I've been here many times and the food never fails to amaze me! I heard that they make their own sauce for the gyro, which is evident because it really tastes good. The service is great as well and the staff is friendly!

This restaurant is excellent. Visited Fort Plain on the weekend before the 4th f July - we found the Mediterranean Kitchen and the meals were awesome. The greek salad was so large and fresh that we ate it for the next three(3) days The filafel platter were excellent as well. Give this place a try - you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food that's authentic. Owners were wonderful. Place was clean and kitchen area looked spotless. Food was flavorful, came out hot and were large portions. Definitely a place to go back to!

Moving here from NYC, I was blown away with how AMAZING this food is! The gyros were on point - not too heavy on the dill and the meat had a perfect balance of seasoning - and all was fresh. The moussaka - and I am one to turn up a nose at eggplant - was truly wonderful. Next time I will order my own instead of eating half of my friend’s. And the Baklava!!! The words to describe... that was Hands Down the singular best I have EVER had. Seriously. Ever. Not too sweet. Not too much honey. Not overwhelming nuts (was that pistachio I tasted?) Just a perfect mix, and then a final filo layer to cap it off - the perfect buttery and flaky crunch. Get a pound. For yourself. I may now just live here. Stop off in Fort Plain, if Only to eat here.

This wonderful little place appeared out of the blue for us while we were traveling. I wish they were local to where I live. We had one of the best falafel and a very flavorful chicken shawarma but the recommended dish of eggplant with a tomato base was incredible. Enough to take leftovers for dinner. The owners were also very nice to talk to and gave recommendations. We will definitely return when traveling in the area again.

Great food, better people. Our daughter was restless and we were going to leave. The owner took her to play the piano while we finished our food

The food was really good, we had cacik, hummus, falafel, beef kebab, and the kids had burgers. Portions were big.

Nicest people in town! We ate here on Sunday 7/20/25 and had an exceptionally wonderful meal! Honemade food made with love and culinary skill! The owners/chefs are the kind of business owners every town needs. Thank you, the Mykel Family

Nice looking place, very cozy and clean, really nice hardworking owner, got chicken gyro and chicken over rice, and grape leaf rolls, all were excellent! The menu has a lot of choices, all look great! Long overdue on our review, but better late then never. 4 of us rode the Erie Canal trail in May and found this restaurant. They love cyclists. You will not leave hungry. Food is great, and so are the owners. Frank came out from the kitchen and talked to us and told us stories. We are going back in September.

This place was wonderful! We had chicken kebabs, falafel and grape leaves, and all were delicious. The kids had a burger and fries which was also great. The owners were very friendly. I can’t recommend highly enough. I wish we lived closer!

So we walked in for baklava and we got very delicious baklava. It was a little pricey but really tasty! The man was very nice. The dinning area was interesting. I think this is an a takeout mostly kinda place. I can not speak to the food but the baklava was excellent!

I really hate leaving bad reviews but I was hoping all the good comments were not written by robots but it seems that they were. I've traveled to Spain and India so ive eaten plenty of Mediterranean inspired cuisine. This spot is kind of like one of those down state gas station spots and terms of their menu. My first request was a kebab which i was told would be a 30 mins even though I was the only person there and all the lights were off in the kitchen so I assume they had to turn on the grills and stuff. So I ordered the gyro thinking that it would be a safe bet but the meat smells like it's starting to go rancid and it was definitely microwaved so on top of being kind of slimy and past expiration, it's dry and rubbery and they put it on top of all the vegetables and it looks really unappealing and sloppy. Sorry for the nad review, i know we are in rural Upstate NY but you should still have pride in the food that you make especially if it is representing your culture. I would just stick with Cap Region Mediterranean places. The atmosphere and the food just wasn't my cup of tea unfortunately. I'm going to throw this gyro out and just go make a dinner at home unfortunately.

Had high hopes, quickly went away as I watched the meat for my gyro being microwaved. Such a shame. I tried a piece and it had great flavor. The person behind counter was friendly. Would definitely be a higher rating had things been fresh.

Poor experience. Food was wrong. Tried to convince person to "just eat it anyway". Fries arrived nearly an hour after burger was delivered. Bathroom trash overflowing, no paper towels. Food refrigerators were unlocked and accessible to tampering in the hallway on the way to the bathroom. Took our drink order, then instructed us to grab the drinks ourselves from the cooler behind our table. Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.

I'm Italian & Greek, my Greek grandmother had her own garden & was an amazing cook. I've made Moussaka Avgolemono soup, Butter cookies with sesame seeds on top, Baklava & so much more! I have tried this place several time's & every single time I bought something it was gross! First of all Moussaka DOES NOT look or TASTE like this! It's not even made right. The eggplant was so greasy, no meat (usually beef or lamb) & white cream sauce that goes on top. I took one bite of their "Moussaka" & I spit it in the garbage! My son said cant be that bad. I said here, try a bite! He made a face & said i cant eat that & spit it out! I've had their Baklava before . . Omg, nasty! He uses his own "syrup" instead of HONEY & pistachio nuts instead of walnuts. The "syrup" is what ruins it. You use honey!!! The Chicken Buffalo pizza was burnt & slightly undercooked in the middle. My son loves HOT stuff, me not so much. He took one bite & spit his out too bc it was too hot & greasy for his taste! I've tried a few time's but each time disappointed & a waste of money! I spent $33 & it wasn't worth one cent. It's all in the garbage! That what I think of their food. . Garbage! And that's exactly where it's going, in the garbage! I wasted $33 & NEVER again, NEVER!

I ordered chicken over rice because they were promoting it as if it was halal food. When I got it, for one they didn’t give me the extra white sauce I asked for, and for two the white sauce was a mixture of like a ranch flavor; but blue cheese thickness consistency. Then the chicken was literally grilled chicken breast chopped and dryer than the Sahara desert, with no taste of eastern spices. The rice was literally bland boiled white rice with no type of flavoring at all! I’m sorry but this place has to go down as worst food I’ve eaten in a very long time. I took two bites and threw the rest to my dogs, they enjoyed it though so good job making my dogs happy. So Thanks for the service but I will no longer be spending my money here.
