It's quite obvious that one side is take-out and one side is dine-in when you walk up. A host saw us trying to navigate if we should sit and pleasantly told us to grab a table and he asked for our drink order right away. We each ordered a pizza and were pleasantly surprised! Crispy crust, zesty, flavorful sauce, perfect cheese - we both devoured our lunches. Our host/server was on-point, friendly, and accommodating. Don't wait for overrated, expensive burgers and shakes that give you irritated bowels mid-air when you have only a closet for a bathroom; eat fresh at this place. We'll definitely eat here again when we visit.

The manager who helped me out at the ft Lauderdale airport on Aug 20- 2:40 pm went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I didn’t get her name but she deserves some recognition for outstanding service and caring for customers. She knows her job and her restaurant very well and the pizza we got was delicious. I will definitely eat here again. Thank you!!

Avoid the lines at Starbucks and get your coffee fix here. Don't expect a triple latte with a splash of almond soya milk froth...but you will get service with a smile and no mile long lines.Thank you!

Had a couple hours to wait for our flight. We were very hungry and saw this after security. 10000% recommend. Great pizza, especially for the low price. We ordered the white chicken and little Italy with pepperoni added to it. Both pizzas were hot, fresh ingredients, fresh shredded parmesan. Their sausage is real Italian sausage, especially recommended that on your pizza. Our server Nicholas was great as well. Very friendly, quick service all with a smile.

Very unassuming airport terminal decor but the food and service were pretty good. Shout out to Heidi our server. We enjoyed the white chicken pizza with added mushrooms and the little Italy pizza with added pepperoni. Pretty tasty meatballs and the white chicken pizza was perfect with a little added table salt. We also enjoyed the wings; an 8 count with bbq sauce drizzled. The presentation was on plastic plates and plastic disposable cutlery but it’s finger food so no biggie. The star of the afternoon was the Sparkling Guava M argarita! Pretty delicious! Overall, a great experience! As a side note, we witnessed a very tactful exchange with the service staff and a very verbally abusive customer. Very impressive customer service. If you’re in a rush you should ask on the turnaround time so you won’t be frustrated. A good place to sit and wait for your flight while enjoying a good drink and a meal.

There are not lot of options late Sunday night but we managed to get mushroom pizza within 5 min before boarding. The pizza 🍕 is fresh baked and tasty 😋. The price is bit pricey but every thing else closed. 4 stars 🌟

Line to get seated and you get impression that you’ve been ignored Food is what you get at airports, nothing out of ordinary. Service were great .

While waiting for our flight at the Fort Lauderdale airport, we took a stroll to see what dining options were available. We ended up choosing Torn Basil, which had an Italian twist—pizza, meatballs, and a few other classics. It’s seat-yourself style, and one of the servers was already wiping down a table as we walked in. She handed us menus and we quickly figured out our drinks—Wifey went with a lemonade, and I ordered a Pernicious IPA from Wicked Weed. Their beer list had a nice mix of usual suspects and some decent craft picks. For food, Wifey  ordered the Grandma pizza and I went with the Italian-style wings, which our server mentioned had a dry rub. Drinks arrived fast, and not long after, our food hit the table. I had stepped away to use the restroom, and by the time I got back, everything was already set. My plate came with about eight wings—perfect portion, full of flavor. The pizza looked great too, and she was happy with her choice. Overall, everything hit the spot.  If you're looking for a quick, quality bite while passing through the airport, Torn Basil is definitely worth a stop. I even grabbed another Pernicious while we hung out at the gate before boarding.

I usually don’t like the food in the airport but it wasn’t bad. We seated ourselves despite the sign saying wait to be seated. The menus are on the table. We ordered the Bronx pizza $10.39 and a pop. It took 10 minutes. The pizza was hot and fresh. The soda was larger than I thought it would be. They have a limited menu but mostly pizza and some wings. They also have cocktails and beer if you just want to drink. It does tend to get busy in there.

Food was good. Had the Little Italy pizza and my wife had the Mushroom pizza. Would recommend both. Server had a lot of tables and was very busy but he handled it as well as he could. One of the other members of our group had their food served later than us but the server made up for it. Appreciate his effort.

