Frank Seoul Frisco Reviews
Great service and the price to food portion and quality is hard to beat. The young gentleman who works at the register provided great service and was very kind. The Korean twist to corn dogs is a nice change from American corn dogs. Even though these are deep fried, I was surprised to find the corn dogs were not greasy. They were filling, but much lighter than most fried foods. Usually, after eating fried foods, I get that lethargic feeling but I didnt feel any sluggishness after eating these.
Surprised to find such authentic Korean street food in the area. The food was very delicious, and by the taste of it, I could tell the quality of the food was exceptional. I ordered the Seoul Hot Dog and the Teokbbokki, would rate it 10/10, definitely recommend it to everyone. In addition to the exemplary food, the staff and the ambience of the place was outstanding. The staff were kind and very helping, and the place itself was clean and well designed. Definitely visit again and recommend to everyone.
Awesome experience! The asian cashier girl who took my order was tremendously helpful to me and my family. She gave me recommendations on what to get and the hot dogs were absolutely delicious. 10/10 service. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
The workers were so friendly and the Korean corn dog was delicious! My sister, mothers and I went to go to look around in the area and found this gem. We will definitely be back. And I am not sure if I ran into the owner or the manager outside of the shop but who ever he was he was so sweet and nice to talk to! Also got a free tote since it was grand opening it was super cute (:
New place!! Their grand opening is super nice with free lemonade and Korean style drink. Love Korean hotdogs for the sugar coating they have! This place is practicing social distancing well with mask required to enter. Floor spaces labeled for waiting in line and every other table is marked off for social distancing for dine in guests. Going to be a great addition to the area!
FOOD IG: @northtx.gemz •••• 🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: the famous Korean corn dogs, tteokbokki dishes (Korean spicy rice cakes), & tons of different drinks. They also have a busier location in Carrollton. 🍒 THE VIBE: simple little place to grab a snack with you and your friends! Perfect catch up with drinks and snacks. Kind of coffee shop vibes you definitely can sit in here and enjoy your own company. 🍒 PRICE: $15 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. •••• Overall Rating: 9/10 - I’ve been wanting to switch it up from Oh K-dog’s Korean corn dogs for a while. I also am not a fan of Two Hands Korean corn dogs so wanted to give Frank Seoul a shot. - I’m so glad I did and wish this place had more hype! They have a ton of menu options for the types of corn dogs from cream cheese dogs to a sweet red bean dog! - They also have different types of tteokbokki that you can add dumplings and ramen too! also honey pancakes?! This place is the perfect Asian junk food heaven. - There are various drinks from lemonades to coffee. I liked my kiwi lemonade but it’s sprite based and I felt like it only tasted like sprite. You do have the option to change it to sparkling water which I will most likely do next time!
Definitely come check this out! The restaurant offering korean corn dog I know of is in Carrollton but I genuinely prefer this one. I got the all mozzarella with sugar and it was super good. They are also giving free drinks with your order and I chose their sweet drink, unfortunately I forgot the name, but it’s super good. Great atmosphere and protects their customers with social distancing.
To be honest, I just got a plain hotteok because I was craving it…& it did not disappoint! It was made to order so it was warm & the honey was gooey, while the peanuts gave it a nice crunch. I am excited to visit this place again. They also serve it with nutella, cheese, or ice cream. HOWEVER, they also also sell Korean hot dogs & Tteok-bokki (Korean spicy rice cakes). In addition, they have various hot & cold drinks. I am excited to try their matcha dalgona coffee some time. So, those are other reasons to visit them again. Love the customer service as well 🙂
Have you watched the Squid Game? The dalgona ice cream at Frankseoul Frisco is to die for! Oh and the Soojungga (수정가) sweet cinnamon iced tea was what was needed to put out the fire after spicy dinner. I might even dare you to try it to see if you like it better than sweet Texas iced tea. 😋
We ate there for the first time last night. We are new to Korean food and I know I can't pronounce everything correctly so my daughter and I had created our order on Yelp and screenshotted the cart. Upon entering a cute cow bell on the door rang and I heard a cheerful Hello! from a young girl at the counter. A very tall young man was helping people at the register. When it was my turn I just handed him my phone and said this is what we want. He was so nice and could tell I was new to the menu and he explained about some of the dogs coming with sugar on them, if I chose. I am diabetic and said no additional sugar. At that point he did tell me that the drink I ordered was very sweet. I really appreciated him letting me know as I adjusted my insulin before eating to account for it. We ordered 3 hot dogs and rose teokbbokki. After talking, I also ordered a cheese hotteok. He explained that the teokbbokki would take a little while