice during our holiday for seafood cobb salad. We visit the Miami area (fort Lauderdale, Pompano beach, Sunny Isles, .etc) most years and the cobb salad is a must have at least once. Not bad for a meat eater.
Great ambience, great music, great view, delicious food! The jerk chicken nachos are a must have! Also, shoutout to Curtis for the phenomenal service. I’m from Miami, but I’m definitely eating here again when I’m in the area. A must eat in.
BAREFOOT DINING on the beach. The 4 course meal on the beach was superb. Comes with wine and moet. Dinner for two was close to $500 but well worth it for the experience. Only wish the soccer nets werent so close but everything was beautiful. Our server Tonya was great too and very nice.
Excellent food (I had the blackened snapper, husband had mahi sandwich), Karen our server was superb, and the live entertainment by Perry Strait was great! We ate outside with a great view of the ocean too!
First time here and it was pretty amazing
Been ordering pool side service the last two days (7/18 and 7/19) and it’s has been impeccable. Edward took excellent care of us! I would highly recommend to sit in his section if you are there! When I went back today I made sure to seek him out! He’s so attentive and goes above and beyond. I would take him home if I could lol. The drinks and food was excellent. I highly recommend the BBQ chicken flatbread. Of course in these hot days pinacolada’s and Ft Lauderdale Vice’s were perfect. Thanks again Edward for your phenomenal service!!! 😊😊😊😊
Great fish tacos. Right next to everything. Can walk and see fort lauderdale how you should.
Food is ok. But you're not going to that place for the food. You're going there for the ambience and The view. Both of those are stellar. This is a stellar view where you dress casually and you can be comfortable and spend some time with your loved ones. I highly recommend.
Overall a fabulous experience. It's right on the beach and I got to have fish and chips using Mahi Mahi and freshly fried Spanish potato chips, all very unique. The food quality was lovely, my friends all enjoyed theirs as well. I would go here again for sure!
We went here for supper and got wait listed. There was a table in the bar area so went there to wait and the bar menu looked so good we ordered one of the best burgers and fries I've ever had. The location is very nice too.
I really enjoyed the Sea Level Restaurant. My GD raved about the chicken wings. My GS loved the kids meal with the cheese pizza and fries. And I thoroughly enjoyed my black bean falafel wrap. Good food and good vibes. Live entertainment for our enjoyment...not too loud but a really cool cozy sound. Service is also excellent. Highly recommended 👌
Visited this place twice (once for lunch and once for dinner). Both times were very good. Sitting outside, enjoying the onshore breeze, and eating good food was a great experience.
Great place with amazing atmosphere. Prices are somewhat reasonable considering the restaurant is located on resort premises. Flatbread, hummus, fries, stake were all great. The only complaint I'd say was margarita. They charge you $17 for a drink that has 80% of ice in it.
This was such a lovely place for a family dinner on vacation. We walked in from the beach side. The outdoor patio is right on the beach and so open and pleasant. Indoors has huge windows and looked like a wonderful atmosphere not too; there are gorgeous views since you're literally right on the beach. There was a singer with a guitar playing good covers. Service was quick, nachos were really delicious, and the seafood Cobb salad was so generously packed with seafood that I literally couldn't finish it.
Ate outside on the deck, our server Jackie was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Warm chips with queso is a great start, the burger is really good, the quesadilla is excellent and the drinks are good. There's a music bar close and beach access and a nice breeze. It was wonderful!