We did not have a bad experience like the others who reviewed Torn Basil. We ordered off the menu in the little dining area. The dining area was clean. Our server was a sweetheart. No complaints. The pizza was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but good. It didn't take a long time to get either. We had some nice wine as well. We left happy.

Pizza was pretty good. Penne pasta with meatballs and red sauce was delicious. Definitely would eat here again!

Met my needs for beer and pizza. I was wary based on the reviews here but I found the pizza just fine. More flatbread than pizza, but the topping were fresh. I had the Grandma which is topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, and pesto. The tomatoes were canned (which is fine by me) but the mozzarella and pesto were fresh which I really enjoyed. Pair that with a Sam Seasonal and you have a decent pre-flight meal in an otherwise lacking terminal. The bartenders were super friendly and helpful, too. I’d come back.

R
Renee Payne

The pizza was very flavorful, they need more workers in there to clean and wait on the customers in a timely manner; it was a little pricey, but I know....it's airport prices.

It's the airport and the food is average. The service is consistently good. We have sat here on many occasions.

S

Loud, no separation from the terminal but one of the only places to sit down and have a meal. We were not in a rush so I was glad of relaxed service. There is a takeaway counter if in a hurry. Food was basic but tasty. I had the caprese salad and Grandma pizza. Quality thin crust and real toppings. Daughter had Alfredo with chicken and she liked it. $50 for the food plus 2 fountain drinks. Expensive for what it is, but this is the airport so I wasn’t shocked. They add 18% gratuity but you can adjust that up or down as you see fit. Our waitress was friendly, great service.

P

Ordered an egg & cheese on an asiago bagel, it was decent and filling. Paid $6.30 for it. They did/do not include 18% grayuity in the total.

This Torn Basil eatery is in the FLL airport terminal 2 . I’m there now and it is quite busy due to no competition on this side of terminal 2. I had the pasta and meatballs . It was bland until the salt, pepper and garlic was added. However the beer was cold and tasty. Thanks for reading my review and a thumbs up would increase my google rating.

It’s not the worst pizza you’ll ever eat. But certainly not the best. I’d recommend going with the simpler pizza. Our server was nice and she’s the one that made the pizza.

Well I am running out of options in the morning when traveling in this terminal. The food is ok. The service is ok. The other options are waiting the incredible long line at Starbucks or that awful service at the bagel place. Maybe FLL needs to make some changes

K
Katrina Jones

Pizza was just ok and they still have items on their menu that they no longer serve which was pretty disappointing.

D
Darrell Hamilton

The food is good enough. The coffee is overpriced. It is cheaper and better over at Starbucks. The table QR codes were not working. The server was not with it , mixing up orders and getting testy over minor things. I felt like she was trying to blame me for the QR codes not working. The bagels are good. I recommend the take out counter and get your coffee at Starbucks.

Torn Basil is a one of the restaurant options at the Fort Lauderdale Airport. I think its of the old remaining outlets as all the other spots are updated and new. However this is the only spot in the terminal that you can sit at the bar and watch a game or something while waiting for your flight. The issue is the tvs are old and not working well. Also the pizza is just flat bread that is not very good. The bar staff is quite nice and try to be accommodating so kudos to him. Also the automatic service charge of 18% for 2 people is new and a tip on top of that?

S
Shivanna

Horrible customer service—don’t let them bully you! My flight was delayed, and I received meal vouchers. With limited food options at Gate D, I decided to try Torn Basil. The Alfredo pasta was good, and despite the wait to be seated, everything seemed fine until I asked to use my meal voucher. The waiter got annoyed and claimed they needed paper vouchers, sending me to wonder around the terminal trying to figure out what to do. After confirming via the email from my airline that I just needed to show my boarding pass, I returned to the restaurant, but the waiter rudely refused again. I had to involve the manager, who instantly accepted the voucher. There was zero accountability, no apology… even the manager made it seem like I was the problem. I also had to insist they remove the 18% gratuity that was added to my bill. This was an unnecessarily frustrating experience—poor service like this is unacceptable. My vouchers was $30USD for 2 people, my bill was $46USD. I paid the remaining without the gratuity and walked out.

