DQ Grill & Chill Frankston Reviews
Awesome! Staff was very nice and the food was hot and fresh and the blizzards were awesome and not overly bended. When we where there it was quietly busy and clean. Definitely a good place to stop in to!
Loved it. Hadn't been here for a long time
Busy location with long lines, but it’s worth the wait. 100x better than the Fife location. Good customer service & they give you a good amount of toppings in the blizzards.
Great menu. New Blizzard flavor: New York Cheesecake w/strawberries. Also, Funnel Cakes w/strawberries and ice cream! Easy to access from main drag through Milton. Next to strip mall that includes Safeway.
for 10 bucks a hamburger, fries, fountain drink and a medium blizzard (ice) is unbeatable guys
Excellent, smiling, sincere service and great ice cream. We had an enjoyable Drive-Thru at Dairy Queen, and a great first sunset of October driving home, listening to music and eating ice cream.
I got a reeses peanut butter brownie blizzard. One of the best things ive had in a long time. Wouldn't recommend their food but the ice cream is life changing.
Very friendly. Gave us an extra sundae. Very clean and nice bathrooms. Not too crowded.
Our son bought a house in Edgewood and we were helping him remodel it. Sweaty and dirty we stopped into Dairy Queen one day to grab lunch. Had a GREAT experience and have been back several times. The food was good and not overly salty or overly frozen tasting and the people working were fun and happy and very nice. I had a cherry slushy and it was like a cherry flavor from my childhood (ages ago). Fun time, nice and fun people and decent food. We have been back several times.
Great location. I have been patron to this DQ over 15 years and seen it go through many owners; each one better than the last. Friendly employees and a clean environment. Great family friendly spot. Ask for Ronda for the best service, she has been there since 1998 and one of the main reasons I have regularly gone there all these years. Great Location. I would suggest to everyone.
Whenever my children earn a daddy/daughter or father/son special treat, they want ice cream from Dairy Queen. My daughter, 8, loves to get an ice cream cone dipped for a hard shell of chocolate. My son, 5, wanted a Sundae. The staff was courteous. There was no excessive wait. They brought our treats out to our table. The treats were as good as expected.
I've never really been a fan of dairy queen, but the people, staff and environment at this location was a sight to be seen! A special thanks to Amara who did it outstanding job of making everyone feel welcome and safe
I didn't wear a gown but the cheeseburger was magical. I get one like three times a year so its an event. Skip the fries and just get a burger and a Sunday. Go on.
Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. I had my service dog with me, and they were very helpful and friendly. The food was reasonably priced. They even gave me a small cup so I could give my dog some water. I ordered onion rings and a kids' meal with chicken tenders and fries. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty.
The food was good and hot when we received it. Service was good. The Staff was very nice and friendly. They don't have the Steak finger basket , taco's and some other foods that we have here in Texas. But it was a nice place and we will visit it again when we are in the area again
I went to DQ for my usual Oreo Blizzard. Once I saw the monthly Blizzard flavor is animal cookie,I was excited! I asked the young man if it was good, and he was honest yet, helpful. Told me he hadn't but it was very very popular. He wasn't wrong. It's really good. Their customer service in Milton is always great! Always fast yet patient, and super friendly. Thanks y'all!
They need more staff, yet they still work hard and get the orders right and well made. I only took a star off because some employees have been a bit rude through the speaker, I get it, it’s a fast paced job but there’s room for improvement there.
Love this DQ... been going here for eons. Food & ice cream is always delicious. They do need to remodel their drive-thru, though - they need at least one more lane and a way to exit the line in case of emergency.
Bacon cheeseburger was quite good. I really liked the slice of tomato and onion. Fries were, well, fries. Nothing special, but not too bad. I liked that the ketchup came in a bottle and not those hard to open packets.
I have had a few orders made incorrectly, but my experience at this Dairy Queen has been mostly satisfactory. I love the cheese curds they are always really good at this DQ.
Dairy Queen Grill & Chill combines the classic Dairy Queen treats with a expanded menu featuring burgers, fries, and other fast-food options. The appeal lies in the variety of frozen treats, including Blizzards and soft-serve ice cream. The addition of grill items offers a broader selection for customers. However, service and quality can vary by location. Dairy Queen is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and iconic desserts, making it a popular choice for those seeking a mix of fast food and sweet treats.
