Do Bo Sung Frisco Reviews
I was very impressed with the food at Dong Bo Sung in Frisco. The quality has improved significantly compared to my visit a few years ago. Every dish was freshly cooked to order, arriving at the table hot and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Seafood Stir-Fried Noodles—if I remember correctly, it was item #52. The dish looked exactly like the menu photo, which was a pleasant surprise. The vegetables and seafood were perfectly balanced with the sauce, and the noodles were well-coated, making every bite delicious. The servers were attentive and friendly, frequently checking in on our table without being intrusive. The Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) was served with a thick, rich sauce that had just the right consistency. The Kanpoonggi (crispy spicy chicken) was freshly fried and stayed crispy even under the sauce. The vegetables in the sauce were finely chopped, making it easy for kids to enjoy as well. You can also request it non-spicy, which makes it a great option for families with children. Overall, everything was flavorful, fresh, and served with great hospitality.
This is great food! Wonderful service. Probably one of the best Chinese/Korean food places around. Friendly service and just exceptional food. I got confused with another location with a similar name but they are worlds apart.
Five stars all around. The fried rice and sesame chicken were delicious!
Dong Bo Sung has one of the best jjajangmyeon jjambong is the area! I highly recommend their Uni Jjajang (w pork black bean noodle) as well as their Jjambong.
I got the black bean noodle and a black bean noodle with veggie and pork, both were good. Sesame chicken was okay. I would come here again for the black bean noodles
Amazing food. Some of the best fried rice I've had. So good had to order food for later. Definitely try this place out!
I ordered some big dishes for my guests. They are very delicious Korean style Chinese cuisine and portions are big enough to share.
This is my go to place when I want to eat Korean jajangmyun 짜장면 or Chinese food in Frisco. Most of the dishes I ate here are pretty good. It’s not the best jajangmyun 짜장면 I’ve had, but here in Texas it’s good enough. The best jajangmyun 짜장면 is in New York and New Jersey.
I took a date. I had orange chicken and she had tofu. The servings were generous. We took food home. I will be back.
Among Korean Dallasites, the Dong Bo Sung on Royal Lane is a restaurant we swear by. I have driven down to Dallas far too many times to get a bowl of jjajangmyun or jjamppong. Now it is five minutes from home with the same great taste. Couldn't be happier!

Amazing place! Most definitely will be eating here again. I ordered a whole lot of food, and was not questioned! My only complain and that's me being picky, I wish majority of the drinks weren't just bottled drinks.
2nd time visiting since they open years ago. Had a chance to try their seafood noodle soup and for $12 in Frisco, it is a great deal. All their noodle platters were price fairly and tasted well. Would recommend.
We had lunch here and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and could be shared with another person. The egg drop soup and the hot and sour soup were both very good. Absolutely would recommend.
It was amazing!!! I really enjoyed the black bean noodles and the flower bread is soft and fluffy and sweet and the dumplings are INCREDIBLE the waiter was so kind! The plates are HUGE so you can take home your leftovers over all it was an amazing experience I will 100% be returning!!

Portions were good and it tasted pretty good! Really nice service and their setup for take outs during this time was cool! I do recommend the black bean noodles but the pork with sweet and sour sauce was okay
So happy there is a Korean-Chinese style restaurant in Frisco. The fried chicken with garlic sauce is one of the best we’ve had in DFW. The black bean sauce for two was great. The kids loved it. The noodles in the seafood and vegetables are over cooked. We prefer our noodles al dente. The service is friendly and location clean.

The indoor layout can be more organized, and no customer want to sit right next to messy unpack boxes. Noodle dishes are the highlight here, and this is a Korean Chinese restaurant. The price is overcharged regarding the quality and the portion.
The Dallas Dong Bo Sung is pretty good but for some reason the Frisco location has not been up to par. My first visit in 2018 was the best one and it has just never been as good.. I've had black bean noodles that smelled inexplicably pungent, seemingly undercooked pork in tangsuyuk, fried rice with weirdly massive ingredients, hair in my takeout order, and spicy seafood noodles that I couldn't finish because it just wasn't very good. I still keep trying them again from time to time because I'm hoping their quality starts to match that of the Dallas location.
Came to have lunch around 2 in the afternoon and it was semi empty. The service was great and the food came out with 15 minutes. I ordered the orange/ sesame chicken, broccoli beef, and sautéed chicken and veggies with a side of fried and steam rice. The fried rice and broccoli & beef were favor less. The sesame chicken and orange chicken were the same just with sesame seeds. The food was ok but nothing I would crave in the future. The only yummy one was the sautéed chicken with veggies. ** There was a semi linguring smell of sewer as I entered the restaurant. The smell was extremely prominent in the restroom.

Jjajjang myeon here is perhaps in the better side compared to other Chinese-Korean restaurants in DFW. Noodles are perfectly al dente. Sauce is nice and thick. A tad bit excessive with onions for my taste and little meat/seafood. Similar experience with their Jjampong. broth and ingredients are just ok. Seafood and meat in Jjampong is quite small and lacking, but the flavor is there and noodles are cooked al dente. Too much cabbage filler. Tangsuyook isn’t good…perhaps one of my least favorite dishes here.
Food quality wasn’t good for Chinese-Korean. Bland. And portions were small for entrees, noodles portions were big but lacked Flavor. Not sure why the reviews are good.
Place smelled like bathroom. My sweet n sour chix had really old oil grease taste. My noodle soup was undercooked. All the vegetables were so fresh. First time here and also last time