Fort Lauderdale airport. In spite of having a sign at the front that says wait to be seated, I ultimately had to have a seat at the bar. No one came to the front to seat me and another customer. I placed my order at the bar, Classic Cheese and regular coke. The lady next to me ordered a pepperoni pizza (both were personal pan pizzas). Although I ordered first, she received her pizza before I received mine. I inquired about the pizza and the female bartender seemed slightly annoyed by me asking about the pizza. Another couple comes in and sit right beside me and ordered a sandwich and pepperoni pizza. You guessed it….they received their order before I received my CHEESE pizza. How long does it take to make a cheese pizza??? Finally, the pizza arrived, oddly shaped and not hot. (See attached picture). I would certainly hate to think that I received poor service, and poor quality pizza in FLORIDA based on my race, African-American. I definitely will not patronize this establishment again. I gave it two stars because the coke was good. The restaurant is next to Terminal D1. Tip….one penny and they really didn’t earn that.

I had the meatball sandwich and it was a nice tasty portion of food. I do recommend it. The customer service is just okay. They didn’t threat us badly like some other people, but they obviously don’t have people skills nor do they care.

Take out options include individual pizzas & meatballs. Pizza dough is premade. Minimal canned mushrooms placed on my small individual pizza. Pizza’s are placed through conveyor oven. Pizza came out soft & hot. (Warning: there are few food options in this terminal for non-airline club members) so this pizza appears to be a one of limited options for HUNGRY, non-business travellers. Atmosphere is dark & employees food handling practices need review (e.g. cell phone use, touching cash register, receipts, money, glove changes, hand washing ). Noted condiment barely stocked. No forks, no Parmesan cheese, no salt. Gave service 3 stars as Waitress in sit down restaurant section kindly handed me provided me w/ use of salt shaker from restaurant. Hope they make positive healthy changes soon as this is a busy terminal.

$10 for a bagel with egg bacon and cheese. Slightly over priced and took 10 min to get. Nice place to sit down though.

So so bad. Don’t go here. Waited 45 minutes to get a cold piece of pizza that looks like it’s straight out of the freezer. Waitress was pissed when I asked for a warm pizza. Super irritated that they have an auto gratuity.

**Review for Torn Basil** ⭐ 1 star Worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. Save your money or eat snacks until you can get to decent food. First and foremost, my pizza came out oblong. It looked like a flat inner tube that was stretched out of proportion. It was burned on the bottom. They’re calling it Italian beef, but it tasted horrible. Definitely not worth the money or the time waiting for it. The only redeeming aspect was the service. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made the experience slightly more bearable. However, good service can’t make up for bad food. On top of that, they add an 18% service charge to your total, which felt unwarranted given the poor quality of the food. The place is also not well lit, which adds to the unpleasant atmosphere. They should fire the chef and get quality ingredients to make pizzas. There are plenty of better pizza places around—avoid Torn Basil and spend your time and money elsewhere. ---

Waited for 30 mins on the line to get seated and another 40 mins to get our pizza sorry (Costco naan with cheese ) only two servers who can’t able to handle (care )all the tables . All they are expecting 18% gratuities for the awefull food and another 10 minutes to waiting for our bill. This business has to thank the god which is in airport .otherwise no one for sure to go there .

This has been the worse dining experience ever. Ordered 2 pizzas, one came. Ordered a salad the server went to the grab and go section and brought what was to be a salad. Barely edible. Croutons were disgusting. Server ran his butt off not because he was busy but he couldn't focus on what table Ordered what food. Next time thru FLL I'll stand in line at the shake shack

There's only one server for the entire sit-down area. So if you try to bypass that and go to the takeout, you get charged and additional $5 as part of the exemption fee for not utilizing their sit-down service