and I did wait about twenty minutes but the atmosphere was so nice in the restaurant that I did not mind. The music was entertaining and not too loud. The staff was so nice to everyone. The store was extremely clean and had private seating booths and a long table for community seating in the middle. They made sure we had utensils and extra napkins in our bag when I left. The food was hot and fresh. You could feel the heat through the bag. We drove to a park to eat and people watch. The food was amazing!!!! I spent $40 and it was so worth it. But next time we will not order so much because we were both overly stuffed. My daughter had the rose teokbbokki and she gave me a rice noodle that was so good. I had never had teokbbokki or rice noodles. It was mouthwatering!! The noodle was fat and chewy and I understand why that dish is the most popular. She also had a potato cheddar hot dog that was huge!! She said she was full after the rose, but she forced herself to eat the hotdog because it was so good. I understand because I also overate. I misunderstood the menu because I thought all of the hotdogs had sausage inside so all of my meal was basically dessert but it ended up being a happy mistake. I got a cream cheese dog (I thought it would be similar to a Seattle dog). It was just cream cheese inside of a crispy dog coating and it came with jelly. It was still good. I also ordered the seoul angdog which is just red bean paste with a crispy coating. I was completely delighted by this because red bean paste is my favorite and I was in heaven. Best dog I have ever had. Last I had the cheese hotteok. I bit into it and the cheese pull!!!! OMG!! The pancake itself had that little char flavor to it, that I have learned makes the best pancakes. But the best item of the night was my drink. Sujeonggwa. I got it because the menu said it was a cinnamon punch and I like cinnamon. This was the best dang thing I have ever put in my mouth. I could drink that every day and die a happy person. It is cinnamon but so much more. It is spice. I could taste just a hint of black pepper and cardamom. It was almost like a masala blend but better than any masala I have ever had. It was sweet but not overly sweet. And it had some kind of little nut in it. The drink was also large enough that it lasted the entire drive back to Oklahoma. Overall, we have a new favorite place to go to when we drive to the Dallas area. But we won't go overboard and order the entire menu next time, although I would buy that drink by the gallon if they had it.
Fair food at a fair price... A friend stumbled upon this place in a list of new places to try in Dallas. So I decided to give it a try. Place is very clean and the staff is very nice and courteous. I ended up ordering a cheddar cheese, a half and half, and a potato dog not expecting them to be half the size they were so I had some left over. These dogs are huge and that’s part of the greatness. Each dog was tasty and unique in a way that you usually only find at a state fair. The half and half was probably my favorite because it was basically like combining a giant molten cheesestick and a corn dog. But also what does every dog need? Condiments. There is a good variety including ketchup, mustard, nacho cheese sauce, maple sauce (syrup), honey garlic, sriracha, Tabasco, and even a unique hot sauce that is the star of the show. You can’t go wrong. The prices were also very reasonable. You can get a dog and a drink and leave with your wallet only $10 lighter or less. The strawberryade I believe it was called was also good. It was like a limeade from Sonic but better. I will definitely be back and I hope this restaurant will be a Frisco staple for years to come.
Great spot for korean hot dogs. The cheese dog is my go to. The potato is very good, but the star here really is their Hotteok desserts. Delicious and addictive, it's a honey pancake style dessert, available with several fillings. Its a must try dessert! Everything seems to beade to order, as it always takes a few minutes, but I'd much rather have fresh made, personally.
SOO GOOD! just go! I am not a corndog/hotdog person, I do not eat them and I ate ALL of my frankseoul!! My husband and I also got the extra spicy tteokbboki with ramun and I'm already dreaming about the next time I get it. for dessert I got the hotteok (honey pancake) and its a must try! yummy warm and a good level of sweet. The restaurant was clean and the staff was so nice!! they explained the menu and drinks and I'm so grateful to have this little slice of Korean street food. can't wait to go back!
Visited Frank Seoul last Friday, really enjoyed the food and service! The staff had good recommendations for the snacks and drinks. They had good social distancing measures and the staff were all wearing masks. It was the first time I had Korean Style Hotdogs and I would definitely go back again. I got the cheese rice cakes as well and they were really yummy. Will for sure be going back for the good food and quality customer service!
This is my new favorite spot for Korean Hot dogs! I especially like how their menu is big and easy to read. They also have a variety of Korean street foods like Spicy Rice Cakes and Korean Honey Pancake. I also really enjoyed their new House Orange and Strawberry lemonade. It was super refreshing, especially on a hot day in Texas. Overall, the place is clean and has great Covid-19 safety precautions put in place. Highly recommend for friends and family!
