The food was excellent and the portion sizes were more than generous, though it was a bit pricey. I'd gotten the Pork Hot Stone Bowl Bibimbap and it was probably the best I've had. The service was really good too, fast and polite. The restaurant itself has good ambiance and is very clean. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Such a hidden place. I drove past it maybe over a dozen times. Finally made it here to try the food. I was pleasantly surprised how good everything was. Service was excellent and they explained everything we had questions about. Food came out before we knew it and it was delicious. This is definitely a place to try if you need your Korean bbq food fix.

I regret not discovering this gem earlier! Tucked away in an unassuming corner of a larger grocery store plaza, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant proved to be a delightful find. Its unpretentious ambiance and genuine feel were matched by the quality of its food. Our servers promptly seated us and graciously accommodated our indecisiveness as my companions and I struggled to finalize our order. Eventually, we settled on the vegetable pancake, galbi, and japchae. The vegetable pancake was a savory delight, pleasantly surprising us with its lack of greasiness and its satisfyingly filling nature. The galbi arrived sizzling on a hot plate, and the generous portion was ample to satisfy our group. As for the japchae, it exceeded expectations--it was perhaps the best I've ever had! Clearly freshly prepared, it boasted a delightful freshness and lacked any hint of staleness. The noodles were tender, coated in flavorful oil and sauce. Unlike most japchaes, which often carry a leftover noodle taste, Miga's rendition was refreshingly absent of any such flavor. I certainly intend to order the japchae again and look forward to sampling the other meats and pancakes on future visits. Overall, I am eagerly anticipating my next visit. I noticed they offer cold noodles during the summer, so I plan to return to try those out!

Perfect Korean restaurant! Homey, friendly, laid back. Fast service, generous portions. Delicious and bountiful bonus side dishes. Lots of unusual authentic Korean dishes like black goat. Our new favorite Korean place!

The food here was amazing, but the service here was outstanding! Kai had such a good demeanor while serving us, and treated us so warmly. We got Spicy Bulgogi with Kimchi Fried Rice and Fish Cakes as an appetizer, and the overall quality was great! Only feedback- maybe have some desserts! I know that’s not a staple, but would be nice to have some items.

Very nice place. All associates here are Korean and very friendly. It could be a little busy during weekdays. The tofu soup is the best in the area, super fresh and tender. Kalbi and BBQ beef is always the go to choice too.

We came an hour before they closed for lunch. Excellent service. Loved their banchan and food. The beef dumpling soup had super silky tofu. They're sweet to bring another round of banchan as they're wrapping up lunch service.

Recently visited a friend and she brought me here and the food was AMAZING. Both servers that helped us were friendly and attentive but also give you space to just enjoy your meal. We both had a different hot stone bibimbab and the side dishes were all excellent as well. The pricing is good too, considering how much food you get and the quality of it. I was still thinking about their food on my flight home and am bummed I can't get the same out here. Highly recommend to anyone in the mood for Korean food.

My girlfriend and I recently went to Miga Korean Restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly, and water/side dishes (think Kimchi) were also served quickly. It took a while for our main dishes to be served, but when they came, they were bubbling hot!!!

Omg...today was my second time ordering Spicy Rice Cakes...(Tteokbokki) here...wow wow wow...I could eat it every day. Soooo delicious, generous portion too. ..very nice friendly staff. My new favorite Korean joint ❤

Having gone to eat here for 10 years, this may very well be my top 5 restaurants, and definitely the best korean spot thus far in the surrounding cities. While expensive, the banchan is great and the meat and ingredients are high quality. I've tried a good portion of their menu but still have yet to tackle all of the soups. My family highly enjoys their pork bulgogi, galbi, and seafood pancake. My friends often get tteokbeokki or rabeokki.

Servers are friendly and food comes out fresh and hot. My favorite place to get spicy pork bulgogi. The meat is tender while being sweet and spicy. It's been one of my family's go-to places for years now.

This is the easiest 5-star review I've ever given any restaurant. The service was excellent, all of the staff were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. The food was perfect. Banchan came out just before our soups and the kimchi was the best I've ever had. I can highly recommend both the chicken and tofu soup and the beef dumpling and tofu soup.

This is the best tofu soup in the area in my honest opinion; I could even call it the best one I’ve had in the states. The soup had a strongest and richest flavor among other Korean tofu houses, and I guessed it came from their soup base (sauce). The ingredients in our soups were A LOT! Highly recommend this one!

We came here to celebrate Valentine's day and it was amazing! We love spicy foods and this place did not disappoint. I loved the seafood hotpot. The wait times were reasonable and the staff handled rush hour really well! *2nd time here! Today we're trying spicy beef thick noodles and fried squids with vegetables. The noodle soup is very tasty! Squid 🦑 is fresh and yummy. If you love spicy food, you will not regret coming here! 👍

We went on a Sunday night, it was around 7:45pm when people had already dined and were leaving. We were immediately seated and greeted by their friendly staff! They have those little side dishes called bon chan and my favorite was the marinated potato. The bus boy was so good, kept checking in on us and super kind! I would totally go back. Service was excellent, food was pretty good and restaurant atmosphere is good for casual dining.