Terrible, slow service AND they will automatically add a tip to your bill. I know options at the airport are limited but there is another bar in the same terminal.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. My relative and I sat at the bar to have a drink before our flight. We waited 15 minutes for a bartender to serve us and the restaurant was EMPTY. When the bartender, Jennifer, finally arrived, she had an immediate attitude. She did not greet us and demanded we present our IDs. We ignored her rude demeanor then proceeded to show her our identification. After she took approximately 60 seconds to read my date of birth, my relative handed her ID to Jennifer. As soon as my relative pulled her ID out of her purse, Jennifer exclaimed that she couldn’t serve us bc of her paper ID. We have traveled from Atlanta (where we drank at the bar in the airport) and been in Miami for five days without any issue and being served alcohol our entire trip. Jennifer stated it was AGAINST THE LAW for her to serve my relative alcohol bc it was a paper ID (although it had the state seal and barcode on it). We looked up the law in Florida and we had let Jennifer know that this in fact was not a law and paper IDs are completely acceptable as form of identification specifically for travel and being served alcohol. Jennifer still refused to serve us and exclaimed that she’s been bartending for 40 years and she “knows the law”. We asked to speak with the manager. Jennifer walked us to the manager who was across the airport, and informed us that it’s not the law, however, it’s against their restaurant’s policy to accept a paper ID. Jennifer proceeded to yell at us saying she knew the law then stated, “She’s JUST a manager and doesn’t know what she’s talking about.” We left the issue alone and thanked the manager for the proper information. We went to another bar in the airport since this was their policy at their restaurant. However, the manager went to the other bartenders and told them not to serve us and to adopt their restaurant’s “no paper ID policy”. I have never been so racially profiled in my life and will NOT be giving Torn Basil my business and do not suggest this restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at this location. I ordered two pizzas, ($35 CAD) but the wait was extremely long. Others who ordered AFTER me RECEIVED THEIR FOOD FIRST! When I asked for any available pizzas since my flight was boarding, they refused, even though my order ticket was on their board. Poor customer service—I had to leave without my order. Very disappointing!

L

Pizza is overpriced and tastes terrible. The box would indicate a pizza double what you get and photos on the front of the display shows a much bigger pizza. Terrible!

S

It took a little over 45 minutes to receive our appetizer, which was tasty but quite small as a portion even for an appetizer. When we received our bill, an 18% tip was automatically added, even though the service was extremely slow and inattentive. Not too many options for dinner at the airport, but this one won’t ever be one of our choices.

F

Could it be because there is no other option after checking in at this airport that we must eat rubbish? Burnt, salty and acidic pizza.

Don’t go to this store, rude waitress, she made a mistake that cost me $12 dollars when I asked her why, she started yelling at me …. Horrible experience……

A
A. B.

Our server Brittany was so rude for no good reason! But of course, she wouldn't care how she treats customers because her 20% tip was included. We wanted to give her nothing because that's what she deserved. On top of that our one piece of pizza took forever and when we wanted to pay, she wouldn't take our card, we had to wave her down 15 minutes later. Horrible experience all around, save your headache and go somewhere else!

J
Jalon Ross

Customer service is non existent here. They have a sign out front that says wait to be seated. Servers and hosts consistently walk by without acknowledging that you are there. I stood there for 10 minutes and no one even said, “give us a moment”. The food is also not worth the wait anyways. Although there are limited food options in this airport, I would avoid this place.

D
Daniel Scott

The bartender yelled at her manager after being corrected about shorting wine orders. Sitting at the bar service was non existent. I waited 30 minutes for my check, and news flash my receipt and card are still sitting on the bar 10 minutes later. And yes they do charge 18 percent with out option. I want to leave nothing. Don't go here!!!!

D
Dora D

Nobody answers the phone. I’ve been trying to call them for days. I’ve called 10+ times and they refuse to answer the phone. I’m just trying to get a receipt for my expense report pathetic customer service. To top it all off my pizza was dry.

R
Ron Pickering

What a terrible place this is. They have a stupid app to order food that doesn't work. The food is absolutely garbage and served on plastic, disposable plates. This is not the place you want to eat at right before boarding a flight. I'll go as far to say that it should be closed down.

S
Steve Hoover

Had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated despite seating being available. Food was ok but hardly warm....pizza crust was hard. Waiter was hurried and brought out a wrong drink....Jameson and coke instead of a Modelo beer. He also forgot to bring out one of our pizzas. When the bill came we were were charged $40 for 2 doubles (Jameson/coke) which were actually singles. Would not recommend unless you are desperate!

M

Me and my mom was at the airport to grab something to eat this morning and the attendant this morning was very rude she was screaming in my face. We really wanted to try the pizza and ended up not because of her . She was very aggressive you should never talk to a customer the way this woman talked to me. If someone wants to reach out from management to me I will be more specific how to identify her .