Strawberry sunday was good, cheese curds were good, crispy onion burger was dry even with extra extra pickles. Fries were soggy and limp because I forgot to ask for extra crispy fries.
They're one of the slowest fast food restaurants I know. But the staff are nice. And they actually have BBQ chicken strips.
Great customer service, food was kind of pricey but tasty. They were out of the item I wanted but that happens. Overall pleasant experience.
When they got our order wrong I don’t know who but a girl with many face piercings and teal highlights when we went up to her to inform her that our order was wrong she said no it wasn’t and apparently on the receipt they put something we didn’t order and we tried to explain we didn’t order that but she didn’t care at all and just told the other people to come up and order on another note she was talking to us like we were toddlers/babies and she was treating us like we didn’t know what we were talking about Dairy Queen get your employees in check
No ice ....over cooked Burger the fries were burnt ish The chili dog was black didn't taste very good yeah I've been a way better way better dairy queens
As always the desserts are top notch but the food always tends to disappoint. Sloppy assembly and soggy bread. Fries are a footnote that can be forgotten. I'd rather just have the desserts than the food next time.
The wait is just like any other DQ I've been too whether it's at the drive thru or ordering inside... Always long even when I only order a small item such as a blizzard.
If you want to have a quick and tasty ice cream treat then indulge. If you want a good burger or chicken basket? Look elsewhere. It is fast food, so I understand speed and overall convenience is their goal, but it severely hinders quality.
Love myself DQ. I go here often despite the long lines. Regardless of time it's always very busy. They try really hard I think. The food is consistent but the employee turnover is really high. Makes me wonder about management.
The drive through is always great. Going in is a different story. Last time we went in we had to leave before finishing out meal because of an employee that smelled like they bathed in cigarettes. The while restaurant stank!
I had the turkey blt it was the worst sandwich I've ever had. All bread and if there was an ounce of meat I truly would be surprised. The bacon was precooked and limp. My husband said his burger was good though.
My friend got a regular chicken strip and when we got the food we had TWO BBQ chicken strips when we only order one. When we went to tell the employee (I don't know her name but she had teal highlights at the ends if her hair) she talked to us like we were toddlers(we're not to be clear). And after telling her they got the order wrong, she didn't do anything about it and just told the people behind us to come up. Tell your employees to at least be nicer.
This location is hit or miss and I can attest that it is not the cleanliest of locations. Speaking from experience, don't trust the cocoa fudge in this store as it is often gone moldy without notice for quite some time while still being served to customers unknowingly. Things are often left unchecked and forgotten leading to such issues as this.
Blizzards are never mixed all the way through. Service is speedy, but maybe too speedy if they don’t blend long enough.
I ordered a blizzard, they initially handed me a bag w a burger and fries. When I checked the bag before I drove off and noticed it was wrong I stuck the bag out the window, the girl working there grabbed the bag from me - while I was laughing about the mix up - and handed me (with no cup flip) a blizzard that was melting, I had to freeze it when I got home. Very disappointing experience. Don't think I will be going back to this DQ.
Had 2 cars infront of me in the drive thru, still took about 20 minutes to reach the window. While watching inside, I see 1 employee busting her ass to get our order ready while 3 teen employees sat at the far end of the counter against the wall just jacking their jaws and goofing off.
The second worse cheeze budget (5) I have ever had. It was slathered in mustard (yuk), soaked in ketchup, covered with a little greasy bun. A sure fire way to keep repeat customers away. Jack in the Box has the best buns. A little chopped lettuce would help. Use a modest amount of thousand island it will greatly improve your burgers. GVL
The fries are the smallest container. Burger was a little cold like they just pulled out of fridge. Reminds me why I don't go there. But only place I could find to get something to eat.