I ordered on DoorDash and had some issues with the delivery but the restaurant was willing to remake the order for another driver to come. the food was absolutely AMAZING. Very quick for the food to be made and ready and for the issues they were nice enough to add another corn dog when they didn’t have too plus wrote a little note apologizing for something that was even their fault. I must mention again the food was soooo good and made correctly 💜 I’ll definitely order again though !
Wow! My first time trying Korean street food and it didn’t disappoint. I though corn dogs where an American thing and now let me say that American style is pretty bland and boring compared to Korean Corndogs. They are bigger than on the pictures which was a nice surprise. They were not burning hot, amazing! They didn’t taste overly greasy at all for something fried. The service was exceptional. The only think that would make this place better is if it didn’t smell like burned oil all the time. Maybe invest in some filters or something idk. Overall amazing!
Great variety of Korean corn dogs; Cheese and Potato is my favorite, always crispy on the outside and gooey cheese on the inside. There are three versions of Tteokbokki and all three are great, just depends on what you are feeling like when you go in.
Cool Korean street food place serving up fried corn dogs and other eats. Ordered on their website and was easy to use. Food was ready in about 10 minutes. Corn dogs were both fresh, really liked the potato one. Comes out smelling like fries. Teokbboki was pretty good with three ramen added. Hotteok (honey pancake) was very good and a nice way to end the meal on a sweet note. Tastes very rustic. Great addition to an already diverse Asian complex.
Fried dogs and cheese! Soup was really good but spicy, have to sip it the right way. Really good potato cheese stick, super cheesy but don't expect a hot dog inside the "potato cheese hot dog", that would be just the potato dog. Drinks were great, make sure to mix up the dalgona drinks for full flavor. Great stop, must try.
Variety of Korean street foods! The potatoe corn dog is the best of both worlds. French fries and hot dog in one! The Seoul corn dog was also great. Sweet crunchy batter. The honey pancake was definitely different on the much sweeter side. Super clean nice ambiance. Accommodating staff. Great aesthetic photo spot!
Yum! Great hot dogs. I wish there was an option for the potato hot dog to come with a 100% beef dog instead of the beef, pork and chicken dog. Friendly staff and good food.
I enjoyed my visit to Frankseoul. The staff were friendly and kept the establishment clean. I had the number 3 with sugar. It was delicious and gluten friendly. I would recommend others to stop by.
We've been here many times and we really like it. The menu consists of mostly korean style hot dogs, Teokbbokki, which is pretty good, but really spicy and Hotteok. The place is not crowded and is pretty clean. The service is relatively fast too.
I have always wanted to try Korean Street food that I've seen on YouTube. They had on BTS playing onscreen so winner! It is on the Northside of Ranch 99 on Warren Pkwy. They're close by Gen BBQ. Ordered all the different types of hot dog. I literally thought it would just be a snack but it was very filling. They asked if we wanted sugar on top like in Korea, and of course I said Yes. Gotta try it. We had the regular hot dog, the potato mozzarella one, the potato hot dog one, the tteokbokki with seaweed rolls, and sujjeonggwa (korean punch drink.) It is definitely different than the American version but still, tasted good. The sugar on the hot dog bun, reminded me of malasadas (Portuguese suvar donut.) We were all full with our hotdogs. I loved my potato mozzarella hot dog the best. Highly recommend, especially since the closest one similar is in Carrollton
I thought it was really sweet one of the employees posted about this place so I came here for lunch on a cold Monday afternoon. It was a good decision! I ordered teokbbokki with ramyun, half and half hot dog, and a Korean milk coffee. The rice cakes were nice and chewy, the fish cakes had a good flavor, and it came with a hard boiled egg too! Very filling. And spicy. The honey garlic mustard sauce went great with the hot dog. Glad I checked this place out!
Hidden gem in the Frisco Suburbs! For all my Korean culture enthusiasts, this place serves the best k-snacks!! We have been craving to try the k-style corn dogs for 2 years now and we thankfully found Frankseoul in Frisco. Freshly fried corn dogs served with a delectable range of sauces (hot sauce, mustard, honey garlic, ketchup, cheese) - this place sure knows how to deliver the authentic corn dog for the uninitiated. We ordered the potato cheese corn dogs as we are vegetarian! We also got the tteokbokki to go which the store customized for us without fish cakes! 10/10 - would definitely recommend this place for a lazy morning brunch and/or an evening snack😄
So glad there is a Korean corn dog joint in Frisco. The hotdogs are large and fried perfectly and coated with just enough sugar to give it a little sweetness. The price for a regular corn dog #1 Seoul Hot Dog is only $2.50!!