K

Pizza was good, beer was cold. Service sucked. Waited at the host stand only to be told to sit anywhere. 20 minutes later someone came to take my order. Ordered a cold one, that came quickly. Tried to order food, repeatedly. Was told one minute. Absolute disorganized mess, in a place that needs to have maximum attentiveness to move travelers.

D

Never orden the alfredo pasta…. This recípe is the worse I ever tasted. Do not order this is you have a good sense of what alfredo pasta is…… is made with white macaroni pasta and a sauce of indescribable source and taste.

J

One of the rudest counter attendants I’ve ever encountered in my travels. Very abrupt, rude tone and walked away from me after refusing to make a bagel at 9:40 in the morning….truly astounding that this person has a job in service. If I owned the restaurant she would have been fired on the spot.

B
Bryce Griffiths

What a bizarre place. It was lined out the door so I thought it must be ok. They serve the "pizza" on Costco naan. How do you claim to specialize in pizza and use pre-made flat bread? It was served on a plastic plate with a plastic fork and knife. So while the place looks cute it gives potluck vibes. The server was mostly good except when she came up to me while I'm literally still chewing and had half my food still on my plate. Next time I'll wait and eat plane food.

J
Johnny Smooth

Terrible place 1. Bar maids walk around clueless- ask them for something 3 times still no response 2. Music sucks heavy metal shine 3. They include 18% tip regardless of how good or in this case pass poor they perform 4. Prices are always ridic at airport - If you want people to go back to enjoying flying - especially after dealing with idiots at the TSA - give them something to look forward to In today's world its the pay me regardless of my customer service experience- it's a shame so many places are like this nowadays 😔 And they wonder why people lose they minds when traveling and everyone is on a short fuse Gone are the days where flying was a great experience- now its worse than taking a public bus

K

My husband and I were seated at the bar of this restaurant on 2/27/23. There was a Caucasian gentleman who was seated at the same time as my husband and I. The gentleman next to us received a menu promptly upon being seated, received food and a drink before Michelle even acknowledged that we were there. There was also a Caucasian woman who was seated about 5-10 minutes after we were seated and she received a menu and prompt service as well from Michelle. About 5 minutes after Michelle gave the gentleman next to us his food she then asked if we had been helped and when we said we hadn’t she finally gave us a menu. After receiving a menu we did not receive any further assistance. My husband and I decided to leave after being at this bad for about 45 minutes without water or anyone taking our order. I have never received such poor service. The bar was not busy and as I stated the Caucasian gentleman and woman that were seated at the same time as us and after us were well tended to, he finished his food and drink before we decided to finally leave. I hate to say but it seemed as if we were invisible and I have never felt so uncomfortable and experienced such racism as an African American couple. When we finally decided to leave the woman who seated us asked why we were in the waiting area again and we explained to her what happened and she was able to bring us to the on site supervisor who offered us some assistance.

The place needs a new management. Can't order food because kitchen can't handle many orders, and people turn back, lost income. Every single table was not cleaned .

J

This place is such a disorganized disaster area. Once you get seated after a lengthy wait, you'll experience another long wait for a server as the servers fight over what tables are there's. Then, once they do take your order and your food comes, you'll be disappointed with the quality. Very mediocre pizza, no flavor or barely any sauce. Do yourself a favor and go stand in line at another one of the terminals eateries.

M
Mark Closson

Worst restaurant experience ever! I ordered at the walkup because I assumed it was like any casual dinner, order at front and take ticket and wait at table. I took my receipt and sat at a table, drinking the soda I ordered. The server then came up to me and proceeded to "kick me out" of the dining area, claiming it was "dine-in" only. It's an airport, I paid for the food, why can't I sit at the table? AND They wouldn't give me a refund! I refused the food and walked out. WORST SERVICE EVER.

Don't eat here!! Run away and never look back!! If you find yourself hungry and looking for something to eat. you're better off going to the other places around. Waited over 1 hour and 40 mins for some of the most bland and tasteless food I have ever had. The waiter was wonderful even though he had 20 tables and no help. Asked the manager for a discount and was told they were short staffed and that it was due to holiday season. Other staff was hanging around chatting and not even helping run food. Probably any sane person wouldn't want to work there either. Was not even given a discount on our meal. Absolute mismanagement and disorganized. Run run away from this place as fast as you can.