FYI, if your going to use bagged lettuce, make sure you wash it before putting it on the sandwich! Un-washed bagged lettuce has an awful taste to it and has ruined my burger 🍔 😡
I’ve lived in area 20+ years. This Dairy Queen makes me sick when I eat their fries and chicken strip basket and fries. This Dairy Queen has always done this. Pay attention to fries they always soggy. I use to always go to fife cause it was the better one but they started same practice lately. I noticed the Safeway near this Dairy Queen their delly chicken strips and some other foods is the same way. When I eat at other Dairy Queen’s and Safeways this does not happen. I mentioned this to my wife and she seem to notice this as well. Can anyone explain this? Are they using their grease over and over again? (If chicken and fries are not golden you’ll know especially if chicken more brown) Are they refrying old food to save a buck? What kind of practices are they using? Oh and to mr. loffler the guy who posted previous review. I noticed that all fast food places in milton are like that. I think it’s the quality of the people. And In the end boils down to management. I remember back in the day you could roll through McDonald’s and ask them to make you some fresh nuggets. Try that now…..
Saw the sign on the drive thru remembering to be grateful to workers but then the lady that took our order was so so rude, she even gave me a mean look when I payed as if I had personally wronged her when all I had done was ordered a Reese’s blizzard. However, a man gave us our ice cream and he seemed friendly.
Drive through 12/8/21 afternoon. Staff were too busy talking to each other about the TV shows they were watching to talk to me. I was not acknowledged verbally at all! Just given my order & closed the window. I realize it is hard to find employees now…but THEY STILL NEED TO OFFER COMMON COURTESY & BE TAUGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Went to the drive through for two of the chicken strip meal deals. Chicken was good. Fries were lukewarm, as well as the gravy, which was slightly coagulating. The blizzards that came with the meal were not mixed well; the top looked good, but vanilla ice cream was unmixed on the bottom. Drive through time was also mediocre. Not sure if they were understaffed or lacking training. I like DQ (Pacific WA), but this one missed the mark.
I asked for not cheese in my burger, and it had no toppings at all, no mayo, no ketchup, nothing..this is the second time this has happened to me here..also the bacon was raw and rubbery
I had them remake my cheeseburger cause it tasted old. Got a new one in like 2 min Did not taste fresh either. Only ate a few bites n chucked it.
Raised all their prices and put a tip jar on the counter. A tip jar for fast food? Delusional.
They need to hire more staff. One person doesn't cut it
Don’t waste your time going inside to skip the drive-thru line. They told me “we’ll be with you as soon as we can” then had me sit and wait for almost 10 minutes before taking my order.
We have been coming to this location for over 15 years and usually have wonderful service. I’ve noticed in the last few months it’s not the same. My son went to pick up lunch 3 weeks ago and said they were very rude. We open the bag and our order was completely wrong. I called to talk to the manager to one, let her know he got rude service and that our order was wrong. She told me she took the order and that she remembers it was correct. She was very rude and when I asked her name she refused to give it to me. Customer service is very big for me and I hate that the last few months have ruined our experience. They definitely need better training. On a positive side, I did go in on July 25th and got a birthday cake and the ladies were very nice. They are the ones we usually see. Sorry for the long rant.
Only reason they get more than 1 star is because the chicken strips are good. The service is so bad I could see my order was #1 and the app said it was ready but I had to wait so long my ice cream melted. Just sit in the drive thru. Ordering on the app means waiting for everyone else in line once you get to the store.
They always say, we are out of chocolate ice cream… how!? For several weeks straight! So when I asked for chocolate syrup (no brainer to make chocolate ice cream) it seemed like I annoyed them…. Just fix your machine!!
SLOWEST MOST INCOMPETENT restaurant drive through i have EVER BEEN TO!! Absolute non sense that ANYTHING could take as long as these people take to make anything. On multiple occasions I have seen up to 4 people standing around doing things that should take a back seat to getting the customers orders done. It doesn't matter if there is 1 car or 10 in the drive through, everyone should be working together on getting the orders out. And every time it is the same ridiculous wait. & most of the time the people in front of me don't even order a lot of stuff. Also, the inside is closed to customers so its not like they have orders coming in from both ends. I couldn't imagine how horrible it would be if they had to deal with the inside customers as well as the drive through. This place needs better management. Never, in all my many years of going to this location, have I been so jaw-droppingly amazed at how this place can be SO CONSISTENTLY SLOW. Even when there are no cars in the drive through, or one car ahead of me, it takes them way longer than it should. And 3 times now lately, I have sat at the order mic for minutes saying "hello?"... "hello?!"... & I finally just have to pull up to the window & order. Funny thing is, every time this has happened, they have no trouble getting right to the person behind me. I know bc I listen to see if maybe their intercom is down or something. But no.. Every time they have instantly popped on there asking to take their order. If you can, avoid this location. I didnt even get to mention the quality of the food/treats when you finally do get your order. For another review another day..