I’m really happy that there is a Korean place nearby my home now where I can get spicy rice cake anytime! I was excited to try and was surprised by how good it was. I got the Seoul Hot Dog with no sugar and was surprised how good it was and how familiar it taste to the ones in Korea! The ones I had in Carrollton were lack luster compared to here. I would def recommend there hot dogs! It’s nice and crispy and the sauces are super good. The spicy rice cake I was okay with only because I felt like it was more of a soup than anything and not enough rice cakes! Flavor wise it’s good and it’s definitely better when you dip your hot dog in there. If they add more rice cakes I’ll def update my review!
Good food but overpriced; they never updated the new pricing on their menu, it has doubled since the last pictures!
I went here for lunch, and overall it was pretty good! I ordered the Dalgona Matcha and the Rose Tteokbokki with sausage and ramyeon, and I enjoyed both! Some minor complaints: the service for the food was a bit slow, even with a nearly empty shop with not too many other customers. The drink came out fast though, but I was told you can't adjust the sweetness or ice levels. Overall this place was good, I would definitely come back!
This was a nice little place to try new things, like a Korean corn dog. We ordered two different ones; the original and the half/half that was half corn dog and half mozzarella cheese. The outside was incredibly crispy, while the hit dog remained juicy. I do wish it had more flavor though. The dipping options were limited; mustard, ketchup, a hot sauce, syrup, and a garlic sauce. The house made orange-ade was a refreshing treat. Overall, this place has a unique offering that is worth trying if in the area.
Went thrifting at the are. After walking around window shopping, we were hungry and decided to try this place nearby. Place wasn’t that busy, but clean and neat. Staffs also attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and able to give us suggestions. I didn’t take a pic of our drink. It was kiwi limeade. Check this place out if you’re in the area.
Unique Korean style hot dogs. Really liked the outside. I got the hot dog covered in potatoes and topped with sugar with a maple syrup dip! Yum. Wasn't too crazy about the taste of the hot dogs though. I thought they were a good price though and it's a good size. Also tried the sweet bean and it was delicious. The dalgona coffee was decadent. Very clean place and friendly staff.
Visited this place for the first time today! It’s my daughters birthday and we thought it would be fun! Upon entering, we weren’t really greeted. In fact the employees just didn’t really talk or engage with us at all. They can’t keep expecting us to tip them when they aren’t even providing good service. I still want to give my extra money to those who actually try. Anyway, besides service, the food was really good and I’ll be back. I was also VERY excited to see that they sell Samgak Kimbap! I have been wanting some for a while but I never know where I can buy them. When I arrived there were only 2, so I bought both hoping maybe they’d bring more out. But they never did. I would’ve bought so many if they would have. Overall a good experience and I would definitely recommend to others.

Excellent customer service but their food selection needs better quality. You can taste the fry oil was getting old. Food presentation for the potato hot dog was unique but the quality and taste just wasn't their. But again the customer service received by the female was fantastic! Will have to come back and try again later and then update the review.
I'm not leaving a "bad" review, rather, an honest one. The food here is really ...not good. Probably the worst tteokbokki ive ever had. Talked to the owner about it and he was making nonsense excuses about why it is the way it is. Tteokbkkki is not that hard and not complex, esspecially for a Korean fast food type of restaurant. The rosé tteokbokki was grainy with too much parm that made it thick and almost spaghetti-ish. It was NOT rosé tteokbokki at all. Even the regular cheese tteokbokki was weird... like was was the sauce hardening into like jelly pieces? It started looking gross too. The hotdogs were so dry and the sausages inside looked so pale like it had been boiled for too long. Lile the color really gave me the ick. It was very very..pale with overall no flavor. My friend was invited to make a video to help boost sales but honestly we left disatisfied and hungry. I hope the Owner can rethink on the food and taste it for himself, because I really don't want people trying Korean Street foods for the first time get this and think this is the standard. Hope everybody takes it with a grain of salt. Usually take like 100 photos but took one, ate, put my phone away, and walked out.
The seol hot dog and potato hot dog just weren’t it—no amount of sauce could save them. The guy there didn’t seem all that friendly either. Felt like he was rushing the orders and cleaning up right next to people like he couldn’t wait for them to leave.
