The highly recommended 招牌牛肉面Signature Beef Stew Noodles are truly delicious! I loved this. With incredibly tender beef chunks, the soup was full of flavor and not too oily. The broth is quite beefy and hearty. Even ordering it non-spicy was great, but I appreciated the waitress letting us know their spice levels are stronger than others. For noodles, I got the rice noodles! So chewy in texture. So good! They are generous with their portions and everything tasted fresh. I'll definitely be back!

The most welcoming restaurant! Friend and I went in for some soup on a cold night, we were greeted very kindly, and offered purse hooks. We felt so seen and comfortable! We ordered with the scanner on the table, dumpling soup and chicken noodle [v typical, but we have soft tummy so we wanted to tip toe in] and the flavor was amazing ! The broth is tasty and the noodles were perfection. We had the kindest waitress and the bathroom smelt so clean ! 10/10!

We went looking for a beef noodle place and came across Julie’s. Really enjoyed the texture and taste of the noodles. Can be quite spicy, so just be aware.

Nothing to complain here... First, the staff are super friendly and explain different options enthusiastically. Then, the food is simply amazing. Noodle is al dente, broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is tender. The best part is that it won't leave the unpleasant mouth driness due to MSG. Is it authentic? Maybe not to Szechuan or Chongqing standard, but definitely delicious noodle to recommend.

This bowl of suan la fen is honestly the best I’ve had in the Bay Area! The flavor is the closest to the authentic Chongqing style—perfectly spicy, tangy, and not greasy at all. And the portion is huge — I was already full and still had so much left. Took the rest home to enjoy later!

I would die for Julie and her noodles. As a huge soup fan, the mala beef brisket soup is one of the best I have ever had in my entire life. My friends and I come very far to be able to visit this hidden gem 🙏

I absolutely loved the noodles at this place! The flavor was incredibly delicious and aromatic, with just the right amount of spice. What made the experience even better was the option to choose different types of noodles and customize the firmness (soft or chewy) to my preference. The service was also excellent—friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

Great taste! The waitress lady was very welcoming and attentive on my needs and how I liked the flavor knowing I'm the new customer, definitely escalated the whole dining experience. I personally feel this is one of the best Chongqing style noodles I have tasted in Bay Area. Maybe one advice is the meat portion could be more, I saw other customer left the same review too. Overall, wonderful food and services!

Took my family to celebrate our anniversary of 20 years to try out Julie's Noodle and it was best decision we made. We have ate our fair share of Szechuan spicy noodles in Northern California and we are blessed to have discover this gem. It took us almost 2 hours to drive to try out this restaurant and was not disappointed at all. Food was so delicious, we ordered 2 more noodle dishes to go. We even saved the broth for dinner. I highly recommend trying the beef specialty dish, what was even better is that you can add other meats or sides to the soups.

Was debating on getting a burger or some Chongqing noodles. Pick the noodles and go support the local business. No ragrets.

Incredible street food noodles in a casual, hidden spot. I wish I could speak the language so I could tell management how incredible their recipes are! Been trying to find a place that serves the Sichuan and Chóngqing flavor profile, and this spot hits the spot. Think I'll be a regular here for a while 🍜

If you're not a fan of extremely spicy and mouth-numbing food, it's best to set aside your ego and choose a milder option. The spice levels here are higher than at many other restaurants. The food was served quickly and was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and even checked to see if the medium-level mala was too spicy for me. The restaurant is small but clean and tidy.

Vegetarian options available. Spicy Noodles, braised beef, spicy wonton and much more. This was delicious 😋 exactly what I needed and more. As far as spice, medium (3) satisfies and spicy (4) was just enough not to add any extra 😉 I would recommend this place if you are looking to try something new or if you are having a noodle craving. Bring your own bib 🤤

I ordered the Signature Braised Beef Noodles online and went pick it up. It is really testful and a good amount of noodles. The packaging is also very nice. It's the beef noodle soup I would not hesitate to order again if I want for a good beef noodle soup.

The pork and pea dry noodles were so good. The perfect level of spice without sacrificing flavor! The noodles were perfectly cooked as well. Plus, our server Nicki, was so nice! Would absolutely make this a regular place to visit.

Got a take out order from this place during lunch hour rush. The order was done by phone, the staff was friendly and patient as she placed my order. Upon arrival to my pickup, I was informed that the braised egg was not available so she took it out of my order. Well packed noodles and soup separately!!! The portion of the noodles was great!!! Beef texture was just perfect, melted in your mouth. So juicy and flavorful!!! Tender and tasty! The numbing spice was mild but got a nice kick to it! Lots of cilantro and scallions which I love!! I think overall, the flavor and portion both exceeded my expectations! This is my first visit and will definitely would got back to try some more food!!! The restaurant looks cozy with lots of little 4 seaters tables. Location wise, it's hidden in the back of left side of the plaza.

We were there for a late lunch. Perhaps it was around late afternoon, there weren’t too many people inside the restaurant. There were a lot of parking spots around the plaza. We ordered the Signature Braised Beef Noodles, Cold Chicken in Spicy Sauce, and Cucumber Salad. The portions were very generous and all dishes were very tasty.

We ordered 3 different dishes and they were pretty good. But one of the waitresses was very unfriendly to kids. My 1-year old daughter spilled the plastic water cup they provided. The waitress who came to clean up asked : it has a top. Why would the water spill out ? I said : it fell to the table from her hand by accident . She looked at my daughter and said : you are naughty. We felt so sorry for causing such a mess. But her words made me speechless right away.

Wonton with chicken broth: Wonton didn’t really taste fresh. The soup tasted kinda like water. Not a lot of flavor. Noodles with rib (forgot name): Not a lot of meat. They put a lot of noodles to make up for it. Soup was very oily. Beef stew with noodles: Also not a lot of meat. Soup very oily. On the bottom is all noodles. They put all the garnish and meat on top. Their lemon water wasn’t also the best. Tasted like it was sitting out for a while and the water tasted like bad tap water. The place wasn’t very clean. There were stains on the wall next to the table. Atmosphere was just meh. Place looks pretty run down. Service was okay. The lady was nice. Overall not bad, just wouldn’t come here again. Total was $57.