We had the BEST Dining Experience in Fort Lauderdale, Barefoot Dining at Marriott Harbor Beach! February 2024 I am so glad I found this hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale! I was searching for an on the beach dining experience and the Marriott Harbor Beach popped up! I called in and left a message. Laura Villegas promptly returned my call and provided me with the details of their Barefoot Dining experience. Sounded perfect and I made a reservation as a surprise for my husband during our last week here in FLL. Please note that Laura also fielded many questions, answered many emails and adjusted my reservation due to weather. She was kind, patient and wonderful to work with. She is a wonderful representative for specialty dining, made you feel welcomed and valued. Last night my husband and I arrived and made our way to the Sea Level restaurant. We were warmly greeted at the reception area and waited with a glass of sparkling wine for our host to take us to our table. Jacob, the Assistant Restaurant Manager welcomed us, introduced us to Jackie our server and very quickly we had some things in common to talk about that set a very positive tone for what was in store! We were escorted through a deck with live music, down the stairs to the beach and our table was surrounded by tiki torches and sand lights...it felt like we were on an island all to ourselves! The night was simply beautiful, we arrived in daylight and got to experience the change to darkness watching the boats, planes and even a cruise ship go by. It got a little cool and Jacob came down with blankets for us, took the edge right off - thank you! We had an amazing dining experience and the team here did exactly what Laura outlined, they made you feel special and in for a treat. We could tell they were very proud of presenting this experience. There were 5 courses and the dining experience included a bottle of wine which could be upgraded if you choose to do so. The night was perfect, we were well tended to and also left to be by ourselves. Jacob, Jackie and Chef Charles were so well synchronized, they were so good that it felt like the Bellagio fountains! This was a very special experience indeed, the setting was incredible and to top it off, the food was amazing too! Every course was better than the next and served piping hot or had the appropriate amount of cold and crispness AKA, our seafood app, salads and desserts. Loved the arancini, the flavors inside were so distinct, the sea charcuterie board was filled with Florida Stone Crab and Shrimp, served with sauces and grilled citrus. The seasonal salad was to die for with the pear, brie and tomato combination...all so delicious! Then the main course of filet and scallops served with mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables, artfully presented. All I can say is wow, Chef Charles nailed it - from the filet, blackened medium rare, the scallops, the roasted vegetables and the mashed potatoes were a highlight too. Lastly, dessert arrived with the BEST key lime pie we've had during our stay here and a turtle ice cream sandwich that was also quite delicious. We took our time, never felt rushed and did not want the night to end. The team here really made it so special, thank you all so very much! PS: This property has a friendly and upbeat vibe with a grand outdoor space, a beautiful expansive beach and it has 2 pools! Was very inviting and will be sure to look to add on a week to our trip next week to stay here and will definitely bring our friends and family with us to the Barefoot Beach experience when they visit!
Very nice place. Great view and on the water. The food was good and not super over priced like most of Fort Lauderdale. Very good drinks. The service was good. The music was good. We would come back again for sure.
I've had better at this restaurant. Maybe an off night
Excellent and quite casual place if you're looking for price/quality. As Spaniard, for me the rations are to big, but I they offered me to take away the leftovers. And that's good because I loved the fish and the tacos! Friendly staff
The food was amazing! The staff was courteous and helpful. I had heartburn but didn't have any medicine with me. The bartender got me ACV so I could make a home remedy shot to help with my heartburn then I was able to enjoy the food and atmosphere.
We couldn’t resist ordering seconds of the tuna poke—it was that good! Paired with the exceptional service from Chris, who truly pampered us, and the mesmerizing ocean view that added warmth and charm to the experience, this spot has it all. Absolutely fantastic!
Best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! Nice Greek salad as well. Lovely views and atmosphere. Thank you!
Wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere with live music in the evenings, and exceptional service! This is definitely a must if you are at the Marriott or to come and visit if you're not. The view of the ocean is worth the drive from anywhere. I love the Mediterranean salad, with the rock shrimp. The next day I came back and got a Cobb salad, with lump crab, and rock shrimp. Both were fantastic. The burger looked great, that our table mate had, and the servers were very attentive.
We ate here for lunch every day of our trip. Great food atmosphere and quick service. Very affordable for a resort restaurant too.
Fabulous seaside lunch with great views of the incoming ships. Very generous portions so don't over order like we did. The staff seems to really enjoy being there, always a plus. Going to eat here several times during our stay as so many good things on the menu.
Great food! A bit on the pricey side, but it is in a hotel on the beach so there's that. 😊
Great location! The new menu offers so much variety! Vegetarian and vegan options should be expanded a bit. They were also a bit bland. The live music is phenomenal. We visit often and enjoy drinks and bites. I recommend it for locals and tourists.
Had the wings and shrimp, so good!! The key lime pie was divine!! So enjoyed the geckos running around. They were cute but not intrusive.
We held our rehearsal dinner here this evening. The tables were BEAUTIFULLY set and ready upon our arrival. The service was AMAZING! The staff/team introduced themselves as we were seated. The entire evening was PERFECT! It was a bit chilly, and beach towels were provided for my guests (without being requested) Thus was above and beyond customer service. My guests complimented the meal (all 23 of them! And one of my guests is a chef) The restaurant chef even came to our table to check on us. I was impressed from beginning to end. If I am ever back in Fort Lauderdale, I will definitely eat at this restaurant again. I cannot say enough. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Sea Level For making our rehearsal dinner perfection.

Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar offers a beautiful view and ambiance right next to the water. We went for an early dinner and were able to get a great table with a beautiful view. The service was a bit slow, and our server got a couple of order items wrong, but overall, the experience was enjoyable. The cocktails were decent, but the standout dishes were definitely the local mahi sandwich and the mahi tacos. The sandwich was delicious and fresh, while the tacos were good, but not as good as the sandwich. The fries were also tasty. Despite the slow service and some order mistakes, Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar is still worth visiting for the view, atmosphere, and delicious local seafood options. The cocktails could use some improvement, but the overall experience was enjoyable.