We intended to dine-in, but a terrible smell hit us as soon as we walked in the door. We ordered our treats, and one out of six of us stayed inside & waited while the rest of us retreated to our cars. It smelled like sewage to me, and my niece remarked that it smelled like a porta-potty.
As other people have said, this location's quality has completely gone downhill. The food is almost always stale and old, the bread isn't toasted, and every time recently I've been shorted on my dip. I will be completely avoiding this place from now on and going to McDonalds or Taco Time.
I got a caramel chip Frappuccino and it’s the worst thing I have ever had. The ice was chunky and not blended and it was just a watery drink. Very disappointed.
I ordered a cookie dough blizzard add brownie bits and I got a pecan blizzard...huh?
took 5 minutes to get order placed, then it was wrong, no ketchup & tomato, how hard is that? trying 2 get ahold sumone @ location is a joke, tried 5 times 2 call & left 2 vms trying 2 get sumone 2 call me back n I didn't even get 2 enjoy burger
Multiple times we've been told that Edgemont has contacted DQ that the music program was sending kids & parents to DQ for ice cream & they don't have the dining room open. It's been a tradition since I was in junior high. It brings in a ton of money. Why wouldn't the manager or owners want to make sure they're prepared to serve a large influx of families thar want to spend their money at your establishment?
I have been here 3 times. Why is there so many people working, but the line is always held up for 20 minutes? All they do is laugh and joke, don't forget they mess up your orders 9/10 times. Save your money and go to the fife dairy queen.
Terrible. Asked for no tomatoes on sandwich and got them. Asked for sundaes after we ate, got them with our meal. Fries were cold and "fresh" burger was so cold, the cheese wasn't even melted.
Manager was super rude I excepted another door dash from Dairy Queen while I was waiting for them to prepare the order I was first picking up.. acted like they were super busy… they weren’t….
The service is absolutely awful. I thought it was a staffing shortage until I actually had to pick up an order inside 2 weeks ago. Fully staffed, inside of restaurant resembles a storage facility with no attempt to open lobby.
I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service I received today at this store I don't care to visit again I asked for the chicken basket and specialty asked for them not to put the dipping sauce in the box with my food not sure why I had to which the did it anyway the Manager Tiffany tells me that is the way they are trained and seen nothing with it this is VERY unsanitary she made me feel that I was wrong for feeling that way and told me she didn't have time to speak with me VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and she's the manager also refused to give my her manager name number and told me that person is busy and won't have time to call me back
I’m only giving one star because I can’t give zero. The blizzard is always good but, the staff if very rude. I’m a CUSTOMER not your coworker that being said, you don’t talk to me like I know how to do YOUR job. Very disappointed
Order was incorrect had to wait for new order. Then ordered blizzards that were runny and ended up getting that order mixed up and paid for a small ice cream that barely came over the top of the cone. Clerk in training was given $10.79 for a $6.79 order and that was rang up incorrectly also.
They refuse to have the business fully staffed. Only the drive thru is open with 15 cars inline at all times. Maybe we need a coldstone in Milton.
Just waited in line for over 20 minutes in drive through, only for them to tell us that their card machine went down. When we asked what their options were (like being given coupons for next time or anything for our wasted time since we put our order in and waited patiently) the girl shrugged her shoulders, "sorry, I can't do anything"... Really? The manager on shift can't do anything to compensate for customers who have already placed orders and waited?