I do not recommend this restaurant Very expensive and very low quality Staff is rude and really does not care about customer service Not many options at this terminal Turn Basil should not be one of them

Horrible service. Extremely slow. Employees don't even know what the food is. AND the lady at the pizzas isnt wearing a hair net

If it was possible to give less than one star I would, the staff was completely unresponsive. There is a “please wait to be seated” sign and I waited over ten minutes with the staff completely ignoring me. They were unresponsive when trying to get their attention. In an airport, they need to up the efficiency. People are here for small increments so their service needs to be fast and kind. This place needs a complete overhaul. Even the guests sitting down were frustrated because the service was so bad.

C
Christina Tarasevych

The pizza is good, but the service is absolutely horrible! The woman was so lazy and didn’t even answer us when we asked here, she didn’t care! We waited 20 minutes, people got their pizza before me tho we ordered first. Hope that woman gets fired honestly, my boarding was in 6 minutes but she took all of here time🥹

Even 1 star feels overrated. I ordered a chicken Alfredo takeout before a flight and discovered four pieces of white string mixed into the pasta while feeding my kids. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they first brushed it off as plastic from the fork, then suggested it might be from a scrubber. They did apologize, but the response felt dismissive rather than genuinely concerned. I wasn’t looking for a refund — only to warn them, since other customers could experience the same issue. It was a very unsanitary and disappointing experience, and I wish I had checked their reviews first as they already have plenty of bad reviews.

What a dismal experience! I should have heeded the bad reviews but there is not much else in terms of restaurants on Terminal 2 FFL. After standing in line for a sit-down meal for 30 minutes the hostess waved me to come over to the bar even though there were empty tables, she seemed to be the only staff other than the guy behind the bar, who was ok as he was relatively quick to get my drink and food order (the latter only after asking him for the menu!). I ordered the Little Italy Pizza and it looked nothing like on the menu picture (see photo). It tasted like stale microwave pizza. But the most offensive thing was the plastic plate and cutlery it was served on! Seriously unsustainable! Can’t you invest into some dinnerware and cutlery, serving thousands of people every month in this busy airport? Avoid this “restaurant” if you can!

Ordered take out while waiting for flight. Female Staff member handling all customer interactions was shockingly impolite and rude to all I observed while waiting. I am fairly confident I have literally never left a review in my life, but thought this interaction was worth making public. There is no way the labor market is this tight. They can do better. Pizza was good though. :)

If this wasn't the only restaurant in the airport it would have to be shut down from terrible service. Never been talked to so poorly from wait staff for over priced microwave pizza with 18% required gratuity

M
Mike B

$52 for one beer and 2 very bland 6" pizzas. Even by airport standards this is a total rip off. They also bury a 15% "service charge" in the bill and then thoughtfully leave gratuity slot on the bill wide open for your convenience. STAY FAR AWAY! When you see a restaurant at a busy airport with open tables there is a reason! Don't make the mistake i did lol!

T
Travis Pritchett

Terrible food, rude server. Make sure to zero out your tips. After being kicked out for using a laptop after buying pizza and beers, the server added an additional $10 tip on top of the mandatory 18%. Stay far far away from this place

It’s crazy that the airport would undergo such a nice remodel and yet they have a tenant like this. It’s always filthy with stuff everywhere and the employees are beyond rude. It’s about $45 for two small personal pizzas and two cokes.

R
Ratmir Nikolayev

Employees with shitty attitude . Asked for the price she just pointed towards the Manu selling slices as a personal pizza. For 13$ . Dry gross pizza too salty DO NOT BUY

t

Slow, disorganized service. A lot of the employees there are aloof, inept, and not socially calibrated. Their bagel with cream cheese is a toasted bagel which comes with a meager 1 oz condiment container of cream cheese that you have to put on the bagel yourself.

