Chachago Fremont Reviews
first time trying boba here. try the milk tea and brown sugar fresh milk. both tastes great
My go to boba place ever since they opened! My family and I love going here and we always get their creme brulee and mango series! Everything in their menu is super good and worth the price. It’s also super easy to get rewards! They also sell ice cream, snacks, and fresh juice! It’s small inside but people usually just drop and go.
My first yelp review! I tried ChaChaGo at my friend’s birthday party. They ordered ChaChaGo’s drinks and snacks and it was amazing! Popcorn chicken was so good! And the drink was also wonderful! That’s why I came here and tried their drinks. They have a lot of options for drinks and snacks. I ordered the uji Matcha Pearl and they have a very strong matcha taste! I love it! My Friend ordered crème brûlée Matcha smoothie. We never had it before and it tastes good! Will be back soon to try other drinks and snacks!
I went to this place yesterday, and I really would like to share it with everyone. It was such a pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly, and the drink is so far the most surprising one I had in the bay area. I never had a combination of grass jelly, panna cotta,, and crispy and chewy jelly all together. It is very good! I highly recommend it to anyone who is tired of Boba, but also wants something to chew.
Chachagoooooo!!!!! Lets go!!! First time trying this spot out today for Sunday funday! Went around 3pm coming all the way from south San Jose but it was worth it! Exceeded my expectations! It's located it a run down shopping center but don't let that discourage you from checking it out! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! It wasn't too busy and we got our drinks very fast! The drinks we got 1.) B3 and C2! They are both 5/5! You can control your sweetness and ice levels! There's a lot flavor in the tea itself and it's not too sweet! A lot of other boba spots make their drink way too sweet and no tea flavor. But the boba was the star of this drink! I'm usually very picky with my boba and let me tell you this is the one! It's nice and chewy, warm, and flavorful! I wish they had a spot in San Jose! Cheers !
Beautiful cozy Boba shop serving Boba in variet of flavors. I tried C1 Brown sugar Boba with no ice and 50% less sugar and it was just perfect! Loved the soft and chewy Boba and the order came quickly! Definitely trying more flavors next time we visit.
I got the Taiwan No. 1 Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea and was impressed! I like low sweetness (25%) usually and felt it was a little on the sweeter side but I enjoyed it! The boba pearl quality is good - firm and chewy. My partner got Osmanthus Oolong tea with boba and enjoyed the tea flavor.
I enjoyed the egg waffle and milk tea! The egg waffle tastes similar to those I tried in China. Will come back next time if I get a chance!
Tried their Cocoa brown sugar tea with added creme brulee.. and Mongo pomelo smoothie.. it tasted amazing! Easily one of the best bubble tea place in fremont!
This was my first time experience at ChaChaGo, and I am glad that I could visit! My sister was the one who recommended this place and told me that they served boba tea. I tried their white peach with oolong milk bubble tea, it was good! Not too heavy on the sweetness and they had packaged it well for take out. They do have more varieties of boba tea along with some small bites and desserts, which I haven't tried yet. But overall, would love to visit this place again!
Very friendly staff. Drinks are not too sweet. The boba balls are perfect. The popcorn chicken is also really tasty
Honestly the boba shop’s name sounds like Chicago. Anyways, my friend and I decided to go come to this location to get some boba and snacks. When I first got here, there is many people most likely because it’s hot outside right now. I’m surprised that there are many items you can buy from the menu. Literally different names of drinks and food, but you may have to go to one of the kiosks to see what they look like. I literally had a hard time deciding which ones I want and so I had my friend help me out on it. Food and drinks taste as good as other boba places. From the inside, it’s very small and rarely has seats. However, I do like how they added plants and other natural resources to make this place look vibrant and modern. I wish that they added more seats, but the place is too small since people are here lining up and waiting for their orders to be picked up. So then my friend and I stood for a while until like 30 minutes later that many people left. It’s funny how they still have a Grand Opening sign for over a year now just for the restaurant to promote itself. You may see that it is false advertising, but attractive at the same time. Not that it really matters, but this boba shop is a good place to go and I would go here again.
Love their hot Jasmine Green Tea. Perfect for winter weather. So smooth without and well balanced combination of the jasmine and green tea taste. Not bitter not too flowery taste. Creamy taste. The cold creme brulee boba was also good but could use more of the tea flavor. Good portion for the price. The egg waffle was just ok with Oreo flavor slightly better than the regular vanilla.
I took my daughters who are obsessed with Boba these days. It's a cute place in Fremont, recently opened I guess. They both liked their Thai tea and cream brulee boba teas. We opted for no ice ,and still got a bit of ice chunks in the drink, so one minus ⭐. We will be back if in the neighborhood.
I acknowledge that this place is new and probably still figuring things out, so I will come back to edit my review as things change/improve. Location: The location is convenient as it’s central to Fremont in a shopping plaza with plentiful parking. The plaza is not the most lively at the moment but hopefully more restaurants and other businesses will open around here. It is east to bike to but there is not convenient bike parking nearby, but the store window is semi-transparent so you can see your bike from inside. The shop itself is pretty small with minimal seating, so most orders are probably best to-go. Drinks: My friends and I ordered C1 (Taiwan No.1 Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea) and A1 (Assam Black Tea), 50% sugar, and with brown sugar boba. The flavor was overall good but the drinks were a bit watered down, even with 50% ice. The flavor of the boba was good but the texture was a little too soft for our preferences. The prices for the drinks were very reasonable compared to other boba places in the area. Food: We ordered spam musubi and popcorn chicken (no spicy). The popcorn chicken was very good! There was definitely more chicken than batter, it had good crisp, and the flavor was not too salty. I would definitely get the popcorn chicken here again. The spam musubi was okay. We’re not sure if it was the rice, the spam, or the nori, but the musubi had a sort of sour taste. Our hypothesis is maybe they use vinegar in there somewhere (?). It was a miss for us, and I wouldn’t get it again. Service: The workers are friendly and were helpful in trying to answer my questions about the menu. While I waited for my order I did an errand at FedEx and when I came back my order was ready. One of the employees came out to bring my order to me (since I was on my bike), and I really appreciated that! Overall: This place is good and has potential for more! I hope as they get more established and receive constructive feedback they’re able to improve the quality of their food and drinks. I would love to see more businesses come to this otherwise somewhat bland plaza and make central Fremont the place to be, and I think ChaChaGo can be part of that revitalization. Definitely check this local place out and give them your support and feedback!
Small place but friendly service and tasty drinks 👍I suggest try Thai ChaCha Pearl Milk Tea⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Taste is awesome but 50% ice shouldn’t mean half the drink is ice? It means half of the regular ice. Other people with 50% had less ice than this at this location. Also wish the drink came in a large instead of a medium only. Panna cotta was good tho, a bit grainy, but I would eat again. Price is fair for the taste. From what I saw no cash? Bring a card or a phone.
the matcha is so bad. it tastes like matcha with water instead of milk. i ordered 100 sugar and it’s still not sweet???? whhhaaaat whys the matcha so grainy too even after i mixed it. thai teas ok but could be sweeter bc i ordered 100 sugar
My oolong milk tea was so watery and the tea has no aroma at all. The worst boba tea in the neighborhood.
I was told my order would be ready by 2:27. I gave them extra time and went to pick it up after 2:35. When I arrived, the person in charge told me it would be 6 more minutes, so I waited again. Even after that, the order still wasn’t ready. On top of that, the drinks were made incorrectly, and there were not enough straws or picks to properly eat or drink what was ordered. I recommend just ordering in person online orders don’t seem to be a priority for this shop.
