It's now an upgraded, cute-chic Turkish cafe & restaurant—a great find. I have been here once before when it was a Filipino-inspired restaurant. I see that same stuff on the menu as well as some great new options. They have fresh pomegranate juice which I loved! The space feels warm and spacious. Thanks for the revamp, Fremont needs more and more of such cafes.

A wonderful and nostalgic train station cafe that preserves the characteristics of historic train station. A lovely experience. The cafe will focus on Turkish breakfast going forward with the patio redone.

Stopped by today to try their Silog style breakfasts. Ordered the Beef Tapa and Lamb Tocino breakfasts. I've never heard of or tried Lamb Tocino but wow! It was so good. I ordered it to go and ate it at home. It was so good I feel like going back to get another one lol. The couple that owns the restaurant are very nice and the food i tried was excellent. Planning to go back next weekend with some friends!

The chicken shawarma was so tender and flavorful. Took it next level with the added house made vinegar sauce. Owners were so personable with such warm and welcoming hospitality! 10/10 recommend!

Super cute little spot with lots of parking. The waitress was personable and friendly, she gave great service. We ordered longaniza and corned beef, both were really good. It came with the meat, garlic rice and eggs and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to try more items!!

A wonderful local spot that feels nostalgic and full of love. The food is great, fresh, and flavorful. The portions are generous and it’s extremely affordable. The owner is friendly and attentive, just please be patient since she is the only one working (taking orders, clearing tables, cooking, etc).

This is a very nice and convenient cafe to go to at Centerville Train Station. They serve American and Filipino food here. This is actually my second time coming here and noticed that they have Lamb Tocino, which is quite unheard and probably rarely eaten. The wait was long because there are some issues in the kitchen, but I’ll let that slide. The staff are friendly when people got here and are apologetic due to problems at the backend. I also like how the place is decorated trying to match the theme of trains and other transportations. It is small for a dining area, but it’s worth relaxing and coming here.

I thought the Uber driver dropped me off at the wrong place, he didn’t speak English. The coffee shop is inside the station, the lady there, her name is Wendell. She speaks Tagalog, Japanese and of course English. She eventually wants to move to Hawaii, she says that she’s an Island girl. I got a Latte, it was very good. I met an old colleague there that I hadn’t seen in almost twenty years. It was a lovely Fremont weather day, the reason people love it here.

East Bay Café is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The coffee is exceptional—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. Their food menu is just as impressive; everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

This is the platonic ideal of a cafe! When I'm home I put on ambient music from YouTube to try to capture this vibe: jazz playing, rustic decor, relaxing outdoor seating, a pot of tea or a cappuccino cooling. We will definitely be regulars. It's open from early into the morning to late at night. The food is not just continental, but a diverse mix, which is normally a bad sign, but here its the perfect mix: from an exquisite absolutely massive Turkish breakfast representing the owner's culture (with a delicious pot of Indian tea), to hard-to-find Phillipino food, likely the chef's. There's also Afgan food, with kebab's in a far larger serving size than any place around. What a wonderful place to work, go on a date, coffee or breakfast with a friend, or take the family.

Yay Wendell is back!!! Wendell was the previous owner of the Depot Café. She makes a tocino breakfast with garlic rice and eggs that is fantastic and my go-to. I’ve never had a bad meal there and I ate there probably three days a week while she owned it. I was so disappointed when she sold to that other fella and he pretty much destroyed the restaurant with his food…(it was awful). It was not good and he was not very clean. Counters were dirty, stuff like that. The one thing I can say about having Wendell back is the depot café is being run clean again. You can tell that cleanliness is next to godliness when it comes to Wendell because it’s noticeably cleaner. I stopped coming after my last food experience here, and it wasn’t until I noticed Wendell moving back in that I came back. I ride the train every day, so having my favorite restaurant cafe back to its good food, great conversation is the upgrade that this place needed. I am so happy to be able to come back to the Depot café again! Welcome back Wendell! Those of us that ride the train all the time couldn’t be happier about it.

Tried this cafe ☕️ a few weeks ago! A quiet option for your brunch/ coffee times 🤗 We were there only for coffee, but seemed like a nice place to grab a small bite as well. Many people were doing that. Open deck, overlooking the Centerville Station was a fun location to enjoy the coffee. Service was great 👍 despite the wait, staff was supportive and kind. Overall, a great option, if you like charming, old and quiet places. Don’t forget to take a walk around. Hope you enjoy! ❤️

I came here last week for the first time since the change in ownership. I was happy to see some Filipino food items still on the menu but wish there were a larger selection. The staff seem kind, friendly, and helpful. Sometimes the service can be a bit slower with one main person tending to the tables, so if you have a train to catch leave plenty of time to enjoy your meal. The food was delicious. I’ll have to try some of the other items on the menu next time. One thing I did not like was the new tables and chairs. They are white and modern-looking and really don’t suit the rustic and quaint train station atmosphere. I hope it’s not a signal that they’re going for a modernized look overall because the older wooden furniture and the other old-timey decorations really give this place a lot of charm and appeal, making it not just a restaurant but an experience.

Kind people and delightfully strange atmosphere. However, I tried the breakfast burrito. It's just pure grease. On top of bacon, cheese, and eggs it has some kind of creamy sauce. I think it's mayonnaise, and a ton of it. Why would you do that? Where did they get the idea to put mayo or whatever that is in a breakfast burrito? Are you trying to kill people? I just had it and I'm feeling Ill. So gross. I'm sure the rest of the food is great, just not the burrito.