Sea Level Restaurant, situated just outside the Marriott Harbor Resort in Fort Lauderdale, delivers a memorable dining experience with high-quality dishes and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere. The red snapper stands out as a highlight, perfectly seared with a flavorful crust and complemented by tender broccolini, celery stalks, and a side of citrus for a bright finish. The spread also features dishes like a vibrant salad topped with crispy noodles for added texture and a deliciously cheesy flatbread pizza drizzled with barbecue sauce. Additionally, their sandwich platter with seasoned fries offers a hearty, satisfying option, perfect for a casual evening. With thoughtfully plated meals and a laid-back setting, Sea Level combines the charm of coastal dining with a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes.
Nice dining place next to the ocean. Great selection of food for a resort place. We tried and enjoyed greek salad with shrimp, chicken quasidelia, nachos with guacamole and chicken. However, their ceaser salad and cauli rice with salmon were ok, nothing special or delicious.

Mahi-mahi sandwich was quite good. Several other diners were quite happy with their dishes. Shrimp ceviche made one diner quite happy. Key lime pie was excellent. Dulce de Leche Chocolate tart is very good, very rich. Practically a steal at $10 per dessert. Inside is very loud when full. Outdoor seating is quite nice. Good singer outside one evening when we just went for dessert.
The service was just okay. However, the food is great and the flat breads are wonderful. I would also recommend the dolce de leche dessert which was absolutely amazing. Great place to eat. Little hard to eat, but if you are looking for it, they are at the back right of the Marriott on Harbor beach.
The food was okay. I wouldn't say anything was great on the menu. The drinks were very tasty. The service was very good. And the views are great! Most nights they had a band.
Their menu does not have a lot of options but the food is quite tasty. The best chicken wings I have ever tasted.
Beautiful spot by the beach, service was slow, and food was hit or miss. The burger I had was great, the chicken tenders were abominable, and the fries were alright.
The staff was amazing. The service provided, and we had a large group, was great for a party our size. The food was good, a bit disappointed in the meat, churrasco, quality. It was very chewy and not to satisfying comparing it to the quesadilla which was good. Outdoor seating has a beautiful vibe and definitely recommended.
This restaurant has a relaxing ambiance and amazing views toward the beautiful lagoon, beach and the largest hotel pool in Florida. I ordered the veggie flatbread and falafel. Both were excellent. The service was also pretty good, the waiter had a good sense of humor and thoughtful menu suggestions. I will definitely visit again when I have clients or friends from out of town staying at the Marriott Harbor Fort Lauderdale.
Great atmosphere and food was pretty good! We dined in the first time we went here, and service wasn’t bad, and everything was great. However, the service on the poolside is TERRIBLE. We waited for so long to order food, and the waiters kept passing by us. Then, we finally ordered our food, and we waited for at least another hour before getting our food. We opened the boxes to get our food, but we were missing an item! Another waiter came by and asked us what was wrong, so we replied that we were missing a food item, and his reply was: “You have to ask your waiter” and he hurriedly walked away. Instead of telling the chef or something and helping us, he sounded like he didn’t want to even talk to us. We did end up getting our food later. Overall, it was a pretty good experience other than the service.
Great ambiance. Calamari was delicious, but ordered the Octopus (was considering a different option but waiter sold us on it) and it was subpar at best. Wish we went with something else. Service was subpar. It started raining and there was no one around to help with opening the umbrellas so I stood on two chairs to open it before we got drenched.

Mediocre food with inconsistent quality. Crab dip was good though. Over priced - if on a budget, def at least get the loaded nachos (very decent serving size).
Meh. It is a hotel restaurant that serves ‘pool’ food. Think burgers and chicken strips and nothing fancy. It’s mediocre. But if you’re staying at the Marriott and don’t want to go out, it’s fine.
Steak was great, waitstaff was helpful. The pearl onions and rice that came with the steak sucked. Also came with asparagus not broccolini. I love asparagus but it wasn’t very good asparagus.
This is just glorified pool deck food. We walked over from a different hotel thinking it was a nice restaurant we had money to spend for a good family dinner night out. It’s just way over-priced for what you get. My fish tacos were very bland & boring, disappointment, especially compared to other area fish tacos. It was all just ok, but stupid expensive for the lower quality meals. The resort looks nice enough, my kids enjoyed seeing the lizards, but it’s not the Ritz. While you are sitting on a deck near the beach the view wasn’t impressive at all. The service was really so-so. Wouldn’t go back.