Got the $5bucks lunch 3pc w/fries an got a ex small fry. Went back an they just changed the package to try an convince me it was more. The service sucks, Manager on duty should do a better job with customers complaints. A large fry should be a large fry. Not ever going back to that location I felt as if they were being racist. Very Disappointed.
Today was NOT a good day at DQ at the drive through. I placed an order to include 2 Lg Root beers. Only 1 got ordered. I also requested senior discount the cashier indicated she heard me and didn't give me the discount. I also ordered 2 large blizzards. They were put in the carrier and bag they were in along with what I thought were 2 root beers. Along with that went a HOT 6 piece chicken meal in the empty spot where 1 of the root beers was supposed to be in. Well that caused my blizzards to melt and the root beer to get warm, melting some of the ice. When I got home I discovered all of this and was a very upset. I went to take out the blizzards and one of the lids were not on properly and it came off spilling a half melted blizzard fortunately in the bag it was in and not all over the counter... I was not going to go back and get another root beer. Because it wasn't charged. At about 6:30 PM I tried to call the DQ phone number and got a recording saying that they were not available to take my call and to leave a message. Managers: Please talk to your customer service reps and encourage them to pay closer attention to their customers orders and requests... this isn't the first time this has happened. I am sure not the last. But today there was more going on with this order I just couldn't tolerate. Sloppy bagging, forgetting to give senior discount and forgetting to order a drink. YOU NEVER PUT A HOT MEAL IN WITH FROZEN OR COLD DRINKS!!!!
They have the nerve to have a sign that suggests the costumer should be grateful for their employees. Which in some cases is true! But as I was receiving my order through the drive-through. The worker opens up the window itching his nasty looking beard and might I add how sloppy looking his uniform was. Before he could say the total I drove off! But as I was driving off, I noticed another worker walking to his car and he almost matvhex the description of the teller at the drive-through! They both looked as if they didn't care about hygiene at all! Sorry not sorry about telling it how it is... smh
Roommate picked up blizzard for me. Drove 10 minutes and it was 100% liquid. Banana and pecan wouldn't make a liquid in that amount of time. Please check the ice cream temperature..... Or train people to no over blend blizzards with solid ingredients. (I've worked at dairy queen before and have driven further with a more solid blizzard in hotter temperatures.
Extraordinary slow slow and even slower staff! God forbid if you go through the drive-thru you'll sit in line for 20 to 25 minutes before you even get to the window. It's even slower if you go inside of the establishment and order your food from the cashier they are extraordinary the most slowest fast food establishment I've ever been to.
Ordered a Mini Blizzard cake online to pickup at Milton location. Got my email confirmation with price. Went to pick up...and the price was more. I questioned price and they said price went up..(Ordered it two day easrlier) They would not honor price I purchased it for and what my receipt said. I will not order again. They lost my business. Buyers beware.
It took 25 minutes to get our meal. We paid extra for onion rings instead of fries. I got 6 onion rings & my wife got 6. I wanted to complain but my wife said no. I went to the restroom, waited 15 minutes. Tried twice on the door. The 2nd time the door started to open but the person grabbed the door shut & locked it. When he came out he had this smirk. He went back to the employee area & put on a headset. There were 5 employees in the front & 2 cooks. No reason for the poor service & rude behavior. We won't be back.
Specifically requested a fresh off the grill hamburger Patty. What I got was the dried out , Luke warm patty from under the heat lamp….tasteless and disgusting. We also ordered two blizzards for after the meal. I went to the counter after the meal and stood there ignored for five minutes. After acknowledgment I returned to our table waited for over 15 minutes and finally left the place without the blizzards. Awful product plus crummy customer service. We’ll go elsewhere in the future.
Don't waste your time or money at this location. We wanted to grab dinner on the way home and decided to go here. When we got there, the drive thru was extremely busy. It's understandable because of the time but after waiting nearly 25 mins we finally paid and got our food. We got home, we were missing one of my kid's fries and sandwhich. Not to mention they gave us the wrong drink. When I called back I asked to speak to the manager, the woman actually told me that she was the owner. I explained to her what happened and she replied with, we gave you all your food and you can drive back here to get the right drink. I literally had to keep telling her that I would not waste my time calling if I received all my food. She was so rude and when I asked her what her name was so I can do a survey on her, she replied with.. go ahead because the company doesn't care about surveys and they're not going to do anything. I hope that she realizes that as a manager/owner of any business, she is the face of the company and how she treats her customers reflects on her business. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. We all work hard for our money and to spend it at a business that doesn't appreciate their customers' support is not worth my time or my hard earn money.
