Sonic Fort Stockton Reviews
Issue with my order (chicken sandwich was missing the chicken part and my Premium Burrito was looking pretty standard as it was also missing everything except the sausage and egg). I rang the staff and asked for someone and they sent the GM out. I didn’t get his name but he was fantastic and got us straightened out very quickly and even had a laugh about it. As far as Sonic food goes I was satisfied with our order. The 5 stars is for the GM who was extremely professional and friendly. Mistakes happen but it’s how they are dealt with that matters.
Nowadays I don't stop myself to write a review as often as I used to and I can't remember the last time that I actually did I just felt compelled to have to and I guess if something has sparked that desire for me to write a review then it had to be something amazing or downright awful I'm grateful to say that it was the latter by far the best experience I've ever had at a Sonic drive-in restaurant that's to say the least the employees there have something instilled in them by what must be there the guy who runs the place which I had a chance to see I guess a bit of it in action as he arrived when I was waiting for my order while I was waiting for my order there was an employee that was concerned about the appearance of the building because there was like a sticker stuck on the wall which impressed the heck out of me to see an employee that dedicated to the obligation of the way the building appearance looks to the customer was beyond me. I heard the employees kind of cheering for the guy who runs the place as he walked in the door you already knew by the way he walked in that you know he obviously was the boss or whoever he is I just hope he knows that he's doing an amazing job with his employees and everybody should follow his business model because these kids are young women and men are eager to be there and they couldn't be happier to serve their customers like wow I was absolutely impressed and a profound sense of Hope has ignited just by the way that those employees behaved and ran that place as if he was there when he wasn't so two thumbs way way up you guys keep up the good work and know that your hard work and your dedication obviously does not go unnoticed because these reviews do get read by everybody so keep up the good work and know that that mentality and that attitude is going to get you places if it hasn't already.. and I hope that the dude who did walk in there who is obviously the boss or something does use this opportunity to kind of stir up something in the employees and it would be awesome if he walked in there after he read this and told him like man you guys should see the horrible reviews somebody left because if this isn't like one of my most like heartfelt reviews I don't know which one is because you guys did a hell of a job I did was order some french toast sticks and a cheeseburger like thank you guys
Traveling across the state of Texas and arrived late into Fort Stockton. It was almost midnight, and Sonic was still open. Ordered a footlong american hot dog with a large tater tot, double cheese smashburger combo with chili cheese tots, and a footlong Coney dog combo with French fries. Ordered at the drive up screen but ended up sitting outside at the outdoor eating area. Everything was hot, fresh, crispy, and made correctly. The only complaint was that the order did take a bit longer than expected. Overall, it was a wonderful experience after a long day of traveling.
Great food and service. It was pretty busy at a touch slow but really not bad. Good location to grab and continue the trek on I-10.
The New Sonic here in Fort Stockton, Texas, has an entirely upbeat approach to the quality menu and customer service... And I really look forward to my next installment of their amazing Pickle Fries!!
Okay, this very particular Sonic is very refreshing! It’s a breath of fresh air. It is so cute. So easy on the eyes that I just have to stop and check it out. Also the food there tastes even better than I had expected. Great food, service, and just over all I’m very pleased. Highly recommend!
We stopped here at 6:45 on a Friday. After hours on the road, we were desperate for a some reprieve for our grumbling bellies. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food came out. Chris was polite, friendly, and efficient on the intercom. Tots were crisped to perfection and Burgers were as scrumptious as they were beautiful. 10/10, Would come again. This Sonic location has the best service I’ve ever seen.
We were told to wait... when they took our order, it did come out pretty quickly. The car hope was just mater of fact... mostly all our visits, they r really friendly, and offer extra condiments... Had a burger and coney meal the burger and coney was great! The fries on both were old and rubbery. Still like Sonic, but we have received better service and fries
Came here on our way back home. Always seems to be a good stop. The service was good. They are as professional as can be. Polite and courteous. The food was good., nice and hot. We got what we ordered. The kids ate all their food plus some. It seems to still be a popular spot for the ‘cool kids’.. but glad we came., look forward to our next visit. Thank you.
Food tasted fine..service was lacking however. I ordered online. When I received my food, I double checked before I left. Good thing I did. They had left out one item so I asked the person who brought it to me about it. "Oh yeah, we are out of soft pretzels." ::: So we don't let the person know and just let them leave to find put later?:::: He asks if we'd like more mozzarella sticks or fries...my granddaughter didn't. "Can ypu just give me a refund?" "No, you have to do it online since you ordered it there" "I don't know how to do that, can you help?" "No, I'm not sure how to" Me: ???? "Can I speak to your manager?" ""I am the manager" :::Not sure i believe that:::: So I ended up with extra mozzarella sticks i didn't want. Really not happy.
