The food and prices are decent but I mostly enjoy the atmosphere. This is a community diner. Many of the patrons are local, and it's a comfortable place to have a cup of coffee and a meal with family or friends. My kids always like to visit and look forward to receiving a pop after they eat.

5 S Diner has always been a favorite place of mine. I can remember being a kid and having big family dinners there. It's nice to be able to go back and still have the same enjoyable experience every time.

Love coming here when I'm in town. All-you-can-eat spaghetti night is my favorite. All the regular menu fair is delicious as well. Recently was there with a large group and eveything went well. Staff was friendly and fun.

This is a terrific little local cafe with first-rate breakfast served until noon on Fridays. The hash browns, Italian toast, corned beef hash and over-easy eggs all were perfect 10s. Friendly, local customers, nice service, fluorescent lights (oh well)... we will be back...

WOWEE! Classic diner fare, all homemade, and really inexpensive. We had cold plates, with homemade salads. We saw burgers with homemade French fries at another table...can't get homemade, never frozen fries in most places! Sweet waitress. We're going back!

Overall, we had a great experience. We had great service, the staff were very attentive, and they were very quick. Their prices were just as great. There were a lot of options on their menu, including gluten-free toast and muffins. I have several food allergies and the waitress was great with answering my questions. However, there were no dairy-free options, and they were unable to prepare eggs without cooking them on the same shared cooking surface. We would definitely go back. I just wish there were more allergy friendly options.

You seriously cannot beat the prices here, good food and a extremely relaxed environment. My absolute favorite is the Turkey club, I hope you got a big mouth because their clubs are no joke, nice and big. Love taking my mother here to catch up on life. Seriously great diner.

We love the 5S Diner. We've been going there for more than 30 years and still enjoy it. We had breakfast and it was fresh, hot and definitly delicious. Recommend them 100% Oh and the waitresses are exceptional !!!!!

Being retired I wanted to treat my son and his family (party of 5) after church services to a good meal. 5S Diner was close so we decided to try it. Much to our pleasure the staff was courteous, prompt to serve us, the food was warm, the coffee was great and the food was served to each of us at the same time. The tables and floors were clean as was the dinnerware.

Our waitress was great. She was friendly and quick. The location is a bit non-descript but the food is totally worth it. I was there with a friend and we both had the bacon cheeseburger with the seasoned patty and fries. The burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was juicy and we'll seasoned and the bacon was perfect.

A competent diner. There are no pretenses here. If you want eggs, you get eggs... prepared correctly. Service is friendly and the food even outside of breakfast is usually what most would consider decent diner food. A great place to stop for lunch or an early dinner if one wants to get off the thruway for an exit and explore.

Been eating here for years. Always have Gluten Free items for us that need it. That speaks loudly to me.

They were very busy but the time it took to get food was decent. Although they forgot my side order of bacon. Which they corrected. The food is good not great. You can get breakfast all day. That's awesome. Bathrooms could use a little work. But clean enough. All in all i will continue to go back during hunting season because that's our spot between morning and afternoon hunts. I would recommend it to try.

Cute place,I was in the area and stopped for lunch. I got grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was like tomato paste and cold ,even the bowl was ice cold. The grilled cheese had 1 slice of cheese on it I think. I figured I would just take the soup home and milk and warm it up, but thw waitress was annoyed when I asked for a cup to take it home in, she stated they have nothing like that. Finally after chasing her down to pay the bill I asked for anything to take it home in since I paid for it and im not a wasteful person she basically threw and aluminum Togo container at me. The Diner was back and staff looked to me short, but still not a reason for the lack of hot food or good service. I was there 11/19/25

Ordered fish fry...Friday special...first try was well overcooked-even the waitress stated as she served it-second recooked fish was still over done, but I accepted it. Flavors as expected, hard time getting staff attention, bill given when halfway through eating, no offer for desserts, then could see staff in kitchen playing with their hair and touching their faces ( nose, sneeze) without washing after...not my first time there ..3rd and is a no frills place, but would go back and try again as I prefer diners to chains

First timer. Lunch time, not that busy. Tried the breakfast. The french toast and bacon was excellent. The western omelette with cheddar cheese not so much. Home fries had zero taste. White toast was standard not great but not bad. Coffee was better than a usual diner. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Look pretty clean.

Ham & cheese sub was just o.k. My husband did not like his fish and fries. Service was excellent.

Food was ok my over lite eggs were over medium which sucks, price was fair with good portions. The bad was the staff they were not very friendly and even rude and I waited 10 minutes for a refill and not because they were busy

At opening the owner put forth an exciting future of good country cooking. The food is like from a cafeteria. Institutional. Far from being home cooked or home style.

I ordered a anitpasto. It comes to me with lettuce... I 19 yrs old expect it to be with pasta. So I kindly ask of there is pasta that comes with it. The lady laughed at me and said no there is no pasta in antipasto. I look on Google and it comes up as there's 2 kinds pasta and lettuce! She then said it was under the tossed salad section. I then corrected her and said "actuallu it said "Salad" " So I was embarassed as the whole restaurant looks at me.. Then if I thought it couldn't get any worse, it did... She screams "Does anyone want this salad!? I sunk in my seat. I then was not asked what I wanted for my side of my sub. She gave me chips and pickles the two things I hate. So I kindly asked if I could have a side order of potatoes. Instead of exchanging it, I gave the chips n pickles to my husband. So my potatoes come back cold.. So I took 2 bites and now I'm currently waiting for a take put tray so I can take it home and nuke(microwave) it.

Wenr there a couple of weeks ago they brought me the wrong order I said things happen and took it in stride went there in today and there was a blond hair in my food they took it back gave me another plate but I was just disgusted and they charged me for it that's the last time and no it wasn't my hair I am a black woman

We ordered over medium eggs and got scrambled .ordered sausage and got bacon .ordered French toast and got pancakes and waited over an hour for our food .worst experience ever and it's the second time we experienced it there..

Long time customer. But after politely suggesting multiple times that the menu has gotten outrageously expensive and having it be excused or ignored, I'm done. Prices are high everywhere, got it. They are CRAZY high here. No, this place isn't cheaper than other places. Some of the food is good but a lot of my friends and family miss how it was a year ago when we knew we weren't being taken advantage of just to fund the next way to trick people into paying twice what they should for a meal. Hint, a grilled cheese and canned tomato soup shouldn't cost 8.50 at any time but when it's advertised as a special, it really rubs our nose in it. There are other places that I can eat at four times for the same price as three meals here and the food is better there. Feel bad for the staff that are trying to get this to break through the echo chamber of bs and explains high turnover.

Went there for dinner with wife and kids. A very disappointing experience. Wife ordered 3, 3 different meals only to have someone come out and tell her "we are out of that". 3 times. Burger was not seasoned, very bland. Fries had zero seasoning on them. Daughter ordered chicken tenders, and they were out of chicken tenders. A very popular diner item. They were out of mac and cheese too lol. It was a swing and a very very big miss. Diners need customers in order to be successful. Dont make it so they never want to come back. If I could take the star back I had to leave on the review I certainly would.

I’ve ordered twice from this place and I won’t be ordering a third the food is disgusting. Burnt hasbrown. Soggy toast but toast is suppose to be toasted. Eggs nothing to them undercooked. Grilled cheese not a hint of cheese in it literally bread sandwich? Fries hard as a rock. Idk who’s cooking at this joint but they need to find a new job immediately. Money down the drain won’t make that mistake again. Homeless shelter jail food at best.