Great food, great live music, but infested with bugs (I believe adult flying termites). Staff were sweet despite being seemingly understaffed. It would have been a 5/5 experience if not for the bugs flying everywhere. They flew into our food, drinks, and onto ourselves, it was gross and did not appreciate the jumpscares of them landing on my neck, face, arms, etc. It was only after we left that we realized we didn't order the dessert we were excited to try, probably because we were eager to leave to get away from the bugs. We're definitely going back tomorrow to try that dessert and enjoy more food, but we are avoiding that whole seating area that is infested with those bugs as much as possible.
6 of us had Valentines dinner there. I had heard so many good things about C Level,I wanted to go there with my friends. We were SO disappointed! The Salmon was salty.but the pasta served with was un ate able. It was like a flower, paste, dry - just terrible -- only one person.ate it, because he was very hungry. I felt sad I recommended it, it was expensive and embarrassing.
The blackened mahi tacos sounded really good, I first ordered a local beer which was very good then the tacos, I was not impressed with the tacos at all. My food came out super fast...The mahi was not blackened, I think they served me the mahi that goes in the sandwich, that is what it seemed like to me. Definitely was not blackened. There were little Black lines I was pulling out of the mahi not sure what that was about I have eaten mahi before never saw those I was kind of worried I hope I don't get sick... Considering the description of these tacos I was expecting them to be extremely flavorful in which to my surprise they were not flavorful at all I had to ask for hot sauce .... Sweet potato fries were ok they needed to be cooked more, not appealing at all . A $40 lunch, really was not worth it at all, very disappointed, service was ok, best part was the view and the beer . I don't think I would go back. Going out to eat is not worth it anymore that is for sure ...go to the spa instead !!!
If it wasn’t for my really nice waiter I would have left one star. From the moment I arrived, The hostess and waitresses that greeted me at the front were very rude. Met me with disgusting looks, eye rolls, and an unprofessional level of sarcasm. I was seated inside and waited about 15 minutes before someone came over. The restaurant was very empty and was crawling with employees so there was no proper excuse for this . My food was good and came pretty quickly so that’s good but their service is terrible.
The waiter he did a great job unfortunately, the manager she was insulting and very unfriendly and ruined whole experience.
Important Update Regarding My Visit to Sea Level Restaurant During my recent visit to Sea Level, I unfortunately experienced a serious issue. After dining, I inadvertently left my American Express card on the table. Later that evening, I received a call from Amex’s fraud department alerting me to unusual activity on my account. Within just four hours of leaving the restaurant, someone attempted to use my card for a $1,800 purchase on the William Sonoma website. When that failed, they proceeded to make multiple successful purchases totaling $1,900 at the Apple Store in South Beach. While I cannot confirm who took the card, I strongly suspect it was not a fellow guest but rather someone on staff- possibly a busser who cleared the table. This kind of behavior is deeply disappointing and unacceptable, especially at a Marriott property that should uphold high standards of integrity and guest safety. I urge management to investigate this matter thoroughly and take steps to ensure such incidents do not happen again. Guests should feel secure dining at a hotel restaurant of this caliber. Visited Sea Level with high hopes, given its prime location and Marriott branding. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. The tuna poke lacked freshness, and the accompanying salads were dry and uninspired. On the bright side, the burger delivered - juicy, flavorful, and elevated by crisp pickles. Cream brûlée in pineapple was an interesting idea. It was good. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, which helped balance the overall experience. For a hotel restaurant, I expected a bit more finesse across the board.

So sad how you can’t order a kids cheeses burger unless you’re 12 and under. And the shrimp cocktail is now Bland. It was good spicy plus the sauce. If anyone complained about it being spicy they should get sauce on the side or perhaps stay home and eat Bland.
I stayed at Marriott Harbor View hotel and had my South Florida based family dine with me at Sea Level restaurant twice. After having the ceviche for dinner, I had diarrhea the entire next day. I thought perhaps this was isolated to the raw bar and we ate lunch there the next day. Subsequently, my mother and sister both got diarrhea; my sister had the grouper tacos and my mother had the burger. The hotel itself had orange tinged water (and yet charged $6 per bottle of provided water) and I’m just generally disappointed that a Marriott has such poor quality control — feels like I was dining and vacationing in a developing country rather than at a reputably branded hotel in the US.
I visited for a sunset dinner. The restaurant was 50% full. The hostess did not provide a warm or welcoming attitude. I waited over 20 minutes and wasn't offered water. I handed the menu back to the hostess. She did not show any concern on why I was leaving. This was the first time she smiled. The server also witnessed me leaving, and there was no attempt to keep me as a customer. Management is not witnessed anywhere in the restaurant. There is no one checking up on guests or visiting tables. There is major room for improvement. This is a low-end restaurant that had a nice view. I did not have the opportunity to enjoy the food. As sunset was almost over and no beverage were offered.
Worst service I've had in Ft Lauderdale. Food and views seemed good though
