Henry's House Gerenzano Reviews
I stopped for a business lunch, business menu... with a very high quality of dishes... I highly recommend it.
Incredibly delicious. We ordered 3 different pizzas and they were all very tasty. Desserts are a special kind of pleasure 😍 in a word - hello, we will definitely come back 👌
Excellent restaurant, very fair prices, very kind and friendly owner, we didn't have to wait long and the food was delicious! We didn't have any problems whatsoever.
...since it's a Saturday night, out of caution and habit, I booked for two.... Let me start by saying that the place is family-run, and that alone is enough for me. The staff are very friendly and helpful, you're escorted to your table, there are separate menus, refreshments, pizzas, and drinks. Table service is available from order to order, with reasonable waiting times. The food is excellent and the portions are just right. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from meat to fish, and drinks and desserts are consistent with a local restaurant. Obviously, it all depends on what you order and drink. The atmosphere is pleasant, and you can also eat outside. My wife and I will DEFINITELY be back, hopefully soon. ...I almost forgot to mention it, but I found the bar and tobacconist service very useful, given that the place is opposite the station... they have it all. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Found this restaurant by chance. My family and I were looking for a quick lunch and we stopped at Henry's House. The spaghetti was very good, the risotto exceptional, and the desserts were excellent (I recommend the tiramisu, truly excellent). But I especially want to highlight the price. In an era where spaghetti with clams costs over €20, house desserts cost at least €7-8, pasta with tomato sauce for a child costs at least €10, and chefs who until the day before were carpenters, it's fantastic to find a restaurant whose sole purpose isn't to fleece the customer. The girls split a plate of pasta, and the bill came to €6; elsewhere it would have been at least double, not to mention all the other items on the bill. So, in conclusion, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, both for the quality of the dishes and the price!
A delightful discovery near the Gerenzano train station. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service friendly, precise, and attentive. The pizza was delicious, and I particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the restroom and the restaurant. Kudos to the staff and the pizza chefs; we'll definitely be back!
Super !
Super nice. Great fish and tagliata manza perfect.
A truly excellent lunch break. Let's start with the staff. They were smiling, friendly, and quick. Mrs. Maura was truly attentive. Food: even for a business lunch at €11, it was excellent. Delicious homemade green ravioli. Superb steak. The spinach finally tasted like a real vegetable. My colleague Andrea also recommended the pizza (he's a huge customer). So I'll try it. A big thumbs up for me.
Elegant, welcoming, and clean. Just steps from the station, where there are some friendly canaries near the counter at the entrance. Reservations are recommended but not required. Good pizzas with a varied selection of fresh ingredients. Excellent first courses and their presentation: fresh, not frozen, ingredients, and homemade pasta. Desserts and coffee are also good. Always friendly and helpful. Although it's often busy, they're quite quick; you don't have to wait long, even for tables of more than four people. During the day, you can use the bar/tobacconist area, with the option of takeaway coffee. Great prices and excellent quality. A nice gift of small homemade meringues at the end of the meal is included, delicious and much appreciated.
🍝 MUCH MORE THAN A RESTAURANT 🍕 Henry's House owes its origins to the opening of Caffè Stazione in 1949, when "Carletto" Guzzetti began a long and exciting journey in the hospitality industry. Twenty years later, his son Enrico and his wife Rita continued their commitment by opening a trattoria, laying the foundation for the inauguration of Henry's House in 1985. In 2013, the restaurant underwent a major renovation, marking the transition to the third generation of the family, with their children Massimiliano and Maura taking over. Henry's House is strategically located, right next to the Gerenzano-Turate train station, on the Gerenzano side. The restaurant is very easy to reach, and guests can park their cars in the parking lots near the station. Opening hours are as follows: Monday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM; Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM; Wednesday, closed; Thursday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM Saturday, 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM Sunday, 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM. As you can see on the dedicated website, the restaurant offers "sincere" cuisine, with traditional dishes but with a contemporary twist. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with natural materials, soft lighting, and fresh flowers creating a simple and familiar atmosphere. The restaurant's two dining rooms are suitable for banquets and ceremonies, with specific menu options tailored to each guest's needs. The restaurant also features an outdoor space in the courtyard of what was once the farmhouse, where lunch and dinner are available during the summer months. The restaurant guarantees social distancing between tables, and I can personally confirm this. The menu is decidedly varied and well-researched, especially regarding food allergies and intolerances. Cover and service charges are also easy to find, though not always discounted. The prices seemed fair to me, perhaps slightly higher than what one would expect outside of Milan. You can pay with Ticket Restaurant, which is a very positive feature. Henry's House also offers tobacco and scratch-off card services. It also has a few rooms and operates as a guesthouse in simple, basic spaces located close to the restaurant. Prices are as follows (breakfast NOT included): Double room, from €45 to €70; Twin room (two single beds), from €45 to €70; Double room for single use, from €35 to €50. Amenities include: private bathroom and toilet (shower, sink, toilet, and bidet), use of amenities (towel, washcloth, bath sheet, soap, shower gel, toilet paper, wastebasket), chair, bedside table, daily housekeeping, daily bath linen change, weekly bedsheet change. I visited Henry's House with a friend early on a Friday evening. We didn't reserve, but we had no problem finding a table. However, during our dinner, we felt like we had to hurry, as it looked like guests with reservations were arriving. This didn't spoil our appetite, as it wasn't a planned dinner and we were planning on eating fairly quickly anyway. Anyway, the pizza I ate was good, very large, and flavorful. I admit that, despite having it without tomato sauce, I had a hard time digesting it. But that's something I often experience, most likely related to my mild lactose intolerance. My friend, who ordered a pizza like me, had no digestive issues whatsoever. I recommend it to anyone who, for one reason or another, finds themselves near the Gerenzano-Turate train station, or simply to anyone who wants to pay with Ticket Restaurant.

I'm sorry to write this review, but my parents were there for dinner, and the food was really unpleasant. Let's put it that way. Best regards.
