Wildfire Georgetown Reviews
Great place. I will definitely return for another Mexican martini. Came to celebrate a birthday. Large group. Our server was very attentive. The food was great.
Food was great. Service was good. Drinks were strong and tasty. The only thing I did not were how close the tables were.
Lovely Experience! Our Waiter Will was so welcoming and nice. This was our first time having a fine dining experience with quality Food and Service. We loved our Entrees and Appetizers. I had Bacon wrapped filet Mignon and my Spouse had The Jamaican Pork Chop. Our meat was so well cooked and very Juicy. The Agave Carrots were sweet and good as well. Our Shrimp Artichoke Appetizers were so good, they were stuffed. We loved our Experience. I wish we could have tipped our Waiter More. He made great suggestions .We didn't get treated differently then anyone else or felt out of place. Most of the customers reserve tables so keep that in mind if you go around dinner time. Music is played in the background. And it does get crowded later in the evening. Our alcohol beverages were well made. We are so pleased with our experience. We would love to go back when we have the funds. If you want a good experience for two people I recommend having 200$ on you for your meal with drinks and dessert included.
Man oh man!! First time here and, the food was sooo amazing! The service was exceptional! The atmosphere was great and Shannon was very interactive and made the evening delightful! The desserts were off the charts delicious! And the drinks were fantastic! I got the key lime pie martini and it was like my taste buds were having a party! This place is definitely an unspoken of gem! We will be coming back and bringing friends and family! I will be blasting this place on all my media platforms! If there were sure thing as 10 stars, you would get 15! Thanks for making our evening great and our taste buds excited! Until next time!
This was the best m meal I've had in the area. I ordered the Elk with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything was very tasty and the meat and veggies were cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great spot for a special occasion.
I found this restaurant while passing by Georgetown. It was a total surprise! My daughter and I had only appetizers because we were late for our Christmas concert. So we ordered three appetizers: the salad with beets, the scallops wrapped in prosciutto and a bowl of corn chowder. Everything was so delicious that I had to go back after the concert to experience a full meal. Unfortunately, the restaurant was completely full and there were no tables available.
The restaurant was upscale but quaintly decorated. Our server Brent was phenomenal. He gave us the perfect amount of time to review the menu, offered his opinion when we were indecisive on an appetizer, and came to check on us regularly. I never post what we ordered but it was absolutely noteworthy to share for first time diners like my friend and I were. We started with the Maple Glazed Crackling Pork Belly then shared the Veal Loin Chop Piccata and Flame Kissed Agave Chicken Breast. We both are huge chicken piccata fans, their veal picatta was to die for! Perfectly cooked and the sides were better than described on the menu. The chicken was cooked beautifully but a little on the sweet side, which we weren't upset with considering agave was used in the description. First time but definitely not the last dining experience here! Thanks Brent for making our experience memorable and we hope to see you again soon :)
We went to this restaurant for our first time for my husband’s birthday. This restaurant was outstanding. My husband had the 16 oz. New York Strip. It was perfectly cooked. They cook it on post oak and the smoky flavor along with the tender meat was incredible! I had the 10 oz bacon-wrapped filet mignon. The flavor was also great. It was cooked perfectly! We also had drinks. I had the Mexican “Mason Jar” Martini. It was one of the best Mexican Martinis I have ever had. My husband had an on-tap microbrew Mexican-style beer (suggested by Will, the waiter) which was really good. Service was really good and attentive. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
The hostess seated us right after arriving; we did have a reservation. The waiter was very attentive, had good suggestions for the meal and was able to answer all our questions about the food and the restaurant; this was our first visit to Georgetown and the Wildfire. We had an appetizer of tortilla soup, steaks (bacon wrapped fillet and ribeye), baked potatoes, and shared an order of green beans with pecans. The meal arrived right after finishing the soup, having soaked all the broth with the dinner rolls - didn’t want to leave any left over! The steaks were juicy with good flavor, especially the ribeye, and the green beans were very tasty as well! After finishing the wonderful meal we decided to try a dessert. The most difficult part of the evening was trying to figure out which dessert to choose. We finally decided on the Blueberry Cheesecake Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. Oh My Goodness! Every bite was delicious! Can’t say enough good about the Wildfire. We will definitely be back!! Thank you to all the staff and chefs for a great experience!
We sat at the bar...excellent service from Jacob, Liz and Angela. I had the Jerk porkchop, delectable and hit the spot. The feature was the carrot cake. I love carrot cake and have had a lot of it...this by far the best! Really carrot stripe on the plate. Also pictured was the cowboy Riley and pecan green beans. I would be wrong in not mentioning the collard greens...superb.
Have wanted to go to Wildfire for quite some time and finally went for a friend’s birthday. The lamb chop was delicious and would get this again! Shoutout to McKenna for the great service and recommendations. The steak unfortunately was lacking flavor but the kitchen took care of that and made a peppered steak instead which was much better! Make sure to save room for dessert!!
Went to this restaurant on a business trip. At first wasnt seated right away but its true good things comes to those who wait. After ordering the food it came back instantly and the taste was great. Great sear on the steak and Mckenna the waiter was nothing but polite. Would definitely visit again and the price was amazing for this type of steak.
It’s one of the our favourite restaurants in Georgetown. Delicious food, pretty good choice of wine and beer, nice service every time we come! Every dish we ordered was delicious and beautifully served. Seafood salad with grilled fish, Greek salad with grilled tuna and fried seafood starter were really good! Last time we tried also carrot cake and we liked it a lot, got it a try! Love atmosphere and not loud music to enjoy the food and company. Really recommend to visit this restaurant.
Prime rib was perfect. Great menu choices and professional and friendly service. Would go back again. We had reservations but don't think we would have needed. Was a week day evening.

