Jeff's Vegan Frisco Reviews
I can’t recommend this place enough! The food is consistently delicious, and they have a fantastic variety on the menu so there’s always something new to try. My favorites are the passion balls in sesame sauce—the flavor is incredible—and their chow mein, which is cooked to perfection every time. Definitely a go-to spot!
Been going here for years. The Mongolian deluxe is a favorite. Very good for this style of vegan Asian food. I’ve found places that buy similar soy based meats and prepare them a similar way and they aren’t as good.
I'm from out of town visiting my sister. I'm vegan and she's not. She got the health burger and she rated it 8.5 out of 10! I had veggies and tofu/rice with spring rolls......10/10. I'll definitely be returning next time I come back to frisco.
I love this place. Home cooked Vegan meals! The staff is so polite and friendly! A must try for anyone looking for a home cooked vegan meal!
One of the best vegan restaurants we have in Frisco. Service was great. Wendy was very attentive and took care of us well.
I don’t like to leave bad reviews, especially not for places like this. I am not going put bad stars because I don’t want to hurt their ratings. I’ve tried D’Vegan and Goji Cafe, and both are amazing-I’ve loved them for years, and both are vegan restaurants much like this one that serve a little bit similar of a menu. When first walking in, I almost thought they might be under the same owners. It was not similar at all-I ordered the fried rice noodles and asked for eggplant to be added. Just eggplant. They seemed confused about the request so I pointed to another menu item and said “I like the way this one is prepared”. I was given a disgusted look and told that they couldn’t do that because it’s two different flavors. As an Autistic adult, sometimes my body just wants to eat what it wants to eat. It doesn’t really need to make sense for anyone else. It didn’t matter to me if it was prepared separately or was on the side. I was simply told they can’t add eggplant in any way and given a look like I was gross just for asking. The noodles themselves were not very good, either. They had a subtle turmeric flavor and soy sauce flavor, they were very salty towards the bottom. I don’t waste food normally and didn’t take the remainder home. My Mom’s potstickers were served cold. She waited a few minutes to eat them, but they were also cold on the inside, like they weren’t heated all the way through. It was a sad meal. The music is also very loud. I wouldn’t really say this is an Autistic friendly restaurant.
This place is a real gem. I can't get enough of the soy nuggets and healthy delight. The black bean protein is so delicious I can't wait to try more. Also the cucumber mint lemonade is super refreshing and a perfect pick me up in the middle of the day. I love it here! Plus the very friendly staff makes me feel so welcomed and comfortable. :)
OMG, they finally reopened! This is my favorite vegan restaurant. They were closed for a month, and I’ve been waiting for them to come back. And today, they’re finally open again! You must order their Passion Ball — it’s incredibly delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with amazing layers of flavor. I couldn’t stop eating it. Their Crispy Salt & Pepper Tofu is another must-try! Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and still silky on the inside. It’s one of those dishes where you take a bite and immediately think, “This is so good!” And the Spicy Kung Pao Tofu is absolutely fantastic. The spice level is just right, the sauce is flavorful and addictive. Honestly, it tastes even better than many non-vegan versions I’ve had.
I really appreciate Jeff’s Vegan for offering an all-vegan menu that alone deserves five stars! The food is pretty good overall, and I love having a place where I can eat freely without worrying about ingredients. The only thing I’d say is that the cake was a bit dry, and while the food isn’t exactly astounding, it’s still tasty, satisfying.
Our All-Time Favorite Vegan Spot! Jeff’s Vegan is hands-down our go-to restaurant and an absolute favorite for our whole family—especially our kids! We’ve been loyal customers for over 4 years, and the food and experience never disappoint. Our top picks? The sesame balls in sweet and sour sauce, the eggplant tofu stir fry, and the chow fun noodles—all absolutely delicious! The menu is huge, and honestly, everything we’ve tried has been full of flavor and made with care. What really sets Jeff’s Vegan apart, beyond the amazing food, is the incredible staff. Everyone is always so welcoming, warm, and genuinely happy to see you. It feels like visiting family every time we go. With so many restaurants closing these days—especially vegan ones—we can’t stress enough how much we love and support Jeff’s Vegan. If you haven’t been yet, please give them a try. You’ll be glad you did!
Very tasty vegan food that's just enough to fill your appetite. Great vegan place in the busiest area of Frisco. Wonderful food, many varieties and superb service. There menu is so long and had so many varieties of vegan choices. The place isn't like one of those high-end vegan restaurants, but don't let the casual and simple decorations fool you. The place is definitely worth a visit if you like vegan meal and I for one will revisit again many more times.
Absolutely blown away by Jeff's Vegan! From start to finish, the food was truly amazing. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Their vegan menu is outstanding – so many delicious and creative options to choose from! It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into their plant-based offerings. The service was also top-notch; my server was attentive, friendly, and made me feel so welcome. It's rare to find a place that excels in both food quality and service, but Jeff's Vegan has definitely nailed it. I'm already planning my next visit and can't wait to explore more of their incredible menu. Highly, highly recommend!
AdByrd’s creative team stopped by Jeff’s Vegan, and we were blown away! The Classic Fried Rice was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, The Smile of Buda was a standout with its rich, satisfying taste, and the Spring Rolls were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be eating here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing vegan food.
Food has never let me down here, passion balls and spicy love are a personal favorite. The servers are always super kind and attentive. The restaurant gets so much sun during golden hour combined with lots of plants indoors it’s perfect for a dinner date. Very much a homey atmosphere from the food to the seating 🫡🥲
They are still open for takeout! Went for the first time yesterday and loved it. I ordered the summer rolls, chow mein, and cheesecake. The chow mein noodles were very tender and the shape does not look so perfect so I wonder if they were homemade. The cheesecake was also great and has a very smooth texture. The summer rolls were just okay. They were mostly lettuce but I wonder if they are unable to stock all ingredients like normal since business is slow from the virus. Everything still looked and tasted very fresh.
In the area visiting for soccer games and the only vegan in my family. I called in a carry out order of potstickers and green curry to Jeff's Vegan. Order was ready in ten minutes when I got there. Food was pretty good and I'll look forward to trying this place again on future visits to the area.
We went there for vegan food. I don't know what to say about the food, really. The presentation and the food both feel amateurish, although not bad. However, the flavor is just different from what I would expect based on the name put on the menu. So, I think calling it amateur is the best way to describe it. Portion is very small as well. I wouldn't go back.
Absolutely Bad. Most of the Thai plates we ordered was horrible with cheap ingredients. Who puts Black Beans, Garbanzo Beans and Potatoes in Red Curry? They put it in there because it is cheap. Also the main protein (Tofu) was hard to find om the food. We had hardly 2-3 thin strips of tofu in our Red Curry and Basil Fried Rice. Definitely a huge disappointment for a 30 minute drive. Would not recommend anyone.
Very disappointed with food quality and taste. I order Red curry and fried rice. Red curry didn’t taste good at all and had lot of veggies and beans that you would never expect in red curry. Garbanzo beans, black beans , cabbage. Corn and carrots. I ask with tofu and they bearly put two to three little skinny pieces.
Don’t be misled by the reviews—this place serves mediocre food at best. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with black bean protein (an extra $3), which ended up costing $18. There were barely any beans in it. The vegetarian momos were completely bland and lacked any flavor. Definitely not worth the money.
