Amir's Shish Kabob Fresno Reviews
Delicious food and great service! Everything was extremely fresh and perfectly spiced! Will definitely be back when we are in Fresno again
Absolutely wonderful place to eat! The owner is a very kind person, the food is great! Generous portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommend the Curry chicken, hummus with fresh and fried pita. The baba ghanoush is extraordinary! Everything is fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend Amir's!
Came here looking for takeout just before lunch ended. It was a quiet place, but I got to meet Amir. He was able to make me a garlic chicken kabob plate in a few minutes. I ordered a Diet Pepsi to go and he gave that to me while I waited. All the plates come with rice, a salad and pita bread. It was delicious and I'm glad I'm stopped in!
I got the Beef Gyro and a salad. So delicious! The meat had the perfect about of seasoning! Amir, the owner, is so friendly! He give the best service! You have a choice to sit indoors or outdoors. Give this place a try next time you're in the area and in the mood for good food!
First time finding this somewhat hidden gem. Spicy Chicken was amazing! Heat medium was perfect for me. Will be back. Soon!! Dined on the patio... Nice fountain and relaxing..
Spicy chicken kabob and pilaf is awesome. The food is very good, service is solid- Amir is genuine in his approach with customers. Give it a try, eat in, take out, or large groups with whole or half trays.
Really beautiful place and the food was delicious! You got to try the steak! The restaurant is super clean and the owner had top notch customer service to give us the best customer experience.
Very tasty, original mediterranean and middle eastern dishes. The service is excellent and the owner, Amir, is a great guy. Repeat visits are a must.
The owner was very friendly and his service was great. Our food came out fast and was bursting with tons of flavor.

Amazing food, great prices, friendly staff. We love coming here! Everything is fresh, home made tasting, great flavor. Favorites are the chicken kebob and the spicy chicken plate. Can't wait to be back again.
Seeking amazing food and a welcoming environment? Come to Amir’s ! Not to mention the cutesy scenery outdoors as wellll. Came in and was welcomed in by the owner himself. Super polite and respectful man he is. Amazing service and food! Great food portions as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 100% returning back and would recommend!
From the moment we walked in, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The service was excellent — attentive without being overwhelming — and the food was truly outstanding. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place!
I would give them a ten if it was possible. Have enjoyed lunch and dinner here on several occasions, and it’s always consistent and good. When I had heart surgery, they prepared a special meal to accommodate my new diet, and the owner is always incredibly friendly and treats you like family.
My friend and I ate here for the first time last night. We will go back again. The soup was very good and the warm pita and garlic sauce was perfect for a cold night. We had the chicken kabobs and I have leftovers. The owner is a sweetheart.
5/5 amazing food, atmosphere and service. Food came quickly and the owner is an extremely kind person, made us feel at home. Would highly recommend the garlic chicken
My go-to is the chicken kabob and I always make sure to get tzatziki or however you spell it. The chicken is juicy and seasoned right every time.

This place has some amazing food. The restaurant is usually never crowded and the atmosphere is quiet. The owner is really nice and always adds some extra in the house.

What a lovely place, with amazing food and outstanding service! I had the lahmajoon which was beautifully made and served with pilaf rice and salad on a plate. The owner was super sweet, and him running a one-man show made the experience even more personal. I’ll definitely come back to try some of the other dishes too!
This place is super cute and owner is very kind. Went today with my son. Kabob on the stick was the best. Gyro meat wasn’t sliced like I’m use to and not on a pita bread or if it was it was way to thin but was okay.
I found this place searching for something new to eat around here in Fresno! This place has pretty good reviews for their Gyros so I had to try it out. Walking in, it is very quiet and clean. Considering the reviews, I am hoping the lack of customers is due to me being here at dinner time on a Monday night. I ordered a lamb gyro (disappointingly it is not cut from a spicket), with extra tzaziki on the side. The lamb was cut into large chunks. The flavor was okay, but was missing something. Not to be a stickler, but I was the only person in the restaurant and I definitely heard a microwave opening and closing and a few seconds after that received my order. The side salad I had was just sad. Lettuce with tomato and a watery vinaigrette. No olives, no fets, no onion, no cucumber. It was strange how there was no cucumber at all anywhere. The pilaf was buttery, pretty good and they put a lot on the plate. It just needed some more seasoning! This was a nice place to try, kind people, but the food was not up to par ! Fixable.

My coworker and I were looking for a Mediterranean spot and chose this one based on the reviews. It looked cute from the outside, and we were checking out the menu posted by the entrance before going in. Before we could even respond or step inside, who I believe was the owner came out, asked if it was for here or to go, and told us to sit outside as if the decision was already made for us. That rubbed me the wrong way. We didn’t even get a chance to answer. It felt like he wanted us outside, not in his restaurant. So I just said “to go” because, honestly, at that point, it didn’t feel welcoming. There were two older women eating inside, so clearly, it wasn’t a full-house situation. My coworker and I looked at each other — confused. Later, he brought the food out and gave me the total. I handed him my debit card, and instead of just having me come in to enter my PIN, he ran it and then waved me inside to do it. Again felt rushed, transactional, and cold. He even asked if I worked nearby, which just made things feel even more awkward. I really can’t shake the feeling that we weren’t welcome. And the only thing that stood out about us? We’re both Latinas. Oh and the pit bread was stale. So yeah, not going back.