It's very nice atmosphere and a very nice place to have a relaxed dinner. I enjoyed the service. The food was delicious and basically I would go again and refer to anyone that asks.
It's superior good, service, ambiance and can't wait to go back for my birthday! The food is different for lunch, so inquire if you want a certain dish.

We've been here many times. Atmosphere feels like you might be in the 1920s in a good way. Had the veal pork loin chop for the first time last night and I loved the combination of different flavors on the plate though the meat could have been more tender. We will definitely keep going back occasionally.
The steak hits first, perfectly seared, juicy enough to make you forget every sad grocery store steak you’ve ever known, and seasoned like it’s been personally coached by a Texan cowboy who takes his beef very seriously. Then there’s the salmon, flaky and rich with just the right touch of char and seasoning, the kind of fish that makes you say “okay, this is how salmon was meant to be eaten.” And if you’re feeling adventurous, the elk shows up with a bold, earthy flavor that’s surprisingly tender and satisfying, like it’s whispering “thank you for ordering me” with every bite. The whole meal feels warm and welcoming, like the restaurant itself is giving you a steakhouse hug, and you’ll find yourself grinning with every forkful and already plotting your next visit before dessert even arrives.
Had high hopes based on the menu, as everything sounded great and I wanted to try every item on there, however, nothing wowed me once trying it. Starting with the rolls and butter, they appeared to be yeast rolls, but they didn't have that nice yeasty flavor and were rather bland, and unfortunately the butter couldn't help since it wasn't flavored or salted. The onion soup was ok, just not quite near being the best I've had. I'm big on sides and looked forward to the collard greens and loaded baked potato, but again the greens were just ok and the potato fell short. It wasn't nice and fluffy, but dense and close to being hard. The beef tenderloin had a great texture and was cooked correctly, but man the flavor was not good at all. I was looking forward to a live fire cooked steak, but this tasted like burnt char, even though it didn't have any apparent char on it. Somehow that unpleasant flavor still permeated throughout the steak. Still, I love the items that were placed on the menu, but now they just need to be executed a little better. I'll try again sometime and definitely try other items.
The green chili pozole soup is a great start to the meal. Tender pork, hominy, beans in a light, slightly spicy tomato based broth. Topped with a bit of cabbage and cilantro, very yummy. The chicken and dumplings is traditional with pillowy, tender dumplings covered in a white, very creamy sauce. Be sure and ordered some rolls to help get every last bit of sauce and chicken from the bottom of the bowl. Another hearty option is the beef pot roast. Fork tender with a bit of smoke sitting in a heaping helping of mashed potatoes. Too much for one person!
In from out of town and came in for lunch based on raving reviews. Good luck finding a spot to park. The atmosphere is fun and there is a lot to look at in the bar area. Seat yourself. The spinach and artichoke dip is great! I had the Big Dip which was good and unfortunately the ribeye was on the fatty side but the flavor was on point. The bathrooms are clean.
We saw great reviews and decided to give this place a try. The steaks are quite nice especially the ribeye deserves a 5 star! I did not like my chicken fried steak (I’ve had much better else where). Peach cobbler was not popular among our group but they have the best Carrot Cake we ever had. Overall, I recommend giving this place a try if you are in Georgetown.
The ambiance was excellent. Cozy and layout was comfortable. Was recommended by a friend. It was a bit upsetting that my husband and I watched the other waiters join in conversation with their guests…

Food was just ordinary, steak was tough and no flavor. Food over priced for what you get.\nSpinach salad was suppose to be a warm salad, dressing served was cold.\nVery disappointed won't be back!

Ok I have mixed feelings about this place. You must make a reservation. The food is great. The service was rushed. The margarita was so mid but the old fashioned was on point. The waiter was a nice guy but again, rushed. The place is loud. I believe if they were true to the food without trying so hard being “fancy” would be a 5 for me.
It's OK. I've dined here twice for lunch and the food has been mediocre, at best, both times. On this occasion, I ordered the Big Dipper: sliced top sirloin, caramelized onions, provolone cheese on a baguette with steamy au jus, with onion rings. __________________________________ The sandwich: the meat was so overly cooked, it was tough to eat, burned, and even crunchy in spots. You truly had to rip it with your teeth just to manage a small bite, and they forgot to put on the cheese. It was just beyond dry-even with the au jus- and overly done, making it unappetizing. I cannot recommend it from my experience. The price doesn't justify what you receive. The Onion Rings: They were OK. Much better than the sandwich. ___________________________________ Service: They offered phenomenal customer service, we were seated promptly, and there was not a long wait for our entrées. ___________________________________ Atmosphere: Beautiful restaurant and great ambiance. __________________________________ Prior visit: I ordered the Texas Sized Pastrami Reuben and encountered the same problem: the sandwich was overly done, not prepared well, and unappetizing. I haven't had any luck with their sandwiches and the onion rings are just OK. __________________________________ I'm not entirely sure I'll attempt a third visit, but as they say, "The third time is the charm." If you go, avoid the sandwiches, or don't have high hopes in that department.

Food, as always, was great. Our server was obviously uninterested in being there. Drinks were very late. He was clearing the table before everyone was finished. Not a pleasant experience. Our reservation was party of four at 7pm on Friday. I belive his name was Avery?