First time at Sonic and the food was good and service was quick.
For was delicious, it was a garlic burger. Service was slow, but they got everything right the first time. 😁😁😁
Servers are great. Milkshakes are great. Food is not prepared well. Every thing is overcooked. Onion rings tasted like they were cooked in very old grease. Hamburger buns soggy. Very short on staff. Definitely need better manager.
Went to order food, the female who took my order couldn't figure out how to properly add my food to the order, then cut me off and ended our order half way through before we finished ordering. I pressed the button again to tell her we weren't finished ordering, and she acted like she couldnt hear us and ended the order a second time. Drove off immidiately after that because while I normally have alot of patience and respect for fast food employees, this girl was rude and incompitent.
Food came out 15 min late while waiting in the mobile pick up. Turns out they had somebody inside the building who doesn’t even work there just with talking and playing with the girls inside. He was parked in one of the mobile stalls, but was inside playing around. Ridiculous.
Should have listened to the other reviews. CHECK YOUR ORDER before you leave. I made an order on the app, thinking that it would be easy to follow. And I was wrong. The burger wasn't ever close to what I actually wanted.
Went at lunch time one o'clock, ordered just three burgers took a long time the girl wasn't sure who the order belonged too, all burgers were ice cold
Don't bother putting an order on door dash Got the order wrong 3× and the dashers don't bother to look at the receipts. They can only offer you a refund, no replacement. Just go there in person. Waste of money from this place.
This was by far the worst dining experience either my wife or I have ever experienced. Context: On day two of a 20 hour road trip we decided to stop somewhere for a quick bite where we could also get a treat for our two little boys and then jump back on the freeway. Experience: When ordering, we tried to get a plain hot dog, but were told that we could only order it from the app. Weird, but not insurmountable. Our toddler is pretty good at pulling the breading off of a corn dog. When we finished ordering the young man didn't say anything. He just disappeared and the total appeared on the screen and we paid. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. And got out to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was dirtier than a sailor's mouth. But when your kid is newly potty trained, you don't have the luxury of waiting for the next bathroom. Then we went back to the car and waited some more. Receipt is time stamped at 1:30 and we didn't get our food until 2:04. Carhop walked out and didn't say a word to us. Handed us our shakes and drinks, a bag of food, and disappeared. (I'm sure that she wasn't having a good day because we probably weren't the only unhappy customers.) She didn't even respond when my wife thanked her and said "have a nice day." Food: I've attached a picture of our receipt and will go down the list. Crispy chicken sandwich was cold, soggy, burned bun, and had tomatoes on it. Med. Onion rings were cold and soggy. One was even raw on one side and burned on the other. Wouldn't have been much of an issue if they were fresh though. Med. Dr. Pepper never made it to the car, but we weren't about to turn around for it. 2 Corn Dogs came out alright. Usually they are hotter and our boys have to wait for them to cool down, but this time they were able to eat them right away. This was a positive for us since they had already been waiting for over 30 minutes after we told them they were going to get a corn dog. Raspberry slush was pink water with a thin layer of ice shavings on top. My toddler didn't even want it and it's supposed to be frozen sugar water... That speaks for itself. Vanilla slush was also disgusting. Very little flavoring and we're not entirely sure that it was even vanilla. It was also light on slush and our oldest was dissatisfied, not even finishing it. Chocolate shake with banana and peanut butter. This was almost right. They put in hot fudge instead of chocolate which was fine by me, but it was also soup by the time they brought it out. So now I had a sugary drink with the occasional chunk of banana instead of a thick, ice cream shake. Hot fudge shake with peanut butter was actually just a peanut butter shake without any chocolate. But it was the only thing in our entire order that was fresh. So of the $22.83 we spent on food, we enjoyed $2.98 of it. Needless to say, this particular location has been blacklisted for our future road trips. The thing that has me the most puzzled is that we waited for over 30 minutes to get our food and hot food was cold and frozen food was melted. How long was it just sitting in there? What is going on in the kitchen that they can't complete an order at the same time? I don't know if they were short-staffed or whether they just need some more training, but there are obviously some management issues here, not just food quality. It makes me wonder whether Sonic should consider pulling the franchise rights.