Food always sucks here. People are friendly but that doesn't make up for the garbage food. Last time I will go here which sucks since it's the closest but I specifically asked for fresh fries off the frier because I knew they'd be rock hard and cold or soggy like always if not and yet that's still what I got even after they said "oh they will be". The chili dog was cold like it had just dethawed.... and not just in the center.... so was thr chili on top.
Recent trip to Dairy Queen for my daughter. She saw a sign in the window for an A1 signature burger. When we tried to order it, we were told they no longer had it, fine. When I asked about the sign in the window a very unfriendly manager/assistant manager said they just never got around to taking it down. Fine. I do not mind that they did not have the burger, or forgot/did not care to take the sign down. But I do dislike being treated with such disrespect and flat out hostility for a polite question. My daughter ordered something else, but was super sad about the fact that she picked this placed solely based on the ad she saw in the window. We will not be back. We will go to other locations, but this one is a hard pass.
This is the worst fast food place I have ever been took me 28 minutes to get a burger with one person in front of me doesn’t know how to ring up the burgers as a single the worst employee staff I’ve ever seen employed in my life I’m not want to usually make comments, but whoever runs this place needs all new management and employment. It should never take 30 minutes to get a burger at a fast food restaurant.
Really expensive New York cheesecake blizzard ended up being just vanilla ice cream with cheesecake pieces. It wasn't good. Not going back to fix because wait in drive thru was 40 minutes
Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went and ordered some small ice cream cups. I asked for no lids please at the very end. First of all you can't hear the people talking and they can't hear you, because the dang speaker is right by the busy street. Anyway, i heard the worker say something about a cone, and I said, "cups please, no lids" she still didn't hear me. I said again, "I just want no lids on the cups please." Then she started basically yelling with an attitude. She said, "yeah I didn't hear you order cups, you weren't talking loud enough. If you wanted cups..." Not today devil. I rolled up my window and drove off. We used to go here all the time. Guess we'll be going to McDonald's instead and pray their ice cream machine is working. Put someone nicer with more patience at your drive thru window. Terrible. Freaking. Service.
Horrible 1st time experience. I was given an Oreo blizzard with No Oreos and got the window slammed in my face because I asked for Oreos. Fries were old and soggy. Definitely won't return
Yeah when you order for something and pay for it you expect to be able to get what you ordered and paid for. I Ordered something specific to be added to my blizzard, and after being in line for 30 minutes, (which is fine they're understaffed they say) I open the lid to find the wrong blizzard and it's completely Frozen solid because they are 30-45 minutes behind on they're online order estimated time to pick up and apparently make it 30 minutes advance instance to get in a freezer (gross), and they don't allow you to pick up in front or inside like every other place. So I just call and ask very politely if a staff member can meet me at the door to make the correct item as sitting in line for 45 more minutes is slightly inconvenient. I'm told that they don't have peanut butter sauce at their location. You don't have peanut butter sauce? I highly doubt that. And if you dont, why is it available to order on your app and pay for?? Anyways, where's dairy Queen I've ever been to. Something so simple can't be figured out
We go through the drive thru and literally every time we get ignored. They say that the large vehicle doesn't alert their beeper. Well, then they need to peek out the window to see if any vehicles are at the drive thru menu. How about a camera with a monitor to see if anyone is back there? Geesh!!!! Use some modern up to date technology!!!!
I love DQ, however this is the worse location I’ve ever been too! I was better off going to McDonalds! The milk was liquid not to mention they didn’t even have the sugar cookie, the food was cold, and the tenders weren’t grease burnt. Absolutely the worst and most depressing Dairy Queen! Can’t believe I wasted 20$ for a very low quality meal. Their food is usually always fresh and hot.