Terrible. You'd be better off eating your shoes. From service to quality of food. This place sucks. Hope you're ready to wait over 1hr for food so poor it wouldn't be served for free

C

Food is overpriced and very low quality. On top of that, they add a tip/gratuity to your bill without telling you or any warning before. Very shady business practices. Would not recommend, spend your money somewhere else.

Our server was extremely rude and she didn’t seem like she liked her job. They ran out of food by 11am. This place is definitely a skip. Food was dry and bacon seemed old.

This terminal is pretty damn bad. Wait time for food is ridiculous. I don’t know how they call this dough and expired cheese pizza !! Horrible food and above all I got a hair in my mushroom “pizza” … barffffff

G

The server is the rudest person I have ever met. Immediately came at me with an attitude. Does not deserve to be serving people.

M

Waiting 15 mins to get in - server ignored us. Serve coffee in a real cup, not a take out cup and have real milk / creamer as opposed to the coffee mate creamer

Food is edible but not good. Works to get a drink at. Poor sterile and bleak atmosphere. 18% Service charge is added

Stopped there on the way home to Detroit. The service was horrendous. Wait time to order was lengthy. Wait time for food was even longer. Asked for the bill numerous times. When the bill finally arrived, it was not itemized just a total and a 18% gratuity was already added. If I could have subtracted the tip, I certainly would have done so. Sixty dollars for 3 meatballs subs and three cokes is ridiculous. There was a woman in blue jeans that I thought maybe the manager (Not our waiter). She was so rude and condescending to people. Explained the customer service. If you are in Ft. Lauderdale airport, do anything you can do not to eat there. Starving would even be a better option than subjecting yourself to that restaurant.

J
Joshua Wood

Made the mistake of assuming the menu was at least generally accurate in the description of its food. Nothing like 10 bucks for effectively a microwave pizza. Red pepper flakes added by me because not only is it not spicy as advertised it is rather devoid of flavor.

After waiting 30 mins was sat at bar. 20 more minutes and a couple walked in and sat directly across from us. The seating meant they were practically on top of us. We moved to one if three open tables to be able to eat with some privacy and was challenged by a different waitress and told to go back to the bar. We had to leave without finishing our food. I get this was her table and so her tip (another reason to end tips) but their lack of controlling seating was selective and prejudicial to us. Would recommend to stay clear of establishments that treat their customers only as sources of cash instead of people looking for service.

Our server Lindsey was great. Every single dish we ordered tasted like microwave frozen dinners. Dishes we ordered were classic cheese pizza, little Italy pizza, chicken wings, pasta with meatballs, and Alfredo pasta. All other restaurants in this terminal are pretty much garbage with the exception of Shake shack. Do yourself a favour and go to Shake Shack.

C
Chase B

Surprisingly you can’t give it zero stars. Waited for ten minutes at the hostess table at the “wait to be seated” and multiple employees just walked by and never said anything to acknowledge the line. Eventually went to quick self serve side and received a $7 “service charge exemption” on my bill. I assume because handing pizza over a glass barrier is worth a $7 tip. Pizza was also just not good. Would rather not eat then pay here again.

Just spent a fantastic 5 days in Fort l Lauderdale. Service at the Marriott Harbour Club Hotel was fantastic and all the restaurants in town were great. Did not experience a bad attitude once. Arrived early in the morning at this restaurant as there's nowhere else to sit and have a breakfast. Only Bagels to eat, not even Croissants. Server was unfriendly from the start. Ordered my 10-year-old son a Bacon Bagel, the Bacon was so hard you could tap it on the plate and hear it through the restaurant. Asked the server to cook a new one. She told me this is how bacon is cooked in a highly condescending manner, refuse to help. The food was as bad as the service...

The service was absolutely DESPICABLE . When I asked where I could order she put one of her fingers in her ear ears to pick it and just hummed like I’m supposed to know what “mm” means. Then when I said “where?” She said over there very rudely. She took 20 minutes to make some of the worst pizza conceived. This place sucks. At least they had a little bit of decor.

I had coupon from air line was 2 dollars short, wanted to pay the difference, with my credit card. But she used our second coupon and used all 15 dollars instead of two dollars. Funny thing is she did not tell us she used all 15. We found out latter and when. We asked why she threaten us with security. So nice you stealing out money and instead of saying sorry you want to call security.

Pésimo. No vayan.