Loved the vegetarian options. There aren't many of them, I probably tried them all and you need to inform the waiter if you're vegetarian so that they avoid the fish in everything. I loved the rabokki (rice cake ramen) with medium spice, very flavorful and spicy and was my favourite item. I also loved the vegetable pancake, crispy and tasty. I liked the tofu bibimbap too. I liked the soft tofu soup as well but the egg did not cook in the soup like they had mentioned so I don't recommend getting the egg. The portion sizes are good for sharing and each dish is probably good for one person.

Best tofu soup and hot stone bowl bibimbab I’ve had in the Bay Area. We ordered the assorted soft tofu soup, the tofu was soft and there was a decent amount of meat in the soup. We love the hot stone bowl bibimbab, we had the spicy pork one, it was moderately spicy and we especially love how crispy the rice was. We also ordered Galbi, which was also right on spot. Would definitely recommend to friends and visit it again.

Located at the corner of the plaza. Parking in front of the store might be a lil hard, but theres plenty of parking in the back or the side Overall the food was pretty good, i got the seafood noodle and it was solid flavor. Their seafood pancake and other dishes were also pretty good, some ppl really enjoyed the cold noodles Side dishes were solid and enjoyable. Definitely would check it out as theres not that many Korean places in Fremont

A favorite Korean restaurant with the family. Portions are good, taste and flavor always fresh, authentic and consistent. They are getting much busier lately and that has caused food to come out slower. We don't mind the wait too much, but you should expect it. Pros: lots of choices on the menu; staff is busy but quick to respond; lots of free parking; side dishes are great and they have fried fish; Cons; restaurant is small with minimal tables; walls and ceiling could use a cleaning; lack of help on busy days means more tables not cleaned and wait time for a table is longer; they close on Sundays

Hidden Korean restaurant that's around the corner from a Mega Mart Korean Supermarket. Very rare do you find Korean black goat stew on the menu, though low and behold, I found it here! Totally delicious and very sharable between a group of friends! I'm definitely returning soon!

The bibimbap hot stone pot selections were unique and tasty. The staple galbi was surprisely dry and plain. The tofu bowls were standard fare and fine. All dishes were overpriced, even given the pricier nature of most Korean restaurants. Will give the benefit of the doubt with a four star rating for food, however.

Food: one word, AMAZING. From banchan to tofu soup, everything tasted like I had in Korea. The flavors are spot on and portion is good. Their bibimpap is highly recommended! Service: one of the warmest I’ve had in Bay Area for sure. The guy was very welcoming, attentive and helpful! Makes the overall dining experience better. Ambiance: I love how the name of the restaurant and “delicious” in Korean is corresponded. Overall it’s casual but I hope the kitchen vacuum is better so we don’t get too stuffed by the smell.

Small place with limited seating located on the side of a strip mall. The rice in stone pot is recommended for it produced crispy rice at the bottom. The rest of the menu is just ok. The size of the tofu soap is small, just for a single person.

Went here for dinner and got the pan fried vegetable pancake and rabokki. These were both $20 appetizers but they told us that they wouldn’t serve us banchan (sides) because we only ordered appetizers, which I thought was a little ridiculous. The food also took a very long time to arrive. When it finally did arrive though, it was pretty good. Overall it was a fine experience but not sure if I’m excited about going back.

I used to love this place for its food, but today was a real disappointment. I called ahead to order takeout and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up on time, only to be told to wait another 10 minutes. After waiting patiently and checking again, they said it would take up to another 10 minutes. That’s nearly 50 minutes total — if that’s the case, just be honest upfront! What really upset me was the way the shorter waiter responded when I explained that my kids were crying in the car and I couldn’t wait longer. Instead of showing any empathy, he snapped back and said, “Do you expect me to take care of your kids?” — seriously?! What a rude and unprofessional thing to say to a paying customer. Good food can’t make up for bad service. If you can’t handle takeout during busy hours, at least manage expectations better. And train your staff to treat customers with basic respect.

The restaurant was basically a smoke shower. The smoke will haunt you for hours like the ghost of your dog. DO NOT come if you dress up with makeup for a date. Your compatriots will be asking why you smell like charcoal and bbq. We got the lunch special galbi and lunch bulgogi + beef soon dubu combo(+galbi). The price is absolutely ridiculous for the tiny serving. The amount of beef galbi and a small bowl of soon tofu soup cost nearly $37.99. $37.99 $37.99 $37.99.. The soup might as well have been derived from gold and diamonds. Service was slow. Waiters didn’t give a damn about other customers who weren’t Korean. Small serving, bad service, horrible pricing. Telling your friends and future great-grandkids to never coming back again.

Restaurant smelled really heavily of bleach. We got the chicken teriyaki + soon dubu (순두부) combo, spicy pork bulgogi + soon dubu combo and the seafood pancake. The chicken teriyaki was too salty. The spicy pork bulgogi was good. The soups were okay too. Seafood pancake honestly didn’t really taste like much, not a lot of flavor. For the price, I expected more. As someone who came from Korea, I can’t believe the price they are charging for this small amount. Small handful of chicken and a small bowl of soup cost nearly $30. Atmosphere was okay. Service was okay. There was one part when a fly landed in my rice bowl and the waitress was just staring at it.. lol. For the price of just these 3 orders, it’s not worth it in my opinion. The cost was $84.