I ordered a cheeseburger and while service was fast, I’m quite sure they microwaved the entire sandwich. Bun and burger tasted awful with that odd texture after being heated up in a microwave. Will not be returning. Staff was your typical gen z or whatever generation were on that has no work ethic or manners.
they gave me the smallest amount of fries and the tiniest tenders, not to mention the lady in the window was being rude had an attitude. This was the $8 meal deal. Also just to add I work at a fast food place as well so this definitely would get me in trouble if I gave this amount to customers. This ruined my day and I hardly want to eat my food now.
Ordered food from here, they stuffed our bags so full that the lid of one the the drinks popped off, and a majority of our food was crushed and all the napkins were stuck to our fries and my sandwich crappy has something brown and sticky all over it… seriously couldn’t have just used multiple bags? I’ve worked fast food too this would not have flown at my store
Soggy fries, toast rubbery, chicken strips broken in peices. That's just the first meal.. this is the worst service and food. We were asked to pull around front to wait for cold food. Will not be going back ever again nor support them. Not even for a blizzard.
Dairy Queen – Milton Location Unfortunately, the quality at this location has really gone downhill over the past several months. Overcooked chicken, undercooked fries, bland and not toasted toast, and now even the dipped cones are barely coated. It’s disappointing. Yes, it’s fast food, but that doesn’t mean customers deserve poorly prepared meals. People are still paying good money and should expect basic quality and consistency. This location needs to step it up and treat its customers better.
The restaurant is filthy. Drive through service is usually a kid that has a attitude.. I can usually live with that but the food was tasting like old grease. The burger was obviously cooked on a filthy grill and the fries were cooked in old grease. I ended up throwing the entire order in the garbage. Change the grease at least once a day and periodically clean the grill. Get it together people you are continually trashing what should be a smooth tasty experience
I bought a 4 police chicken strip basket, upgraded to onion rings.. I called 5 times & left a voicemail because the chicken tasted weird aswell as STALE nobody would answer the phone. I drove BACK up & I was able to get my refund in respectful manner which I appreciated HOWEVER when I pulled up 4 hours later.. they were consistent on taken my order back through the window(which I didn’t touch) but I work as a General manager at a food spot & they took MY hours old order BACK through the window which is illegal.. & I’m obviously not mad about them asking for the food but it was the fact that they cross contaminated through the window. Gross. Just like the quality of the food.
Missed breakfast today due to work and boss buying lunch today. So thought Dairy Queen sounds good. Co-worker told me what he wanted off I went to go pick up our food. 45 mins later finally got to eat. Co-worker ordered chicken strip basket 6 piece large with Candy Cane chill Blizzard got his fries and his drink. I ordered the number 9 with no pickles add flamethrower sauce to the burger; and Flamethrower sauce on the side for the fries. See there I said fries which should have clued the order taker in that I wanted the meal. Well whomever took the order must not know the menu very well. Not just at this location, but several this has happened at. If you take a gander at the picture I included at the very top almost like the small print at the bottom. It says that every combo comes with a drink and fries. I asked for a number 9 the menu says it should come with it and I even asked for sauce on the side for the fries. So I drive back to work with a large blizzard with no lid melting in my drink holder shooting candy cane drips 10 mins back to work. Co-workers order totally right. I open the bag no fries. I hoot and holler at my co-worker my futile frustration of Fast food workers who don't know what a meal is. So I say I'm starving F it I'll just eat my burger. Open it and it's not a Double cheeseburger no pickle with flame thrower but a breaded Chicken Sandwich with lettuce and tomato. So I decide to head back but before I do I figure I could gobble down my chili cheese dog to stave off the hunger pains. Chili looks old and crusty like it's been sitting or reused. Now completely frustrated I went back. Went in and explained everything to the lady behind the counter and she stated she knows it was right cause she was in the kitchen and made it. If that's the case the weak link in the chain seems to be the order taker. The only way to explain it is that the drive through operator put the wrong burger in the bag and gave me a chicken sandwich and someone else a double burger. They also do not know the menu and that combos come with fries and a drink. I think it's just time to give up on the old Dairy Queen. Next time I think Dairy Queen sounds good to eat I'll remember the last few experiences I've had and just say no.
