Focacceria Dolce e Salato Genova Reviews
The shop assistants are always very welcoming and kind, the focaccia is delicious like almost everything else.
Good typical bakery place with plenty of tasty regional take-away food options.
A cozy atmosphere where you can find both sweet and savory delicacies of excellent quality. You can also enjoy coffee with table service. The service is excellent and it's practically always open. In my opinion, one of the best focaccerias in Genoa. Highly recommended.
What can I say? I come here often because I can enjoy a large breakfast with fresh baked goods while enjoying a good cappuccino. The staff is truly very kind and friendly, and the food is excellent. I think the focaccia is one of the best in the area. They've also recently renovated the place, so it's even nicer! Perhaps a little more cleaning of the tables after people have finished eating would be appreciated. I highly recommend it.
Very tasty ,melt in your mouth focaccia!Friendly staff, they had few slices already cut but they served me from a hot one they've just took out of the oven!

The best focaccia in town ! Almost open 24/7!
Great bakery, great focaccia and brioches. Optimal for a coffee with a little breakfast. For lunch, a lot of choices of focaccia filled of everything!
So yummy

always open!!
It would be a nice and beautiful place in itself, but it's a shame about some of the employees... They don't smile, they always look angry, and they don't want to. Too bad, I'd like to see more charismatic, kind, and polite staff, even though it's midnight and I'm leaving work, and get something for dinner, and not find pissed off people!
Whenever I pass through Genoa, I always come here to buy focaccia. It's a shame that on Sunday afternoon, June 1st, I spent a whopping €36 on focaccia and pizza. The girl working there (who was extremely pissed off) didn't seem to treat me very well. She even slammed my coffee on the saucer in a huff. I don't know if I'll be back. The focaccia and pizza were good, anyway.
Focaccia buttata.
Unfortunately, it's a shame to share this experience. A super-unfriendly clerk messed up our order, leaving us on the beach without food. When we pointed this out, she practically called us thieves, making us look like we were trying to cheat her (my mother, a respectable person, worked at the counter). I should point out that mistakes can happen; the difference lies in politeness, and unfortunately, that's lacking in this place.
There is a rather young Italian girl with blonde hair and a ponytail at the counter who is rude, slams the food when it is served, does things reluctantly and always gets requests wrong, for example, I asked for 4 pizzas and a bottled summer, she gives me ONE pizza and a summer in a carton without even having time to correct it when she is there, the service is beyond reproach.
Unfortunately, it's easy to leave negative reviews, but when you're truly disappointed, you can't help but do so. A little polite greeting? Anyway, the hot dog was thrown on the counter. I asked, "Sorry, a little check-up mayonnaise, don't put them there." Stupid, she took the package and when I opened it, it came back half-stained with mayonnaise on the outside and half-stained check-up on the outside.
I don't recommend it if you're looking for the typical Genoese focaccia. Limited selection and stale focaccia. The staff is rude and rushed.
This is their €3.50 cutlet sandwich/focaccia. Basically almost half a sandwich (which is also hard, maybe from the day before or certainly not fresh). Basically they put the cutlet in front of you and it seems like a nice full sandwich but then there is nothing behind it. They also do this with focaccias filled with ham or salami... nice and full in front and nothing behind. I went back to ask for explanations and was told that the (microscopic) cutlet was whole and it was the bread that was badly cut.. but what does that have to do with it?? As if this bread had been fresh and soft, I would say, well at least I'll eat the one without anything.. It seems like a joke to me..at least admit that you sell a half-empty sandwich..better to be honest.. You already do the same thing with other products.. It's normal that the bakery next door, (Simonitti) gives you a hard time like this every night (when it's open)..you almost empty and he's full.. Think about it, instead of thinking you're right
